In the beautiful Jiangnan, the coolness of the morning and evening dyed the maple forest red, accompanied by the autumn wind, blending the charm of the four seasons. Although Jiangnan has a full charm, it is different in different places. There is an endless stream of pedestrians at the Confucius Temple. If you feel noisy, I will live in a corner of Qixia Mountain and wait for your arrival.

Qixia Mountain, this used to be my deepest memory of Nanjing's autumn colors. In the autumn when I first entered college, the autumn scenery in Qixia Mountain was just right. I came here with several friends from Nanjing. An autumn rain fell, and the leaves of sycamore trees fell and covered the entire square. It was another autumn year, but it was early this year. It's still a little early, and the red scenery in the mountains still needs several autumn winds to catalyze it.

There are four seasons in the year, and everyone has their favorite season. Some people like the full vitality of spring, some people like the solemn tranquility of winter. I like the colorful colors of autumn. The autumn scenery is colorful, and the red leaves are covered in the mountains and fields., flowing gold and overflowing with Dan, and among the clusters of red leaves, there is always no shortage of viewers and admirers.

In November, early autumn has arrived, and all parts of the country have ushered in a wave of autumn tourism. At this time, the topic that those who love traveling are most concerned about is the place with the most beautiful autumn scenery. In Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, there is such a scenic spot. The scene of red maples covering the mountains and yellow has attracted countless people since ancient times.

This is Qixia Mountain. Qixia Mountain is located in Qixia District of Nanjing. It was called Shashan Mountain in ancient times and was known as the "No. 1 Mingxiu Mountain in Jinling." It is one of the four major maple attractions in China and can be said to be the most beautiful autumn scenery in China. Qixia Mountain, this used to be my deepest memory of Nanjing's autumn colors.

Arriving at Qixia Mountain, in early November, the chill in the air was not enough. Seeing the ginkgo leaves in front of the scenic area had not turned yellow. This was a journey of seeking, and I felt a little lost in my heart, but I had just entered the scenic area. Looking at the red maples in front of the Qixia Temple, the surprise and satisfaction at that moment were unparalleled. The journey was like this. There would always be some unexpected surprises waiting for you inadvertently.

Spring, summer, autumn and winter, in different seasons, Qixia Mountain shows us different scenery. If we choose the most beautiful time among the four seasons, then Qixia Mountain in autumn is undoubtedly the most dazzling one. Every late autumn, the mountains are covered with red, like sunset. It is spectacular. It attracts many tourists with its unique charm and is one of the four major red leaf viewing scenic spots in my country.

Qixia Mountain was called Shashan in ancient times. It is located in the northeastern suburbs of Nanjing City. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the Yangtze River in the north. Since ancient times, it has been sought after by countless people, including ancient emperors. According to statistics, 19 emperors have visited Qixia Mountain successively. Among them, Qianlong visited Jiangnan six times, and they visited it five times. It can be said that Qixia Mountain should be regarded as the most popular scenic spot among ancient emperors.

Qixia Mountain is full of historical relics, and every place is worth slowly appreciating. Walking through Mingjing Lake, this is the first view of Qixia Mountain. There is a lake-center pavilion in the lake and a Jiuqu Bridge connected to the bank. The shape is exquisite. I heard from the tour guide that although the red maples at the foot of the mountain have never turned red, they only need an autumn rain. Maybe just one night, the wonderful magic of nature has ended.

[Qixia Ancient Temple]

Across Mingjing Lake is Qixia Ancient Temple. In fact, I was not familiar with this temple before, and I never expected that this ancient temple, which has not been famous far away, has a very high status in Buddhism. Qixia Temple is one of the four famous temples in China and the birthplace of the "Three Lun Sects" of Buddhism. It houses the largest stupa in China. Listening to the melodious sound of scriptures, my footsteps gradually slow down.

Qixia Ancient Temple, Qixia Temple is located at the western foot of the middle peak of Qixia Mountain in Qixia District, Nanjing City. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the Yangtze River in the north. It is one of the four famous temples in China, the birthplace of the "Three Lunsects" of Buddhism, the center of China's Buddhism during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and was equally famous as Jiming Temple and Dingshan Temple during the Southern Dynasties. It can be said that Qixia Ancient Temple has a very high status in Buddhism, but not many people know about it. It can be said that it is very low-key.

