Yunnan is my favorite travel destination and one of the most complete scenery in my country. There are high mountains here, including countless Yulong Snow Mountain, Cangshan Mountain, Meili Snow Mountain, etc. Some are steep, some are beautiful, and some are lonely. Each of them can give you different scenery; there are "seas" here, Erhai Lake, Fuxian Lake, Dianchi Lake, etc. Although they are not seas, they are bluer than the sea. Whenever the sun shines on the lake, you will understand the artistic conception of "facing the sea, warm spring flowers bloom"; There are ancient cities here, such as Dali, Dayan, Baisha, Shangri-La, etc., and the ancient cities in Yunnan are all narrow stone roads. They are not bustling with traffic, but only the style of walking out step by step.
In the golden autumn of October, our story begins in Lijiang ~
As a post-95s born, I began my journey of exploring the world after graduating from junior high school. Along the way, I have traveled to several countries and more than 300 cities. However, I have a unique emotion for Lijiang: because the ancient city I visited for the first time, It is Lijiang's grand research!
Taking advantage of the fact that there were fewer passengers at the end of the National Day, I took my girlfriend to Lijiang for a three-day tour. The main travel route was [Dayan Ancient City + Lashihai + Baisha]. There were not many attractions to check in., but it also just re-visits the essence of Lijiang; To be honest, taking a girlfriend out is not like a backpacker. The purpose of travel is to pass the time on a leisure vacation, so the trip is never too hasty. Let alone Lijiang itself is a lazy place ~
Lijiang is a city with spring seasons all year round. Even the twelfth lunar month in winter, there will be no shortage of flowers embellishments. Wear a beautiful dress and play in the sea of flowers. If you take a photo at random, it will be a beautiful commemoration.

1. Sun protection: Lijiang is a city with a spring all year round. The climate is mild and even on sunny days, you won't feel much "sun". However, the ultraviolet rays in Lijiang that you can't feel are the most serious. They can burn your skin in minutes. Therefore, when you come to Lijiang, you must prepare a sun umbrella to block ultraviolet rays.
2. Moisturizing supplies: Lijiang's climate is still relatively dry overall, perhaps because of the strong light! Bring some moisturizing products, facial masks, and lip balms.
3. Booking tickets: If you are going to the Yulong Snow Mountain, remember to grab tickets online a day or two in advance, especially in the next November and December, when tickets will be more difficult to get after the Yulong Snow Mountain enters the peak season.
4. Photography equipment: You can see snowy mountains in the Ancient City of Lijiang, Baisha Ancient Town and other places. If you have a mobile phone with a good zoom or telephoto lens, you can clearly capture the scenery of snowy mountains; in addition, Lijiang is a no-fly zone and requires a flight permit to take aerial photography. It is recommended that you not fly black and safety comes first.
From Xi'an to Lijiang, it only took 2 hours and 35 minutes to transform from a rainy ancient capital into a sunny city of flowers. The development of transportation has made our travel more and more convenient, and we can travel at any time. Come again. Lijiang Airport is about 40 minutes 'drive from the ancient city. It is relatively convenient to have buses from morning to night. However, the two of us carried two suitcases, so we booked the pick-up service online in advance. It turns out that the price of booking a car online after arriving at the airport is 20 yuan cheaper than booking a pick-up in advance. Embarrassing!
Moreover, the ancient city of Lijiang does not allow cars to enter, so when booking a hotel, it is best to check how far it is from the entrance of the ancient city. The luggage cannot be dragged on the bluestone slabs in the ancient city, so it is still difficult to carry it all the way.
This time, I mainly stayed in two places in Lijiang: Dayan Ancient City and Shuhe Ancient Town. Both stores are from the same brand,"Lijiang Inn Douhua Famous Inn". I saw photos of his home on Weibo before, and it was attracted by swimming pools and glass boats, Sky Realm and other supporting facilities. This time, I came specially to take beautiful photos. Pictures will be shown later and everyone will know how beautiful the inn in Lijiang is!
