Browsed in front of the scenic area map for a while, found the right signs to identify the direction, and learned about the general area.

The first thing I saw was the Xiangshui River Bridge ruins. Xiangshui River Bridge is a stone arch bridge with a total width of 745 centimeters and a thickness of 65 centimeters. It has seven floors and is built on the bottom of the stone bridge. Below the bridge is the Xiangshui River. The river runs through the north and south, and the sides and bottom of the river are paved with rectangular blue stone strips. There is an imperial stele pavilion on the north and south sides of the Xiangshui River Bridge. The south is the Yongle Imperial Stele, and the north is the Xuande Imperial Stele. Both monuments face the central axis.

Xuande Imperial Monument Site

In the center of the platform is a stone tablet

Yongle Imperial Monument Site in the South

The Yongle Imperial Monument was destroyed in the war of the Taiping Rebellion and no longer exists.

Continuing east along the central axis is the Tianwang Hall site. As soon as we enter the door, there is one-Cleansing the dust and purifying the heart. Here we conduct a small ceremony and feel the triple baptism, aromatherapy bath, light bath, and fog bath. Let us carry a clean, sacred and grateful heart-Cleansing the dust and purifying the heart and enter the solemn holy land of Dabaoen Temple.

The existing Tianwang Hall was built in accordance with royal specifications in the tenth year of Yongle. The plane is in the shape of a "middle", facing east and west, with five rooms entering three. The front steps and platform are in front of the hall, and the back steps are in front of the hall. There is a side hall connected to the north and south.

Glass is used in a large area in the museum, which not only makes the venue more transparent, but also shows us the original appearance of the site as much as possible. Walking into the exhibition hall, the first thing that comes into view is the large ruins. In order to protect the underground ruins, it was impossible to build temples on a large-scale. The shapes of rows of eaves and pillars on this ruins created invisible temples.

Use light lines to outline the shapes of the mountain gate and stele pavilions on both sides.

Through electronic screens and physical device displays, in front of the Thousand Gan Buddha Vein exhibition area, we can review the past and present lives of Da Baoen Temple.

Master Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty and Buddha Sakyamuni were separated by thousands of years. The top bone relic of Xuanzang and the real bone relic of the Buddha's top have been here for thousands of years.

This exhibition hall is called "Millennium Looking at each other", which expresses the supreme beauty of Master Xuanzang and Buddha Shakyamuni looking at each other through time and space, and the Buddhist story of "Seven Steps to Produce Lotus" and "Eight Forms of Mutual Understanding".

There are eight glass columns on both sides of the exhibition hall, implying that Sakyamuni Buddha complements the eight paths.

There is a sensing screen for seven lotus flowers on the trail. When you step on the trail, you will see lotus flowers grow in seven steps under your feet, which means that Buddha "grows lotus flowers in seven steps". At the same time, the rattles on the pillars next to them will also ring.

Buddha Sakyamuni and Master Xuanzang are thousands of years away, and Master Xuanzang is also thousands of years away from us. This is a look from two thousand years, and it is also a peaceful look after going through many wars. The heaviness of history and the depth of Dharma are truly wonderful when displayed in this high-tech form.

At the end of the corridor is Master Xuanzang's thin back smiling at the Buddha. In front of the 3D three-dimensional Buddha's head composed of optical fibers and more than 8000 crystal beads, a bronze sitting statue of Xuanzang faces the Buddha's head in meditation, forming a scene of gazing at the Buddha.

Dabaoen Temple was built by Zhu Di, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, in memory of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, and Empress Ma. It was rebuilt on the original site of Jianchu Temple in the tenth year of the Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1412). It took 19 years and cost 2.485 million taels of silver and 100,000 military services and civilian workers. Dabaoen Temple was initially established in its own construction, and its long-term work continued. Tianxi changed its name until Yongle Baoen Temple. Here, the construction scene of Dabaoen Temple is restored using a sand table model, showing the superposition of vertical ruins of Dabaoen Temple and the regulation of palaces. Architectural features.

