The first snow in 2020 came a little suddenly, and the snowy land had been lightly covered with a thin quilt after a night of snow. This was less exciting for me, who had just returned from the frozen and snowy northern country in Jilin. But snow is an uncommon sight in Nanjing, and waiting for snow in the south is a rare sight. Since it came unexpectedly, we still have to enjoy it. Although the snow was still floating, the snow was not big and dense, I decided to ride an electric bike to work. This choice was because I wanted to walk from the sports park and see the snow scenery there. I went straight uphill from Zhongshanmen Street and inserted into the east end of Dongwazi Road.
There are small fluffy snowballs on the low bushes on both sides of the road, and thin layers of snow are hanging on the tall trees.
There is a silver carpet on the earth, and the branches are covered with silver branches. Pine trees and cypress trees are covered with fluffy little snowballs.
Snow wraps the withered vegetation
The entire earth seemed to be wrapped in a layer of white gauze, but also seemed to be shrouded in a layer of mist.
The snow in the south is not as good as the thousands of miles frozen in the north. The snow floating across thousands of miles is magnificent and majestic. The snow scenery in the south is gentle and delicate. It has only the softness of a misty catty. I didn't wear a raincoat, so I wore a wool hat to cover my head and let my face be kissed by the snow. The small snowflake was not big, falling from the sky neither hurriedly nor slowly, caressing my cheek.
Dongwazi Road
Turn left into Tiyu South Road
Several trees with their own characteristics on the slope of Tiyu South Road have a unique loneliness against the backdrop of winter snow.
The Green Olympic Games on the roadside and the athletes 'apartments of the Nanjing Institute of Physical Education behind the Green Olympic Games are also covered with snow gauze.
The former site of the Central Stadium is an ink painting in the winter snow.
I stop here. Enjoy this peaceful and dense winter scene because of the flying snowflakes.
Immerse yourself in the world in front of you that is like smoke but not smoke and fog.
In winter in the south, the fluctuating water still flows brightly, and the lake water does not change due to the arrival of snow. This is a completely different character from the north.
The huge park was shrouded in white snow. Miss Xue quietly and carefully weaves a white and soft carpet for the earth!
Snow was like a speechless angel, taking me to another world, without any sound in my ears. My heart is also silent and silent, and my heart is as calm as a clear spring. The light worries in my heart gradually settled.
The faint snow scenery in the south of the Yangtze River is covered with the scenery of the Yangtze River and becomes a beautiful longing, calm, peaceful and poetic picture.
Snow in the south comes without warning and goes quietly. The above pictures were taken on the way to work at 7:30 in the morning. By the time I came here after work at 5:30, the snow had disappeared and everything had returned to its original state. If it weren't for the photos to prove it, I would have doubted what I saw. This magical change gave me the idea of sunning this park in front of my home-Zhongshan Sports Park.
Zhongshan Sports Park is located at the foot of Zijin Mountain in the eastern suburbs, next to Nanjing Institute of Physical Education. It's just a little east from the gate of Linggu Temple Scenic Area. If you take Metro Line 2 and get off at Zhongling Street Station, you can get there by walking 50 meters. This park is large and is a free citizen park. It is a happy place for local citizens every holiday. I have lived on the edge of this park for more than 20 years. There used to be two villages here, Dongwazi Village and Xiwazi Village. However, because this was once the "Central Park" during the Republic of China, in 2009, the Nanjing government invested huge sums of money and a lot of manpower and material resources to strengthen urban construction and rebuilt it into Zhongshan Sports Park. So I accidentally lived beside a beautiful park. Life at two o'clock every day. As long as I walk or ride to work, I will leave the main road and choose this Dongwazi Road and Tiyuan South Road. The scenery along the way is different in seasons. If you are a meticulous person, you will find its beauty every moment. In the past few years, I have accidentally taken photos of its four seasons. Today's snow gave me the idea to share the photos I saved. Let's talk about the beautiful scenery of Zhongshan Sports Park in all seasons. Since I wrote about a snow in 2020 first, let's start in winter!
Shooting time: 2019.1
There seems to be no snow in the winter of 2019, or nothing significant. Because there is no snow scene in my photos. But the frost brought the first gift of winter, and the white frost has another beauty.
The ground is thin, silvery, and crystal clear, with cute little fluff reflecting dots of light under the rising sun.
Under the blue sky, the Central Stadium stands tall on the carpet covered with thin frost. Central Stadium is the most historical and cultural landscape in Zhongshan Sports Park. At this time, the white frost blends with the pure historical buildings, creating a quiet beauty.
This winter, I had to send my children to school at 6:30 in the morning, so I could often see the beautiful morning glow.
The morning glow is unpredictable. When the morning glow in winter is not warm, it is like a woman's faint blush.
The orange-red morning glow looks a little hotter, and then golden. As the shape and color of the glow changes, my mood also changes. But no matter what, seeing the morning glow in the morning starts a good day.
Sometimes when the sun rises, the moon has not yet set, and a picture of the sun and the moon shining together appears.
The winter sun also languidly shines through the branches.
This was a misty morning, and I saw the scene. At that time, I was really confused and didn't believe what I saw. The mist in the air, the rising moisture in the water, and the inability to feel the reflection of the sun are intertwined, and the sports park presents a picture I have never seen before. It was like a dream, like a fairyland.
Shooting time: 2018.1.28
Nanjing had two consecutive heavy snowfalls in 2018. It is the heaviest snow since 2008. I didn't deliberately take photos of the first snow. The second snow fell on January 24. After getting off work on the 28th, I picked up my camera and took photos in the sports park. At this time, the sports park was a place for citizens to play around the clock. Look at 5:30 at night, there are still cars parked on both sides of the road.
