During the 2011 National Day holiday, I chose several cities bordering Anhui and Jiangsu along the Yangtze River, covering a total distance of 1304 kilometers. I expected driving congestion on National Day and left early at 3 pm on September 30, but what I didn't expect was that it took 2 hours to get on the highway from my home in Pudong through Puxi City. After finally getting on the highway, there were two serious traffic jams on the Suzhou and Changzhou sections of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway. The highway was like a parking lot. It was already 00 on October 1 to Nanjing. Shanghai to Nanjing is about 300 kilometers and a 9-hour drive, which is really terrible. Another terrible thing was that I drove from Nanjing to Ma 'anshan without using navigation at that time, relying entirely on paper maps, and somehow got a ticket for running a red light on the national highway.

October 1, 2011 (Nanjing weather: cloudy, 15 to 20 degrees)

At 0 o'clock, we arrived at the Nanjing Toll Station of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway. We traveled a total of 302 kilometers and charged 110 yuan for the highway.

At 0:50, I checked into Jinjiang Inn Nanjing Railway Station No. 2. The member discount price was 188 yuan/night, and the total travel was 324 kilometers.

On the morning of the 1st, I first bought Nanjing specialty salted duck. This is a osmanthus duck store on Heyan Road. The best salt duck in Nanjing is produced by Guihua Duck Group, which has many stores in the city. Among them, the taste of vacuum packaging is average, so you should buy deli salted duck that is eaten freshly.

The price of salted duck is 17.8 yuan/catty, which feels that the price in Nanjing is not expensive.

From Nanjing to Ma 'anshan, and then from Ma' anshan to Wuhu, I did not take the highway, but took National Highway 205. The largest enterprise in Ma 'anshan is Masang. Driving on National Highway 205 is like passing through Masang's factory area.

On the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, I saw congestion at the toll station entering Shanghai. I got off early from the Lujia Toll Station in Kunshan and took National Highway 312 into Shanghai. The whole way was smooth.

At 21:55, I returned to my home in Pudong, Shanghai, and drove a total of 1304 kilometers.