Traveling off-peak is the coolest way to travel. The peak of the National Day holiday just passed, and the entire Dayan Ancient City seemed particularly quiet. After storing their luggage at the hotel, the two of them began their journey through the ancient city; The general routine route is to walk around "Big Water Car-Wuyi Street-Sifang Street-Lion Rock", but I think the ancient city of Lijiang does not need any strategies and routes. You just need to remember the way back to the hotel. Walk along the large and small alleys in the ancient city. I believe that each alley has its own beautiful scenery waiting for you.
In the northeastern area of the ancient city of Lijiang, on Wenzhi Lane Road on Wuyi Street, there is a key protected dwelling house called "Fang Guoyu's Former Residence". As a rare former residence of celebrities in the ancient city, this place is also a good place for everyone to check in.
Fang Guoyu is a famous historian in my country. He was born of the Naxi people in Lijiang, Yunnan Province. He studied at Peking University in his early years and later returned to Yunnan to do work related to Dongba culture. He has in-depth research on the history of the Naxi people; his former residence covers an area of 1.98 acres, and there are a total of 72 rooms in the front and backyard. No tickets are required and free guided tours are available. It is very considerate ~
Taking photos is not allowed in the exhibition hall in the former residence, so I can only take a few photos from the courtyard and share them with everyone. The specific situation will have to be understood after you come. I can only say that you have gained a lot from listening and watching. The culture of the Lijiang region in Yunnan has also deepened its understanding.
Lijiang used to be different from what is now. I remember when I first came to Lijiang, the ancient city had not yet issued a policy prohibiting street singers from setting up stalls. Sifang Street was a very magical place at that time, and it can also be said to be the spiritual representative of Lijiang at that time. Many singers who looked down on life and went wandering would eventually come to Lijiang, and when they came to Lijiang, they would definitely go to Sifang Street to sing for a night. Some of them sang very emotionally, which made the audience around burst into tears; There are also people who sing like ghosts and wolves, but they can also receive applause. Later, this situation no longer happened in Lijiang. The singers were invited to the bar. They no longer sang in the open air but had good lighting and sound. It was an improvement for the singers, but for us It was a sad thing, because if we wanted to listen to music again, we would have to spend money ~
Now that I come back to Lijiang, I still advise everyone to go out for a walk at night, because not only is the night view of the ancient city becoming more and more beautiful, but the folk songs are also returning.
In Dayanhua Lane, which has the most beautiful night view, you can not only enjoy the most beautiful night view of the ancient city of Lijiang, but also hear the singing of many singers in the folk song square. Just like Lijiang back then, people gathered in a circle to listen to songs, chat, and scream. No one knew anyone but you could have a happy chat. After listening to the song, you can go to the observation deck to see the panoramic view of Lion Rock. It would be a pity for you to miss it on such a night.
Dayanhua Alley is also a good place to take photos and check in. Various reference objects allow you to take concave shapes to your heart's content. In addition, what photographers like most is the viewing platform on the second floor, which can face the Lion Rock. Panorama, it's very good to take photos at night.
When many people complain that Dayan Ancient City in Lijiang is too commercial, they don't know that there is an original "Baisha Ancient Town" about 10 kilometers north of the ancient city. Compared with Dayan Ancient City, which is crowded with tourists, the tranquility of Baisha Ancient Town will make you think you are in a small village isolated from the world. It's a pity to miss this place; Baisha Ancient Town is one of the cultural birthplaces of the Naxi people and the origin of the Mu's Tusi in Lijiang. It is said that before the Mu's family built the ancient city of Lijiang, it was the first Baisha Ancient Town to be built. It was precisely because the Tusi accumulated during the construction of Baisha Ancient Town. Rich experience can we plan the later Dayan Ancient City of Lijiang so perfectly.
