Because of the epidemic, we have not yet returned to work. Enjoy the mode of turning off your phone and waking up naturally every day. The first thing to do when you get up in the morning is to check out WeChat and the circle of friends in WeChat. A friend in today's circle of friends posted a picture in Wuchaomen Park early in the morning. The beautiful, huge eye-catching hydrangea immediately attracted me. Because of the epidemic, I rarely take buses and rarely go to cities, but I thought that I had an appointment to go to Sanshan Street at noon. The hydrangea immediately attracted me. I got up and cleaned up immediately. I went to Wuchaomen first and then to Sanshan Street. The time should be just right. The subway takes ten minutes to reach Xi'an Gate Station. Xi'an Gate Subway Station is the eastern section of Nanjing's central axis-Zhongshan East Road. The bus stop at this station is also called Ming Palace Station. The Ming Palace stands on both sides of Zhongshan East Road. Nanjing Ming Palace Museum can be said to be the blueprint of the Beijing Palace Museum. It was the royal palace of the first nationally unified dynasty in Nanjing history. After Zhu Yuanzhang, the Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, captured Jiqing (Nanjing), he changed Jiqing to Yingtianfu. In order to become an emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang finally chose this feng shui treasure place of "Zhongfu Dragon Pan" and "Imperial House". It takes a 3-minute walk to the north gate of the park after exiting the station. Wuchaomen Park is located at the northern end of Yudao Street in Zhongshanmen and on the south side of Zhongshan East Road. It is named after the Ming Palace Meridian Gate (commonly known as Wuchaomen) at the southern end of the park.

There is a pair of witty and lovely stone lions in front of the north gate of the park

Across the street from Wuchaomen Park is the Ming Palace Museum Site Park. Now the Ming Forbidden City, whose red walls have been removed, has a little less mysterious, and you can see its appearance on the street. However, the red pillars and golden glazed tiles covering the roof still show its momentum. After all, it was once the royal palace of Hongwu, Jianwen and Yongle in the early Ming Dynasty for 54 years.

Entering from a small door on one side, the park has a symmetrical structure on its axis. A stone tablet on the middle stone corridor reads "Wuchaomen Park". In 1958, the government turned the location of Wumen Gate and Fengtian Temple into parks

An open area on the east side is now an area for citizens 'activities. Today's Wuchaomen Park is no longer the heavily guarded palace in the past. It has become a citizen park. Except for a very small number of famous flower patters like me who come here for hydrangea at this time of year, there are more citizens who exercise here every day.

The dancers wearing masks danced seriously and devoted regardless of their age or type of dance. I was attracted by their serious looks.

The old man on the side looked affectionately at the dancers in the square and patted his palms. I don't know if this was beating the rhythm or clapping for a certain dancer he admired. Here you can feel the happiness of Nanjing citizens.

To the south of the north gate, more than ten meters up the corridor is this ancient and exquisite stone wall of dragons, birds and beasts.

At this time of year, blooming hydrangea trees are lined up on both sides of the stone wall.

The stone wall is carved with patterns such as dragon and phoenix auspicious clouds, fish leaping over the dragon gate, and immortal deer in the forest. The shape is exquisite.

A pair of stone lions are arranged on both sides of the stone wall. At a glance, they can be seen as authentic products of the royal palace and have an extraordinary appearance.

There is a row of wooden hydrangea trees in a green lawn area behind the stone wall.

Spring is warm and flowers are blooming, and beautiful Nanjing is in the colorful colors of peach, red, willow and green. The wooden hydrangea in Wuchaomen Park quietly blooms. The elegant white of hydrangea brings a different beauty to Nanjing's colorful spring.

The white hydrangea flowers are in full bloom.

Snow-white flowers are clustered into snowballs, and the branches are covered vigorously.

The prosperous appearance seems to bend her waist.

If you look closely, hydrangea is made up of countless small flowers. Each small flower has only four petals, which is not outstanding at all, but when they are gathered together like a big family to form a beautiful big snowball.

Many hydrangea balls gather together to turn the entire tree into a larger and more beautiful hydrangea ball.

