It is said that Nanjing becomes "Jinling" in autumn. What kind of feng shui treasure would the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties be? The exploration of history and culture and the yearning for beautiful food and beauty aroused my intention to set off. It was the golden autumn, when everyone had a backpack. The journey started again.
On the evening of October 30, I took the train from Tangshan to Nanjing. I would try to choose the night train for every trip, so that I would not delay working during the day or arriving at my destination the next day. I was deprived of my annual leave due to the epidemic this year. My rest days are extremely precious. In fact, I have been to Nanjing in 14 years. At that time, I was a newspaper tour group and visited several places in a few days. Therefore, my impression of Nanjing was the Qinhuai River in the Confucius Temple. I don't have too much memory, so I have never signed a tour group in the future. After that, I have started free travel for one person and one backpack. Arrived in Nanjing at 10 a.m. on October 31, I booked the "Free Fall Youth Hostel" near Confucius Temple. It is right out of Exit 1 of the subway Fuzimiao Station. Nanjing's subway is very convenient, and the slogan is "Tour Nanjing by subway." Go to the Youth Hostel, put down your backpack and start to appreciate Nanjing. When the youth travel brigade comes out, it is the Confucius Temple. There are not many people during the day, so we can quickly pass through the flowers and prepare to come and take a good look at the night scene at night. First, we can look for something delicious. I don't know which street I walked to, and I saw an Internet celebrity called "Little Fish Pot Sticker". When I saw the actual pot sticker, this pot sticker is very different from the pot sticker I usually know. There just happens to be a small store nearby where I eat duck blood fans. How can I not check in for duck blood fans when I come to Nanjing? The fans say the pot sticker is perfect. Go in and chat. It turns out that it is a decades-old shop. From time to time, local people from nearby come to buy ducks. The fans are really delicious. I don't like to eat them at home because the cooking is too fishy, but there are no ones here. There are no fish in the pot stickers. I don't know how they got their name. I was ready to take a stroll after having enough food. I originally planned to go to the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. The owner of the fan shop said that it would be best to go in the morning, but it was a little cloudy in the afternoon. I didn't really want to go to this place because it was too heavy, and this time I mainly visited ancient times, so I gave up this place and rode a bicycle to stroll around the street. Nanjing's sycamore trees are really old, and they can be found on basically every street. Now the leaves have turned yellow, which is also a scenic spot for Nanjing's Meicheng Jinling. It's still early, and Zha Guide has a beautiful "Jiangning Love Tunnel". It's a bit far away. You have to take the subway and take the bus. It's a bit remote. It's an abandoned train track. You have to walk far inside to see something like the Internet. The scenery of pictures. Fortunately, I can meet a few tourists from time to time, but it should be very beautiful in spring. Now the leaves are a little withered, but this is the first time I walked on the rails like this, like a scene in a movie. In the evening, I went to the Confucius Temple Qinhuai River. Maybe because of Saturday, there were many people, and there were also queues at the entrance of the "Nanjing Food Stall" where I wanted to eat. After a while, I went back to the Youth Youth Hostel to rest. This time, there was a very interesting girl from 1993 who was from Anhui who studied Chinese language and literature in Ningbo. After graduation, she worked as a reporter for the Ningbo Newspaper Office. Now she is working in Nanjing to do education and training work. Therefore, she is quite eloquent and interesting. It is like a talk show and has a lot of personality. She likes chatting with her. The happiest thing when she comes back every night is chatting with her and accompanying me to spend the beautiful night in Nanjing.
