Preface·Origin
One afternoon in March, I saw a photo of Dali posted by a friend. The blue and white sky and green vegetation were very intoxicating.
After the beginning of spring, I always wanted to go hiking and enjoy the spring. That kind of hope was like when I was a child, hoping that spring could fly kites when I was young. The cold dissipated, spring returned to the earth, and my heart melted into the place where I liked the sun.
Looking at the ticket casually, I found that the flight from Chengdu to Dali was only 400 yuan. I ruthlessly used up the living expenses I had saved, secretly slipped out of school for leave, and flew to the southern country where the spring was warm and the flowers were blooming.
Unexpectedly, half a year later, during the Double Ninth Festival, I accidentally went to Yunnan again and stayed in Lijiang for four days and three nights. This was to make up for the debt I owed during my last trip to Yunnan to Lijiang. Feel the warm autumn sun in Lijiang, laugh and laugh, the clouds are light and the wind is light.
When I was young, I had a dream in Yunnan. In the blink of an eye, I had mistakenly entered the dream and listened to folk songs to accompany me.
Haizi said: "Starting tomorrow, be a happy person, chop firewood and feed horses, and travel around the world." If you don't know where to start, come to Dali Lijiang first.
The best time is to go to the sun all the way on the road (trailer)
Waiting for you in Erhai Lake

The beauty of blue and white is hidden in the slow time of tie-dyeing
At this time, the people who have long loved are on the road

Time is quiet and peace
Go to your hometown in your dreams
1. Spring in Dali
Spring returns from the south, and everything begins.
Spring should have a sense of ceremony, bring people you like, and accidentally meet Dali, which is better than spring.
1.1 When I first met the ancient city, it rained and sunny
Dali is the first stop on the trip to Yunnan.
The plane was delayed for an hour or two, so I arrived in Dali a little late. In addition, it started to rain as soon as I arrived in Dali, so I felt a little confused. However, when I saw the ancient city of Dali, my heart suddenly cleared up.
So the first impression Dali gave me was that it was sunny and rainy, and there was still thunder and rain ahead, and in the blink of an eye, there were blue skies and white clouds.
The ancient city of Dali is a must-visit place. I have been to many ancient towns and ancient cities, but I still feel very comfortable here, perhaps because of the bright sunshine of Dali, or because of the light wind and clouds of Dali.
Although it is a scenic spot, the literary and artistic atmosphere here is unique to the ancient city. In the high walls on all sides, you can go shopping in a daze, pick flowers and wine, or stop somewhere to listen to songs.
You are no longer a passer-by.
The handmade shops, food stalls, bars or inconspicuous small shops scattered in the corners of the ancient city are all a sight.
At the foot of Cangshan Mountain, facing the Erhai Lake, flowers bloom in warm spring.
It won't be long before you find cherry blossoms in full bloom next to the street. Walking on the uneven stone slabs, your heart will become lighter.
If you are not satisfied with life, you might as well head west to Dali.
1.2 Cut a period of time and put your soul in place| Xizhou Ancient Town
In the north of the ancient city of Dali, there is an ancient town called "Xizhou". It is an ancient village where Bai people live on the coast of the Haixi River.
This name alone makes people yearn for it.
It retains the largest and most complete Bai residential building in the world, and it is also the "Miracle Happiness Island" written by Mr. Lao She.
Xizhou has beautiful mountains and rivers, and countless scenic spots and historic sites. In particular, the ancient town has a large number of Bai residential buildings with their own characteristics from the Ming, Qing, Republic of China to contemporary periods that are unique in the architectural history of China and even the world, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign tourists.
Walking into Xizhou is like walking into an ancient painting with ink-wash style. The blue bricks and white tiles hide the vicissitudes of Xizhou.
It has a history of thousands of years from Nanzhao State.
Walking through the long river of history, Xizhou stands quietly on the edge of the Erhai Lake with a calm and restrained appearance. In this land, you can find long-lost peace and tranquility.
The sun rises, the flowers bloom, and the time is leisurely.
There are joys and sorrows, laughter and tears, flowers and fruits, fragrance and color.
Walking in the streets and alleys of Xizhou, the sparse figures and the footsteps of puppets make you seem to be able to hear the heartbeat of this thousand-year-old town.
The market that I accidentally stumbled into in Xizhou suddenly became lively. The steaming steamed buns, fresh fruits, and a wide array of small commodities were particularly lively.
That day, our group bought fruit, passed by the rice fields, and ate while walking. Don't be so great!
The fields in Xizhou in spring are the same as the fields behind my home when I was a child. They are yellow and green, with neat rows of houses, irregular telephone poles, and occasionally passing birds. I really miss my childhood days.
Of course, when you come to Xizhou, you have to try Xizhou Baba. The one we went to even watched "A Bite of China".
Xizhou Baba is rich in fillings and has a crisp and fragrant skin. However, due to the development of tourism in recent years, the price has also risen from 5 yuan to 10 yuan or more.
After frying in oil, it will be roasted over charcoal for a while. It is very fragrant just after being roasted ~
If you like tranquility and leisure, then why not come to Xizhou to stay for two days, cut off a period of time, and put your soul in place.