It used to be a royal palace, and you can feel the atmosphere of that year from these stone tablets. There are not too many flowers and plants here except for the green lawn. Everything is very solemn. All kinds of stone monuments and stone foundations silently reveal the past history.

And this "blood-stained stone" splashed with Fang Xiaoru's blood and Danbi stone are placed on the pillow side by side, which seems to tell how glorious history is and how ruthless it is!

All the great scholars of the Ming Dynasty were upright. Zhu Di captured Nanjing and asked Fang Xiaoru to draw up an edict and threaten to destroy the nine clans. Fang Xiaoru shouted that it would be okay to destroy the ten clans! Death calmly, and all nine clans were wiped out. In the face of Zhu Di's power, 4,000 ministers from the ruling and opposition parties were unable to take over, provoking Emperor Yongle's murderous intentions. What a bloody storm! It is no wonder that Zhu Di moved his capital to Beijing after staying in Nanjing for a few years.

Column foundations surrounded by iron railings, steles and hydrangea trees.

The embossed Yunlong bird and animal stone walls and exquisite Ming Dynasty stone carvings such as stone lions, stone vats, and stone drums are among the most famous sites in Nanjing.

The giant trees of hydrangea cover the garden. Stone foundations and stone tablets stand silently on the green lawn in the garden. Outside the park are tall and green fir trees, surrounded by pine trees. All of this is so harmonious, the artistic conception is solemn and a little solemn, but because of the rendering of hydrangea flowers, there is a little freshness.

We each carried our own camera and walked around the iron railing to take pictures of the beautiful scenery in and outside the garden from different angles.

Because of the different camera grades, the pictures are still very different.

Use the lens to capture the perfect combination of these historical humanities and natural landscapes. I hope that friends who have not actually seen this scene can also feel this feeling.

The open area behind the iron railing is the Fengtianmen Stone Carving Garden, which is the site of Fengtianmen.

Fengtian Hall is often referred to as the Throne Hall. It was the place where Zhu Yuanzhang held major ceremonies and received congratulations from civil and military officials.

Fengtian Gate and Fengtian Hall have long since ceased to exist, leaving only some strong foundations, which can prove that the mountains and rivers at that time were stable and that this was once an imperial city Fengtian Hall.

Several students wearing masks were sitting on the ground beside the pillar foundation, sketching.

They are in the right position to see the stone monuments, stone foundations and beautiful hydrangea flowers in all directions. With so many materials, they can make flowers bloom in their writing.

Next to the stone foundation of the park, under the fir trees, not only children sketching, tourists taking photos, but also citizens who have been in the park all year round. They danced and played badminton in the park, and a group of sax enthusiasts gathered here. The teacher taught seriously and the students studied seriously. All of this made this once majestic palace full of the flavor of a city, but it was not inconsistent. Everything was natural and what it should be.

Further to the south of the Fengtianmen Stone Carving Site, on the north side of the Wuchao Gate, there are five stone bridges-the "Inner Wulong Bridge".

Wulong Bridge, that is, five bridges are juxtaposed on the Jinshui River, also called Jinshui Bridge. Taking the Wumen Gate as the boundary, the Jinshui Bridge outside the Wumen Gate is called the Outer Wulong Bridge. Entering the Wumen Gate, there are five stone bridges, called the "Inner Wulong Bridge".

There is a small river flowing under the bridge. This river is the Neijinshui River, also known as the Neiyu River. The Wulong Bridge lies across the Imperial River. The pool water is calm, but it is enough to see the past and present lives of the past 600 years.

Watch the Meridian Gate on the Wulong Bridge. The Meridian Gate is the main entrance to the south of the Forbidden City of the Ming Dynasty. The three doors of the Meridian Gate plus the two left and right doors make a total of five doors, all of which are the doors to the court. The towering Wumen Gate site in front of us and the Fengtianmen site we just walked through behind us have been combined into Wumen Gate Park.

On the south side of Wulong Bridge, there is a "Monument to Dredging Ditch in the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty". The inscription records the process of dredging ditches and controlling floods during the Wanli period.

