Driving along the beautiful 207 County Road when I came out of Sujia Wenchuang Town in Xiangbian, I saw this iconic village sign-Zhumen at the intersection with Gaolouzi Road. According to legend, Zhumen was granted the title of "Seventy Town Outside Zhonghua Gate, and Zhumen is the first town" by Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty. In 1368 AD, after Zhu Yuanzhang made the capital Nanjing, for the safety of the capital Nanjing, he built an Acropolis 50 miles away from Nanjing, a transportation hub for Jiangsu and Anhui. Because Zhu Yuanzhang often came here to inspect, it naturally became a place where officials received their rides. In order to welcome Zhu Yuanzhang's holy ride, local officials painted all the doors of Zhu Gate's houses red. This is where the "Zhu Gate" came from.

We followed the navigation to the village. Most of the houses of farmers are courtyard-style. The farmyards are neat, with fruit trees and landscape trees everywhere, and various flowers, plants and lush bamboo forests are dotted among them. The alleys in the village are not wide and have the artistic conception of winding paths leading to secluded areas, sometimes only allowing one car to pass through. We didn't stay in the residential area much, but just headed east along the narrow village road.

The east side of the village suddenly became clear, with rolling straight mountains, and a reservoir hidden in the rolling mountains. There is an open area under the reservoir dam.

The green bamboo forest is swaying, rows of green tea trees are lined up on the hillside, and large pieces of rapeseed flowers are in full bloom at the foot of the mountain.
