The trip to Nanjing was purely a temporary idea. I had been busy for several months. When I was free, I wanted to go out for a walk. It wasn't important where I went. The important thing was to go, just in time to catch up with friends to do things nearby. I hit it off and I basically didn't hesitate at all. If you buy a ticket and set your itinerary, you can go leisurely.
Based on the vague memory of more than 20 years ago, Nanjing seems to have only left a few fragments in my mind. The high steps on the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, the Yuhua Stones everywhere in front of the Yuhua Terrace, and the statue of Confucius Confucius standing in the Confucius Temple are combined with their palms and looking into the distance with wisdom. I don't plan to visit these old places again this time. After some online research, Nanjing's tourism industry has developed quite rapidly in recent years. I opened Baidu map to get a rough understanding of Nanjing's main attractions. Among them, one river (Qinhuai River), one city (Ming City Wall), one lake (Xuanwu Lake) and one mountain (Zhongshan Scenic Area) are the most famous. Laomen East and Nanjing Eye, which have been built in recent years, are also regarded as Internet celebrity check-in spots. It is impossible to finish the tour in two days, so you can only choose its essence and take a quick look at it.
The location of the hotel is very good. Jinjiang Capital Confucius Temple Qinhuai Classic Store is only a five-minute walk from the Confucius Temple commercial district. It is also very convenient to snack bars, supermarkets, subway, and taxis nearby. I highly recommend it. Although the lobby is small, it is quite unique. The rich scholarly atmosphere and the colorful lights create a different visual effect.
Eat enough and stroll all the way to the Fuzimiao Pedestrian Street, which is basically the same model as the ancient town commercial street in the country. However, because this business district has the cultural heritage of the Qinhuai River in it, it is quite famous. The ten-mile Qinhuai River is also the essence of the Qinhuai scenery belt. If you boat along the Qinhuai River, you can enjoy the former residences of celebrities, historical relics, bridges, lanterns, and famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River along the coast. The pleasure boat is 60 yuan per person during the day and 80 yuan per person at night. I wanted to sit there, but there were too many people in line. We only looked into the distance from the river for a while. When night came, we looked at the lanterns and the noise of people, and the breeze on the river. The sparkling water in the river is a beautiful scenery.
We did not take the cable car up the mountain. We took a taxi directly up the mountain from the Gangzi Village Subway Station. It took a few minutes to reach the door. The ticket is fifteen. After entering the door, we climbed the stone steps for five minutes to reach the visiting area. There are astronomy pictures, meteorite museums, photography exhibitions, oil painting exhibitions and some popular science knowledge in several exhibition areas. This place is cool and quiet, with few people, and has some humanities and sciences. Even non-professionals can know a thing or two. It is very suitable for bringing children to learn about it.
After browsing several indoor exhibition halls, several stone steps went straight up to the topmost platform. A refreshing breeze came and my eyes suddenly became clear. This is the place where Zijin Mountain really shocked me. Standing here, I can overlook Nanjing City. On one side, there is a panoramic view of Zhongshan Mountain, overlooking Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. On the other side, there is Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area. It is clear of lakes and mountains, high views, and panoramic views of the urban landscape. The feeling of seeing the world made me instantly understand why mountain climbers are so obsessed with climbing. In addition, the weather is 100,000 points, cool and humid, and the breeze is blowing. In such a midsummer, with such cool and pleasant weather, and such beautiful scenery in front of me, how can it be so refreshing? At this moment, I just want the cool breeze to blow my skirt, and I am so intoxicated in this beautiful scenery that I cannot wake up...
After going down the mountain, I wanted to go to the Nanshan Botanical Garden at the foot of the mountain to see the tropical succulent plants, but I had no choice but to close the garden and rest. I had no choice but to find another place with regret. As the afternoon was approaching, I was hungry and headed straight to the Nanjing Food Stall Shiziqiao Store. I had done a strategy on the Internet before and I also knew that Nanjing Food Stall is quite famous in Nanjing. Most of them were created by tourism and cultural tourists. However, I still went with the mentality that if I didn't want to taste it, it would be like that if I tasted it without regrets, I would probably be it. My friends think it doesn't make much sense for me to follow the strategy to find this kind of Internet celebrity snack every time, but I think the significance of the journey is to discover the unknown, and the process of looking for it is the happiest, even if the result is disappointing. It is not an experience in vain. After all, I have been here, looking for it, and experienced it.
However, although this Nanjing food stall is called a stall, its decoration and services are exquisite, its menu is simple and exquisite, and the taste and price are fair. However, the amount is slightly smaller. Compared with most scenic spots, it is a conscientious seller. It is worthwhile to visit here to get a card. In addition, I am really hungry. After the wind and clouds, I will come back to pot old flower carvings and finally return satisfied.
After foraging, enter the Xuanwu Lake Park nearby from Xuanwu Gate. You can enter by showing the health code at the door. The park is large, and you can choose to walk or take a battery car. It is basically the same as the East Lake and West Lake. There are lotus flowers in the park. Exhibition, standing by the lake, you can also see Nanjing's tallest landmark building. Simply turn around to enjoy the scenery in the park, and go straight to the next destination.
After swimming all the way, there was still a Nanjing Eye that I had been thinking about before. Looking at the navigation, I saw that I had traveled more than ten kilometers. I was tired at this time, so I decisively gave up and left a thought as a destination for the next time I had the opportunity to come again. Isn't life about finally achieving perfection through repeated regrets, so I also have to learn to abandon the obsessions in my heart, so that I can feel relaxed and happy. When I returned home, I saw that it was still early, so I went to the core area of the Fuzimiao business district for a casual tour. It was a wise choice to see the dazzling night view. On the way, I passed Xinjiekou, which is also one of Nanjing's iconic areas. It is bustling and bustling. Every city has such a commercial district that sells the same products across the country and attracts tourists from all over the country.
Take a night off, sleep until you wake up naturally in the morning, and walk to another scenic spot,"Laomen East". This is Nanjing's emerging historical and cultural district. Because it is located east of Zhonghua Gate, it is called "Gate East". It is not as famous as the Confucius Temple, and there are not so many bustling crowds. On the premise of respecting the authenticity of culture, the developers have protected and repaired Jiang Shoushan's former residence and Fu Shanxiang's former residence, Tidiao Mansion, Junhui Academy, and are still in Santiaoying, Zhongying, Bianying has restored a number of residential courtyards with the characteristics of the south of the old city. The winding old streets and alleys are criss-crossed. The ancient houses with Jiangnan characteristics on both sides of the alleys are stacked on top of each other and integrated. Walking quietly on the bluestone brick road, I feel the blood of the old Nanjing people flows through this brick, brick, bridge and well.
A few steps from the east of Laomen, you can reach the Zhonghua Gate Wall to see the surrounding city view. The city wall is wide and tall, and it will probably take a whole day to swim all of it. We only made a simple tour of Zhonghua Gate Weng City. It is said that the entire Weng City has 27 soldiers hiding caves, which can hide more than 3,000 soldiers. Moreover, this is the largest Weng City in the world today, and occupies an extremely important position in terms of military, history, culture and urban construction history. Under the city wall is Laomen East. Standing here and looking over, there is only a silent roof left, far away from the noisy market and experiencing the rare tranquility in the city.
Standing at the head of the city wall, looking at the top of the Da Baoen Temple from afar, I reluctantly bid farewell to my trip to Jinling. Half of my life's journey is pursuing all kinds of beauty on the road, and I'm looking forward to pursuing another kind of beauty next time with a cup of green plum!
