My family said that for this year's birthday, we should not work. Let's go to Nanjing to have fun and find a more suitable place to relax, so this trip to Lishui was born.
Lishui is located in the southeastern suburbs of Nanjing. If you only know about Nanjing in the city's Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River, then Lishui is the best place to travel away from the fast pace and the hustle and bustle.
It is not recommended to take public transportation for travel to many scenic spots in Lishui because it will be time-consuming. Self-driving is more suitable in some places because they are all scattered, especially the tour around Shijiu Lake. Driving along the lake feels great.

Don't think about going to high-end restaurants during your trip to Lishui. The farmhouses here will make people feel happy to eat. The first experience of eating a farmhouse occurred in Lishui.
Starting from Shanghai or downtown Nanjing, it is recommended to arrive in Lishui at noon and drive there by yourself. You can pick up the car at the high-speed rail station in other places.

Self-driving around Shijiu Lake

I am the one who is not beautiful when traveling. Shijiu Lake is called the Sky, but I can't see anything on rainy days. Maybe I'm the only one who is visiting the lake on rainy days. I didn't meet anyone else taking photos along the way. People, it's not bad to comfort yourself, you don't need to compete with others to take photos.

The first point we went was the first work area. Walking west along Sister Tian's house, you can see good scenery along the lake. Don't follow the navigation and follow the road below, be sure to follow the lake! Open along the lake. The lighthouse in a work area is a check-in point for Internet celebrities. It can capture the feeling of Little Kenting. You can only imagine it yourself. There is no sunshine or blue sky here, so you can only feel deep and rainy.

Fortunately, I was wearing some out-of-the-blue clothes and wearing a transparent umbrella. It seemed to feel good. There was a tree next to the lighthouse. In fact, it was not a scenic spot. It was just that everyone felt that a tree was really lonely. Don't take a photo with it. It would be very uncomfortable, so I decided to give it an umbrella to give it some warmth.

After driving to Luoshan Village, we also drove towards the lake and along the lake. You could see a bridge, a pavilion, a dam, and a sign marking the Swan Reserve. Probably due to the weather, we didn't see a single swan. Could we have all gone to hide from the rain? Be careful when you go up the dam. The whole slope is on a slope. Wear non-slip shoes.

After locating Zhang Xu, you can see the trestle bridge that has been photographed countless times nearby. This is an abandoned private area and requires climbing a wall to enter. It is not very difficult and can basically pass it. Zhang Xu is also one of the more famous photo spots around Shijiu Lake. The chinchilos seaweed in early April will be particularly beautiful. When late April passes, what I can see now can only be what I see now. I heard that the high tide is coming in May, so it should be good to go and take a walk on the trestle bridge in summer.

When I went there, the chinchilla seaweed was already sparse and scattered. I really envied those little videos of the seaweed swaying in the wind. Just like the scene in the Thousand and Thousand Spirited Away, there are indeed many small insects in the grass, but they don't seem to bite me, but I still recommend spraying insect spray or wearing trousers.

Tickets: None
Suggest to check in: take a lighthouse to a work area, take a dam to see swans and go to Luoshan Village, take a trestle and Chinchilo seaweed to Zhangxu

rose Garden

Nanjing's first rose-themed estate. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I really couldn't imagine that there would be such a large-scale rose garden in Lishui. In late April, some roses and roses bloomed one after another, and many of them were buds. The rose garden in May must be super beautiful.

There will be many rose varieties here, such as French Chiba roses, Yunnan red roses, ink red roses, Bulgarian Damascus roses, etc. We often use them to make tea, etc. There will be a self-produced and self-sold rose peripheral products, and you can smell the fragrance of roses when you get close.

The entire Rose Garden is divided into several areas, both indoor and outdoor, three-dimensional flower landscape, beautiful flower creek, marriage road, love tunnel, romantic road, heart-to-heart bond, flower sea windmills, rose maze and other areas.

The rose maze is full of rose varieties that climb vines. Unfortunately, I came too early. If all of them were in full bloom, I think it would be Alice in Wonderland in Nanjing. It's quite beautiful now.

Inadvertent intersection will have some good scenery. The Rose Garden is a place where girls can't stop taking photos. It is recommended to leave more time to take photos, wear solid and light-colored clothes, and bring a straw hat to match them.

