I don't know when I started having a Yunnan complex, but it probably started with the famous accompanying gift-Jiahua Flower Cake. I planned to use up my annual leave during the National Day holiday, and an idea came to my mind: Go to the South of Caiyun for a walk. After checking the flights from Shanghai to Lijiang, Dali, and Kunming, and the train schedules from Lijiang and Dali to Kunming, and then referring to Mafowo and Ctrip's recommendations for Yunnan strategies, I sorted out the rough draft of the itinerary.
Seven years ago, you and I first met and learned about the mysterious and peaceful world of Lugu Lake from your book. When listening to you share your experiences, you highly recommended Lugu Lake to me, and you have always listed it at the top of the list to check in. Now I go to the south of the colorful clouds alone to follow the footsteps you walked in those years. Maybe there is such a parallel space-time, and we will meet again at a certain intersection.

Overall feeling of the trip to Yunnan:
1. The sun in the plateau area is really good.I looked at the weather forecast before going there, and the weather might not be too good. It turned out that it was a big mistake. Among the seven days, only one day in Kunming was cloudy, and the other days were accompanied by sunshine. In retrospect, the one who got the most suntan was when I was riding a pig trough boat in Lugu Lake. So when I came back, the first thing I said when I met anyone was,"Why are you so tanned?"
2. I developed a hobby called feeding seagulls.Around the end of October, groups of red-billed gulls from Siberia will come to various parts of Yunnan to inhabit the winter. Therefore, flying white angels can be seen everywhere in Lugu Lake, Cuihu Park, Dianchi Lake and other places. As long as you prepare some dried fish or bread, you can enjoy the unique taste of this season.
3. Accommodation options in Lugu Lake still depend on personal preferences. If you prefer lively or convenient dining, you can choose Daluoshui Village, which has more group guests. For those like me who yearn for tranquility and nature, I recommend the Rigg Peninsula. Also standing at Rig Wharf and Dashuasu Wharf at 2 p.m., the scenery in front of you brings you completely different moods and feelings.
4. If you want to travel by shared bicycles, you still need to try your luck.Lijiang only has blue Haro bicycles, but no Mobai. I wanted to rent an electric donkey in Lugu Lake to travel freely around the lake. As a result, I was splashed with a basin of cold water. I only saw a few tourists riding motorcycles around the lake on the roadside. Later, it was discovered that motorcycle resources were basically concentrated in Dashuoshui (Yunnan) and Libai Lovers Beach (Sichuan), which have the largest number of tourists. As the provincial capital city, Kunming still has a complete range of shared bicycles, so you ride a lot.
Day1 (Wednesday, 11/13) Lijiang Sanyi Airport-Lijiang Ancient City-Dashuichui-Sifang Street-Mufu-Lion Mountain-Apola Ribs-Zhongyi Market-Dayanhua Alley-Lijiang Ancient City Observation Deck
I got up early and went out to catch the No. 8 bus to start this long-awaited healing journey. Accompanied by this China Eastern Airlines Yunnan flight with phoenix painting, it successfully arrived at Lijiang Sanyi Airport after flying among blue skies and white clouds for more than three hours. As soon as I got off the plane, I saw the familiar advertisement. Haha ~~ I felt so happy in my heart. Take the airport bus for about 50 minutes and arrive at the terminal Blue Sky Hotel. After a brief rest, walk to Lijiang Ancient City.
Follow the navigation all the way to the north gate of the ancient city, and encounter the familiar brand again ~ Next to it is the famous ancient city landmark-the big water wheel. Stop in front of the Dongba Wishing Wind Chimes and feel the crisp ringing bells swaying in the wind. Speaking of Yunnan, I have the impression that people here can sing and dance well. Sure enough, the cheerful dances of Naxi people can be seen everywhere in the Sifang Street Square in the afternoon. Through the official gate is Mufu, also known as the Lijiang Ancient City Museum. I secretly took advantage of the explanation service provided by the guide lady to a tour group, and I gained a deep understanding of the history of the Tusi behind the Mufu. The end of the explanation service is the highest point in Mufu-Sanqing Hall, where you can climb up and have a panoramic view of Mufu and the area around the ancient city. After the end, one person continued up the ramp to the highest point of the ancient city of Lijiang-Wangu Tower in Lion Mountain. Hello, Lijiang Ancient City. Relax your body and mind and let the time pass slowly. The plan was to go to Lion Rock to enjoy the sunset in the evening, but it came early and had to give up.