On November 1st, we mainly visited Zhongshan Scenic Area today, including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Music Platform, Ming Xiao Mausoleum, Meiling Palace, and Linggu Temple. In the morning, we ate duck blood wontons and steamed buns at the 'aftertaste' downstairs of the Youth Hostel. They are delicious and affordable. I highly recommend this fast food chain in Nanjing. After eating, I took the subway. I went to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum first. There is still a distance from the entrance of the scenic area when I left the subway. I could choose to take the sightseeing bus throughout the Zhongshan Scenic Area. I chose to ride a bicycle because the scenery along the way was really good and majestic. It is worthy of being a land of feng shui and refreshing. However, the farther I go, the road becomes more and more steep. If you can't ride a bicycle, you can change to walking. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is the only free attraction. You can make an appointment in advance through the Weixin Official Accounts, or you can scan the code at the door to make an appointment. Enter directly by swiping your ID card. You must buy explanations on these places with historical heritage, otherwise you will really just be lonely. There is a music stage at the entrance of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, which was used to commemorate the music performances and speeches during the rally of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. It is recommended to buy tickets here for 100 yuan. There are many pigeons in the music stage, which is quite beautiful. Come out and continue walking and follow the navigation. The next stop is Meiling Palace. As the name suggests, the place where Song Meiling once lived. There are many beautiful sycamore trees on both sides of the road here, and the Meiling Palace hidden under the yellow leaves is even more beautiful. Meiling Palace came out and continued walking to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, where Zhu Yuanzhang and Empress Ma were buried together. When visiting these places, you must listen to the explanations. It was also because of this that I, a science student, fell in love with history. It is more interesting to understand history than just reading books, so we won't talk about history here. It's better for everyone to really come to Nanjing to watch and understand it while learning. I have to say that the Zhongshan Scenic Area is really too big. I started getting off the subway at around 9:30, and it was already 4:00 in the afternoon when I left the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. I decided not to go to Linggu Temple because it was really a little hard to walk, but personally I still recommend walking, which is more meaningful. I came out of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and went to the Presidential Palace. I checked in at the door and went directly to the 1912 Republic of China Street behind. There was also a "Nanjing Food Stall" here. There was no need to queue up, which was just enough for dinner. The price/performance ratio and taste were good, and the quantity was not too large. I could taste a few more, but it was really too full after eating. In order to digest, I strolled to Xuanwu Lake. Xuanwu Lake was particularly quiet at night. The lights on the surrounding Ming City Wall reflected in the lake. The scenery was beautiful. Sit down on the chair by the lake. The people coming and going during the day are all gone. I like to be quiet and feel the most comfortable right now. It seemed to have digested it, and then turned to "Laomen East" to forage for food. It was similar to Confucius Temple. It was an old street, not as many people as Confucius Temple, and it was not too far away, so I rode directly back to the Youth Hostel.
A very important thing on the morning of November 2-incense will be served at Jiming Temple (it is said that Jiming Temple is very effective in seeking marriage). The ticket is 10 yuan and three incense sticks will be given. Follow the prompts to ask for worship level by level, and go to the top to light the incense to complete a complete set of processes. If you are sincere, you will be spiritual, and you hope that good things will happen in the future. Jiming Temple comes out to the Ming City Wall, and not far away is Xuanwu Lake. Since I passed by and saw Xuanwu Lake during the day, it is still more beautiful and quieter at night. Riding a bicycle to the subway station and preparing to go to Qixia Mountain, the most memorable incident happened here. I was stopped by the traffic police uncle on the road. I was educated and fined 20 yuan. The first traffic fine in my life was actually due to riding a bicycle in Nanjing. It's a bit embarrassing to say it and a bit smearing the people of my hometown. It's also a rare experience (please do not imitate it!!!). After the episode, we will go to the next stop,"Qixia Mountain". The maple leaves on Qixia Mountain are very famous, but it is still a little early. The maple leaves are still green with only a few scattered red leaves. If you want to see the red leaves, remember to come by the end of November. Oh, if you come, take it easy. Just come to climb the mountain. The places where Qianlong visited should be quite beautiful, but the mountain is really big and requires physical support. There is a famous temple at the foot of the mountain. It is worth appreciating. It is afternoon again when Qixia Mountain comes out. The next stop is to experience the momentum of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. Then, we will cross the river and experience the "Pukou Railway Station" where the scene of Zhu Ziqing's back's back takes place. We specially brought an orange to restore the real scene. The arrangement is very beautiful, but the reality is very annoying. It is a little late to take the bus to the bridge, so I don't get off the bus. It is also good to take the bus directly to appreciate the momentum of the Yangtze River. However, there is a traffic jam on the bridge, and the driving is slow, and the sky is getting dark. I didn't want to give up after I got off the bus, but it was completely dark, and I had to walk some distance to follow the map. What was even more exciting was that the street lights were very weak and sparsely populated. I turned on the flashlight of my mobile phone with perseverance and looked forward. Finally, I saw "Nanjing North Railway Station" in a dark square under construction. Opposite it was "Pukou Wharf". Zhu Ziqing's back couldn't feel it, but it was really exciting, so he quickly withdrew. I went to the "Sanjiang College Internet Celebrity Night Market" and looked for the Internet celebrity "Aunt Guo's Moon Buzo". The night market is really prosperous, but Aunt Guo is really popular. The queue is scary. In the end, I gave up and could only take a look. There are many other delicious foods, and I still like to visit the down-to-earth night market. Go back to the Youth Youth League after eating and drinking enough and chatting with the "little monster". Hahaha, in fact, there are activities in the public area of the Youth League every night. Maybe I don't like participating too much when I am old.