Tickets: 30 yuan
Play time: It is recommended to reserve 2 hours

Shili Guoxiang Baiguoyuan

It's cherry picking season again!
Every year from late April to early May is the best picking season for our domestic cherries. Local friends introduced this orchard, which is close to Tianshengqiao Scenic Area.

I feel that there are many kinds of cherries in its home, some are dark red, some are orange, and some are pink orange. I personally think that the pink orange is the sweetest, which has the sour and sweet taste. It happened that it rained in the morning, so you don't need to wash the cherries you pick. You can eat them directly in your mouth.

The picking technique I have summarized myself is to pick the big ones higher up. They are all very sweet. It is best to taste them first and put them in your own basket. Many birds will sneak into the planting area in their orchard. The tree the birds eat is often sweet-mouthed. I heard that fruit farmers get many birds out of the net every day, but I don't know how they all get in.

There is a farmhouse restaurant in the orchard, and different vegetables and meat are prepared every day. You can go to the kitchen and choose them yourself. In addition to cherries, the orchard also has other fruits, and it feels that there are items to pick every season.

Price: ¥150/person, pick a basket and take it away. You can eat whatever you want in the orchard. Tickets are free.
Address: Jiutang Village, Lishui District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province
Tip: If there are a large number of people, it is recommended to make an appointment in advance. It is recommended not to wear white shoes, which may cause dirt.

Tiansheng Bridge Scenic Area

This is a key cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province and a 4A-level scenic spot. Speaking of must-visit attractions in Lishui, it is known as one of the new 48 scenic spots in Jinling. It is known as the Yanzhi River and Tiansheng Bridge, known as the Small Three Gorges in the south of the Yangtze River. You must remember to buy a ticket to visit the "Small Three Gorges".

The scenic spot is not very large, and the surrounding public transportation is also very convenient. You can reach Lishui by two tours and three routes. If you are not a friend who is driving yourself, this scenic spot is still a very suitable choice.

You can't see the top of the mountain when you enter the entire scenic area from the door. It feels flat, but in fact, you are playing down and browsing counterclockwise all the way. I personally think the canyon river here at Tiansheng Bridge is more like a ground crack. Tiansheng Bridge is 34 meters long, 9 meters wide, and 8.9 meters thick. The bridge deck to the river bottom is 36 meters, which is equivalent to the height of a 12-story building.

The time to take a pleasure boat is about 15 minutes. On the cruise line back and forth, you can take beautiful pictures of Tiansheng Bridge by sitting on the bow on the way out, and you can also take beautiful pictures of Tiansheng Bridge by sitting on the stern on the way back.

There is an Internet celebrity rainbow slide in the scenic area, a wave slide about 100 meters long. It slides down while sitting on the atmosphere, but it is not open on rainy days, so I can only give up.

Tickets: Tickets with pleasure boats are 67, and if you add rainbow slides, it is 97.
Recommended play time: 2 hours
Opening time: 8:00-17:00

Wuxiang Mountain Scenic Area

Wuxiang Mountain Scenic Area is a scenic spot without tickets. It is a good place to explore the past. You must drive up the mountain for the entire journey. If you climb the mountain, it may take a long time. Even by driving yourself, you can reach the ancient Wuxiang Temple and Tianchi Lake directly. However, if you want to browse the 100-step ladder and experience how the monks in the temple went to the Tianchi Lake to collect water, you also need to climb the mountain. Now the upward climbing route of Guwuxiang Temple is being maintained.

If you want to take a hundred steps on the ladder, you can enter from Tianchi Lake and go all the way down. However, the passage of Guwuxiang Temple is temporarily closed (you can see whether the fence and the bamboo forest are sealed off, there can still be walking there for the time being) If it is closed, you need to climb back to Tianchi Lake and go out. In fact, there are several points on this road, such as cliff stone carvings, Longming Pond, stone ladders and cloud viewing, etc.

The internal renovation of Guwuxiang Temple has been temporarily suspended, and the exterior can be seen. There is a very beautiful Metasequoia forest nearby. You can see it while driving on Baihu Road.

Recommended car route: Enter the tourist center, go to Guwuxiang Temple first, then drive to Tianchi Crossing to get off and climb the mountain. After browsing Tianchi, drive back to the tourist center.
Driving browsing time is approximately 2 hours
Tianchi Tickets: 10 yuan

Menghuayuan

Not many people know about Menghuayuan, and it is also a beautiful place to take photos. Menghuayuan is very close to Sister Tian's house where she lives. It is a landscape dominated by flower gardens.