1.3 Everyone has a martial arts dream| Tianlong Babu Film and Television City
Those who have read Jin Yong all have a Jianghu in their hearts! In that place far away from the lofty temple, there are stories of heroes who punish evil and promote good, gentle and intelligent women, and happy grudges... Classic martial arts novels hide the youth of generations.
The first martial arts TV series I watched was "Tianlong Babu". Later, I was addicted to the "Tianlong Babu" online game for a while and formed a deep relationship with "Tianlong Babu". For a long time, I wanted to come to Dali's Tianlong Babu Film and Television Base to have a look at the Tianlong Babu Film and Television Base to realize my martial arts dream when I was young.
There is a special bus direct from Dali Ancient City to Tianlong Babu Film and Television City, which is very convenient without taking a taxi.
This is the main gate of the film and television city. Turn left to the ticket office. On both sides of the city gate, there are 14 words "Flying snow shoots white deer in the sky, and laughing books and heroes lean on the green jade". Each word represents a book by Mr. Jin Yong,"The Legend of the Flying Fox","Flying Fox on the Snow Mountain","Liancheng Secret","Eight Parts of the Dragon","The Legend of the Condor Shooting Heroes"..." These are full of memories!
The entire Tianlong Babu Film and Television City consists of three major areas: the first part is Dali Kingdom, including Dali Street, Dali Palace, and Zhennan Palace; the second part is Liao Kingdom, including Liao City Gate and Small and Small Liao Streets; the third part is the Western Xia Palace and the Jurchen Tribe. You may not expect that this series of huge projects took only more than half a year from design to construction. Construction started in May 2002, and in December of the same year, the crew entered the film and television city to shoot as scheduled. This cannot be said to be a miracle!
As soon as you enter the door, people dressed in ancient costumes make "Duan Yu's favorite milk ice cream" again, which is very interesting.
Walking in, the scenes in the TV series can be vividly remembered, and time seems to have traveled back to the martial arts era.
Finally, he couldn't help but say: "Jianghu, here I come!"
"Hero, please go upstairs."
"Hero, please go upstairs."
Enter the gate and walk along the main street and you will see the gate of the royal palace-Desheng Gate. This is the center of the film and television city. There will also be many performances in this square, and you can also hang Wiya next to it.
In the film and television city, different performances will be held in different places and different time periods. In fact, the film and television city is not large, but because of the rich performance activities in it, it is worth the ticket price. At that time, there was a lion dance performance in Deshengmen.
I really want to experience the little brother who hangs Wiya next to me.
Immediately afterwards, the performance of arresting fugitives began. The actors popped up from nowhere, and they were a little "surprised".
What was interesting was that the good performance ended with a dance with a completely different style. The stereo played popular online songs. This contrast amused the audience, and finally came to the audience to dance the square dance with them. Hahaha!
Behind Desheng Gate is the Dali Palace. In addition to the resplendent splendor that can be seen at a glance, these buildings also carry a strong Dali local ethnic style and Buddhist characteristics.
Walking west from Xiaoliao Street next to it, there is a quiet path with a small stone bridge inside. Standing on it, you can overlook Dali. It is a small high point in the film and television city in addition to the tower.
If we continued along Xiaoliao Street, we would find the Xixia Palace and the Cangshan Horse Washing Cableway. But we didn't want to climb any more, so we turned right to Daliao Street. On the street, there were "Dao" and "Martial Arts Secret Notes" engraved with the Eight Parts of the Dragon "and" Zhenlong Chess Game ", which brought back many memories.
When we returned to Yong 'an Street while playing, there was a performance in Duanshi Cai Building. Everyone was watching, and we also came forward to join in the fun.
It turned out that Miss Duan was going to throw a ball ball to marry him, and Master Duan chose a husband for his little daughter.
The person who received the hydrangea, whether he was a single dog or someone who had a owner, would have to decide on the young lady. Now, the guard came to invite the "lucky man" to go upstairs to worship, and her wife was downstairs hahaha.
The handsome guy was invited up with a confused look on his face, full of comedy atmosphere.
In "Smiling in the Jianghu", Linghu Chong once said to Ren Woxing: "I want to quit the Jianghu and never ask about the Jianghu affairs from now on." Ren Woxing glanced at him and replied calmly: "How do you quit? Wherever there are people in this world, there are rivers and lakes."
Wearing clothes and angry horses, chasing the Jianghu without need for grudges or feelings.
1.4 Dream of returning to Nanzhao State and visiting Gongzi Duan| Lord Duan
When I dreamed of returning to Nanzhao State, I naturally wanted to visit Young Master Duan.
This "Gongzi Duan" is not the other "Gongzi Duan". This is the name of a restaurant. Isn't it very interesting?
Gongzi Duan went to a martial arts restaurant, which was very stylish and very popular in the ancient city of Dali. When we went there, we ordered the order two hours in advance and waited an hour or two. We had to be early to check in here!
