I come from Guangdong, and Lijiang is the highest altitude place I have ever been to. Students who have been to Xizang must have laughed. But the top of the snowy mountain is indeed the highest place I have ever been. Moreover, I used all my strength, took a few steps to rest, and risked my life to get up there (there are no high-level rebels here, and the students who are in great health will laugh again). Why fight so hard? There is no meaning. The true meaning is what you give to you. Only you know and understand it best in your heart.
Prepare to depart
1. Item preparation:
[Sun protection]-At high altitudes, the first priority is to protect against sun, so prepare a sunscreen that is high and easy to apply is very heavy. I bring spray to protect my body from sun protection, and it will be absorbed after a while after spraying it evenly. Do a good job in protecting sun during the day, and bring a moisturizing and whitening mask at night to apply it, the effect will be better!
[Clothing]-For clothes, the temperature is very high during the day, so you can wear summer clothes. However, the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, so you need to wear long sleeves. If you go up to the snowy mountains, just normal long pants and renting a down piece will be enough; it is recommended not to bring too much clothes, because when you go to the various local literary and artistic traditions, you will want to buy a few pieces. Don't wear high heels on your shoes. It's not easy to walk on stone roads. If you really want a height, you can wear wedges. You can also buy many cloth shoes that match literary linen clothes locally. You can wear them on the snowy mountains.
[Medicine]-If you are afraid of high reaction, you can bring some glucose to replenish your physical fitness. You can also buy these at local pharmacies. In fact, you don't have to gain weight.
In Lijiang, playing is more of a "mood".
In Lijiang, the essence is "slowness". Get up slowly, drink a pot of hot tea or coffee in the inn, listen to music, watch passers-by, have a leisurely breakfast, and then start to go out and stroll. When you are tired from shopping, find a place that looks pleasing to the eye to continue drinking tea, chatting, and being in a daze. At night, go to a lively or literary bar to join in. This is typical Lijiang's slow life.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a new height, the heart begins
Yulong Snow Mountain is located in Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. 15 kilometers north of Lijiang City, Yulong Snow Mountain has an altitude of 5596 meters. It is a national 5A-level scenic spot and a Yunnan provincial nature reserve. It is the southernmost snow mountain in the northern hemisphere. It is 35 kilometers long from north to south, 13 kilometers wide from east to west, and has an area of 960Km². The alpine and snowy scenery are located at an altitude of more than 4000 meters. The way to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is very beautiful, with a wide view, much like driving in Yellowstone Park in the United States. Then you can look at the majestic and unpredictable snowy mountains in the distance, enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way with anticipation, excitement and a little nervousness, and move forward.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: The Heart Ruler of 4680
There are three cableways in the snowy mountain, the large cableway, the Yunshanping cableway (small cableway), and the Yauping cableway (middle cableway), all of which have different scenery. In general, taking the large cableway allows you to touch the snow, while the small cableway (Yunshanping) is halfway up the snowy mountain and allows you to take a panoramic view of the snowy mountain. Like Yunshanping, Yak Ping is located in the middle of the mountain. It is relatively open and there are many foreign tourists, but Yak Ping has a higher altitude and is closer to the snow line. The cableways with the most people are Yunshanping and Da Cableway. We were also riding a large cableway, which was very steep, and we still felt sad when looking down.
It's also quite hard to showcase the four treasures of the Snow Mountain without forgetting to demonstrate them:
1. oxygen inhalation
2. down jacket
After getting on the cable car and reaching a height of 4506 meters, we already began to feel a little uncomfortable. In addition, we had just arrived at the snowy mountains and were a little excited, so we decided to take photos on the platform first and then go up the stairs. So there are various tourist photos that cannot be exempted from customs: photos with digital monuments, photos with scenic spots, photos with snow-capped mountains as the background, etc.
After playing for more than half an hour, we thought it was time to start climbing the mountain. When people walk high, it's really shocking for the frail two of us. Basically, we have to rest every time we go to a platform and then take oxygen (I later heard that oxygen is a matter of taking oxygen. In fact, if you can, don't take it if you can, otherwise you will get drunk after going down the snowy mountains).
