Get up at 8 o'clock and the hotel breakfast is very rich and reaches a five-star level.

After breakfast, I went back to my room to rest for a while and took a swim in the hotel.

Check-out at 10:30 and take a taxi to Zhanyuan.

Zhanyuan is the first garden in Jinling and the largest existing Ming Dynasty garden in Nanjing.

The present Zhanyuan is divided into two parts, one part is the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Museum and the other part is the landscape garden.

When entering Zhanyuan, you will first arrive at the Taiping Rebellion Museum, where you will introduce the history of the Taiping Rebellion and visit some relics.

Then comes the Ming Dynasty gardens. Zhanyuan is much larger than some gardens in Suzhou. The rockery, small lakes and pavilions are reasonably distributed. Take a stroll and see the residences of large households.

After leaving Zhanyuan, walk to Confucius Temple Qinhuai River

When we arrived at Confucius Temple, it began to rain under the influence of Typhoon Meihua.

Affected by the epidemic, there were many snacks near the Confucius Temple before, and the streets were crowded on foot, let alone driving, but now many snack bars and snack squares have closed.

The rain stopped, so we continued to walk towards Xiaoxihu.

Xiaoxihu is a newly developed small literary and artistic attraction, and this is my first visit.

There are many specialty coffee shops, teahouses and restaurants in Xiaoxihu, but there are also no tourists, and the shops are basically empty.

Continue walking to Laomen East. Laomen East is a relatively mature ancient street-like attraction. There are many more people here than Xiaoxihu.

Walking around, and visiting from time to time in the shower.

Lunch at 1:30 at Nanjing Food Stall Laodongmen Store, the taste was average.

Finally, walk to the subway station, Line 3 to Nanjing Station.

The high-speed train returns to Shanghai at 3 o'clock.

The half-day itinerary was very tight. I wanted to have afternoon tea in Laomen East and spend a leisurely afternoon, but it could not be implemented due to time constraints. The next time you come to Nanjing, you will have enough time to record your Nanjing travel diary again.