When viewed from the air, the two do look a little similar in appearance, but if you walk into the ancient town, you will immediately feel the difference. If Lijiang is a hot dancer, then Baisha is the girl next door. She is quiet, restrained and shy. You need to walk in it and slowly experience it to discover its beauty.
Baisha Ancient Town is the ancient town with the most Naxi heritage in Lijiang and the most original Naxi ancient village. Its advantage is that it is not occupied by a large number of tourists. Nowadays, not only do you not see a few tourists when you come to Baisha, there are no shops on the street. On both sides of the cold and clear streets are sitting Naxi grandfathers basking in the sun, and chatting with Naxi aunts. Compared with the shouts of hawkers on the streets and the sound in bars in the ancient city of Lijiang, this place is indeed like a paradise.
Baisha Ancient Town also has another advantage that Dayan Ancient City cannot compare with, that is, the ancient town is basically inhabited by locals, while Dayan Ancient City is already completely filled with foreigners doing business. In addition to seeing the scenery, you can also go to Baisha Ancient Town to understand the life of the Naxi people, and I believe you will also have different gains.
I ran into a child coming home from school and strolling around the street with the dog at home. It was very lively ~
Transportation ticket: It costs about 40 yuan to take a taxi from Dayan Ancient City in Lijiang. If you take the bus, you need to transfer to the No. 6 bus halfway and get off at [Baisha Station] and walk 50 meters. The whole journey costs 2 yuan. You can see the snowy mountains in the distance when you get off the bus, but there is no snow in October, so it is not as beautiful as December ~
If Dayan Ancient City gives you the feeling that it is too commercial, and Baisha Ancient Town gives you the feeling of Taiyuan ecology, then coming to Shuhe Ancient Town is the best choice. This ancient town, which is located between Dayan and Baisha, is not fully commercialized as Lijiang, but it is more popular than Baisha. At least it has everything to eat, drink, accommodation, travel and play, but the consumption will not be too high and it will not be very noisy at night.
Shuhe Ancient Town, like Dayan, is a site that rose due to the ancient tea-horse road. Therefore, the most worthwhile place in the ancient town is the "Ancient Tea and Horse Road Museum". Here, you can see how the horse gangs transported tea from Yunnan. After walking the ancient horse road, you can also see the development history of the Naxi people and the rise of Yunnan tea culture. In short, this small attraction that does not charge tickets can get more historical and cultural gains than you can in Dayan Ancient City.
The architecture of Shuhe Ancient Town is no different from Dayan, and the layout of the streets is similar. Compared with the original ecological scenery of Baisha Ancient Town, Shuhe is actually very close to the appearance of Dayan Ancient City. It may not be long before this place becomes the next "Lijiang". However, some of the specialties and snacks sold on the streets of Shuhe Ancient Town are quite unique. For example, the snacks and souvenirs sold in Dayan Ancient City are basically the "Made in Yiwu" that everyone can see in all ancient towns. In Shuhe Ancient Town, there are unique handicrafts such as pine cones and tie-dyeing. It's not bad to buy some of them and give them back to others.
Another characteristic feature of Shuhe Ancient Town is that there are many animals. You can see a Wang Xing person within a few steps, haha!
The night in Shuhe Ancient Town was quiet early. At eight o'clock, there were almost no people. The empty streets only echoed by our own footsteps. To be honest, we still miss the excitement of Dayan Ancient City at this time. People are so contradictory.
The advantages of Shuhe River are the feeling of a Jiangnan water town. A small river flows through the edge of the ancient town. The water introduced gathers a large pond in the center of the ancient town. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants. It is also the busiest place in the entire Shuhe River during the day.
Suitable for living but not suitable for playing. This is my evaluation of the night view of Shuhe River ~
Yunnan is an inland area, so when you see a slightly larger lake, you call it a sea. Lashihai is located about 10 kilometers west of Lijiang to a wetland park, but it can also be said to be the most popular tourist attraction in Lijiang.
