Walking route: Sifang Contemporary Art Lake District (24 buildings, including Sifang Contemporary Art Museum)-Dushi Temple in Laoshan Forest Park
Satisfied, I left the Sifang Museum of Contemporary Art, which I had been following for a long time, a check-in place for Internet celebrities. Return to today's original plan. My friend told me before that I would come to Laoshan Forest Park. I imagined climbing mountains, but later I learned that their main destination was a temple-Tusita Temple. Being ignorant and ignorant, I even heard of a Tusi Temple in Nanjing for the first time. It turned out that I only knew that there was a very famous Seven Buddhist Temple in Laoshan. I passed by it when I went to Bulao Village during the March 8th Goddess Day event one year. It's the first time I've heard of Tushita Temple. It is located in the Lion Ridge Scenic Area of Laoshan National Forest Park in Pukou District, Nanjing City. When I came to a gate, I thought I had to park my car in the parking lot. I drove to the gate with the intention of giving it a try and asked that the car could continue to drive into the mountains. After passing the gate, the car drove on the mountain path.
There is a narrow cement road in the mountain forest. Only bicycles can enter and exit, making it extremely difficult to ride by car. Fortunately, we didn't encounter any cars coming from the opposite side along the way. We only saw several groups of outdoor mountaineering partners. It seems that they are all hiking Lion Ridge. Mountaineering enthusiasts. Along the way, we rolled down the car windows and breathed the fresh air in the mountains and forests.
While driving on the mountain path, my friend told us about the history of Tusita Temple. The friend first explained the two words "turnover". I think the pronunciation of these two words is very strange. Such a name must have some explanation. Unexpectedly, a friend introduced that "Tusita" is a transliteration of Sanskrit, from Buddhist scriptures, and paraphrased it as "Happiness is the heart to be satisfied with happiness." There is another magical place in Tushita Temple. Tushita Temple is a "Three Don 'ts" Taoist temple: it does not beg for favors, does not operate, and does not sell tickets. Follow the principle that "happiness is the heart to be satisfied with happiness." This is what Master Yuan Lin of the temple has pursued since he took office. Master Yuanlin entered Tuci Temple at the age of 32. After more than 20 years of unremitting efforts, he restored the Tianwang Hall, Sutra Tower, Daci Hall, Sansheng, Samxian, Manjusri and other halls of Tuci Temple one by one, and built Daci Tower in Wolonggang, becoming a landmark building for the peaks of Laoshan. After listening to a friend's introduction, I feel that the Turu in the deep mountains and forests is full of mystery.
I have been driving on the mountain path for a lot of time. I'm so glad I drove in. It's quite a long way on foot. Tushita Temple, built halfway up the mountain, has a stone tablet on one side showing its identity and two stone lions greet each other. We parked our car in the parking lot on the platform.
After parking, what I saw. There is another magical thing about Doushui Temple. There is no gate or wall here. It is completely surrounded by the mountains and forests of Lion Ridge.
On both sides of the stone steps are embossed of auspicious clouds and soaring dragons. Climbing up the stone steps, the first entrance to the temple-the "Tianwang Hall".
Behind the Tianwang Hall is a release pool, and the second main building, the Daxiong Hall, is behind the release pool.
Continuing the stone steps up is another platform. Although Tusita Temple has high mountains and long roads, as long as it is a temple, no matter how deserted it is, there will always be tourists and pilgrims. They piously light incense and place their hopes on it.
Daxiong Hall is the core building of the temple.

There is a high staircase on one side and continues up
After going up the stairs is another platform, with a porch on one side.
Enter again through this door, return to the main building of the temple and continue to wander around.
There is a platform behind the Daxiong Hall. On the platform, two stone lions guard the Sutra Building.
The third entrance behind the Daxiong Hall is the Sutra Tower.
The majesty of this temple can be seen from the platform in front of the Buddhist Sutra Tower. The temple is located in the hinterland of Lion Ridge, secluded in the mountains, ethereal and quiet.
The temple currently has temples and dozens of houses. The entire construction is surrounded by mountains and undulating.
The temple is surrounded by endless mountains and dense forests, where you can experience the tranquility and scenery of birds singing and mountains.

In a solemn place in the mountains and forests, a "Buddha" makes people feel peaceful
The halls of Dushi Temple have red walls and red tiles, and many halls use this bright yellow color.
Compared with temples in many scenic spots, the temple is not gorgeous or grand, but it reveals the simplicity of the countryside. The alleys in front of the house and behind the house are like the alleys next door.
All the temples in Doushui Temple are simple seminary-style bungalows, without any sense of extravagance, retaining nature and the deity.
I feel warm under the light and shadow
Walking here, the strange thing about it is that you can't hear Sanskrit sound up and down, but it can make people unconsciously calm down and calm down. Perhaps this is the artistic conception and realm of what the Buddha said in his heart!
A complete set of incense burners, towers and halls is standard
The side hall is an exquisite "Three Temples".
Is this tree with white flowers in early spring a cherry blossom?

Imagine what kind of pure and simple life it takes to live here?
This is another gate to the temple, passing through here and leaving the main building complex of the temple.
Looking back at this side, the "Tusi Temple" on the lintel
There is a stone tablet reading "Amitabha Buddha" on the small hill opposite, and there are also houses built on the hill.
There is a small pavilion standing here, and there is a small mountain road on one side that can continue up. You can see the tower on Lion Ridge far away from the foot of the mountain. I was very curious to get closer and have a look, so I asked the local people at the entrance of the Tianwang Hall. The locals told us that there is a mountain road behind the temple that leads us up the mountain to get close to Daci Pagoda. The mountain road is here.
I climbed up the mountain without hesitation. The two friends hesitated, discussed for a while and followed.
From Tousi Temple to Daci Pagoda is a bumpy mountain road, a real wild road with no steps, and jungles on both sides, with branches growing everywhere. Now I remember that I saw several mountain climbers when I first drove into the mountains. It turned out that they were the hikers who had crossed the mountain on this wild path. The angle of the mountain is steep, which cannot be compared with the tourist facilities of Zijin Mountain, which we often visit, but it is precisely because of this wild taste that makes it more attractive.
Friends helped each other up
To reach the top, in fact, this wild road is not long, just steep. Does it seem high?
Looking up at the Daci Tower built on the top of the mountain, it is constructed of concrete and masonry.
It is dedicated to a Buddha and is a 7-story hollow tower.
I walked around the tower.
Because it was a hollow tower, I couldn't climb the tower and see further. I was a little unwilling, so I found a big stone and climbed it, hoping to have a heroic view of the mountains.
The helpless thing is that the mountains and forests here are really dense, and the branches are blocked and you can't see the outside world.
I could only take another look at Daci Tower descending the mountain.
As the saying goes,"It is easy to go up the mountain, but difficult to go down the mountain." This mountain road proves this point. But with my strong physique and good lower limb strength, I quickly completed the process of going down the mountain. I returned to the parking lot in 13 minutes and waited for my two companions in the mountain breeze.
The mountain breeze in the evening became a little cool, so I had time to stop and think while waiting for my companions. Running through the city, we walked into this quiet meditation forest surrounded by ancient trees. The tranquility in the temple infected me, and my heart was calm and grateful. The purpose of walking is to discover the scenery along the way. I am a person who likes to walk, but even in the city I am familiar with, there are still many places that I have not set foot in. The scenery is not far away, but in your own hearts and eyes. In this beautiful city of Nanjing, we walked, experienced and discovered the endless charm of this city.
