In this magical land, there are not only the ancient legends of the Kangba family, but also steep and deep canyons, majestic snow-capped mountains, scattered virgin forests, grass-covered pastures and simple folk customs. In July, everything recovers, and the scenery between the mountains and rivers is endowed with the purest beauty. This is my second time to come to Balagzong. The last time I came here was in April. The mountains were covered with ice and snow. In addition to its name, its geographical location is also far away from the secular world. There was once no place in Balagzon at all on the map. There was no electricity, no access, let alone communication. The villagers at that time had almost no cash income, and it was very difficult to use some daily necessities such as salt and tea. Poverty and backwardness have become synonymous with Bala Village. If you want to get out of the mountains, you can only rely on a horse post road built on the cliff in the 1970s. It is less than one meter wide. If you are careless, you may fall into the rolling Gangqu River.

July is the rainy season in Shangri-La. The snowy mountains melt away, and you can see green all over the mountains and plains. At this time of year, it rains for about one-third of the day, but it also happens to be the rainy season. The Tiger Leaping Gorge is in the most magnificent flood season, so this trip to the Tiger Leaping Gorge is the most must-miss stop.

Walking on the stone road, strolling leisurely in the old street, the grandma sitting in the corner of the courtyard, the craftsman carving wood paintings, the literary and artistic youth doing handicrafts, the misty and misty Yulong Snow Mountain in the distance intertwined with the ancient streets and alleys that have experienced wind and frost, there is no rush. The footsteps, only the crisscross time.

Old women of the Naxi nationality wearing national costumes can be seen everywhere in the ancient city. The words "Baisha, the Capital of the Ancient Kingdom of Naxi, a World Cultural Heritage Site," are still clearly visible on the plaque of the archway, and through the door plate, you can see the snowy mountains facing each other in a distance.