It was almost meal time, and I hadn't had lunch, so I searched DP and started looking for the popular store-Apo's pork ribs. I have to say that the house number of the ancient city of Lijiang is really jumping. It is obviously infinitely close, but I can't find it. After asking for a long time, I finally found the sign of this store at the corner halfway up the mountain. Seeing that everyone else was eating in twos and threes, I was a little out of place, and the waiter also showed a sense of embarrassment ~~ According to the recommendation, I ordered a portion of preserved pork ribs hot pot, Dongba wild vegetables and Lijiang cake. The waiter looked at me alone. I also gave a pig's trotters, which was obviously more than my pork ribs. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish it, but it turned out that the taste was really tempting. I was hungry, but I actually ate it all... Pack the rest of the cake for tomorrow's breakfast. By the time I paid for the bill and left, there was already a queue at the door. The popularity of this store is indeed no exaggeration. At night, the other side of the ancient city reveals itself and begins to be full of excitement. People on Sifang Street continued to dance their unique folk dances around the bonfire, and the singing of resident singers also came from various bars. Comments in the circle of friends also began to complain about whether I came to Lijiang to find an affair, o(□)o
For some reason, I walked back to Mufu and happened to bump into the night light show. It lasts about 5 minutes and takes you back to the dream space of that era through projection. The itinerary says Zhongyi Market, which was originally thought to be a special market selling souvenirs. Later, when I found it, I discovered that it was just a vegetable market in the ancient city, and it was already empty at this moment. Just now, I remembered seeing Dayanhua Lane on the map, so I followed the navigation and continued to shuttle through the stone steps of the ancient city. In the evening, there are also stalls selling lotus lanterns for praying and making wishes. At the end of Dayanhua Lane, walk down the steps to the Lijiang Ancient City Observation Platform. Listening to the sad melody of the singer in the bar downstairs and looking at the faint night view of the ancient city in front of me, I began to miss the person in the distance again.
Day2 (11/14, Thursday) Eighteen Bends of Lining-Lugu Lake Observation Deck-Dashuoshui-Lovers Beach-Ligg Island-Ligg Wharf-Pig trough boat-Ligg Observation Deck
After checking out early, I went to the entrance of Zhoufang Parking Lot in the North Gate of the Ancient City of Lijiang at 7:15 as scheduled to wait for the minibus to Lugu Lake. I also looked forward to the scenery of the ancient city at sunrise. Take a minibus and wind all the way through the Lining Eighteen Blows among the green mountains and clear waters. There will be a stop in the middle to allow tourists to appreciate the emerald rivers of the Jinsha River. At noon, we finally arrived at the Mosuo world of this mysterious daughter country that we had been longing for a long time. At the Lugu Lake Observation Deck, when the panoramic view of blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and clear waters came into view, I felt relieved. Various pig-trough boats carrying tourists drew ripples on the mirror-like lake. I just want to say to the TA in the distance that one day I will really fulfill that promise.
Arriving at Daluoshui Village, the driver, Master Hu, nicknamed "Zeng Zhiwei", asked me to change the minibus to Ligg Island. When passing by Valentine's Beach, the driver asked us to come down and have a close contact with the clear water of Lugu Lake. At 1:30 in the afternoon, I finally arrived at Rigg Island, where I chose to stay for this trip. Compared with the previous Daluoshui Village, as the online guide said, there are many fewer tourists and more tranquility and nature. I called the hotel owner and learned that I had a suitcase, so I enthusiastically drove out to pick me up. After eating a bowl of rice noodles, I sat alone by the lake basking in the sun, staring blankly, looking at the pig trough boats, listening to the noise of seagulls, and the afternoon time was as beautiful as I expected.