On November 3, I planned to slow down and travel slowly in Nanjing, because the WeChat steps in the past two days have exploded into the circle of friends. In the morning, I set out for "Niushou Mountain", a somewhat modern Buddhist holy land with splendid splendor. The biggest gain here is that I met a very friendly little sister from Dalian. She happened to play together by herself. She hit it off very well. I wished I couldn't meet each other a few days earlier and could play together. After I came out, I separated and added WeChat each other due to different arrangements later. It turns out that her name is "Tang Shi", her real name is, and she is as literary and artistic as her name is. I temporarily decided to go to the "Nanjing Museum". There is also the "Nanjing Museum". The entrance fee for the former is 25 yuan, and the latter is free. What's the difference in the content because I didn't go to the latter, but the former is still worth seeing. There are many exhibitions of historical relics and talk about the historical development and changes of Nanjing. In the evening, I went to eat "Old Man Hermes Fried Rice" and "Crab Powder Lao Noin" recommended by my little sister. The two families were next door, both near Xinjiekou. Finally, I visited the "Pioneer Bookstore" where Internet celebrities check in. It might be a bit late. There were very few people. It felt like a normal bookstore. It was very good.
On November 4th, there were only two days left in the holiday. I felt that staying in a big city like Nanjing would not be able to slow down. Because there were many places to visit, I decided to escape the city in the next two days and find an ancient town for two days. Searching for "Nanxun" is a good choice. It is close to Nanjing and convenient by car. The two days are just right. Let's go. It takes an hour by bullet train from Nanjing to Huzhou Station. It takes an hour to get out of the train station and take a direct bus to Nanxun. After getting off the bus, you have to take a small tricycle to Guzhen. There are no taxis in Nanxun. Admission to the ancient town is 95 yuan. If you don't want to enter those scenic spots where you swipe your ticket, you can enter the ancient town after 5 p.m. without requiring a ticket. I highly recommend the "Spirited Away Coffee Youth Hostel" in the ancient town. It is on the street of the ancient town. It is very clean. The landlady and I are my peers. They gave up working hard in a big city in Shanghai for their children. They chose to open an inn here to spend time with their children and family. Very nice. Nanxun is really an ancient town that can calm people down. It is not so commercial. You can sit by the river and spend the entire afternoon unknowingly. At 9 o'clock in the evening, there are basically no people on the streets. In the words of the landlady, it is "very suitable for elderly care." On the morning of November 5, I slept until I woke up naturally. It was already nine o'clock and it was still very quiet outside. It seemed that no one had woken up. However, when I opened the window, the street was already crowded and the boatmen in the river had already started work, but it was very quiet and not noisy. I took a stroll in the morning and ate "Taihu White Fish" and "Steamed Stinky Tofu" at "Xuncai Restaurant" at noon, which is very recommended. I chatted with the boss for a while at noon, and two days passed without realizing it. Compared with the "Xitang, Zhouzhuang, and Wuzhen" I have visited, I prefer Nanxun's original flavor and undisturbed, like a water town in my dream. The two days here are relaxing, just like the cat in the bookstore in the photo. At the end of the 6-day holiday, I set off home, returned to reality, and looked forward to my next departure.
