I drove a 500-kilometer round trip for two consecutive weekends. When I came back from Suzhou on the weekend of the second week, I felt physically tired and warned myself to adjust and rest. No longer travel far this weekend, just sit down. I didn't go downstairs all day on Saturday. I couldn't help but feel the good sunshine on Sunday morning. I had to choose a place to stroll and find a place that was not far away and not tired!

March, the cherry blossom season in Nanjing, and Jimingsi Road is the most popular tourist destination. Because he has never been a lively person, he chose Jiuhuashan Park adjacent to it. A tower on Jiuhua Mountain is very eye-catching and can be seen from many angles in Nanjing. For decades in Nanjing, I have only seen this tower from a distance. This year, I had the idea of coming here to take a closer look at it and fill this gap on my tourist map. Get off at Jiuhuashan Station on Line 4. Exit the subway and you will find Jiuhuashan Road.

Nanjing is so beautiful. You can see the scenery when you go out. The red stems and yellow leaves are also so beautiful.

There is a hill at the end of Jiuhua Mountain Road, and at the foot of the mountain is the gate of Jiuhua Mountain Park. The stone archway has four pillars and three doors. The five characters "Jiuhuashan Park" are written on the plaque of the archway. The capital is decorated with a beautiful table. The archway is equipped with vermilion gates. There are a pair of stone lions and a pair of Buddhist dragon elephants on both sides of the main entrance.

After a few steps, pass the archway, enter the mountain gate, and climb up the stone steps.

Corresponding to the mountain gate in the middle of the platform is Xuanzang Temple.

The front hall of Xuanzang Temple is a small courtyard, and on the west side of the courtyard is the temple's Wuguan Hall, where the monks of the temple eat vegetarian meals.

On the east side is the guest hall of Xuanzang Temple.

Returning to the platform in front of the temple, devout pilgrims burned incense and prayed in front of the incense burner.

Continue climbing the mountain from the mountain road on the right side of Xuanzang Temple. View the buildings of Xuanzang Temple from the side. The temple is hidden in the mountains, surrounded by flowers and trees.

The halls and pavilions, rubble and crooked corners, tall trees and weak February orchids are implicit and warm, showing the harmony, tranquility and charm given by the changing combination.

Continue along the steps to the top of Jiuhua Mountain. From afar, you can see the tower on the top of the mountain and a statue at the end of the steps.

At the end of the steps, a bronze statue of Xuanzang's entire body is erected amidst the green trees. The bronze statue of Xuanzang is currently the largest size bronze statue of Master Xuanzang in Asia.

I can finally have a closer look at the Sanzang Pagoda. The Sanzang Pagoda was built in 1943 in memory of the Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang. There is a five-story pavilions-style blue brick tower on the circular platform. The brick is built of imitation wood. The tower body has four sides and five floors. Each floor of the tower has four arched doors.

Standing on the platform to view the city, the tall building in the distance is the Zifeng Building.

A few steps up to the base of the platform, Sanzang looks straight at the tower. The lower part of the ground floor of the tower is decorated with stone skirts, and four semicircular arches are opened on the ground floor.
The three words "Sanzang Pagoda" are engraved on the blue bricks on the southern tower wall of the first floor. The ticket is embedded with a stone edge, and the stone edge is engraved with patterns. The tower gate is enclosed by wooden fences. In the center of the tower chamber is a lotus stone seat engraved with the words "Master Xuanzang's Spiritual Bone". There is a square stone box on the seat, which is where Xuanzang's roof bone is stored. The people praying in front of the tower are pious and attentive.

On the top of the mountain on the west side of Sanzang Pagoda, there is a Liuhe Pavilion with six-corner double eaves and cone spires. The pavilion is decorated with carved beams and painted buildings and is antique.

In the center of the pavilion, there is a Liuhe Bell, named "Liuhe", which symbolizes the peace of the country and the peace of the people, and the weather is smooth.

The platform of Liuhe Pavilion is the best viewing platform for Jiuhua Mountain. Looking around, what you see in front of you is a beautiful scroll of the city with mountains and rivers.

Standing on the viewing platform and looking east, you can see the towering Zhongshan peaks and boundless forests.

To the north is Xuanwu Lake, which has a long wind and waves of waves.

The ancient Ming city wall runs along the mountains and is simple and thick. The lakes and mountains in front of me, and the autumn water share the same color as the sky, and I feel comfortable.

The sky is crisp and crisp, and all the beautiful scenery can be caught in your eyes. The Nanjing Railway Station, the Sun Palace, and the small bridge in Xuanwu Lake that we are familiar with all appeared in front of us in another posture.

Looking south is the city of Nanjing with many high-rise buildings.

On the north side of the mountain there is a Tibetan Temple. This temple is very special, sitting west and facing east.

Jiuhua Mountain is only 61 meters high, but it is the first hill in the west of Zhongshan Mountain. Climbing to the top and looking far away, the mountain shape surrounds Xuanwu Lake, and the ancient Ming city wall runs against the mountain like a jade belt. There are temples in the mountains, towers on the top of the mountains, lakes on the sides of the mountains, and cities at the foot of the mountains. The trees are lush, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant.

Looking at Jiuhua Mountain from this perspective, the mountain is as steep as a cut, like a capsized boat, so in ancient times, it was called Chaoshan Mountain. The Liuhe Pavilion on the top of the mountain echoes the Sanzang Pagoda, adding to the three-dimensional effect of the mountain.

With the mountains, you can see the scenery from different angles, which has a unique taste.

Keep walking, Jiuhua Mountain, which is in a busy city, is a happy citizen park. There are fitness equipment and health trails here. In addition to the beautiful scenery, it also provides citizens with more service-oriented facilities.

At the bottom of Jiuhuashan Mountain, there is the Jiuhuashan Tunnel named after the mountain. It passes through Xuanwu Lake to reach Xinzhuang Hub. It is an important channel on the east line of the Nanjing Expressway Inner Ring. This location is on top of the Jiuhuashan Tunnel, so there is a monument commemorating the construction of the Jiuhuashan Tunnel and a statue of the twelve zodiac animals.

Arriving at the Taiping Gate, I looked at the Purple Mountain and the buildings of the city through the blooming mountain flowers. The picture was beautiful.

Jiuhuashan Park is not big and the mountains are not high. The mountain shape and dragon veins are overlooking the mountains and rivers city and the forest. You can get the beauty of the mountains and rivers without going out of the city. This is precisely the best place to view Jinling.

Because the surrounding Xuanwu Lake, Jiming Temple, and Ming City Wall are all more famous than it is, there are few tourists here. Most of them are local citizens who stroll around when they have nothing to do. Therefore, there is no bustling crowd here. It is in a busy city but it is quiet in the mountains and forests.

The environment in the garden is elegant, quiet and beautiful. Being in it is like being isolated from the outside world. Watching the coming and going on the city wall on Jiuhua Mountain, the bustling passers-by, am I not a passer-by?