On the way to Lugu Lake, I met many tourists who were also here to relax, and they were fated to ride with the car or boat with the fated to. Before coming here, I heard that I must experience the local characteristic pig trough boat. So I just happened to compete with a family of three from Hunan on the same boat. Caring people used fish food to attract seagulls to follow them all the way, so I casually took a few photos and a few videos to record this wonderful time. During the trip, the male owner shared that it was not his first time to come to Lugu Lake. He had just been here in April and lived in the lake view house on the Ligg Peninsula. This time he brought his wife and daughter here to relax. The family of three rented a car from Lijiang and drove around the lake in the morning.
When I came here, I asked Master Hu where the best place to watch the sunset and sunrise on Rigg Island, and he recommended Rigg Observation Deck. In the evening, I walked up the steps and climbed up the observation deck. A familiar scene suddenly appeared in front of you. Yes, 90% of the online promotional photos about Lugu Lake were taken from this perspective. The Ligg Peninsula, along with Ligg Bay, represents the most charming side of Lugu Lake. When the sun sets, I return to the village and continue to search DP for a popular restaurant-Tashi's Home on Rigg Island. Other specialties of his family are barbecue, but I still ordered a pot of Lugu Lake fish soup alone. The fish is very tender, tastes good, and goes well with rice.
Day3 (11/15, Friday) Dashuoshui-Puluo Wharf-Zhuchao Boat-Wangfei Island-Dear Inn-Caohai-Walking Wedding Bridge-Dashushui Wharf-Lovers Beach-Lige Observation Deck-Xiaoluoshui-Libai Lovers Beach-Xiaoluoshui Majia Courtyard
I got up early at 6:30 to enjoy the sunrise. As a result, the mountains were shrouded in fog and the cold wind was biting. There was only a full moon in the sky and seagulls flying by in twos and threes. After breakfast, we went to the Ligg parking lot as scheduled to wait for the car arranged by Master Hu to meet him in the water. I met the couple from Xi'an again, preparing to return to Lijiang. Talk casually with my brother on the way. "Did you come alone?" "Well, I'm here alone to relax." "Is it because you are broken?" "Haha, why are your instincts so accurate?" "At our age, we may have a lot of emotional matters. Let's go. After a while, we will gradually get rid of it." "I came to Lugu Lake because EX and her friends came here and recommended it." "Haha, so you're here to repeat the path she took back then." "Where are you going next?" "We are going to Shangri-La. Have you been to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain?" "Not yet. No one dares to go." "I definitely recommend you try it. It will give you a completely different feeling." "Many friends around me have been there and recommend it too. But I have asthma, so I dare not climb alone. What if... If you have the opportunity to find a partner in the future, it will help you take care of you." "Well, I must go." "Do you also take annual leave to travel and relax?" "We don't have jobs now and are relatively free. This time, the plan came out for about 15 days. I had already been playing around the Erhai Lake in Dali for a few days before." "Do you travel often?" "Well, we prefer hiking. We have been to Mount Everest and once walked ten kilometers in the desert together. Go out and take a look more while you are young." In fact, when I was chatting with my brother, an idea suddenly flashed through my mind. When I came back, I wanted to resign and continue wandering like them.
Because no electric donkeys were rented, Lugu Lake, which spans Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, can only travel around the lake by vehicles and boats. Got on Master Hu's minibus again and followed the group of fated people to Puluo Wharf to continue to experience pig trough boats. I accidentally discovered that a piece of bread that I had prepared as a snack could feed seagulls for so long. If you eat it yourself, you may finish it in more than ten seconds. Only then did I feel that the width of time had been infinitely extended by feeding the seagulls. After returning from the entire one-and-a-half-hour flight, I still had a piece of bread. Walking around Lugu Lake in Sichuan has a different flavor. I passed Wangfei Island by boat and checked in on the island. Dear Inn, a popular place. This season, in the crystal clear water of Lugu Lake, only the roots of aquatic poplar flowers can be seen. If a few months earlier, there would be patches of white petals floating on the lake, which would be another scene. At noon, we arrived at Caohai and the Walking Wedding Bridge full of Mosuo cultural characteristics. A few days ago, I was complained by everyone in the circle of friends that I had to experience a walking marriage in Lugu Lake. Unfortunately, it is the off-season, and Mosuo's brothers and sisters probably won't come out for a walk.
