In my impression, Lijiang is an ancient city with romantic encounters, and Shangri-La is a place where Buddha is pious. This is my first time to go to Lijiang and Shangri-La. How to open these two ancient cities and how to find their most beautiful side. I carefully read some strategies about these two places before setting off. I wanted to ignore the attractions that were too popular, but I didn't want the too hard trip. I took the general itinerary of Xuesong Cultural Travel and carried my luggage in one hand. First stop: Lijiang

The beautiful ancient city of Dayan in Lijiang has more than just small bridges and flowing water

Dayan Ancient City is the largest ancient city in Lijiang. A small river winds through the city. Countless small bridges bring convenience to pedestrians and decorate it. Small shops and inns on both sides of the river came into being. The bumpy stone road is a symbol of the ancient city and a trace of time. Most of the stone stones have been trampled on and become smooth. This shows that the prosperity of the ancient city is no longer what it used to be, and it is really crowded every holiday.

Sifang Street, located in the center of Dayan Ancient City, is naturally a must-check-in place for tourists, but I found a better place-Dayanhua Lane. Dayanhua Lane is near the north gate of the ancient city. The eye-catching archway seems to tell me that meeting Lijiang here was not a beautiful accident. Walking along the flower alley, your line of sight is instantly wide and cheerful. This is the Eye of Lijiang!

Standing in the Eye of Lijiang and looking down from God's perspective, the sunset sky tried to penetrate the thick clouds and project its peripheral light on the gray tiles and white walls. There was an indescribable feeling that attracted me, and I couldn't leave for a long time.

After a long time, my daughter pulled me and said that I was hungry, so we went to meet·Ma Ban Cuisine in Huaxiang. A signature preserved pork ribs hot pot served for 4 people. Moderately fat pork belly was paired with Chinese cabbage. There were also side dishes and other fried dough sticks were stewed in a pot, and we had a bite in Lijiang at night when autumn was strong, and we were very satisfied.

The "three rises and three falls" of the sunrise is only on the legendary Laojun Mountain

It is said that the Lisu people, who originally lived in the northwest, liked to chase the sun, so they followed the sun all the way to Liming District in Lijiang, Yunnan. They actually saw the fantasy scene of the sunrise "rising and falling" in one day here. I believe this must be God's will, so they chose to settle here forever!

Laojun Mountain in Liming District is located in the southern section of the Hengduan Mountains, 76 kilometers away from Lijiang, about a 2.5-hour drive. Our car was driving in the canyon. The majestic mountains on both sides highlighted the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature. I could only sigh at my smallness.

There are two cable cars on Laojun Mountain. We rode all the way to the top of the mountain. From the top of the mountain, we looked deep into the mountains. The mist lingered. This was the magnificent mountains and rivers of the motherland.

There are several observation platforms here, where you can enjoy Laojun Mountain from different angles. My sister works very hard to follow everyone. Tired, we sat on the ground, and at this moment we felt truly integrated into nature.

The magnificent Laojun Mountain in Liming District is a miracle of nature. Next time, I will choose winter to come to find the legendary "three rises and three falls" spectacle of the sunrise.

Crossing the ancient tea-horse road 2000 years ago, looking for a mirror of the sky in Lashihai Wetland Park

Today's Lashihai in Lijiang may not be a popular tourist destination, but in ancient times it was an important ancient road station. The entire Yunnan-Tibet Tea and Horse Ancient Road is about 3000 kilometers long and extends from Yunnan to Lhasa, Xizang. More than 2000 years ago, there were no developed means of transportation. People relied on caravans to bring goods. Most of them were tea, salt, fur, medicinal materials and other goods. Shuttling through plateau areas with an average altitude of more than 3000 meters, forming the original form of trade.

This section of the ancient tea-horse road in Lashihai, Lijiang is the most completely preserved section. It is also a very good experience to experience people's experience of carrying goods in ancient times by riding horses.