If you miss the tulips in the garden, but there are also carefully built landscape pavilions, it is not recommended to rent bicycles in Menghuayuan. It can be used as a park and it is enough to walk around for 1-2 hours.

Tickets: 45 yuan
Play time: 1.5 hours

Wuxiangshui Town

The huge Wuxiangshui Town now doesn't charge tickets. Although it is a man-made attraction, it does not prevent it from looking good and easy to shoot. It mixes with the Tang Dynasty Japanese courtyard style. I feel a bit like the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden in Xi'an, except that it is more modern.

Wuxiangshui Town is divided into several areas. Those who want to see buildings can visit the area of the City God Temple. If you want to live in it, a B & B area has been planned inside, which looks very good. If you like shopping, there is also a commercial street inside.

This scenic spot is suitable for wearing Hanfu to play and take photos. There are also shops on the commercial street that provide rental. By the way, there is also an Internet celebrity Wuxie Ice Cream store that has also settled in.

There is a pastry shop near the exit. I must bring a box of continuous cakes back. I regret not buying an extra box. Now I have nothing to buy when I return to Shanghai.

Tips: The park officially opens on May Day and requires an appointment to enter the park

Lishui

The B & Bs in Lishui are all made very carefully. The two B & Bs I chose each have their own characteristics. The rooms, services, and catering are all quite good, which makes me feel warm in this strange place of Lishui.

Tianjiejia

It is located in Zhujia Village, closest to Lishijiu Lake, and it is the only B & B. I heard that this will be a supported project in the village, so the business is very formal. Some old houses in the village will be taken over to make B & Bs and do business. You can also see coffee shops being renovated at the entrance of the village.

I found that each building type and even each room in the B & B here is different. Our building only has two rooms. I stayed in Yunmei, which is located on the second floor. It has an independent tatami tea room. It has a super transparent large bedroom and 2 north and south balconies. The design of my room is biased towards the combination of modern rural areas and Japanese style.

I like the tatami tea room very much. The landscape is very good. I can brew my own kung fu tea. There are also some books to read by the wall. In Sister Tian's B & B, I feel my own time and space.

The environment in the village is very good. It's very comfortable to blow the wind on the large balcony; the window in the bedroom is my favorite design. The window extends outward. Outside the window is another B & B. If I don't say it, I may think it's a picture hanging on the wall.

If you don't drive there by yourself, the B & B also provides a charged pick-up service. However, I heard from the housekeeper that more people come to the lake by themselves, and they will also provide some photos and travel tips and post them at the front desk.

Yunxiang Takesami

It feels like it is the first choice for small business groups in Nanjing. Several group companies come here every week. On the day we checked in, we left one and moved in. There is also a motorcycle track not far away, so there will be many motorcycle owners coming here to live.

As the name suggests, in a bamboo forest, there are rooms by the pool and halfway up the mountain. The lobby is at the lowest point, and the restaurant is at the highest point of the hillside. There are many self-produced and sold agricultural and sideline products in the B & B, such as roosters and hens, eggs and duck eggs, miscellaneous grains, etc. What surprised me is that there are salty duck eggs made by myself. Every morning, the auntie in the B & B will go to the place where she raises ducks. Collect duck eggs, some are served to us at breakfast, and some are sold for sale.

The room was mainly decorated in a new Chinese style. After looking at three rooms, I finally chose this room. The layout of each room was a little different. Our room was backed by a bamboo forest and faced the pool. It was still very nice. There is a living room area separated from the large space, and it is very good to rest and chat here.

During my stay, I didn't walk behind the B & B. When I left, I realized that there was also a large picking garden here. If I came in summer, I would definitely be able to pick fresh pears.

Eat in Lishui Pinghu Fresh Fish Restaurant

The fish head soup of Pinghu Fresh Fish Restaurant is an old restaurant in Dongping Town, and there are also several restaurants around that make fish head soup. It is very close to the Lishui High-speed Railway Station. It is 3 kilometers away. There are many reservoirs in Lishui. I heard that these fish heads are regularly sold in the reservoirs. They are very delicious and comparable to the fish heads of Qiandao Lake, so I want to try them.