Back at Daluoshui, I said goodbye to Master Hu and the group of tourists. They set off for Lijiang. I continued to wait for the driver of another car in the afternoon. I started DP and navigated to Wangguanshi Light for lunch. Then he went to the Dasuo Wharf alone to experience the lively place preferred by the group guests. The huge prayer wheel by the lake attracted my attention, and a local girl came to ask me if I knew about Tibetan culture. I smiled and said that I was not a local and didn't understand very well. She demonstrated that if you believed it, you could pull the prayer wheel and walk three times, five times or seven times to pray. In fact, I also want to follow the Romans when I go to Rome. I hope that I can be sincere and spiritual.
In the afternoon, I followed another master's car and a group of new tourists to Lovers Beach and Ligg Observation Deck. Although it felt like cooking cold rice, the beautiful scenery of Lugu Lake was really endless. When the car reached Nisai Village, the driver pointed to the two headless trees on the bank. "Those two trees are the famous lover trees. They were originally tall and tall and short like a couple. As a result, I was struck by lightning some time ago, so now only the tree trunk is left..." I worshipped the Great Compassion Conch Sutra Hall in Xiaoluoshui. If I continue down, there is the Yang Erche Namu Museum. I heard from Master Hu that the only famous person who appears on Lugu Lake is the great god with a flower in his head. After crossing Xiaoluo River, we entered Lugu Lake in Sichuan. I saw many electric donkeys in Libai Lovers Beach, but the operators and models were completely different from those in the water. The lonely yak on the shore has sad eyes.
The sun was setting after six o'clock, and the driver took him to a farmhouse to experience the so-called best stone pot fish. Because of the sudden power outage, everyone happily tried a replica of the candlelight dinner with mobile phone lighting to eat fish in the dark. After eating for about an hour, the phone finally came on. A funny scene came when the Tianjin girl suddenly shouted,"Where is the call? How can I see that it's still dark?" Only then did her husband realize that she was still wearing those sunglasses while eating... Please forgive me for my low laugh point, but I still refrained from laughing.
After dinner, I will continue to be arranged to experience the Mosuo characteristic bonfire party, and of course I will inevitably be fooled by commercial advertisements. However, the most eye-catching thing is to find out if there are any good-looking Mosuo sisters among the dancers. After searching for it, I still felt that this man wore a good temperament in purple clothes, but I always felt a little different from other people. Later, after comments from colleagues in the circle of friends, it was probably a tourist pretending to be it. No wonder he had been taking selfies with other dancers before the end, and his secret was probably exposed. After watching the party, I transferred to a driver who lived in Lige Village and took me back. One person went to sit in front of the Peninsula Hotel for a while, quietly admired the full moon and the reflection in the lake, and bid farewell to the last night in Lugu Lake.
Day4 (Saturday, 11/16) Lugu Lake-Shuhe Ancient Town-Sifang Tingyin-Sifang Street-Qinglong Bridge-Jiuding Longtan-Sansheng Palace-Tea Horse Ancient Road Museum
A person's journey inevitably encounters unexpected accidents. Fortunately, with the help of a noble person, the journey can go smoothly. I heard at breakfast that there was an earthquake last night. The enthusiastic boss continued to drive me back to the Lige parking lot, waiting for the driver to take me back to the minibus in Daluoshui to rush back to Lijiang. Lugu Lake is a quiet time and space suitable for healing. See you next time. On the way back, I saw several car accidents. The driver immediately said that they were all driving to Lugu Lake for tourism. It's also unfortunate to have an accident before the trip even starts.