Second stop: Shangri-La

Intangible cultural heritage cultural experience center hidden deep in Dukezong Flower Lane

After leaving Lijiang and coming to Shangri-La, I met another paradise. Lijiang has the ancient city of Dayan, and Shangri-La has the ancient city of Dukezong. Although both are called ancient cities, they are two cities with very different styles. If Lijiang is a gentle woman, then Shangri-La is a strong man. We walked around Dukezonghua Lane. The buildings here are mainly made of wood, and the yellow pavilions look more historical.

After dinner, we continued to stroll and found a good place. We hid an intangible cultural heritage experience center underground in Dukezonghua Lane. In an experience shop made by Nisi black pottery, a group of young men and women gathered. They were all lovers of black pottery making. We slowly approached and they warmly invited us to experience it. Her daughter was also honest and rude and wanted to pinch the clay, so an older sister taught her to use black pottery to pinch an apple and banana.

There is a young man sitting in the Nisi Black Pottery Experience Store. Although he is young, he is one of the descendants of black pottery making in Nisi Village. He said that there are now more than 100 black pottery craftsmen left in their village. Because it is purely handmade, the speed is slow and the cost is high, but not many people know how to appreciate it, so fewer and fewer people are willing to continue to inherit it. I am not a person who understands art very much, but in the experience center, I saw that every work is unique. Seeing the young inheritors carving his works one after another, I can deeply feel that this is It is such a precious intangible cultural heritage culture, but I just lament whether this kind of culture will eventually disappear with the pace of modern fast-moving society.

Strolling through the animal paradise-Napahai Yila Grassland

The vast Napahaiyila Grassland is located 4 kilometers away from the ancient city of Dukezong. It can be easily reached by taxi. It is a paradise for animals. The natural lawns, swamps and wetlands raise groups of cattle and horses that are being farmed.

In the Napa Sea, you can choose to ride deep into the grassland to reach the foot of the snowy mountains, or interact with the ponies on the grassland and get in close contact. The weather is sunny today. We did not choose to ride horses, but walked on the grassland. I encouraged my daughter to touch the pony. She expressed fear and only dared to look from a distance but not get close. The sisters who were traveling with the horse all walked over and took photos with the horse. Her daughter was moved again and tried to get closer in fear. In the end, with everyone's support and encouragement, she finally overcame herself and had a great time with the horse!

But don't be too happy. Due to the heavy rain some time ago, this grassland is full of traps. If you step down, you may fall into water or quagmire! I was the mid-range big-headed shrimp. Unfortunately, I stepped on water only when I only took pictures. Fortunately, my shoes were strong and there was no moisture inside, otherwise it would have been a disappointment.

Price: Free access to the grassland! If you ride a horse, you need to see the route pricing. It takes 180 yuan and takes about 90 minutes to reach the center of the grassland.

What does 143 represent? There is a challenge called Songzanlin Temple

If you have not been to Songzanlin Temple, you have not been to Shangri-La.

Gadansong Zanlin Temple is the most sacred place in the hearts of people in Shangri-La. Although it is also a place of Buddhism, it is different from ordinary temples. There is no custom of burning incense to worship the Buddha, but a temple that learns Dharma and cultivates itself.

Songzanlin Temple is the tallest building in Shangri-La. The 143 stairs in front of the main hall may not seem like much, but it is located at an altitude of 3400 meters. From the perspective of our original people, every step is a challenge. Almost 10 steps require a rest for 5-10 minutes. My daughter also lost her temper and wanted to give up halfway through. With my constant encouragement and temptation, she completed the "peak" of her life.

The young man who is explaining to you today is called Luosang, or you can call him Tashi. He spent 90 minutes patiently introducing us in detail the origin of Songzanlin Temple, its monastery, how to become a monk, etc. The explanation was rich in content, but it actually took less than 90 minutes. In order to adjust everyone's impetuous heart in daily life in the city, he deliberately slowed down and left enough time between each explanation for everyone to breathe. I am also the impetuous person. I have no patience to listen to him and take photos everywhere.