The main building of the temple runs east-west, and the gate, the Hunha Hall, is at the westernmost end. This little-known temple is worth tasting carefully, but many things you can't think of have different history and significance. For example, behind the crescent moon pool is the Maitreya Hall. The small pavilion on the north side is easily ignored. However, there is a Monument to the King of the Ming Dynasty in memory of the founder of the temple. This is one of the few remaining Tang Dynasty Xingshu steles in China.

Qixia Temple is located at the foot of Qixia Mountain and is the most essential attraction in Qixia Mountain Scenic Area. The temple was built in the Southern Dynasties. The monuments that must not be missed include the Ming Zhengjun Monument, the stupa, and the Thousand Buddha Rock, which is like a reduced version of the Yungang Grottoes. Walking into the temple, red maple, ginkgo, ancient temple, and autumn colors blend together, and the picture in front of you is as beautiful as a painting.

If I say the place I aspire to most in the temple, my answer is the Sutra Pavilion, which was brought to me by the TV series "Shaolin Temple". Of course, the scripture depots in reality will not be like that. Walking into the scripture depots in Qixia Temple changed my understanding of the scripture depots a lot. Several masters are sitting at tables inside, carefully restoring ancient scriptures more than a hundred years ago. According to the masters, this job may seem easy, but it is not easy.

This is a detailed job that tests the skills of one's hands, and more importantly, patience, because sitting at the table in an afternoon may only be able to repair a few pages of paper, but they will not be able to repair the damaged scriptures in the Sutra Depository in their lives. In addition to the temple masters, there will also be some believers from society who will come here to help. This is the power of faith, using one's limited strength to accomplish things that cannot be done in a lifetime.

"The head of the ox in spring and the sunset in autumn". Qixia Mountain has been an excellent place to enjoy autumn scenery since the Ming Dynasty. In history, five kings and fourteen emperors have climbed Qixia Mountain. Among them, Qianlong visited the south of the Yangtze River six times and visited Qixia Mountain five times. This can also be seen from the side that Qixia Mountain is the most beautiful autumn scenery in the world. Arriving at Qixia Mountain, it seems particularly leisurely outside the weekend. Walking slowly, facing the autumn wind, I have seen the leaves fall...

In the autumn of Qixia Mountain, every place has intoxicating scenery. Even if it is not the roadside of the scenic spot, there will be surprises. On the winding road not far from Luyu Tea House on the top of the mountain, the trees on both sides of the road have changed into autumn clothes. Leaves fall with the autumn wind, and the leaves fall in the final analysis is the best destination.

Autumn in the south comes later than autumn in the north, and the ginkgo leaves in front of the mountain gate are still as green. Although the season is not yet here, the red leaves on the top of the mountain have already had autumn color. On a winding road not far from Luyu Tea House, on the road, there are a wide variety of red maples, chicken claw maple, triangular maple... on both sides of the road, various red leaves are spread throughout the entire mountain top.

There are several places to enjoy autumn in Qixia Mountain, including the Autumn Avenue adjacent to Luyu Tea House, the Hongye Valley covering an area of 50,000 square meters or Fenglin Lake. Each place has scenery that makes you happy, and every place will make you intoxicated. A burst of autumn wind swept by, and the flames danced, red leaves reflected the sky, fruits were on the branches, and the layers of forest were dyed.

If you want to see the spectacular autumn scenery, then Hongye Valley and Fenglin Lake are great places to go. Here, there are strange rocks, swaying red maples, and winding ancient vines. Here, you can see mountains, stones, water forests and pavilions. Red leaf viewing area, if you like to take photos, wear a Han costume and wait until the maple leaves are all red. Stand among these pavilions and pavilions, with the red leaves in the mountains as the background, just think about it.

Late autumn has arrived quietly, and the scenery still exists. It's just a turn, and everything has been lost. Maybe autumn in other places is like this. One turn, one autumn wind, the leaves return to their roots, and there is no autumn color anymore. The autumn scenery of Qixia Mountain is not the case. In November, many places have already entered late autumn, and the autumn scenery is gradually fading, and the autumn scenery here is the time to enjoy it.