I also bought hot dog sausage halfway through to replenish my energy. Basically every section of the snowy mountain has a small station for energy supply, selling red bulls, sausages, chocolates, etc., so you can buy it again if you don't want to carry heavy loads up the mountain.
With such a scenery and such a height, two people holding hands and looking at it together will definitely be more meaningful and romantic. Think about it, there must be an ingenious couple who took out their rings and proposed when climbing the top of the snowy mountains. In such a place closer to the sky, with the protection and witness of the sacred mountain, can love last longer?
There are also people who have put up the love lock they have brought here.
In the future, next time, we will hang a love lock that belongs to us in such a holy place: )
After meeting two "strong men", Sister Mei, who was already exhausted, seemed to have grasped a life-saving straw and repeatedly said: "Then they can accompany you up. I won't go. I will wait for you here." So, two other friends took on the glorious task of accompanying me up the mountain, helping me with my backpack, and providing me with food and oxygen from time to time.
While going down the mountain, I met a group of young people working up the mountain. I said, can I take a photo for you? They gave me a big smile. Then I said thank you habitually. The young man wearing a hat said: "You helped us take pictures. What are you thanking us for?" So cute!
Finally, after breathing for ten steps and resting for dozens of steps (mainly because I needed to rest), we finally reached the top successfully. In fact, it is a height difference of more than 300 meters, but it is so long and arduous to walk. Along the way, we kept hearing people say: "Go up, I won't go, I'll wait for you here." When the steepest steps were left to reach the top, someone shouted: "Go up even if you die!!!!!" In the end, a child from a low-altitude area of mine finally successfully climbed to the highest altitude area in his life and completed his own small check list. Next step, is it closer to Xizang?
While I felt that my body was still ok, I also felt proud and left a photo of myself here in front of the number 4680. In fact, in plateau areas, it is of course better to avoid jumping around ~~
#Down the mountain #Going down the mountain will be easier than going up the mountain. The first is to know the goal, the second is to walk to a low altitude, and the third is to feel particularly good after completing the predetermined goal. So when I went down the mountain, I heard someone shouting in front of me: "I want to go to Xizhang!!" Then I followed him in my heart, I also want to go to Xizang!!!!
Blue Moon Valley: Jade in the Valley
Blue Moon Valley was formerly known as the "Baishui River". On sunny days, the color of the water is blue, and the valley is crescent-shaped. From a distance, it looks like a blue moon inlaid at the foot of the Yulong Snow Mountain, so it is called Blue Moon Valley. The name Baishui River is also called Baishui River because the mud at the bottom of the lake is white and the water turns white when it rains. The river water in the Blue Moon Valley was blocked by mountains during its flow, forming four large water surfaces, known as the "Yuye" Lake, the "Jingtan" Lake, the "Blue Moon" Lake and the "Tingtao" Lake.
Because it was too tiring to come down from the snowy mountains, and the sunshine was very strong in the afternoon when we arrived in the Blue Moon Valley, we didn't stay for too long. We just took a quick glance. What impressed us most was the emerald color of Jiuzhai.
We were so tired that we couldn't come up with a look-_-#had to pose as the most classic tourist look...
Gan Haizi: Panoramic view of the snowy mountains
Here, at 3100 meters, we encountered the beautiful snowy mountain of Jesus Light. If spring comes here, it will be even more beautiful. It was originally a alpine lake. Due to geological changes, the water outlet expanded, so the local people commonly called it "Ganhaizi". In fact,"Ganhaizi" is not dry. It is surrounded by distant mountains and dense forests. Streams in the sea are winding and lush with lush grass, like a velvet carpet covering the earth. In summer and autumn, wild flowers are dotted with them, cattle, sheep, mules and horses are flocked. In winter and spring, it is dark yellow, contrasting with the surrounding snowy mountains and red leaves. Therefore, people gradually called "Gan Haizi""" Gan Haizi ".
