After leaving Lijiang Railway Station, I went straight to the No. 18 bus to Dayan Ancient City. After getting off at Zhongyi Market, I had lunch nearby, and then entered the ancient city and left my luggage in my pre-booked residence. What is worth mentioning is that the buses at Lijiang Railway Station are very cheap, at 1 yuan per ticket/no one sells tickets, and there are many flights, and the bus signs can be seen.

Visit the Ancient City of Lijiang

This is a classic Naxi wooden structure building, with ancient houses lined with shady trees and winding paths leading to secluded scenery.

Although it looks fierce, it is actually very cute and cute.

Encounter the Celebrity Theme Wax Museum in Lijiang, which is also a landmark in Lijiang. Many people gather here to take photos and meet their favorite stars and celebrities!

After watching the Naxi Dance Dance, I climbed all the way to the alley in the direction of Lion Rock Park and photographed the night of the ancient city.

There is a free viewing platform on Lion Rock Park, where you can see the entire ancient city at night. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera stand and could only shoot this effect.

Lijiang Eternal Love

The play and the live-action performance of "Lijiang Eternal Love" at night made me forget for a long time.

The Songcheng Lijiang Eternal Love Scenic Area echoes the Yulong Snow Mountain. It deeply explores Lijiang's unique local cultural elements, builds four major parks: Tea Horse Ancient City, Nacuozhai, Lijiang Paradise, and Sacrifice Valley, and creates the top ten performing arts "shows" and the top twenty major projects represented by "Lijiang Eternal Love". Song and dance performances that showcase Lijiang's thousand-year-old culture and history can be seen everywhere in the scenic area, allowing you to watch it for a day without any duplication.

In addition to watching the performance of the Eternal Love, there are also many fancy ways to play in the scenic area. I have been playing for a day, and I can't stop clicking, wanting to record everything here.

In addition to the beautiful scenery, there is also an amusement park in the Qianggu Qing Scenic Area, which is especially suitable for parents and children. The exciting ones include large pendulum weights and jumping machines, and the leisurely ones are double-decked merry-go-round and rotating cups. The rapids are the most interesting, even if you are wearing a raincoat. It will be splashed by the flying water.

"Lijiang Love Song" is the most must-miss program except for the love of the ages. It is an open-air live performance and tells the tragic and tragic love story between the Tibetan boy Abda and the Naxi girl Gajimi. It should be noted that there is only one game at 6 p.m. a day and lasts for 20 minutes.

Abda endured the pain and left, but he never expected that the volcano would erupt and the mountain god would be furious. The scene was particularly shocking.

But the road he chose was not feasible, so Abda ran a dead end alone, finally saved the people from fire and water by himself, and sacrificed his own heroic life.

It tells the story of the various hardships that Naxi ancestors encountered in creating human civilization in the long history. In a major disaster, the Naxi race was almost wiped out. Later, with the help of the gods, the Naxi ancestors established their own country.

Act 2 "The Legend of the Horse Gang" The most tragic and tragic is that on the ancient tea-horse road, the sound of hooves is still in our ears. We don't know the names of the horse drivers, but we only know that they have a unified title: horse gang. Lijiang is famous all over the world for its ancient tea-horse road. In a sense, Lijiang's glory is the glory of a horse's hooves.

Lijiang flourished due to the exchange of tea and horses. During the 471 years when Mufu ruled Lijiang, it had good neighborliness and friendship with surrounding ethnic groups, Myanmar, Nepal, India and other countries. As a result, Lijiang has become an economic and cultural hub in the southwest of the motherland. In 1382 AD, the Central Government of the Ming Dynasty awarded the surname "Mu" in recognition of Lijiang's loyalty to the monarch, patriotism, and hard work in governance. When the news came, all ethnic groups and friendly neighbors came to congratulate them one after another!

All kinds of dances are dizzying. There are traditional ones, Indian ones, court-style ones, and Tibetan ones. Behind it is the position of the Tusi, and the overall scene design is to wish the Tusi a happy and long-lasting life. And this grand scene made the audience at the scene exclaim!

Persian girls from afar also brought Persian dances to congratulate the Tusi. The performance has a strong Persian style dance, and uses jade pots as the main dance accompaniment tool. Whether it is hugging or standing, it complements each other. Moreover, on the big screen behind them, there is a bright moonlight environment, which makes this dance more magical.

Act 4: The Jade Dragon Third Country

The Naxi people are a nation that advocates freedom of love. Even if red tape is in front of them, young men and women pursue what they love without hesitation. Gorgeous green light and shadow intertwined and changed. A Naxi man and woman danced in the light and shadow, their clothes fluttering and their dancing was wonderfully. The graceful dance was looming in the gorgeous dance beauty. This scene was very visually impactful and the audience couldn't help but applaud.

Epilogue: Searching for Shambhala

At the end of the search for Shambhala, on the screen, the scenery of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the ancient city appear alternately. The seasons change and the stars change. What remains unchanged is that we are still looking for Shambhala in our hearts.

After a day of play here, I realized that this is not only a simple performing arts venue, but also a condensed version of Lijiang, allowing me to appreciate the culture and characteristics of the Naxi people.

Roaming the ancient town of Shuhe and tasting delicious food

The ancient town of Shuhe is called "Shaowu" in Naxi. Because the mountains behind the village are like piled peaks, the village is named after the mountains, which means "the village under the peak". It is one of the earliest settlements by Naxi ancestors in Lijiang Dam. It is much quieter than the ancient city of Lijiang, less commercial, and more authentic.

There is a big table full and three people are full to eat. This is the most comfortable, tastes best, and has the best environment that I have ever eaten in Lijiang. The restaurants in Shuhe Ancient Town are generally higher than those in Dayan Ancient Town. The price is much more affordable. This time, the restaurant we ate is quite famous locally. Many stars come here to eat when they come to Lijiang. It is satisfying!

In Shuhe Ancient Town, it is very quiet from day to night. Life here is very comfortable, not as prosperous as Dayan Ancient City, but as passionate as Shaxi Ancient Town.