The first day we went to the Tianlong Babu themed store. As soon as we entered, we could have a different feeling. It was full of ancient style. Personally, we felt that this feeling was unique to all restaurants in Dali.
Peach blossoms are burning, colorful umbrellas hang all over the roof, and at the corner of the escalator, there is a mural, a piano, and a pot of turbid wine, drinking for thousands of years.
Even the fans on the table are specially made, allowing you to personally experience the style of Dali Nanzhao Kingdom.
Duan's Hidden Dragon Jumping Water Fish is the signature dish here and requires the waiter to serve the fish personally. First, use hot pebbles to sneak into the bottom of the pot. With a "squeaking", the fog will spread everywhere, and after a while, the aroma will overflow. Pick up a white and tender fish, it's sour and refreshing! I still have not finished my thoughts.
Duan's glutinous rice ribs are also a very popular dish. The glutinous rice is crystal clear and very attractive. The ribs are soft and crispy, and the dipping water next to them is definitely delicious ~
It has both stir-fried dishes and hot pot. The dishes are very Dali and diverse. The taste is in line with the habits of most people and is very nice.
After eating, drink a pot of wine and feel slightly intoxicated in Dali.
Sure enough! I came here again the next day. It was really delicious. I went to another branch of Gongzi Duan-Dali Guguo Store.
The styles and tastes of the two houses are similar. If you also like Duan Gongzi and eat at one store but don't want to go to the same store, you can go to another store.
The memorial-style menu adds a touch of ancient flavor to the restaurant, like treatment that can only be enjoyed in the royal palace.
The last time I drank after dinner, but this time I drank before dinner, and I tried not to overlap the order I ordered before.
Without saying much, Fangtu felt it for himself. He ate so much that night, and then went to the ancient city for a stroll and went to sleep directly. He slept soundly.
Finally, a yogurt is perfect ~
A pot of turbid wine walks in the Jianghu, Dali Gongzi Duan, is also gentle.
1.5 A blue and white woven marble| Zhoucheng tie-dyed
There is the majestic Cangshan Mountain in the west and the clear Erhai Lake in the east. On the land of Dali, there is a beautiful village called Zhoucheng.
Zhoucheng is known as the "Hometown of Bai Tie-dyed" and is located next to the Dian-Tibet Highway 38 kilometers away from Xiaguan. It is the largest natural village in Dali.
Walking into Zhoucheng, tie-dye hangs all over the roadside walls. The blue-white rendered walls give the houses a unique temperament due to tie-dye.
There is always an atmosphere of dexterity and wisdom floating here. The sun shines into this village. Walking on the road, you will feel the heart-touching simplicity and thickness.
Dali's blue sky and white clouds set off against the blue and white wiring here, which is a kind of blue and white movement that haunts my heart.
Tie-dyeing is a traditional folk craft of the local Bai people since the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, integrating culture and art.
From little girls in their teens to old people over sixty years old, they can tie cloth. Those pieces of cloth are soaked in people's pure and simple hearts and are Zhoucheng's cultural business card.
We walked into a tie-dye shop to visit. The old lady dressed in Bai costumes was very enthusiastic and said that there were still more inside and we could go in and have a look.
The dyed cloth is bright in color and is said to never fade. The pattern is simple but elegant, because it is deeply loved by tourists.
Just visiting is not enough. You will definitely be tempted. You can buy or make a piece of clothing, cloth bags, etc. here. Take it back and use it or hang it up to decorate it and it will look very nice.
White flowers on a blue background, simple and natural.
It is elegant and unpretentious.
Everywhere seems to reveal the romance of Yunnan's romantic scenery.
A blue and white woven Dali, a mark of time.
1.6 Traveling to Dali is better than traveling to Dali for photography| white bus
Whether you have been to Dali or not, you must know that many people will choose to come to Dali to shoot.
But paying people to take pictures is too expensive, so it's better to take pictures yourself. What should I do if I can't take pictures well? It doesn't matter, there is a place where movies are super popular. As long as the weather is good, you can just take a photo and put a filter on it!
The white bus of Internet celebrities is of course the best choice. You can prepare costumes (small fresh ones) and props (balloons, hats, etc.) before coming.
Before coming to Yunnan, I liked this very much.
There are a few abandoned buses here, which are very felt on the open grass. If you put them there, they will be amazing enough!
This is a popular place for wedding photographers. Because there are many people taking wedding dresses, you may have to wait in line if you want to take photos on it alone. It will be much better in the off-season ~
The surroundings are very empty, so you can take photos here freely. Finally, I have to say that the weather in Dali is really good.
1.7 By the Butterfly Spring, singing is flowing| butterfly spring
My impression of Yunnan begins with "South of Colorful Clouds", and my impression of Butterfly Spring begins with the lyrics "Beside Butterfly Spring, singing is flowing."
Regarding the origin of Butterfly Spring, various explanations and magical and interesting stories are circulated among the people. One of the stories is:
Butterfly Spring was formerly known as Wudiitan. Near the pond live woodcutter Lao father Zhang and orphan daughter Wen Gu. Later, Gu Wen and Xialang met by chance. Since then, they often met by the bottomless pool. Gu Wen also gave her hundred butterflies embroidered with a hundred butterflies to Xialang as a token of love.
