I will give you my carefully compiled travel guide for Yunnan. Don't thank me too much ~
Because you only need to like it lightly, and we won't owe each other even, haha (●''●)
Warm reminder:
1. Travel route: Kunming → Dali → Lijiang → Lugu Lake → Lijiang Take the train back to Kunming and then go home!
2. Capital: about 1680 yuan
3. Items: a. Clothes: 3 sets of short sleeves and underpants, one thick coat and one thin coat. In addition to the one you wear, you can bring another pair of pants (you can replace them in case you get dirty) or not. b. Personal belongings: sunglasses (not just to show off, but also because the sun in Yunnan is too dazzling), sunscreen (the sun in Yunnan is too harsh), mobile phone chargers, and all kinds of food you can buy. Please pack as lightly as possible!
4. Recommended number of people: If you want to share a car to save money, 5 people are enough. If you have too many people, you will easily have different opinions; find your best partner to come with. Of course, if you are a couple, it's also good for two people to come; it's also okay for individual travel, and travel together to youth travel clubs in various places. I think the beautiful scenery is one aspect, and sometimes the people you travel with are also important!
Specific itinerary:
The first stop is Kunming (Recommended attractions: Yunnan Mingzu Village, Dianchi Lake, Shilin) There are not many attractions worth visiting in Kunming. If you don't want to stay longer, one day is enough. If you have enough time, two days are enough! You can book accommodation online first, and then look everywhere after you get it! Kunming's consumption level is not very high, and the prices of food and accommodation are reasonable! It is recommended to find a room slightly away from the train station, which is relatively affordable! You can eat nearby after settling down.
The second stop is Dali (Recommended attractions: Dali Ancient City, Cangshan, Erhai). The historical Nanzhao State and Dali Capital are here. It is also the base of the Dali Duan family in "Eight Parts of the Dragon". However, things are no longer the same and there is not much historical accumulation here. However, the three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple are still struggling to carry history and refuse to retreat. Dali can arrange 2 to 3 days. Take a train or bus from Kunming to Dali, and remember to book a room in the ancient city of Dali in advance! If you arrive at Dali Railway Station during the day, you can take a bus directly in front of the station (the specific bus can be found on Baidu Map) and get off at the "Fenghua Xueyue Hotel" Station. You will be in Dali City. Use Baidu Map to find the room you have booked in advance. Have a good rest.
After a good rest, you can go nearby and experience the "Three Pagoda Temple" if you have time. Everyone says that it is good to experience the Three Pagoda Temple outside. There is no need to buy tickets to enter. The details depend on the individual. Secondly, everyone says that Santa Reflection Park is a good place to take pictures of the three towers, so you can also go and have a look. Only when you wait until evening can you truly feel the charm of Dali's night view! At the same time, I feel the slow-paced and leisurely life of people in Dali, and there are many stalls (there are all kinds of people, including foreigners, but the prices sold by foreigners seem a bit expensive). It's up to you to buy or not. You can also visit the "Foreign Street" or soak in a bar. Only then can you feel the significance of coming to the ancient city of Dali. Returning to the hotel before 24 o'clock, the day in Dali ended.
The third stop is Lijiang (Recommended attractions: Ancient City of Lijiang, Lugu Lake) Lijiang. Although different people have different opinions about it, some people say that Lijiang is now very commercial and has lost its original essence. Some people say that Lijiang still has the flavor of an ancient city, and some people say that Lijiang is a place to meet with each other. However, no matter what, since you have come to Yunnan, it is still worth experiencing it. Then many people go to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
If you don't want to rush, you can visit the small attractions around Lijiang, such as Baishui River, Shuhe Ancient Town, Heilongtan Park, Mufu, etc. If you don't want to visit these small attractions, then charter a car to Lugu Lake! Due to various reasons, I didn't go with my friends, but I also heard that it would take a long ride to get there and stay another night, so I won't say much here!
As a tourism practitioner and responsible for Yunnan routes for a long time, I give you the following suggestions.
1. Is it better to travel with a group or to travel by yourself?
There is no absolute correctness on this question. It mainly depends on the individual.
If you are cheerful, pursue excitement, travel often and like to arrange everything yourself, choose outdoor or self-guided travel.
If you don't go out often and don't like to worry about it, choose a travel agency. What a travel agency can give you is safety, worry, and trouble.
2. How to arrange travel routes if it is a self-guided tour
The first thing you need to know is which city you entered Yunnan from. Generally, airports commonly used in Yunnan include Kunming Changshui Airport, Lijiang Sanyi Airport, and Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport.
Yunnan's tourist routes can be divided into three directions with Kunming as the center. These are introduced one by one:
1) Northwest Yunnan line: Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Shangri-La
This is the longest route promoted by Yunnan tourism and the longest route promoted by travel agencies now
2) Southern Yunnan Line: Kunming-Yuxi-Banna
The main destination of this line is Xishuangbanna, which takes a long time on the road. Generally speaking, it is recommended to go to Xishuangbanna directly from Lijiang or Kunming for about 1 hour. There are also special airfares all year round.
3) Southeast Yunnan Line: Kunming-Luxi-Bamei-Puzhehei-Miller
There are two reasons why this route is the least recommended route by travel agencies. First, this route is the route with the least market recognition, and of course it is also the route that retains the most original ecological attractions. If you want to travel for self-help, this route will be the first to be recommended. Secondly, the distribution of attractions on this route is too scattered and requires too many "turning backs". This is a big taboo in designing tourist routes.

Life is not just the present, but also poetry and distance. In just a few decades of life, we cannot devote all of them to work. We also have our own dreams and places we want to go.
There are some places you have never been to, but you have never stopped looking forward to it, because you know you will go once in your life. Maybe this place has a name called Yunnan.
