When I was visiting Tangshan Mining Park a few days ago, I brought back a guide map of Tangshan Hot Spring Tourist Resort from the park's tour center. Because I live in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing, it is convenient to go to Tangshan, so I came back and looked through it carefully. Tangshan is located in Tangshan Street, Jiangning District, Nanjing City. Tangshan is named after the hot springs and has a history of more than 1500 years. It is one of the four major hot springs in China and is known as the "Millennium Holy Soup, Health Paradise". In the past few years, we will build it into a world hot spring town model.

Tangshan Hot Spring Town not only has hot spring hotels such as Ziqing Lake Resort, Xiangzhang Huaping Hot Spring Hotel, and Yishang Hot Spring Resort, but also Tangjiajia Hot Spring B & B Village. The guide map uses a page to introduce each B & B, including a picture of the B & B, the name and contact number of the B & B, which is simple and detailed. I read an article written by someone introducing a public foot bath in Tangjiajia Village. The weather in Nanjing reached 20 degrees in the early days, but the temperature dropped in the past two days and my down jacket is on again. I thought we would set off here to soak our feet today! After looking at the map, let's stop by Ziqing Lake to have a look first. I have always heard from friends who live in Tangshan that you can also see the Ziqing Lake under the lakes and mountains without taking a hot spring.

Nanjing-Hangzhou Highway, Provincial Highway 122, and County Road 426. When you turned into the internal road, you knew that this trip was in vain. Before coming here, I knew that the hot spring area here would definitely not be open, but I didn't expect that all areas here would be closed. I'm not disappointed. I'm used to being rejected under such circumstances. The car didn't even stop, so we reset the "Tangjia Family" to set out. The two places are less than three kilometers apart. When you see this doll with a croissant braid and two big feet on the provincial highway of Tonglong Road, you know that there was no mistake. In a parking lot next to me, I parked my car and got off the car. I found that it didn't look like that. Why was it demolished everywhere and the road was full of construction waste? What happened? There was no one, not even a person asking. Decided to get on the car and continue driving around.

The initial scene made me suspicious. I drove along the village road to the north side of Tanglong Road, left the demolished area in the parking lot, and slowly saw the first sight. Seeing this sign, you know that you have not found the wrong place.

The entire village is built along the natural hillside. Drive to turn and go uphill and continue deep along this east-west village road.

There are several cars parked on this road, and we also followed the trend to park the cars here and get off to take a closer look. The elegant door face of "Yunshe" is as pure as white clouds.

Directly opposite Yunshe is a blue-and-white Mediterranean-style B & B-Meiquan Bathing Culture B & B.

Climbing up the stairs, there is a white main building, blue doors and window mullions, and the blue and white tones are pure and beautiful.

The fancy tables and chairs in the small courtyard are matched with pots of cute potted flowers, giving a European flavor.

Cactus and chrysanthemums sharing the same room also has unexpected artistic conception.

Further back you will find the houses of ordinary villagers.

The pastoral scenery in the cottages. This originally original village now relies on the overall construction opportunity of Tangshan Hot Spring Town. Some houses in the village have been transformed or rebuilt into individual B & Bs with their own characteristics. A village with B & Bs and private houses was formed.

I met this B & B at the end of Huanzhen North Road-Dongxia. I didn't feel special just looking at "Winter and Summer", but I saw the comment below "Private Tang and Beautiful Villa of Young Master Su and Miss Xia". I felt that it was a unique story and went in to find out.

In the middle of the large courtyard is a pool, which must also be a hot spring pool.

A big tree on the left hand side of the yard hides a glass wooden house. On the platform, it says,"People who want to eat with you love to eat sweet and sour, and people who want to meet you are free in winter and summer." It is a real saying. Vernacular.

There are stairs on one side that can lead to the second floor and the platform on the third floor.

Standing on the platform, you can see that next to his home is the Companion Garden Hotel. You can see that this is a B & B next to each other, with many choices.

Overlooking the village

The view here is very good, and you can overlook the three-dimensional plan of winter and summer. Its territory is not small. In addition to accommodation, you can also have a party here.

The third floor looks at the second floor. The fancy floor tiles on the platform on the second floor are very beautiful.

Fusheng, many B & Bs here are named after this philosophy of life.

Arriving at the south end of the village, there is a B & B with half an acre of private soup.