Unexpectedly, the King of Yu in Dali City had long been drooling over the beautiful Gu Wen. After his proposal was rejected, he took her away on the pretext of asking Gu Wen to go to the Imperial Palace of Yu to embroider hundreds of butterflies. Xialang came to the edge of the bottomless pool and saw Aunt Wen's letter. He first buried the old man, then he put on his back a bow and arrow, rode his horse and raised his sword and rushed to the King of Yu. Taking advantage of the dead of night, Xialang rescued Gu Wen. After the King of Yu discovered this, he hurriedly sent the general manager to lead his troops to pursue him.
Xialang was helpless that there were many pursuers and retreated to the edge of the bottomless pool. When there was no way to escape, Xia Lang and Wen hugged each other and jumped into the bottomless pool. Strangely enough, just as they jumped into the pool, the sunny day suddenly turned into lightning and thunder, and it started to rain heavily. After the rain, the sky became clear, and birds chirped and fragrant flowers were fragrant. A pair of large colorful butterflies flew out from the pool, and then another colorful butterfly flew out. Legend has it that they are created by the butterflies with hundreds of butterfly leaves brought close to Xia Lang and Wen Gu.
In memory of Xialang and Wengu, people not only changed the name of Wudi Lake to Huidiquan, but also went to the spring to pay their respects on the 15th day of the fourth month, when they jumped into the lake and died in love, remembering these strong and unyielding lovers. Couples and lovers also went to the spring to gather, sing, dance, and express their love on this day. Colorful butterflies from all directions also flew to the spring to meet on this day, making it one of the strange landscapes of Dali.
There are many folklore, but this is just one of them.
Xu Xiake described Butterfly Spring in his travels back then: "Half a mile, there are flowing springs gurgling, tracing westward, half a mile, reaching the foothills of the mountain. There are big huddle trees standing tall against the cliff. There is a spring under them, flowing out of the roots eastward, making it clear. A little east, there is another small tree and a small spring below it, also rinsing the roots out. Erquanhui is the abbot's swamp, which is the upper reaches of the river. The big tree on the spring blooms like a butterfly in early April, and its beard and wings are bright, just like a butterfly. There are also tens of millions of real butterflies, with beards and hooks on their feet. The tops of the trees hang upside down. When they reach the surface of the spring, they are colorful and colorful. Tourists all watch it from this month, and it will be over after May."
There are three faucets under the Butterfly Spring. Water is sprayed out from the dragon mouth. You can come here to wash your hands.
There is a saying that goes like this: "First wash wealth, second wash official fortune, and third wash peach fortune." Don't wash too much ~
Regrettably, in recent decades, it has been difficult for people to see beautiful butterfly festivals. Even if butterflies sometimes gather, the number is small. Nowadays, the surrounding natural environment has been damaged. Pesticides are used extensively in the fields and many butterflies have been accidentally injured. The spectacle of butterflies flying all over the sky has not been seen for a long time. Only by strengthening the protection of the natural environment and striving to maintain ecological balance can the charming butterfly event be restored and prosperous again.
1.8 Encounter the most beautiful museum| Dali Bai Museum
It was purely a coincidence that I came to the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Museum. When I was about to arrive in Dali, I originally searched for "Dali Museum", which was in the ancient city, but the map showed another Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Museum located in the urban area.
I happened to be passing through the city, so I discussed with my friends to go around. I didn't expect the museums to be so beautiful.
As soon as I came in, I felt the Bai people's architectural style. Its building materials and decoration techniques basically follow the requirements of Bai people's traditional crafts, highlighting the strong local ethnic style. The entire building complex is integrated and itself is a huge Bai architectural and artistic landscape.
The entire building complex is integrated and itself is a huge Bai architectural and artistic landscape.
The courtyards are connected by verandas. The courtyards are surrounded by green pines and green bamboos. The camellia and azaleas are beautiful, and the pools and rockery are interesting. They have strong national characteristics and local garden style.
Two new buildings are built in the museum on both sides of the front hall. The west building is the Dali General History Exhibition Hall and the east building is the temporary exhibition hall. Formed a permanent exhibition with the theme of fully displaying Dali's history and culture, focusing on the basic display of Nanzhao, Dali's history and culture and Bai culture, accompanied by bronze culture, ceramic art, Buddhist culture, marble art, Dali historical figures, and calligraphy and painting art.
The biggest gain here is that I finally understand the history and differences between Dali Kingdom and Nanzhao Kingdom.
At that time, there were six relatively powerful small countries in the Erhai region, known as the "Six Zhao". They are: Mengyu Edict, Yuexi Edict, Langqiong Edict, Lingyu Edict, Shilang Edict, and Mengshe Edict. Among them, the Mengshe Zhao is south of the Zhu Zhao, so it is called "Nanzhao". Later, Nanzhao compromised with the Tang Dynasty, and with the support of the Tang Dynasty, he successively destroyed the other Wuzhao and various departments in the Xierhe area, unified the Erhai area, and established the "Nanzhao State".