Liuli official kilns. Most of the glaze construction in Dabaoen Temple comes from such Liuli official kilns. Glazed bricks and tiles were used as building materials for building palaces since the Northern Wei Dynasty. Since then, glass has been regarded as the highest grade building material and can only be used in royal buildings.

Exquisite glazed arches, which are reproduced according to the standard glazed arches of the Dabaoen Temple at that time.

Shihan is the underground palace of Changgan Tower in Changgan Temple in the Song Dynasty. There is a square covered stone 4.2 meters from the surface. Under the covered stone is a cylindrical stone letter, and iron letters are hidden in the stone letter. The stone slab of Shihan is engraved with Shihan notes, recording the historical events at that time.

Here, the sacred relics of the underground palace are introduced in detail in words and pictures

The iron box of this rectangle is placed inside the stone box we saw earlier. The Ashoka Tower was placed inside the iron box.

The lighting of the exhibition hall gives it a bit of mystery.

The Yijing Site, located on the north side of the northern part of Dabaoen Temple, is the site of Changgan Temple in the Song Dynasty.

This exhibition area displays precious Buddha statues from the royal temples of the Qing Dynasty. These are Buddhist statues made of wood and lacquer gold from the old collection of Yonghe Palace.

102 pieces of textiles of various types were cleared out of cultural relics unearthed in the underground palace of Changgan Temple in the Song Dynasty.

This is the tall, majestic and golden Pagoda of Seven Treasures Ashoka.

The Lianchi Sea Festival depicts the beautiful pure land world where Buddhas meet. The Lianchi Sea Festival brings together the images of famous eminent monks and great guardians who established sects and established sects in Nanjing, translated scriptures and preached, reflecting Nanjing's role in ancient China. An important position in the history of Buddhist thought.

The exquisite wood carvings show that Nanjing is the ancestral home of many Buddhist sects.

Andersen Statue

After reading this introduction, I realized why there is a statue of Andersen here? Andersen once described the glazed tower of Dabaoen Temple in the fairy tale "Garden of Heaven". This tower has long been regarded by the West as a symbol of Chinese architecture, and Andersen contributed greatly.

Dharma flourished during the Southern Dynasties and reached its peak during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty. Nanjing was the center of Buddhism in the country, so Du Mu's famous sentence "There are 480 temples in the Southern Dynasties, how many towers are in the misty rain" was a grand portrayal. Above the exhibition hall of the 480 temples in the Southern Dynasties, there are many Buddhist temples in the Southern Dynasties, and models of major temples are displayed on both sides.

The Jialan Temple site is located due north of the tower base, with a "convex" shape on the plane and facing south.

The rammed earth base in the center of the hall was rectangular. The hall was destroyed in the war of the Taiping Rebellion.

The site is protected with glass. The permeability of the glass also gives the site more vitality.

There are also projects that children can participate in. In the northeast corner of the exhibition hall, there is an archaeological excavation site specially prepared for children.

Follow the lotus corridor and walk into the Buddhist relics

A bright scene in which the Wanfang relics bloom in thousands of brilliance. The entire space of the Buddha's Buddha's Buddha is in a dome-like garden roof, covered with 42000 glass lamps, which doubles in number under the reflection of the glass surface, corresponding to 84,000 Dharma methods.

The two trees in front of the Buddha statue are also decorated with exquisite glass lamps. This should be the scene of Bodhi trees and thousands of Buddha relics.

The Buddhist Buddha of the relic originated from the beginning of the relic. In the middle, it shows the Buddha Nirvana under the double trees of the Saha, and the five Buddhist treasures behind it are solemn. In the middle of the space is a statue of Buddha with a smile on his eyebrows and a great mercy. In front of him lies a sleeping Buddha.

There is a reclining Buddha on the lotus seat,

The randomly changing seven-colored light is like a dream, echoing the record of seven times when the relic shines light.

The Jingbian Gallery in the site of Dabaoen Temple is also a major feature. The story is based on the "Nine-Colored Deer Sutra" of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. Unlike the small courtyards of other temples, the courtyards in Dabaoen Temple restore the large pattern of royal courtyards in the Ming Dynasty, surrounded by galleries. To the south is a restored complex corridor with a clear depth of 8 meters and walking on both sides. In the middle is a painted wall telling Buddhist stories, while the gallery in the north retains its original true appearance based on archaeological discoveries.

