We came to Yunnan and visited the ancient city of Lijiang in Yunnan Province.

The Ancient City of Lijiang is located in Ancient City, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, also known as Dayan Town. It is located in the middle of Lijiang Dam. It was built in the late 13th century AD. It is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, covering an area of 7.279 square kilometers.

The streets of the ancient city of Lijiang are built against mountains and paved with red breccia. They include Sifang Street, Baima Longtan Temple, Gu Peter's former residence, Jinglian Temple, Puxian Temple, Jiefeng Tower, October Literature Museum, Red Army Long March Crossing Lijiang Command Headquarters Memorial Hall, Lijiang Ancient City Historical and Cultural Exhibition Hall, Lijiang Ancient City Xu Xiake Memorial Hall and other attractions.

Lijiang is one of the second batch of approved historical and cultural cities in China. It is one of the two ancient cities in China that have successfully declared the entire ancient city for World Cultural Heritage (the other is Pingyao Ancient City in Shanxi Province). The ancient city of Lijiang embodies the achievements of ancient Chinese urban construction and is one of the types of Chinese folk houses with distinctive characteristics and styles.

As an ethnic minority city, Lijiang Ancient City integrates the essence of Han, Bai, Yi and Tibetan ethnic groups from the overall urban layout to engineering and architecture, and has its own unique style of the Naxi people.

The ancient city of Lijiang has not been influenced by the replica of the Central Plains city of Fangjiuli, Fangsanmen, National Middle School nine meridians and nine latitudes, and nine tracks. There is no regular road network or strict city walls in the city. In the layout of the ancient city, three mountains are used as screens, connected by a river. The water system uses three rivers to pass through the city, and every household flows through the city. The streets and meridians are equipped with winding, quiet, narrow and reaching winds. The pattern of the ancient city of Lijiang was spontaneously formed with a direction facing west and southeast.

The ancient city of Lijiang, with water as its core, presents a unique spatial layout of water alleys due to the use of water. Dense bridges are the biggest feature of Lijiang Ancient City. In terms of external shape and structure, the ancient city folk houses combine the skills of Central Plains architecture with Tibetan and Bai architecture, forming architectural techniques such as upward dividing soil stone walls, overlapping roofs, small green tiles, and wooden frames. A unique style has been formed in terms of architectural layout form, architectural art techniques and other aspects.

Most of the houses are civil structures. The more common forms include three squares and one curtain wall, four in five courtyards, front and rear courtyards, one entrance and two houses, etc.

Lijiang. The trip to the ancient town of Lijiang puts the ancient city of Lijiang at the last stop. The ancient town of Lijiang has always been a place I look forward to in my heart. I regret that I didn't go when I first came to Lijiang a few years ago, so I arranged to come here at the first stop when I arrived in Lijiang this time. It takes about 15 minutes to drive from the hotel. There is a parking lot at the door, which is still relatively convenient. Then you can cross the road to the archway gate. The must-see food in Lijiang is not in Dayan Ancient City, but in Shuhe Ancient Town, which has a more comfortable environment!

Tell me about my impression of Lijiang cuisine. Dayan Ancient City has a lot of delicious food, the restaurant environment is relatively poor, the price is also expensive, and the price is not high! But it was really lively! There are so many people! Shuhe Ancient Town is the opposite. The restaurant has a good environment, affordable prices, and high cost performance. Many famous restaurants are located in Shuhe Ancient Town!

This time I went to a restaurant with a good reputation in Shuhe Ancient Town. The environment is really comfortable. It's off-season, but the first floor is basically full, and the second floor is almost full. The business is really good and the service is really warm. This is the best service we encountered during our trip to Lijiang.

Speaking of delicious food, there are too many varieties of delicious food in the store, which is dazzling. I ordered a few randomly. They are really delicious. Small pot rice is the signature of the store. This must be ordered. They are delicious and fragrant. The preserved pork ribs. I used to eat boiled pork ribs, but this time I came up with a stir-fried one. It has a unique flavor. The water poplar flower is better than what others make and tastes very good. The chicken bean jelly is also quite delicious. It is not expensive. It is much more affordable than what I ate in Dayan Ancient City, and it is very cost-effective!

Lijiang: You should visit every corner of the ancient city
