But no kind of weather can stop the footsteps of true travelers!
Even if the dark clouds were weighing on us, we were happily driving on the way to Nanjing Garden Expo Park (Jiangsu Garden Expo Park)!

The rain fell intermittently, and by the time we reached Nanjing, it was already sporadic light rain. The advantage of staying in a hotel in the park is that you can drive your car all the way into the Garden Expo Park and into the underground parking lot of the hotel. After comparing many parties, I chose the Indigo Hotel. Indigo is built halfway up the mountain and has a good view. Moreover, the New Year fireworks show at night is in the square opposite the hotel, making it very convenient to travel.

It was almost 11 o'clock after checking in and storing our luggage. We took the hotel to pick up and park our car directly and went to the Underwater Botanical Garden in the "Yunchi Dream Valley" area, because the "Flower Kitchen" of the Internet celebrity restaurant was there.

As soon as I got off to pick up the car, I saw the unique clouds and mist lingering in rainy days.

Ten steps down from the observation deck to the lowest level is the "Underwater Botanical Garden", and the word "Flower Kitchen" also comes into view.

The first floor is a living hall and cafe, and the second floor is a western restaurant, which can be said to be a must-choice restaurant for Yan control.

The dishes are exquisite and taste very good. There is no one who steps on thunder. There is nothing wrong with it except being more expensive!

After eating, I visited the Underwater Botanical Garden. Perhaps it was winter and rainy days, which made it particularly desolate and devoid of beauty. I wonder if it would look better in spring. We left before we finished shopping. Later, I learned that the mine tunnel I wanted to go to was on the easternmost side of the Botanical Garden. I couldn't go down and take a walk. Unfortunately!
Take the elevator directly up and return to the viewing platform again. We plan to find the "Pumice Underground Palace".

From afar, he could see the giant ore showing its head.

After descending layers of long elevators, we finally arrived at the pumice underground palace.

Maybe I had seen too many pictures before I came here, and I didn't feel the shock that netizens said when I saw the real thing. Instead, the echoes of the words here made us feel new and interesting. They are not like the echoes of the valley, but like the echoes of the symphony stadium.

Netizens 'photos are all set against the blue sky, giving a sense of future and technology. Looking at my photos again, I feel that there is a more science fiction feeling under the dark clouds, haha

After leaving the underground palace and following the train tracks, we found the first station and boarded the retro train with the style of the Republic of China.

The small train costs 30 yuan per person and leaves every 30 minutes. Although we didn't have good weather today, we were lucky. We left five minutes after arriving, and the family of three booked a carriage.

By mistake, the terminal station of the small train happened to be the "Time Art Valley" area where we were going. Basically all the Internet celebrity attractions were here. It is said that this is a cultural district converted from an old cement factory.
This big clock is the landmark building in the park,"Nanjing Time".

A double ice skating performance is being staged in the square here, and there is also a snow playing area made by a small snow machine next to the ice rink. Children should be able to play here for a long time.

Time Post Office, where you can send a postcard to your future self.

Camera Art Museum, where you can see the past and present lives of cameras

The Black Horse Comic Museum had no research on comics, so it took a quick look at it.

Toy Dream Factory is actually a toy store.

The Coca-Cola Brand Pavilion, as a heavy fan of cola, is originally
It is the place I look forward to most. Unfortunately, after in-depth understanding, I realized that all the highlights of the exhibition are not here. I have to make an appointment on the official website in advance, and then take a bus to visit the coke factory. Perhaps due to the large number of tourists during the Chinese New Year, there is no such activity during the Chinese New Year, alas...

Shicang, this is an unexpected gain for me. I didn't see the exhibition hall anyone had mentioned before coming here, but I felt that this place was the most valuable.

Geological fault slices were used to visualize time, and an entire wall recorded a sixty-year-long time slice. When I reach middle age, I always feel that the term "time" is too emotional. Standing in front of this wall, I feel inexplicably melancholy.

Here we can recognize all units of time.

There are iconic clocks of various countries hanging on this wall. When you stand in front of a clock, it will play the unique bells of this clock. The last one is the "Nanjing Time", which plays "Jasmine".

The clocks on display here instantly awakened my childhood memories. Shicang is worth a visit for everyone.

Pioneer Bookstore may have high expectations, so it feels ordinary when you really go in. However, the designer is really amazing to be able to transform several large cement barrels into such a modern bookstore.

The visit was almost over when the hotel called and said that the room had been cleaned and was ready to check in. We were really tired and decided to go back to the hotel to rest. The Indigo Hotel was converted from a mine, so the hotel is full of mineral elements. Even the elevator displays tools used in mining, which is very special.
After resting for a while, the girl was already hugging the computer to chase the drama and refused to let go. Zhao Dapang and I decided to go to the "Suyun Huigu" area (the thirteen gardens in Jiangsu). Although we are not very interested in gardens, at the very least we should go and have a look at our Taizhou Garden!

Thirteen Gardens are not far from the hotel, so we decided to walk there. I always see such train tracks along the way, and I think they are also unique.

Scenery.

The first one found our Taizhou Garden.

Seeing this reminds me of the time when I was a child climbing rockery in Taishan Park.

Nanjing Garden, the tallest and most magnificent, renovated the Jingyang Tower from the Six Dynasties period.

Standing by the wall of Nanjing Garden, you can overlook the scenery of other gardens.
After visiting two gardens, I couldn't see much of it anyway, so I just stopped looking at the rest and went back to the hotel to prepare for a New Year's dinner!

The semi-buffet New Year's dinner at the hotel's "Pulse Restaurant" was a bit disappointing. It was expensive and had average taste, but the desserts were particularly delicious. They were the best of all hotel desserts I have ever tasted.

I booked a window seat in the restaurant in advance so that I could not go to the square opposite to watch the fireworks while blowing the cold wind.

However, if you want to see the complete fireworks, you still have to go to the restaurant balcony to blow the cold wind.

After dinner, Zhao Dapang and I went out for a walk to relieve digestion. We wanted to take a look at the night view, but as we walked, snowflakes fell.

Then there was a strong wind blowing goose feathers and heavy snow coming towards you

Two madmen who booked the yard in the Thirteen Gardens in the wind and snow, haha

While taking photos, I was worried that some park managers would come and arrest us for lunatics

I finally returned to the warm hotel. Every time I walked this way to the hotel, I felt like I was going to worship. It was too high. The hotel is good, but it's useless legs. The girl said she remembered the 999 steps of Tianmen Mountain.😄

A beautiful day started with a delicious breakfast, and today it finally cleared up! Although the cold wind is biting outside, it feels good to have the sun!

The tickets for the ice rink provided by the hotel were not too wasteful, so I still came for a stroll. Because it rained the day before, the ice surface was uneven, which hindered the girl's performance, so she stopped playing for a while.

Take a bus to the Hug Park in the "Cliff Flower Valley" area, which is similar to an unpowered park. Various slides, swings, and climbing are a good place for children to have fun.

The beautiful scenery by the cliff is like the Nanjing branch of the Maldives.

The weather was too cold and we didn't want to play anymore. In the end, we decided to have lunch in Yechun in the Yangzhou Garden, which Zhao Dapang was longing for. It is said that this place is as authentic as Yangzhou, so we came here to try it. I don't think it's as delicious as the food in Taizhou.

Take this pilgrimage one last time and go to the hotel to pick up my luggage and go home!
Finally, I want to end this article with a sentence I saw in my circle of friends today: The meaning of travel is to strive to capture those beauties in an imperfect world and support an ordinary life.