During the Tianfu period of Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty, Zheng Maisi, the Qingping official (prime minister) of Nanzhao State, launched a coup, destroyed Nanzhao and established the "Great Changhe State." This is 902 AD.
Later, in just a few decades, Dachanghe was replaced by Datian Xingguo, Datian Xingguo was replaced by Dayi Ningguo, and Dayi Ningguo was finally replaced by Dali State.
This is the origin and origin of Dali and Nanzhao States.
Some people say that understanding the past and present of a place starts in museums. A museum is a materialized history of development. People talk through cultural relics and history, pass through the barriers of time and space, and overlook the ups and downs of history.
◆ Dali Summary
Dali is a place where no matter how many times you walk there, you will always make new discoveries; no matter how many times you visit, you will feel different.
Dali in spring was the beginning of my trip to Yunnan, and in the next few months, by chance, I came to Dali for the third time. Every time, I still feel that Dali's brightness and light breeze make people yearn for it.
Stroll through the bluestone slabs of the ancient city,
Boat on Erhai Lake and listen to the songs of the Bai family.
I was awakened by Erhai Lake at the sunrise in the morning.
Life in Xizhou will be far away from chaos.
The old days of tie-dyeing in Zhoucheng,
Beautiful scenery of the majestic Cangshan Mountain.
Dream a sweet dream next to Butterfly Spring,
Become a knight in the Eight Departments of the Dragon Dragon.
Spring in Dali is endless,
The story of Erhai Lake is endless.
2. Autumn in Lijiang
In everyone's youth, there is a longing for travel
I know, Lijiang is your dream for a long time
Many people say that Lijiang is already a place full of commercial atmosphere
Over time, you have become less fond of Lijiang
Is Lijiang worth visiting?
Then come with me to see what Lijiang should look like
2.1 Days and nights in the ancient city, noisy and quiet
In the tipsy morning light, the ancient city is quiet, with gentle steps and light time.
In the morning, the ancient city of Lijiang completely got rid of the impression it left with a lively crowd.
At this time, it's better to face the sun, find an alley to crawl in, and eat a bowl of steaming Yunnan rice noodles deep in the alley.
I always feel that the alley is suitable for one to stroll slowly. Looking at the newly opened store, people who occasionally travel on the street, or even a cat.
The ancient city in the morning is particularly suitable for being in a daze, finding a quiet coffee shop and slowing down your thoughts.
It is said that Lijiang is the capital of romantic encounters. I think this romantic encounter is from meeting the sunshine of Lijiang, meeting Lijiang's life, meeting Lijiang's purity in the morning and the excitement of the night.
It is not as good as meeting a person to have sex with a place, because people will leave, but that place will always be there.
Wait until sunset, the sky becomes very beautiful, and with the clouds, we return to the center of the ancient city.
At night, when the lights are first on, the ancient city is most lively. The night with stories makes the streets crowded with people. Tourists from all directions want to experience the bustling streets and alleys of the ancient city.
No matter where you go, the singing and drums will never stop. This is the "South of Colorful Clouds" you have been waiting for.
Beautiful Lijiang, people are on the road.
There are also river lanterns sellers inside, which reminds me of the scene of river lanterns being put on in ancient times and expresses the good wishes in people's hearts.
Good night, Lijiang.
2.2 Overlooking the panoramic view of the ancient city and watching a light cloud and light wind
If you want to see the entire ancient city when you come to Lijiang, Lion Mountain is the first choice.
Walking up the mountain from the city, you will pass many restaurants and bars built on the mountainside along the way. Although you can also overlook the ancient city there, it is not as shocking and open as you can see on the top of the mountain.
You can scan the code to buy tickets at the door, and you can buy a few yuan cheaper by binding a bank card. Lion Rock is generally not big and you can visit it in an hour.
There is a viewing deck on the left side of the door. The sun shines through the clouds on the opposite mountain very beautiful, but don't worry, the better ones are still behind.
When I went there, I saw several foreigners. I think Yunnan must be a paradise in the eyes of foreigners.
You can see many of these tall trees inside. There are more than 30 ancient cypresses in Lion Mountain, planted by Mufu Tusi. The forests are all over 400 years old. Some were planted in the early Ming Dynasty and are more than 500 years old.
Walking up from the observation deck for a few minutes, you will reach Wangulou, the tallest building in Lion Rock.
Wangu Tower is interpreted as a thousand-year-old Wandai Tower in Dongba script. It is called Wengu Wheel in Naxi, which means that you can view freely from the commanding heights. Because of its harmony, it is named Wangu Tower.
Thousands of people mean overlooking the ancient city of Lijiang and its pastoral scenery, looking at the Yulong Snow Mountain and the ten-year-old glacier. It also means that Lijiang will restore and rebuild its home, which will last forever and be immortal.
The plan of Wangu Tower is square, and four pairs of stone lions of different shapes are placed at the entrances on all sides.
It is a tower-style all-wood structure building with five eaves, 33 meters high and 16 main columns, all of which are connected to the sky pillars. It is the first floor of an all-wood structure building in China with one column connected to the roof.