Ganhaizi is the closest and best place to look up at the full picture of Yulong Snow Mountain. Here you can see the thirteen peaks of the Yulong Snow Mountain lined up from north to south. It is majestic and magnificent, with shining silver, especially the main peak with steep fans, like an open fan, cutting into the sky, with majestic momentum. You can also view the snow-green glaciers winding down above the snow line and use the telescope to appreciate the modern glacier wonders of this "green peak".
#About the magical mix and match style #I want to make a special statement here that my cat stockings seem to be a little inconsistent with Lijiang's literary style... I didn't mean to mix and match. I was afraid of going cold on the snowy mountains before going out, so I grabbed a pair of stockings for cold protection. I didn't expect to catch this pair-_-#So occasionally when the wind blows up, the naughty kitten will be exposed. You can just take it that I deliberately mix and match it!! haha
Ganhaizi is a natural meadow ranch with gentle and undulating terrain. There are low pine trees scattered on the vast meadow. At its feet are endless pastures hidden by vegetation. From time to time, yaks walk by in front of you, giving you a plateau ranch scenery. Set against the distant scenery of the snowy mountains, this is an ideal place for viewing and taking photos. Every year, flowers bloom in warm spring and grass germinate. Tibetan, Yi and Naxi herdsmen living in the mountains near Ganhaizi have to wear felt tents, ride high-headed horses, drive yaks, sheep, and cattle to pasture in the meadow. From Ganhaizi Meadow to the 4500-meter snow line, you can see a variety of flowers, plants and trees, orchids, wild peonies, and snow lotus; tall trees include Yunnan pine, cedar, fir, thorn chestnut, etc. There is also a golf course opposite. Is it a different taste to play golf on the plateau?
After coming down from the snowy mountains, the sky began to turn cloudy, and it rained a lot when we arrived in Lijiang. Climbing the snowy mountain seemed to consume all my strength. After descending the mountain, Sister Mei and I talked less and were in a state where we could not speak as much as possible because we were really tired.
Finally, I would like to say:
This time, I went entirely for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In addition, in the middle of the semester, I didn't have much time to visit more places around me. Although the journey was hurried, I achieved my goal, challenged my physical strength, broke through my original self, and most importantly, I crossed the mountain in my heart, and finally began to embark on a new path smoothly.
Shuhe Ancient Town takes a quiet place in the hustle and bustle. Take a stroll along the clean and clear river. You can visit Jiuding Longtan Park, or find a small restaurant and cafe to sit and spend a while. Horses and horse riding figures can be seen everywhere on the streets.🦊In the evening, there is a bonfire party holding hands and dancing folk dances in the square.🍨
While staying in Shuhe Ancient Town, I completely fell in love with the small pot rice here. The taste of the dishes is good; the steamed tofu is particularly delicious, with tender outside and tender inside, and the sauce is very characteristic; this is the first time I have eaten it with water-borne flowers, and it is very clear to the mouth; The Naxi grilled fish is great, it's grilled well, it tastes good, and the price is affordable. The fruit wine is also very distinctive. Pu 'er tea and wine are very delicious. The overall environment is very good. There are many flowers outside the restaurant, there is a stream at the door, and there is also a private seat on the second floor. The store is clean and tidy, and the items are neatly arranged and orderly. It gives people a very good first impression. The service is great. From the boss to the waiter, everyone is very enthusiastic. This may be why I have always liked it here. It's very heart-warming and every service is very attentive. It's amazing. In short, I highly recommend it
The most important thing about traveling is not how many beautiful scenery you have seen or how many intoxicating postcard photos you have taken. It is whether what you think, feel, and encounter during travel allows you to know yourself more clearly and understand the partner you travel with, and thus become the better "you" in your own heart.
May you all find what you admire on your journey. Goodbye to the blue sky and gorgeous purple-red azalea in Lijiang; goodbye to yourself in September.