Lashihai used to be famous for riding, boating, fishing and barbecues, but it was also criticized for its sky-high price to slaughter customers and various routines. Therefore, in recent years, the local area has also used Lashihai as a typical example to rectify it. This time it happened to be the first time I came to Lashihai after the rectification ~
Nowadays, registering for the "Lashihai One-Day Tour" in the Ancient City of Lijiang is still the mainstream. The tour fee is 260 yuan per person, which includes "riding on the ancient tea-horse road + taking photos by the lake of Lashihai + watching flowers in Migratory Bird Bay + one meal". After paying the fee, the van will pick up people at the entrance of the ancient city, and then send them to the entrance of the scenic area to exchange for a riding license; Different from the previous sky-high prices, the prices of various projects in Lashihai are now open and transparent. What is the price you can see on the Internet and at the entrance of the scenic spot? After experiencing the whole process, this price will not be increased more. This can be said to be better than before. Too much.
Riding horses in Lashihai has become a must-check event in Lijiang, so even in such off-season seasons, the racecourse is still full of people waiting for riding horses. It takes about twenty minutes to walk from the racecourse to the lake halfway up the mountain. Several horses are tied together with ropes, and the first horse at the forefront is led by the groom. The whole journey is very smooth. Although the scenery along the way is not much interesting, the water at the end surprised everyone. The snowy mountains and melted water gathered here, crystal clear and cool.
The scenery along the way will make people feel very worth the trip ~
As mentioned earlier, in addition to horse riding, the price of 260 yuan also includes a round-trip shuttle fare to and from the lake, Migratory Bird Bay and the ancient city, as well as a local chicken hot pot. To be honest, the price is not expensive after calculation. But the only thing that made me feel a little deficient after the entire trip was: "The lakeside area still has not formed a unified management, and the behavior of dividing areas and governing them still exists."
To give a simple example: After we were pulled to the lake, there was only a small place provided for us to take photos. Some common check-in scenery in scenic spots were crowded into this small place. Tourists would queue up for a long time before they could take a photo., then can't we go to the area next door? I asked, but I really couldn't. It's the territory of other scenic spots. If I want to go in and take photos, I have to buy separate tickets. Look at the wide area along the lake. How many tickets would I have to buy if I played it all?
I would like to ask, what is the difference between this and the previous multiple tickets and scenic spots everywhere?
The same is true for Migratory Bird Bay, which is later visited. Some areas are designated in the scenic area for wedding photos in the photo studio. Tourists buy tickets and look at the open space but are not allowed to enter. These details actually make tourists feel inappropriate.
Therefore, Lashihai's rectification will inevitably achieve results, which we must recognize, but these details do still have shortcomings, and everyone can also see ~
Migratory Bird Bay is actually a huge flower bed. From the moment you enter the door, you can see all kinds of flowers blooming very vigorously. The scenic area also works hard to attract everyone to take photos. Various props and background boards are placed in the flower field, and you can find a good angle. Any photos are beautiful photos; after playing around, I found that this place is particularly popular among girls. After all, it is all a self-portrait and he can't stop taking photos.
[Lijiang Inn Douhua Famous Inn] is the inn I stayed at in Dayan Ancient City and Shuhe Ancient Town. His family has three stores in Lijiang, Dashuoshi Store, Dayan Ancient City Store and Shuhe Ancient Town Store. The price/performance ratio is very high. The key point is that travel is very convenient, and you don't have to drag your luggage and suffer on the stone road of the Ancient City of Lijiang. It was also said that the ancient city of Lijiang cannot be opened to traffic. If the hotel is a little further away, you will feel like you want to throw away your luggage in minutes.
It was a coincidence to know this store, because someone had come to live here before and posted photos on Weibo. When I was browsing, I happened to see that at first glance, he was attracted by his sky mirror glass balcony and glass boat floating swimming pool. To be honest, I had seen many inns in Lijiang before this, but I didn't find any with this appearance. After all, staying in a beautiful hotel will feel much better. This is why I strongly recommend this store to everyone. One of the reasons.