There are many colorful patterns in the building, and it is said that there are 10,000 dragons carved inside, expressing the beautiful wishes of people.
The glass window in the middle of the viewing window on each floor of Wangu Building is open for tourists to watch and take photos.
The top floor of Wangu Tower is the best point to overlook the ancient city. It is very beautiful to see all the scenery at a glance.
The ancient city of Lijiang is huge, and only here can we fully appreciate its grandeur.
This was taken behind Wangu Tower, integrating Lion Rock with the ancient city. Many photography enthusiasts also like to take it here to take photos.
The closing time in the afternoon is at 6:30, and basically no one is allowed in at 6:00, so friends who want to go to Lion Mountain should pay attention to the time ~
2.3 The four most beautiful streets and alleys in the ancient city (exclusive)
I have been to Lijiang twice, but I have already traveled all the roads in the ancient city. Some roads have walked back and forth three or four times. In the process of traveling all over the ancient city, I also discovered several of the most beautiful streets and alleys that I want to share with you.
This part is exclusive. Except for the last one, I chose all the names myself to make it easier for the image ~
① "Paper Umbrella Street"
This street is probably the most popular street in the ancient city. The official name is Guangyi Street Xianwen Lane. Looking up, you can see oil-paper umbrellas in the sky, just like walking into poetry and painting.
② "Lantern Street"
Lantern Street, as the name suggests, is full of lanterns. In an alley next to Wuyi Street, it seems to be Zhenxing Lane.
③ "Hulu Street"
This street was found by mistake. It is on the north side of the ancient city. I forget its specific name. Anyway, it is close to the road, and the bell blowing in the wind is very pleasant ~
④ Dayanhua Lane
One of my favorite places in the ancient city is Dayanhua Lane. Here, you can be a person who is not influenced by time.
2.4 Meet the Prince of Western Yunnan and take your dreams back to Lijiang
In Lijiang, are there any delicious food that you will never forget?
As a Chengdu native who is picky about food,"Prince of Western Yunnan" satisfies my imagination of Yunnan cuisine. The name tells me that it has a Yunnan flavor.
Using Lijiang Tusi as the background, the Prince of Western Yunnan tells the story of the rise and fall of Mufu, chasing the caravan team that has traveled thousands of miles, and listening to the Mosuo customs on the banks of Lugu Lake. He mainly focuses on Naxi cuisine, supplemented by Yunnan specialties, and takes you to experience the customs of the Song and Yuan Dynasties and Dongba characteristics.
A local friend recommended this place and the reviews were good, so I came to give it a try and truly recommend it ~
In the ancient city of Lijiang, there are two stores in Prince Yunnan. We went to Prince Yunnan Menghui Lijiang first and thought it was so delicious. The next night, we checked in to Prince Yunnan National Specialty Store. Haha, next time we go to Lijiang I have to eat it again.
The simple appearance has a unique world after entering it. The environment is very good, clean and tidy, and incorporates the local architectural characteristics, giving people a refreshing feeling.
The waiters were all dressed in local costumes and were very warm to welcome us. We had a very good impression.
Roasted beef tenderloin wrapped in banana leaves is my favorite dish. It is wrapped in banana leaves and looks very Yunnan. It looks average outside, but it tastes very delicious. The beef is soft and tender, the taste is comfortable, and the soup is fragrant and mellow. It must order!
This secret pork ribs is a signature and famous dish in Lijiang. His family is different from other families. It is stir-fried and very fragrant. He is a good player in adding wine to satisfy his cravings.
Dai flavor mini pilaf has a very high appearance. I am attracted by its appearance and will give you plastic gloves to grab and eat it. Friends who can't eat spicy food should be careful because there are pickled peppers in it.
The name of "I'm a little watery poplar flower" is very special. It is a local green vegetable. It is light and the soup is very fresh.
My friends and I like to eat wild mushrooms in Lugu Lake. Because we don't have time to go to Lugu Lake, we have to order this dish. Hahaha, the mushrooms feel very fresh ~
In Western Yunnan, while enjoying the visual feast, he also received great satisfaction from his taste buds. When he was slightly intoxicated, he dreamed of returning to Lijiang, from Yulong Snow Mountain to Lugu Lake, from Mufu to Dashuichu...
2.5 The "local" experience in Zhongyi Market
The vegetable market hides the most authentic appearance of the city. If you want to understand a city, it is better to visit the vegetable market first.
Zhongyi Market is the place with the most fireworks smell in the ancient city of Lijiang. The rhythm and life of the entire city are displayed here without pretence.
Some people say that when you lose confidence in life and feel confused, you should go to the vegetable market to have a look. Because there are people who love life, it can always bring you hope here.
Wang Zengqi once said: "When I arrive in a new place, some people love to shop in department stores and others love to shop in bookstores. I would rather go to the vegetable market. Looking at raw chickens and ducks, fresh melons and vegetables, and red peppers. It's lively and crowded, making people feel a joy in life."
The more chaotic it means the atmosphere of life, and the more crowded it means the more popular it means the local people.