However, when I stood in front of the main hall overlooking the sacred mountain, overlooking Ramyangcuo, looking up at the circling red-billed gulls, closed my eyes to meditate for a few minutes, and opened my eyes again, I was really shocked by the scenery in front of me. I probably had to understand the vastness of heaven and earth. Only then can I have a broad mind! Although I couldn't do the so-called spiritual cleansing, I began to understand that there was no need to be impatient in everything in Shangri-La. Being impatient would lead to panting. Only by being calm can we reach the place we want to go.

I finally understood why I couldn't say Songzanlin Temple and didn't mean I had been to Shangri-La!

The fifth meteor with oxygen supply·Light Year Hotel, not afraid of high reaction to help you sleep

Coming from the plains to Shangri-La with an average altitude of 3300 meters, the thing I am most worried about is the high altitude. Whenever a headache strikes, it will greatly affect the state and mood of traveling. The most fortunate thing about this trip was that I met the fifth meteorite in Dukezonghua Lane·Light Year Hotel.

Elderly people in Shangri-La said that meteorites represent courage and wisdom. The four meteorites that fell into Shangri-La before were collected by famous families, while the fifth meteorite was missing. Fortunately, during the construction of Dukezonghua Lane, this meteorite rose from the ground and reappeared in the world, so this Guangnian Hotel came into being, and this lucky meteorite has always guarded this place!

However, apart from legends, the biggest feature of this hotel is the 24-hour oxygen supply. You must know that oxygen is a luxury in the plateau. Whenever a tiring day's journey is over, I want to return to the hotel immediately. In the room, my fatigue and discomfort can be eliminated. I can sleep in an environment with sufficient oxygen at night and be energetic to welcome the next day's adjustments. Not many hotels and inns in Shangri-La have oxygen supply, but this is one of them.

The hotel has a high terrain, and through the unique window grilles you can view the entire ancient city. You can also see the Big Buddha Temple and the Grand Sutra Wheel. The scenery is beautiful and it is simply the best choice.

After entering the hotel, we were reluctant to leave. We chose to enjoy dinner and breakfast at the hotel's Meteorite Restaurant. The top of the restaurant is a glass roof. Because Shangri-La has abundant sunshine, every household will build a glass room, and this hotel is no exception. During the day, the light and warmth of the sun shines directly into it, making the plants grow and grow. At night, the meager moonlight shines in slightly, making it so gentle and romantic.

The biggest feature of Meteor Restaurant is that it provides local specialty foods, such as butter tea, yak milk residue, highland barley fried noodles, etc. I heard that when I arrive in the plateau area, I should eat local food to alleviate the backlash, so I also brought a bowl of yak milk residue and highland barley. It's salty, fresh, and delicious!

Anyone who has read "The Lost Horizon" will yearn to visit Shangri-La once to find the unclear cultural spirit. I took my daughter to the ancient city of Dukezong, hoping to have in-depth contact with the local people and learn more about the local culture.

There is a small shop run by local people in Dukezonghua Lane that specializes in buying local clothes made by their own hands. The craftsmanship of the clothes is exquisite, and my daughter likes it very much at first glance, so I bought a dress and let my daughter transform into Little Zhuoma. Locals call the girl Zhuoma and the boy Tashi. The daughter does look a bit like a local in national costumes. The grandma in the store also gave my daughter a small Buddhist barrel and told her that it was full of scriptures and seals. It had to be rotated clockwise to protect peace!

We passed through the scenery market, the square building, and the white tower to arrive at Guishan Park in front of the Moonlight Square. There is the world's largest golden scripture barrel in Guishan Park. It takes the strength of many people to turn it. People under the large scripture barrel will exert their force in the same direction by agreement. The moment I see the scripture barrel turning, I have an inexplicable touch.

Looking at the entire ancient city of Dukezong on Guishan, I am calm and peaceful in my heart. I dare not take a deep breath here because the thin air makes every breath seem precious.

Soon we are leaving Shangri-La and Yunnan. The journey has given me a new insight into travel. Places I haven't been to are paradise. Why bother rushing to check in on popular attractions? As long as I have passion and innocence, every place will be a beautiful scenery. Goodbye Yunnan, I believe we will meet again.
