Baisha Ancient Town also has another advantage that Dayan Ancient City cannot compare with, that is, the ancient town is basically inhabited by locals, while Dayan Ancient City is already completely filled with foreigners doing business. In addition to seeing the scenery, you can also go to Baisha Ancient Town to understand the life of the Naxi people, and I believe you will also have different gains.

Transportation ticket: It costs about 40 yuan to take a taxi from Dayan Ancient City in Lijiang. Shuhe Ancient Town, between commercialization and original ecology

If Dayan Ancient City gives you the feeling that it is too commercial, and Baisha Ancient Town gives you the feeling of Taiyuan ecology, then coming to Shuhe Ancient Town is the best choice. This ancient town, which is located between Dayan and Baisha, is not fully commercialized as Lijiang, but it is more popular than Baisha. At least it has everything to eat, drink, accommodation, travel and play, but the consumption will not be too high and it will not be very noisy at night.

Shuhe Ancient Town, like Dayan, is a site that rose due to the ancient tea-horse road. Therefore, the most worthwhile place in the ancient town is the "Ancient Tea and Horse Road Museum". After walking the ancient horse road, you can also see the development history of the Naxi people and the rise of Yunnan tea culture. Riding horses in Lashihai has become a must-check event in Lijiang, so even in such off-season seasons, the racecourse is still full of people waiting for riding horses. But the only thing that made me feel a little deficient after the entire trip was: "The lakeside area still has not formed a unified management, and the behavior of dividing areas and governing them still exists."

To give a simple example: After we were pulled to the lake, there was only a small place provided for us to take photos. Some common check-in scenery in scenic spots were crowded into this small place. Tourists would queue up for a long time before they could take a photo., then can't we go to the area next door? I asked, but I really couldn't. It's the territory of other scenic spots. If I want to go in and take photos, I have to buy separate tickets. Look at the wide area along the lake. How many tickets would I have to buy if I played it all?