The "steaming heat" of life is nowhere else but here.
2.6 Stroll in Shuhe River and experience the pure Naxi customs
Compared with the ancient city of Lijiang, Shuhe River is a little less noisy and more tranquil.
Shuhe Ancient Town now collects tickets and can be purchased at the entrance. If you have forgotten to bring your student ID card like me, it is equally effective to log in to the academic administration system to check information and show it to the staff.
Shuhe was one of the earliest settlements of Naxi ancestors in Lijiang Bazi, and it is also an important well-preserved market town on the ancient tea-horse road.
The sound of hooves, where will you go?
This should be the place where the river is most tied, with the beauty of Jiangnan.
A sign on the roadside successfully caught my attention. It was so interesting, haha!
There will be a performance in the "Sifang Listening" in the ancient town, and you can watch it according to the time. In addition, you can also take a free sightseeing bus from Sifang Street and return to Sifang to listen to music with the scenic spot ticket.
The Tea Horse Ancient Road Museum is an integral part of the "Shuheyuan" building complex of Mu's Tusi in the Ming Dynasty. It has six murals inside. Like Baisha murals, it is the only remaining model of Ming Dynasty murals in Yunnan and is listed as a provincial cultural relic. The surrounding buildings are the teaching buildings of Shuhe Primary School during the Republic of China. They are now completely protected and are an important place for tourists to understand the history and culture of the Ancient Tea Horse Road.
The museum can be visited for free with tickets to Shuhe Scenic Area, and there are free explanations inside. If you are not on your way, you can visit it.
It turns out that in addition to the Ancient City of Lijiang, Shuhe also has a "Paper Umbrella Street", which can be seen by entering the entrance of the Tea Horse Ancient Road Museum.
The museum is divided into five exhibition areas: Preface Hall, Murals Exhibition Hall, Historical Events Hall 1, Historical Events Hall 2, Shuhe Living Hall, and Shuhe Cobbler Hall. It shows visitors the region's long history and culture.
The ancient tea-horse road originated from the ancient tea-horse exchange in the southwest border. It flourished in the Tang and Song Dynasties, flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was most prosperous in the middle and late stages of World War II. The Ancient Tea Horse Road is divided into Sichuan-Tibet and Dian-Tibet, connecting Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibet, extending into, Sikkim, Nepal, and India, and reaching the Red Sea coasts of West Asia and West Africa.
The Dian-Tibet Tea Horse Ancient Road was formed in the late sixth century AD. It starts from Simao and Pu 'er, the main tea producing areas in Yunnan, in the south, passes through today's Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Lijiang Prefecture, Shangri-La, and enters Xizang, and reaches Lhasa directly. Some also re-exported India and Nepal from Xizang, which was an important trade channel between ancient China and South Asia. Pu 'er is a unique and advantageous cargo producing area and transit distribution center on the ancient tea-horse road, and has a long history.
On the way to Jiuding Longtan, you will see these three wells next to each other, called "Sanyan Wells".
It is actually a reflection of the ancient local water-saving method, using the flow of water to form three wells side by side from top to bottom. The leftmost side of the three wells serves as the source of spring water and can be used as drinking water, the middle is used to wash vegetables, and the rightmost side is used to wash clothes.
In the north of the ancient town, there is a beautiful pool water-Jiuding Longtan.
Jiuding Longquan Mountain lies in the west and Qinglong River in the east. It is two semicircular small stone ponds with one top and the bottom. There is a pavilion built between the two ponds, which is the best place to view the "Jiuding Longtan". The water in Jiuding Longtan comes from the stone gaps at the foot of Longquan Mountain. The water in the pool is not deep, but it is not muddy in summer and shallow in winter. Generally clear running water overflows from the stone gaps and nourishes the ancient town forever.
The blue, green and green pool water is very dreamy and beautiful.
Strolling through the ancient town trails, you can see Naxi houses everywhere in a scattered manner, and the well-protected ancient roads, markets, and water systems can always make people feel a strong cultural atmosphere.
The stone roads on the street, which were smooth and smooth by people, seem to still reflect the prosperity of the past.
To be honest, I still envy the dogs here. The warm sunshine makes it very comfortable to sleep on the ground. The slow pace of the entire ancient town makes people very relaxed.
Shuhe, we will see you next time.
2.7 Travel through time and meet Lijiang 20 years ago in Baisha
Baisha is the least well-known ancient town of Lijiang's three ancient towns (the other two are Dayan Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town). It is an ancient town located next to the Yulong Snow Mountain.
There is no strong commercial atmosphere here at all. It is an "ancient town" in the true sense. It was once the capital of the ancient kingdom of Naxi and listed as a world cultural heritage.
You can look up from the ancient town and see the Yulong Snow Mountain in the distance. The white clouds wrap around the mountains, making the scenery picturesque.
After staying in a lively place for a long time, I always like this original and quiet place.
If you want to relax completely, you can stay in the ancient town for a few days. The large countryside, simple villages, and close proximity to the snowy mountains are enough to allow you to relax physically and mentally and peacefully.