Among the three stores in Lijiang, the most beautiful one is Shuhe Store, and the most cost-effective one is Shuhe Store. Although the price of Shuhe Store is a bit more expensive on the surface, booking a room + itinerary but a package will not only get the price cheaper than online group purchase, but the key point is to send a free "Mirror of the Sky travel service with refined photos. This is very conscientious. After all, it costs hundreds of yuan to hire a photographer for a tour! The effect taken by the mirror of the sky is very good~
There is a large courtyard in the store with a swimming pool in the middle and a glass boat floating above it. This is also a good place to take photos. Many Internet celebrity photos can be taken here. The first impression when entering the store is very good. Whether it is this environment or the housekeeper's service, they are worthy of five-star praise. This traditional Naxi courtyard itself is also a good place to take photos and check in ~
Of course, the environment alone is not enough. After all, contemporary people also pay more attention to the quality of sleep when traveling; the inn rooms are made of raw wood, and the accommodation is very healthy without any odors. The design style is quite fashionable. It is decorated with raw wood but unlike some star-rated hotels. The beauty of Chinese elegance is undoubtedly evident, and the results are also beautiful.
Nowadays, many inns focus on decoration and let go of hardware, but in the end, what satisfies tourists is the comfort. Another advantage of this store is that the bed is super comfortable to sleep on, and the bedding is very soft, especially the quilt. After covering it, it feels particularly light and soft, and the quality of sleep at night is very good.
Another thing that deserves praise is the details in the room. Whether it's the small decorations on the desk or the placement of toiletries, my first impression is that it's easy to use. Of course, this shouldn't be a coincidence. I think it's the experience summarized by the hotel staff. I would like to say that the wireless Internet in the room is very powerful, playing games, watching movies, etc. without any interruption.
The viewing bathtub is a highlight in the room. When you open the curtains when you take a bath, you can see the distant green mountains. The bathtub has a platform for placing objects, which is very convenient for putting mobile phones and red wine.
Of course, I brought the red wine myself ~
The price of the trip booked by the hotel is more affordable than buying it online. I think the trip booked this time is very good, including door-to-door pickups and downs. Some distant scenic spots such as the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the Tiger Leaping Gorge are actually very troublesome if you don't buy a trip. After calculating, you will spend more money, which is completely unnecessary.
The breakfast at the "Wangshi Baozi Shop" here at the inn is very good. I come to eat it every day when I wake up. The steamed buns have thin skin and thick meat. It will leave the lips and teeth open with one bite. There are many varieties of pickles and have good taste. It is accompanied by a bowl of sweet potato porridge. The happiness burst for an instant.
You can search the name of this store on WB and check out the booking process.
A local friend recommended this "Yunxueli Restaurant (Ashun Store)". The first impression was that the decoration of the store was good. The first floor was lively and the second floor was quiet. There was a bougainvillea outside the window. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, you will feel better.
The dishes in the store are very rich. Mountain pepper chicken, secret snow mountain fish, and Pu 'er tea prawns are all delicious dishes, which make us two Sichuanese praise for eating them; and Matsutake mushroom steam pot chicken is even more excellent. It can be said that you can't eat it in other places.
What's more considerate is that the store also has a variety of Internet celebrity desserts such as fried pulp cakes, Sharpie dogs, yogurt cups, etc., which is very suitable for bringing girls!
As a gold medal merchant in reviews, the store has delicious dishes and good services. Its location is also on the golden section of the ancient city, but the average person is only about 100 yuan. It is indeed the most satisfying meal I have had in the past few days. I think this store is worth sharing with everyone.
Lijiang is a controversial city. People who like this city will think that Lijiang is a representative of literature and art. People who hate this place will think that Lijiang is a commercial Internet celebrity street with love, hate, praise and slander. Various news may confuse you about the city, but in my opinion: "Anyone's opinion can only be a suggestion and should not be your decision."
You still have to come and see it for yourself to understand how Lijiang is?