The lower half of the building complex is Chinese-style white walls, with elegant ink paintings, wooden doors and eaves, and red lanterns hanging under the eaves, which is authentic in Chinese style. But the upper half is made of glass and wooden grillles and covered with a "hat" on the eaves, which is very unique.

This hand-drawn map was found at the south end of the road. We spent most of the day thinking about some general situations. Tangjiajia Hot Spring Village is not big. It was originally an ordinary village in Tangshan. Because Tangshan is rich in geothermal resources, the hot spring pipes of the Tangjia family are connected to every household, and every household is connected to hot spring water. Therefore, most of the houses in this ordinary village in the heart of the world's hot spring town have been converted into B & Bs. It can be said that there is a hot spring B & B within three to five steps. Tangjia family was gradually transformed into a B & B village.

The owner of a B & B may not be a local, but due to the renovation of the B & B village, locals are also more involved in the operation. In addition to the specialty B & Bs, there are also many locals who use their original houses to open meals. The overall economic situation in the village was driven up.

Turn right along the village road. On one side are fields, and on the other side is a B & B connected to each other.

The foyer is white minimalist, and a bench is waiting! The words on the wall also tell us what it is waiting for.

The white main body, black window mullions, and red canopy are dotted, everything is so simple and clear. There is a service center on one side, and there is a stairway platform on one side of the service center.

The rooms all have their own patio. The beautiful bonsai built on the terrace is the only decoration here. I like the simplicity.

Take another picture here outside the courtyard wall of the "Right House". Each room has large floor-to-ceiling windows with its own balcony, and a large terrace upstairs for reading, drinking coffee and basking in the sun. Outside the door is an idyllic scenery, and everything you can see makes your mood extremely clear.

Next to the "right house" is the "flower building left neighbor". The two are like brothers, with the same appearance and temperament.

A clear and refreshing appearance

Neighboring, there are two three-story fresh-style B & B buildings with white walls and gray tiles and clean. They are like family members, with basically the same contents and furnishings, but each has its own characteristics.

After pushing open the bamboo door, there is a clean courtyard. An orange tree is in the middle of the courtyard. On one side is the display and seating area, and on the other side is the guest room.

In addition to B & Bs, the houses here are also very artistic, with scattered walls and flowered windows on the walls. The grass on the wall is very artistic.

The "offline" inn is very distinctive. One side of the courtyard is made of blue bricks and the other side is made of bamboo. Push open the wooden door and enter the courtyard. It has a unique house and feels like a villa. Although it is a small building. But the courtyard is huge and the location is high, making people feel very comfortable! The "offline" state is also what we look forward to. Online life is targeted efforts and enrichment; offline state is the release and self of small willfulness.

I walked both horizontally and vertically in the village, one B & B after another, but only limited to the exterior or courtyard. Another characteristic of Tangjia's B & Bs is privacy. If you want to get to know more, you have to try them out one by one, haha. However, judging from the exterior and courtyard, the accommodation styles here still have their own merits. If you are in the mood in the future, you can try the accommodation experience one by one. Living under this gable wall, enjoying the warmth of the dense hot spring water, feeling the whimper of the gurgling water, and listening to the sound of the breeze blowing through the valley, all senses are mobilized to take a journey of emptying your body and mind. But at this time of year, it is extremely cold here. Many B & Bs only have people waiting at the customer service desk. Some courtyards have no one seen them. Some courtyards even have their doors closed. This imaginary season should be a season when they are crowded with people.

We were unwilling to solve the doubts we had when we first arrived at the village and crossed the small bridge.

I once read about having foot soup baths here, but I didn't find them. I guess this is the place. But now all we see is a large construction site.

Tangjiajia Hot Spring Village is a Taoyuan land surrounded by green mountains and clear waters. It is also a famous hot spring village. The underground here is full of rich hot spring resources. However, there was no construction on the Tangjia construction site in 2020, and it is currently in a state of stagnation. Only by crossing the small bridge and going deep into the village can you feel the style of the B & B village. But the appearance at this time must not be its original state. Because of the impact of the epidemic, it feels like everything here is in a slow-paced and almost static state. But this is also good. It allows us to see the other side of the B & B village that has never existed, the tranquility without any interference, the original self. But I still hope it will return to normal soon. I will come again and see its true self again.