At the southern end of Wulong Bridge, we saw Fengtian Gate we had just walked through. This is a central axis. There are tall pine trees on both sides. Looking at the straight central axis, imagine that the Meridian Gate serves as the gate to the south of the palace (main entrance). The middle gate only passes through the emperor and empress's chariot. The left and right side doors are where civil and military officials go to court every day. On the road to court, I vaguely feel that this was once a majestic palace. Today, there are only some remnant stone pillars left in the three halls of Fengtian, Huagai and Jinshen, as well as the "rear court" where the emperor and his empresses lived and lived, scattered in this ruins park.

Citizens under the big tree beside the city gate played poker games, enjoying their own enjoyment.

This is why the park is named-Wuchaomen. Now it seems that Wuchaomen has experienced 600 years of ups and downs, but its tall and majestic walls and doorways are still awe-inspiring.

The Meridian Gate is a majestic building with three-hole doors and double leaves on both sides.

The Meridian Gate is majestic and magnificent, wide at the bottom and narrow at the top. It is simple and stable. It is built with marble to form a Sumizuo. Today, the true nature of the Wumen Gate is well preserved.

The patterns carved on the platform back then are still clear today. Judging from these exquisite shumizuo with ruyi patterns, the simple and beautiful decoration represents the architectural style of the early Ming Dynasty.

The gate is tall and powerful, and the tall fir trees lined up on the north side of the gate are now green. The vicissitudes of the city wall and fresh green show the precipitation of history and the passion of new life.

The backs of grandfather and grandson are a beautiful picture

Are the women from the Republic of China who traveled through more suitable for such pictures and scenes?

Under the high city walls and tall trees, I feel very small.

The mottled city wall allows us to see rich historical traces

There are stone steps on both sides of the city wall to climb the city wall.

The words carved on the bricks of the Ming Dynasty wall mainly record which prefecture and county the brick was fired in, so that the responsibility could be attributed to specific officials based on the quality of the bricks fired. This is the use of the responsibility system in the Ming Dynasty.

Climbing on the roof of Wumen Gate, tall fir trees surround the tower. The open tower once had five Wufeng Towers with yellow tiles, gold roofs and heavy eaves and red ornaments. Today, the Wufeng Tower has long been destroyed along with the palace, leaving only the huge stone foundations arranged in an orderly manner for us to imagine its glory.

The tall trees only block our line of sight, but they cannot block the endless emotion that the tiger and dragon are victorious today!

Melodious sax music lingered on the tower tower from a handsome woman.

It is also a pleasure to listen to Sax's melody on the historical wall!

Walking down the steps, I felt a little sigh in my heart. In Nanjing, a city with a profound history, as the core and most important palace gate of the Ming City Wall, Wuchao Gate is located in the busy area, but it is very low-key.

Covered in the green shade of the busy city, this former palace site has long been outside the glitz. Walking here feels like a light detachment. Imagine its past from the city gates, city walls, and huge stone foundations.

The main color in the park is green, with green lawns and green leaves. In addition to the green, there are stone monuments and stone foundations, and the bluish-gray color of the city wall. Luxurious, simple and elegant, with a high-level sense of the same color.

This former royal site is now happily transformed into a citizen park full of a street atmosphere.

At this time, the hydrangea flowers in the park are in full bloom, ushering in the most beautiful flower season. They complement the stone carvings of Wuchaomen Ruins Park, making people linger and full of spring!

Except for this row of hydrangea trees, there are no other small pots of flowers placed in the park. This kind of flower language actually makes me feel clean and generous, which is very consistent with the royal temperament here. Walking here, although there is the music in the square and the melodious sax music in the woods, you can still feel the sanctity and atmosphere.

If the hydrangea were not in full bloom at this time of year, tourists like me would not visit. Because as a native of Nanjing, when I didn't have a subway and took the No. 5 bus to travel between Xinjiekou and Xiaolingwei, I passed by here every day. The park without walls allowed me to have a clear view of it on the bus. There was no such mystery, let alone the impulse to come specially for it.

Wuchaomen Park is not eye-catching in Nanjing, a city with many historical, cultural, and natural landscapes. Perhaps in the eyes of many people, it is just a remnant of a broken wall. But this kind of royal style is simple and heavy, as well as a sense of pride, coupled with the freshness brought by the snow-white hydrangea flowers at this time, makes the place full of charm.