The fish head soup served was a big pot. Two people couldn't finish it. The fish meat was very tight. The boss said that he would kill the fish head in advance every morning and put it aside, so it was very fresh. The tofu in the soup was also purchased every day. I was in a very good mood while drinking the milk white soup.

Red amaranth is a seasonal dish, and the stir-fried here is also very tender. With a little garlic added, it tastes very fragrant.

The alfalfa dumplings were introduced by the owner of the store. They said that alfalfa is a small local wild vegetable and tastes very good. I felt a little like shepherd's purse when I entered it. It is not the soft taste of green vegetables, but a relatively chewy dish. Moreover, it has a faint fragrance, which is more delicious than shepherd's purse filling. I have really never seen this dish anywhere else.

Sister Tian's "Food Knowledge Warehouse"

At the beginning of the travel note, I mentioned that the farmhouse that made me feel full was a small dish I booked at Sister Tian's house. Dinner at Sister Tian's house had to be booked with the housekeeper one day in advance. In order to better prepare fresh dishes, we would order before 9 p.m. the night before, and an electronic menu would be sent. Their restaurant has a nice name called "Zhishiku".

Zhishiku's menu mainly focuses on delicious local ingredients and northern Jiangsu cooking methods. You must eat fish heads when you live in Shijiu Lake. Since you have drunk the soup at noon, let's have a braised fish head at night. It's enough for two people to eat small portions. I didn't expect the braised fish head cooked in northern Jiangsu to be so delicious and feel like a good dish. Ordering fish-flavored eggplant for vegetarian dishes is also very good for rice. It is a dish recommended by the housekeeper. It proves in real time that I don't need to order seaweed soup. Those two dishes made me full, and I added a bucket of rice.

Before eating, I walked around the village and found a young man driving a truck to sell vegetables. I bought super fresh local tomatoes with roots from him. I took them back to Sister Tian's house and asked the chef to help process them. It's also good to make a fried tomato egg.

Yunxiang Takesami farmhouse dish

Who would have thought that a B & B with only more than 30 rooms in total would actually have a booming kitchen business every day, and there was no need to order and prepare dishes in advance. The appointment was for dinner at 6 o'clock, and the restaurant was already full. Fortunately, after checking in, I arranged to eat braised stupid cock, otherwise they wouldn't have had time to cook it.

The price of a stupid rooster is not cheap, but you can tell the quality of the chicken in your mouth. The braised chicken tastes spicy to me. I am a person who doesn't eat spicy food. I can accept the hottest degree. This pot of chicken will be cooked with chicken blood. The cooking method is quite special, and the chicken blood is also very delicious.

How can the mussel and bacon pot soup be so delicious? Although I have eaten this seasonal mussel soup in ancient towns around Shanghai, it is not as fragrant as they do. Perhaps it has added the aroma of bacon.

Wine cakes are must-ordered at every table. There are 8 fried wine cakes. If you look at them, you will eat them at your head, and they will be finished in a short time.
However, there is one dish that I may not be used to. The stir-fried Malan head here is stir-fried with vegetable oil and sugar, perhaps to borrow the bitter taste in the dish, but this is my first time trying the sweet Malan head.

Rongyue Building

Because I happened to choose this place for dinner on the weekend, I knew that it was popular, so I came to the queue early. This restaurant is a well-known local restaurant in Lishui. Many Lishui people celebrate their birthdays and go to this place for family dinners. Consumption is not cheap locally, but it is similar to the urban area of Nanjing.

I ordered some signature dishes: mustard shrimp balls, fresh stewed bean skin, Beijing fruit roast duck, braised beef brisket with quail eggs, crab roe dumplings, dried bamboo shoots, etc.

Every dish doesn't taste very good, especially the stewed bean skin. Before going upstairs, I saw the freshly cooked one on the first floor. This bean skin may be the best I have ever tasted. The roast duck ate a piece of duck skin. The sauce tasted very good. The duck skin was crispy and tender when it was hot. Let me have a dried bamboo shoot. I didn't expect that the dried bamboo shoots in this season would be so tender.

Dinner starts at five o'clock, but you can choose your seat and order in advance at four thirty. This restaurant has lunch breaks in the afternoon, so remember to make sure to go to the meal in advance.