Return to Lijiang and take a taxi to Shuhe Ancient Town to continue to experience the pace of slow life. Perhaps it was due to the weekend, the wonderful singing of various resident singers came in the afternoon. Because it is the off-season, compared to Lijiang Dayan Ancient City, it seems even more deserted. The atmosphere in the Sifang Listening Square in the afternoon is completely different from that in the evening. In fact, when you see a bonfire altar in the middle of the square, you can guess what programs will be on at night. Turning left on Sifang Street is Qinglong Bridge, Jiuding Longtan and Sansheng Palace. I met many newcomers who came to take wedding photos. Walking back, I found the Tea Horse Ancient Road Museum and went in to experience the special history and culture belonging to Yunnan.
In the evening, I continued to search for DP and went to the popular restaurant-Xiaoguo Fan. A small pot of rice, a bowl of water poplar flowers (yes, the plants in the lake mentioned before in Lugu Lake), and a pot of Pu 'er tea and wine accompany you through this slow time. When I returned to Sifang Tingyin Square at night, there were too many people. Dancers dressed in Naxi national costumes began to lead the crowd to enjoy the wonderful time tonight. The host kept reminding everyone,"Welcome to Shuhe Ancient Town, a holy place for Internet celebrities to check in-Sifang Listening. I heard that dancing and playing tambourine are more compatible this winter ~~"
Day5 (11/17, Sunday) Lashihai Wetland Park-Lijiang Station-Kunming Station-Xiaoximen-Kunming Old Street-Nanping Pedestrian Street
If Ninglang's business card is Lugu Lake, then the representatives of Yulong are Yulong Snow Mountain and Lashihai. Behind that mountain is the famous Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Make a memory for your next trip to Lijiang.
Say goodbye to Lijiang and catch the bullet train to Kunming. She was already dozing off in a daze, but someone said,"It seems that this train will pass through the Erhai Lake in Dali." I woke up instantly, opened Baidu map and looked at the direction of the railway line. It really was! Lijiang goes to Kunming through Dali, and a section of the railway almost touches the Erhai Lake. When the train stopped temporarily at Shangguan Station for a few minutes, you could already see the lake of Erhai Lake in the distance. The bullet train ticket also comes with the hidden attribute of sightseeing around the Erhai Lake. It can be regarded as an egg during this journey ~~
Arriving in Kunming smoothly, I remembered that there was a statue of a bronze ox at Kunming Railway Station. I asked the staff at the exit and told him that Tongniu was nearby, but it belonged to the entrance area. He secretly opened a back door for me, so he came to check in. Take a taxi to the hotel to drop off your luggage and continue to go out for food. At this time, I ordered this Jinshi Crossing the Bridge Rice Noodles at Qiaoxiang Garden in Xiaoximen Food Street. Do you think I can finish it? Hahaha ~~
After dinner, I took a walk to digest it. I passed by the dark Victory Square and continued walking to Kunming Old Street. The business atmosphere is a bit like Shanghai's Xintiandi, and I accidentally walked into the door of this store. After asking the clerk, I still recommended a shelf life of 7 days for freshly baked baking, and the best taste period is 2 days. If you want to bring a letter to your family and friends, it is best to buy it on the day you leave or the shelf life of the vacuum packaging is 30 days. Nanping Pedestrian Street was quite lively on weekend nights, but because of the subway construction work, the archway was enclosed. His eyes were attracted by other glittering archways in the distance. He wanted to walk over and take a photo, but it was blocked by the railing. After checking the map, I found that it was Jinma Biji Square, one of Kunming's landmarks. Because I missed the lighting moment tonight, I felt a little regretful when I came back in the next two days.
Day6 (11/18, Monday) Former site of Yunnan Army Lecture Hall-Cuihu Park-Yunnan University-Yunnan Normal University-Former site of Southwest Associated University-Daguan Park-Daguan Tower-Haigeng Dam-Dianchi Park-Jinma Biji Square
I didn't expect today to be a day of rage, and it was also the coldest day in Kunming this winter. In the morning, we started from the former site of the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall near the hotel and found out that today was Monday. Memorial halls, museums and the like are closed for one day as usual. I had to stroll around the courtyard to watch the security guards conduct anti-terrorism drills and pretend to return to the martial arts competition site during the war years. Across the road is Cuihu Park. Do you have any hobbies during your week in Yunnan? That must be feeding the seagulls. When I see these little creatures again, I always feel particularly happy. Continue to tease them with the remaining bread in the bag ~ When you see the roof of the park cruise ship occupied by them and chirping, you feel that this world belongs to them. From the north gate of Cuihu Park, Yunnan University is not far away. Up the stairs is the auditorium being renovated, where various tourists take photos and check in. It's lunch time, and I'm going to continue my travel hobby of checking in one city, one university, one canteen, and pretend to be a college student again. Nowadays, college students should be born in the 2000s. They found a good-looking girl behind them and said that they were here for a trip. They wanted to borrow their meal card to have a meal, so they lent me the meal card without saying a word. I have to praise others for trusting me and not thinking that I am a bad person, hahaha.