The snow is more than ten centimeters thick, because the terrain of the sports park is undulating, and some small hills form their own ramps. These slopes become natural ski resorts. Southerners do not have snow equipment, but they are not a problem. They carry skateboards, or plastic basins, or some even cardboard, and rush down from top to bottom with a pad on their buttocks. Those who play are happy, and those who watch are also lively.
When it snows, the children are the happiest.
The Central Stadium against the white snow is even more solemn and solemn.
A picture of harmony between man and nature.
The main street outside the park is already littered with lights, and the lake water shines brightly.
The snow scene is a pure and romantic natural scene.
A heavy snowfall in the south is something you can't expect. The heavy snow in 2018 gave me a deeper love for this city. Snow is rare in the south, but heavy snow is even more rare. I don't really like snow. Whenever it snows in southern cities, because their municipal reserves are not enough and there are not as many professional vehicles as the northern cities, every heavy snowfall will cause inconvenience to transportation and life. I still remember a heavy snow in 2008, and many buses were stopped the next day. The bus I took arrived at Weigang, but there was no way up Weigang slope. I had to get off the bus and walk a few stops to work. And the company will not stop attendance just because it snows. This year, when I woke up, I thought it would affect my travel. Unexpectedly, overnight, not only the main road, but all the roads were free of snow, allowing me to experience the power of Nanjing and the speed of this city. Moreover, my work unit also advocates that colleagues who live close to home should go to work, and those who travel long distances should not come. None of the colleagues who lived nearby complained. This city is becoming more and more charming and more humane. The progress of a city is not only due to hardware, but also due to software.

Zhongshan Sports Park actually covers a large area, including a large area at the east gate of Nanjing Sports Institute and the south of Huanling Road, with a use area of 3671 acres. The empty terrain makes this the best place to fly kites.
A family of three flew together
A centipede kite dozens of meters long floated in the blue sky. I swung the camera left and right, and finally captured this long kite in the picture.
A thin layer of frost, thin and light. The frosty world in winter is also a beautiful scenery. What is even more beautiful is the "off-road vehicle" that broke into my lens. Because of its open terrain and diverse terrain, the park attracts many enthusiasts to show their hobbies here. Play with various models, flying in the sky, running on the ground, and swimming in the water. I don't like this kind of money-burning sport, but I like to immerse myself in their presentation and feel their hobbies and happiness.
I like this small hill. Sitting here overlooking the park. That road is Tiyu South Road. The vehicles parked on both sides are local citizens who come to play.
I like to sit here in a daze, look at the beautiful scenery of nature and the interesting people in the park.
Several foreign girls are taking selfies. I changed the camera's mode to incorporate them into my lens.
Shooting time: 2015.12.29
It is a warm winter sun at noon and the weather is blue. Let's go and enjoy it!
At the southern end of Tiyuan South Road, there is a beautiful road with woods on both sides of the road.
After the park was renovated, a small forest would be planted here every now and then. The park is big enough for them to work hard. In this way, the grove grew from saplings to a forest leisurely.
The noon sun makes this former site of the Central Stadium of the Republic of China shine. The stadium was built in 1931 and is the most beautiful building in the sports park. This former Central Stadium, which hosted the Fifth National Games of the Republic of China, was selected as the main stadium to bid for the Olympic Games after the end of the Anti-Japanese War. However, due to the war, the Olympic dream was not realized here. As time goes by, large-scale events are no longer hosted by Nanjing Central Stadium. Today, this is the training ground of Nanjing Institute of Physical Education and the cradle of outstanding athletes from Jiangsu Province. Hundreds of national and even world champions have emerged here. But on this side of the park, only the east side of the stadium can be seen. If you want to get a closer and deeper understanding of this building, you need to detour to No. 8 Linggusi Road-the West Gate of Nanjing Physical Education Institute. Enter the campus from there, cross Champions Avenue, and at the end is the archway on the west side of the Central Stadium. You can enter the stadium through the archway. In addition to this Republican building, there are many other Republican buildings on campus. If you are interested, it is worth visiting.
The park builds multiple lawns according to the undulating terrain, and connects ponds where water flows.
The willow leaves that have faded have another beautiful appearance.
Zhongshan Mountain stretches and is surrounded by hills, lakes and streams. The scenery in the four seasons is completely beautiful.
Looking at the stadium from this angle, I don't know exactly what time of winter it is in this photo. Probably around New Year's Day. Because red lanterns are hung up on the archway every festival or major event.
There are still these fiery red leaves in winter, which are very warm.
This is the intersection of Dongwazi Road and Tiyuan South Road. The vegetation here is rich and colorful.
Earth color is often the most fashionable color
The winter branches without leaves make them more obvious.
There are also a few reed flowers that stubbornly refuse to fade away.
Continue to turn west along Dongwazi Road and turn right, and there is a monument to the Xiwazi Cong Burial Site.
Can a red leaf ignite this place?
the blue sky
The park in the afternoon sun is an ambiguous color
Sunshine makes everything shine.
Then go to the Central Stadium with red lanterns.
That's all for today to take a few winter photos of the sports park. I originally wanted to show the beauty of the four seasons at the same time, but there was a problem with system preservation recently. It can only be divided into four seasons to share with everyone. If you don't particularly like winter, look forward to the spring, summer and autumn that follows! You will definitely find your favorite seasons and colors here.