The first thing to see here is the "Baisha Murals", which is a famous attraction in the ancient town of Baisha. The theme of the "Baisha Murals" has a fusion of various sects, and the drawing techniques also use multi-ethnic methods. From the early Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, it lasted for more than 300 years and has 55 murals in existence.
Because of the limited time I came here, I didn't visit the ancient town if I wanted to stroll more. If I had enough time, it was still worth visiting, and the tickets were not expensive.
There are many tie-dye shops in the ancient town. These brightly colored fabrics add some vitality to this grey-blue ancient town.
The floor paved with stone slabs, the green bricks and black tiles and mahogany houses, and the locust trees on the roadside are childhood memories, and there is a feeling of déjà vu.
The old couple in the camera were whom we met on the train. We were both in a private room on the train. They and their son came to Yunnan from Northeast China to play. The old lady recognized me on Sifang Street and greeted me. I didn't react immediately and realized later. What a coincidence.
The old lady looks like Song Dandan in terms of appearance and accent. Personally, she thinks the tone of speech in Northeast China is quite funny. We chatted for a while before saying goodbye.
It was so good to see them traveling hand in hand!
The dogs here are so cute that I can't help but take a group photo.
There is only a long time to come, take the warm afternoon sun and make a cup of coffee.
2.8 Colorful Yunnan, nine-colored roses
Going to Nine-Colored Rose Town was a complete accident. I returned to the airport from the Ancient City of Lijiang that morning. The flight was past twelve noon, but the morning's time could not be wasted, so I checked if there were any places to go on the way to the airport. I wanted to have fun like this and go back to the airport on the way.
Then we saw Nine-Colored Rose Town, which was quite close to the airport, but it was inconvenient to get there by public transportation. Then we found a master to take us there and sent us back to the airport after playing.
According to the master, this place used to collect tickets. At that time, there were still rose gardens in the town. However, due to poor management, fewer and fewer tourists came to visit, so no tickets were collected. Even so, now there are not many people coming.
In fact, Rose Town was originally a gathering place of ethnic minorities. In order to develop the local economy, the developers painted the walls of the town in color. Coupled with the beautiful environment, it was filled with roses.
Although it is not very recommended (the services and facilities are not perfect, and there is nothing recommended for delicious food. In order to deceive you about the actual situation without taking photos, haha, it is only suitable for a short stay. As for whether it is worth checking your personal situation), the town is still very beautiful in terms of scenery. You can climb the mountains behind the town and overlook the entire colorful town.
Walking on the street at that time, I met a group of enthusiasts playing aerial photography in the alley. Aerial photography here would be even more beautiful.
The colorful houses feel unreal after looking at them for a long time, like scenes inside a painting.
Most of the locals wear local ethnic costumes, and you will often see local women walking on the street.
There are also many 3D murals during the period, bringing the slightly boring village to life.
Generally speaking, this is a place that doesn't matter whether you go or not, but its existence better confirms the "Colorful Yunnan".
■ Lijiang Summary
Lijiang may have become overly popular and commercialized in the eyes of many people. Many travelers who pay attention to their travel experience and are "picky" will use Lijiang as a transit point, preferring to Xianggelali, Lugu Lake and other places.
But after staying in Lijiang for some time, Jingxin will find that it is not as boring as imagined, but just requires a relatively relaxed state of mind.
There is never a lack of life, but I always feel that life should be somewhere else, and life in Lijiang is there somewhere else.

- Dali and Lijiang travel precautions
1. The temperature difference in Dali and Lijiang is very large, so if you go, the clothes you need to prepare are not only summer clothes, but also a coat.
2. Dali and Lijiang belong to the plateau area, so the ultraviolet rays are still very strong. To put it bluntly, the sun is very close, so we must pay attention to sun protection.
3. If you go there to play, you should pay attention to buying an umbrella. It often rains in Dali.
5. The terrain is relatively complex, so don't wear uncomfortable shoes, and never wear high heels.
7. There are still many local ethnic minorities, and local folk customs must be respected.
8. Dali's greening is very good. If you go out to play, you will be bitten by insects and the like, so you must prepare medicine.
9. What should I bring when traveling to Lijiang, Dali?
Backpacks, casual flat shoes, trousers, jackets, sunscreen and spray, lipstick, sunglasses, hats, battery packs, regular medicines, certificates, etc...
The most important thing is to bring your good mood!
10. What is the weather like in Lijiang, Dali? What should I do if the weather forecast shows that there will always be rain?
Dali Lijiang is located on the plateau and has a pleasant climate, but the temperature difference between morning and evening is large. Spring is sunny and the climate is moderate, often between 15 and 25 degrees. In summer, rain is concentrated and the temperature is high, but it will not exceed 30 degrees. Autumn is superfluous, and it is slightly cooler in the morning and evening, but it does not feel cold. Winter is relatively dry, colder in the morning and evening, and it is very comfortable to have sunshine.
If you come and see that the weather forecast is always raining, don't worry. It usually won't rain for too long and it will clear up again in a while. It may also be that there is rain in a certain place or county, so it has little impact on travel.