There are several universities here. From Yunnan University and across the overpass, you will see the famous former site of Southwest Associated University, now Yunnan Normal University. When it comes to Southwest Associated University, my most recent memory is the movie "No Questions about the West". Like its school motto, this university fought hard for eight years in that era and completed its historical mission. Because it was Monday, the Southwest Associated University Museum was also closed, with only the July 21 Movement Memorial Hall next door open. Coming out from the north gate of Yunnan Normal University, there is an abandoned railway track, which is said to be the Yunnan-Myanmar Railway. Continuing along the rails are Kunming University of Science and Technology and the Affiliated High School of Yunnan University. When I walked to Yunnan University for Nationalities, I happened to see the No. 22 bus heading for Daguanlou, so I decided to go there at the next stop.
I thought I could see Dianchi Lake from Daguanlou, but when I arrived, I realized that it was just a small park. As usual, tourists are feeding seagulls and taking photos, but the atmosphere is a bit monotonous. After a while, he left and rode a Mobai to Kunming's iconic attraction-Dianchi Lake. Because of the weather, it gets colder while walking along the Dianchi Lake. The cloudy day is accompanied by fog, and I feel that the West Mountain on the other side is hazy, and the sun occasionally exposes my face for a while. After walking aimlessly through the Haigeng Dam, we went to Haigeng Park.
The lake water in front of me was green, but it was too cold to appreciate it. After walking all day, there was no public transportation in this place, so I had to call for Didi to go back quickly. I chatted with the driver for a while on the way and lamented that I was traveling alone and was quite familiar with the attractions in Kunming. When he traveled to Shanghai with a group some time ago, he only went to the Bund, which was a bit boring. Out of habit, I still suggested that he ask his children to help with some strategies, use public transportation to go out and visit attractions and try snacks. I returned to Jinma Biji Workshop again, but I didn't see the brilliance of the lights on. I asked the square patrol police and said that the light was broken and no one came to repair it. It was embarrassing...
Day7 (Tuesday, 11/19) Former site of Yunnan Army Lecture Hall-Yunnan Normal University-Southwest Associated University Museum-Jinma Biji Square-Kunming Changshui International Airport
As the museum was closed on Monday, I visited the Lecture Hall and the Southwest Associated University Museum again today. I bought a postcard and stamped it with a few commemorative medals at the Koku Post Office. It was also a souvenir of my visit here. Lunch will continue to be served in the canteen of Yunnan Normal University ~
Because of an obsession, I still rode a bicycle to visit the Golden Horse and Chicken Square three times before leaving just to leave a photo of the day. Take the subway, head to Kunming Changshui International Airport, and set off for home. The beautiful week in Yunnan is about to come to an end.
The significance of travel is to feel the beauty of this unknown world with your heart and comfort your lost soul. Traveling alone may feel lonely, but you are lucky to meet tourists and locals from all over the world. Sharing one's experiences and insights with each other is also a new kind of understanding and accumulation. Maybe one day in the future, we will meet again on a certain trip.
Through these 7,000 words, we can record every detail of the seven-day journey and recall it later. It was these experiences that allowed a depressed patient to embrace the world again. Like the familiar saying, one must be on the road, both body and soul. The heart that has gone through the journey of healing begins to look forward to the next journey. Who knows what magical experience it will have ~~
South of the colorful clouds, the story is not over.
Although the journey is short, let's go and watch.
The road ahead is long and we will never see you.
