In 2020, we should remember the difficult years of our lives.

In June, I hadn't traveled for more than half a year. With the endless long rainy season coupled with the lingering aftermath of the COVID-19 epidemic, I was extremely eager to go out and take a walk.

However, various objective circumstances led to the final decision to travel by car. Instead of walking far, he would go to Nanjing for a stroll and relax.

On the morning of June 15, 2020, after starting from Shanghai and entering the Jiangsu section of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, there was heavy rain. However, no matter how heavy the rain was, it could not shake our determination to go to Baixiang (Playing):)

In the afternoon, I finally arrived at my destination, Nanjing Zifeng Building

We stayed at the hotel here for this trip and made a reservation in advance at Ctrip. Transportation is extremely convenient, and the subway station is downstairs.

The strange shape of Zifeng Building was imprinted in my mind the last time I came to Nanjing. The last time I stayed in Xinjiekou, the hotel's services and facilities were much worse than the hotel this time.

Park the car, pack up your bags, and officially start our trip to Nanjing.

Take Line 4 from Gulou Subway Station downstairs, heading for Xianlin Lake, and you will reach Jimingsi Station one stop away.

After the subway came out, the mobile navigation began to get confused and took us around this ancient building.

Finally, I have to ask passers-by. Occasionally, the delivery boy is more reliable than mobile phone navigation. Just turn around and you will find the Ancient Jiming Temple: )

Due to the epidemic, only a part of the temple was opened for pilgrims, and a one-way route was strictly stipulated.

Pay homage to incense, worship Buddha, brainstorm "The Record of the Fenghua of the Ming Dynasty" and visit ancient buildings...

Although it rained, there were still many pilgrims, and the majority of them were female pilgrims. It is said that the ancient Jiming Temple was quite effective in seeking marriage, haha...

Jiming Temple in the rain also has a unique taste. Due to the small open area, it quickly left the temple. The Ming City Wall Scenic Area is on the left

Ming City Wall, look carefully at the wall bricks, this should be a feature

No wonder the city wall built almost 600 years ago is still standing there with high spirits.

The water area in the photo is Xuanwu Lake, and you will immediately enter the misty and misty Xuanwu Lake

The sycamore trees in Xuanwu Lake are intoxicating every time I come here.

The lotus flower looks like it is fresh and refined

The cosmos is full and gorgeous, as if it is remembering the past spring or enjoying the beauty of its youth

Xuanwu Lake was originally the training ground of the Ming Dynasty Navy. It covers a large area. Walk slowly along the road and walk to the boy praying Guanyin.

I saw Xuanwu Gate

The Xuanwu Gate where Li Shimin mutiny is in Xi'an. It is definitely not the Xuanwu Gate in Nanjing. However, every time I come here, I can always hear someone telling the story of Emperor Taizong to my companions. The plot is similar. The storytellers are all boys (from greasy uncle to young fresh meat), and the people listening to the book are all girls (from young girls to square dancing ladies). Haha, I'm so laughing...

Today, there was heavy rain in Nanjing, and after driving for a long time, I felt a little tired. It was time to go back to the hotel to rest and rest. When the Gulou subway station came out, the rain stopped, so I quickly took out my camera and mobile phone to keep the exterior view of the building.

For dinner, I don't want to go far. In Zifeng Square next to me, there is a Nanjing restaurant that is definitely worth eating.
I ate it, very down-to-earth.

We don't take pictures of what we eat. We have always been in awe of food. Each porridge and rice is hard-won and should not be touched. Right?

On June 16, 2020, I originally planned to eat Nanjing small wontons for breakfast. Nanjing small wontons are often recommended by our TV station there. However, I was confused by the epidemic, so I gave up the idea and came to eat next time.

The king bed in the hotel is still very comfortable, and the bedding in their home is indeed first-class. Being able to sleep until you wake up naturally, bedding is important, but people are more important, right?

Today's rain has subsided a lot, and at noon, I'm going out to go out for the waves.

It's still Metro Line 4. Stop 1 at Jimingsi Station and change to Metro Line 3. Stop 2 at Daxinggong Station. Turn a corner and you will find the Presidential Palace.

Which predecessor's calligraphy treasure belonged to these three characters was once a mystery that existed for 66 years. It was recently verified that it was written by Zhou Zhongyue. However, how many passers-by enter play every day nowadays, and how many people care about this issue?

The world is for the public.

After waiting for a long time, I waited until there was no one around, so I quickly took pictures. I wonder if those people who have been taking photos with this plaque in an endless stream know what "the world is for the public" means. I'm afraid they don't even bother to use Baidu. They just take a photo and post it to their circle of friends to announce,"I'm here"...

This shot is very interesting.

Senzi Building, you can see this building in many film and television works.

The garden of the presidential palace is still very artistic.

Quiet water pavilion,

This lion has a little skin...

Turn right out of the door and you will find the 1912 block.

Grab some snacks and continue shopping. The rain continues to fall, but it is not too heavy anymore. Next stop, go to Da Baoen Temple.

At Daxinggong Subway Station, take 1 stop on Line 2 to Xinjiekou, turn to Line 1 and take 3 stops to get off at Zhonghuamen Station. When you get off the subway, you will see the glass tower of Dabaoen Temple. Coming out of this subway station, it was the dirtiest street I had ever seen in Nanjing. I couldn't be bothered to find the bus stop and walked towards the glass pagoda. In fact, it's not far. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the Dabaoen Temple Ruins Park.

This park was built later, so it is called the Ruins Park. There are only a very small number of remains left in it. For example, this tower turned out to be an extremely exquisite and spectacular glazed pagoda. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by internal strife in the Taiping Rebellion and was burned, leaving only a glazed arch frame for future generations to imagine the whole picture.

and very few widgets.