The easternmost end of the central axis of the site is the Fatang site. Fantang, also known as Jingtang, was Zhu Yuanzhang's main religious temple and the seat of the national Buddhist management agency.

There is a cinnabar display area here.

Looking at paintings with different themes, I am so envious

There are also the author's own photo sketches. Standing in front of these vivid and interesting paintings, I am so envious. Painting has always been something I want to learn, and I think that I can go to a senior college and pick up a brush to learn when I retire. But I didn't expect that more than a month after that, a friend of mine occasionally said that she was learning to draw. I didn't hesitate to follow the teacher she recommended to learn to draw online. Nowadays, the copying of pen and pen drawings is quite good. Haha, don't stop being curious about new things, life will be full of fun.

There is also a gratitude experience area

Walking out of the indoor exhibition hall and coming to a large square outdoors.

Standing on the square stands the Da Bao 'en Tower, the ruins of the underground palace

Among the Dabaoen Temple, the Liuli Pagoda was the most famous single building. It was the tallest building in the country at that time. It was also a miracle in the history of world architecture. It was ranked among the Seven Wonders of the World in the Middle Ages and was regarded by Westerners at that time as a landmark representing China. building. Moreover, its body is decorated with colorful glass. It is known as "China's great antique and Yongle's great kiln vessel" and is known as "the world's largest tower."

The underground palace is the most eye-catching exhibition hall in the museum, but it is completely different from the underground palace in Niushou Mountain. The underground palace here is the first floor of the tower. It feels like it symbolically creates the appearance of the underground palace. Now that I understand what my friend said at the beginning, I will have a different feeling after looking at the underground palace of Niushou Mountain and then at the underground palace of Dabaoen Temple. But the underground palace here is still very interesting in history. In 2008, a large number of world-class cultural relics and relics, including the highest specification, largest scale and most completely preserved temple sites in China, were unearthed from the underground palace of Changgan Temple, the predecessor of Dabaoen Temple. The "Inspiration Relic" is enshrined in a one-to-one replica of the Ashoka Tower. On the spherical sky of the underground palace, the story of Sakyamuni's enlightenment is playing.

Da Bao Enta now has an elevator that can go directly upstairs

The elevator goes straight to the 8th floor, and you can see the scenery of the south of the city from the top.

The entire glazed tower is fired with glaze, and 146 ever-burning lamps are externally installed inside the tower. The tower body is covered with white porcelain, and the arches are glazed. There is a corridor on the ground floor. The tower room is square, and the tower eaves, brackets, flat seats, and railings are decorated with five-color glazed bricks with Buddhist themes such as lions, white elephants, and flying sheep.

The Daxiong Hall is located in the center of the ruins of the Daxiong Temple. The plan is in a "convex" shape, facing east and west. The prominent part in front of the hall is the platform of the Daxiong Hall.

There is also a commodity sales area covering a large area in the ruins park

Various cultural and creative products are interesting and interesting

I spent an afternoon browsing here with my friends. This Goddess Festival is also meaningful, because it fulfilled my wish as a Nanjing native to see Da Baoen Temple. At that time, the construction of Dabaoen Temple was built completely in accordance with the standards of the imperial palace. The entire temple is extremely large in scale, with more than 30 temples, 148 monasteries, 118 corridor rooms, and 38 scripture rooms. It is the largest and highest-specification temple in Chinese history and the first among all temples. Today, we are here to see archaeological sites from various eras, streets and drainage, and even kiln sites with exquisite Buddha statues and temples with glazed tiles found in ancient wells. We can also see the Ashoka Golden Tower, stone letter, iron letter unearthed in the underground palace of Baoen Temple Pagoda. The park will design some themed exhibition areas here, combining ancient culture and modern art, allowing people to enjoy a dreamy visual feast. In my opinion, the current Nanjing Da Bao 'en Temple is no longer a temple. It is more like a museum. It gathers thousands of years of vicissitudes and tells the history of Buddhism in the Buddha.