Modern people have no way to rebuild it as it is. Now a steel structure glass tower has been built on the original site, which is a commemoration

However, there are still some ideas and standards in the design and construction of this scenic spot. From a modern aesthetic point of view, many places are still worth checking in.

In any case, the Dabaoen Temple site is worth visiting. Once you come, you will realize firsthand how important it is to let farmers 'children read as much as possible. Sorrow.

It turned out that I planned to watch the night view of the glass tower lights. Unfortunately, there were no commercial facilities around when I came out of Dabaoen Temple to eat or coffee. I couldn't wait. I imagined the scene of the light show and went to Laomen East to find food.

The tourist line at the entrance of the scenic spot may have been suspended due to the epidemic and scanning the QR code failed. However, it doesn't matter. There is a bus stop next to it, and the bus can also go to the old gate East. It is very convenient for two stops. The bus enters through the city wall from the Zhonghua Gate, which is quite interesting.

This archway is suitable for checking in for a visit here. The entire area should be developed and renovated on the basis of the preserved old neighborhoods. Many cities were once keen on such projects, and some buildings are worth seeing. Many girls wear Hanfu and take photos here, and the effect should not be bad.

Most of these houses are used as B & Bs. Under the impact of the epidemic, most of them closed their doors to say goodbye to their guests.

This carved lintel and window should be old, but it doesn't look like the original one: )

There are still a few open sporadically,

However, most of the shops are not open, and the plan to find something to eat here has to be changed. The benefits of free travel have become more prominent. There are fewer people and it is easier to do things, so we can leave as soon as we say. We go out of Laomen East and stroll along Madao Street to go to the bottle restaurant in Sinanli recommended by local friends. The river bank scenery along the way is quite good

Bottle Restaurant and the little cook who specially visited Nanjing last time were recommended by local friends. The dishes and tastes are very good, especially the prices are reasonable.

Xinan Lane is near the Confucius Temple, so I changed my itinerary again and decided to go to the Confucius Temple for a stroll after dinner. Anyway, the rain stopped in the afternoon, so I could just take a walk to digest food (I really had a lot to eat):)

There are many people in the Confucius Temple at night

The night view is also good. The lighting of the academy is very good and it looks quite comfortable.

Walking around, you will reach the Fuzimiao Subway Station. Line 3 will take 4 stops to Jimingsi Station and transfer to Line 4 for 1 stop to reach the hotel smoothly.

If a city forms a network of subways, the subway is definitely the most correct first choice for urban transportation. We should really be grateful for this era. The construction and development over the years have actually improved people's living standards in many aspects.

On June 17, 2020, it finally turned sunny to cloudy, but the temperature also jumped. Today is the last day of wandering around Nanjing. The plan is to visit the Zhongshan Scenic Area and then take the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway home.

Naturally, we sleep until we wake up naturally. After breakfast, we check out and pick up the car. The underground parking garage is free for guests staying. Set off for Zhongshan Scenic Area. Navigation was confused again. After rejecting the route suspected of violating the rules, he was subjected to navigation back and forth. It took time and effort to open the regular route.

The navigation destination is set as the Tourist Service Center of Zhongshan Scenic Area, which itself is a large parking lot. When buying a ticket consultation, the little lady in the small window was very impatient and angry. She didn't sleep well?? How to make an appointment at Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and how to enter the scenic spot after consultation was the same as without consultation, I didn't understand it.

Forget it, let's go, drive directly to Meiling Palace. Meiling Palace does not have a parking lot of its own. Consult the security guard at the door and find that there is a paid parking lot 50 meters to the left, which is very convenient. The uncle's expression was clear and his attitude was enthusiastic. Give a thumbs up.

This building is very beautiful, with the charm of Chinese architecture and the foreign flavor of a Western-style manor. It can be regarded as a model of architecture during the Republic of China and also reflects the owner's noble identity.

The sycamore tree should be the street tree that the hostess likes. I once read a document saying this, but I don't know if it is true or false, but it does have a taste.

Beautiful ceilings: )

Whose is the old car in front of the door? Maybe it's just a prop.

I didn't take pictures of the indoor exhibition. I vaguely felt that I was peeping at other people's family life. It would be even more impolite to take pictures, haha...

The most amazing floor heating in the banquet hall is amazing, luxury!

When you come out of Meiling Palace, turn left and walk along the trail. You will find the Sifang City of Ming Xiaoling.

Corner of Sifang City

There is a huge stele in Sifang City, which was built by Emperor Yongle for his father, Zhu Yuanzhang. It is worth seeing.

If the monument is erected large, will the psychological pressure of being a son be reduced?

Further inside is the famous Stone Statue Road

Stone Statue Road is only beautiful in autumn, so I come back for an autumn outing.

Come, come, look at this arch is also beautiful.

The Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty covers a large area. It was a little tiring to walk around and the sun was very hot. On the return journey, I decisively took a battery sightseeing bus by the Yuhe Bridge and turned back to Sifang City to pick up the car.

Originally, I planned to go to the music station and Linggu Temple. Unfortunately, it was late and the people were a little tired, so I simply gave up and headed straight out of the scenic area to the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway.

This trip to Nanjing was a temporary idea, with the theme of casual stroll and relaxation. This season is rainy and the natural landscape is not very distinctive.

The best seasons in Nanjing are spring and autumn. This is the truth that the so-called ox head in spring and Qixia in autumn.

I hope that the epidemic will end soon. In autumn, we will look at the red leaves in Qixia and the ginkgo trees on Shenzu Road.
