Living in Changzhou, I always go to Nanjing several times a year, mostly for transportation transfers, and some to meet friends and do something I particularly want to do. Among them, going to Qixia Mountain to admire maple leaves is something I particularly want to do. Therefore, in early November, I invited three or five friends to go with me. I brought my photography equipment, and my friends were responsible for beauty. In addition to Maple Leaf, of course, there were models to make the finishing touch.

Transportation recommendation

Let's first briefly talk about the traffic strategies of Qixia Mountain! Qixia Mountain is located at No. 88 Qixia Street, Qixia District, Nanjing City. In terms of geographical location, it is still quite far away from Nanjing City. If it were not for the maple leaves, I am afraid many Nanjing locals would not come here for nothing, let alone foreign tourists.

If you are driving a car, you can directly navigate the destination name, so I won't go into it too much. It takes an hour to drive by car from near Nanjing South Railway Station, because I took the high-speed train from Changzhou to Nanjing South Railway Station, and then my friends in Nanjing drove to pick me up and directly navigated the scenic spot to which I was going.

There are not many tourists in Qixia Mountain in early November. If it is the best season to admire maple trees, it is not recommended to drive there by car, because the reception volume of the old scenic spot is not strong and it is difficult to find a parking space. Moreover, construction is still underway outside the scenic area, making it even more difficult to support the car! If you take public transportation, there are buses No. 138, No. 194, No. 195, No. 197, No. 207, No. 326, No. 327, and No. 743 to get off at Qixia Temple Station. I think the most convenient way to get to the city is to take Metro Line 2 to Xueze Road Station, and then transfer to Bus No. 138 for direct access. Not to mention other things, Nanjing's public transportation network is also very developed across the country, so there is no need to worry about inconvenience.

Qixia mountain

Speaking of domestic maple attractions, Nanjing Qixia Mountain can be said to be the oldest well-known scenic spot in the country. Especially in Jiangsu, it can be said to be a household name. So we came here to enjoy the red maples just as we entered November, walking in front of a large number of tourists, hoping to take photos that are more satisfying to us. Just like everyone loves to eat steamed buns that have just come out of the pot, the steaming hot ones are the most fragrant at first hand. The following strategies will be sent to you in a timely manner.

After buying tickets to enter the scenic area, there is a corridor full of wind chimes, where you can write your name and beautiful vision and then hang them on a rope. In this way, the wind can help you achieve this and make a clear and pleasant sound to convey good luck to every visitor. I will write my dream of "getting rich". I wonder what you will write?

Then walking further will be the real beginning of the maple appreciation journey. It should be explained first that although Qixia Mountain is not very high at sea level, it is still quite large in area. Therefore, when you come here to enjoy autumn, you must wear sports shoes and clothing to avoid inconvenience. There are also battery sightseeing buses to ride in the scenic area, suitable for tourists who are physically weak or in a hurry. Tourists who like to exercise and have enough time are advised to walk to keep fit. At the same time, there are many unknown scenery waiting to be discovered along the way.

Two places are recommended here to enjoy maple trees in Qixia Mountain. One is Hongye Valley and the other is Fenglin Lake. The reason is very simple. As the name suggests, the Red Leaf Valley has the most red leaves, so there is nothing wrong with coming here to admire the maple leaves; and Fenglin Lake is an artificial lake. The scenery reflected by the quiet lake water can have many imaginations and can conceive many pictures that make people's eyes shine.

Hongye Valley is located at the junction of Imperial Garden and the southwest mountainside of Fengxiang Peak. The battery sightseeing bus stops here, and there are also stone tablets at the entrance, which are easy for tourists to find. The strange rocks in the scenic area complement each other with the maple leaves. Because the landform, water and other resources here are relatively good, it is also more suitable for the growth of maple trees. This is a red leaf viewing area integrating mountains, stones, water forests and pavilions. When the red leaves reach their best viewing period, tourists here will definitely follow.

Because Red Leaf Valley is rich in red leaves, it is recommended to take close-ups of some leaves. You can shoot with a large aperture lens of a SLR, so that the background can easily blur and highlight the theme. If you use a mobile phone, it is easy to take pictures of chaos. It doesn't matter much if you don't take the leaves. If there is a beautiful model and the color of the clothing is well matched with the maple leaves, it will be very easy to take the photos.

Fenglin Lake is located on the southwest side of Fengxiang Peak, not very far from Hongye Valley. The highest peak of Qixia Mountain is Fengxiang Peak, with an altitude of 286 meters, while Fenglin Lake has an altitude of 200 meters. It can be regarded as an artificial lake on the mountain. Since it is an artificial lake, there are naturally piles of artificial rocks here, which looks like a Jiangnan garden.

Fenglin Lake has the beauty of a garden and is integrated with the surrounding natural mountains. Although it is done by people, it opens from the sky, giving people an experience of being original and returning to nature. But even with the red leaves, the sky here seems too calm. If there was a beautiful woman like a mirror, the picture would suddenly come alive and become much more vivid. It is recommended that beautiful models can wear cheongsam or Hanfu and pose as if they naturally appreciate the mountains and rivers.

However, Qixia Mountain is very big, so there is no need to pursue those two points too persistently. Other places also have good exquisiteness. As long as you are good at discovering and feeling beauty, you can take a set of photos you like even on a small road, and you don't have to copy them with others. How great!

To sum up, if you come to Qixia Mountain to play, you also want to take a set of good photos in the next Maple Leaf Season. In addition to maple leaves, it is best to have models. Only the combination of movement and movement can always give people the feeling of being eye-catching. Clothing wearing is also recommended for distinctive national costumes such as cheongsam and Hanfu, but the color must be avoided with dark colors. If it is close to maple leaves, it will be difficult to play a finishing touch. Mo Ye can also use oil-paper umbrellas, fans and other shooting props to make more natural movements.

There are maple leaves in Qixia Mountain, but not just red leaves. There is also a Qixia Ancient Temple at the entrance of the scenic spot. Because the only way to the scenic spot, it is difficult for tourists not to stop here for a while. This ancient temple with a history of 1530 years has a deep heritage and strong incense. It is one of the four famous temples in China. We also made a brief visit and visit here before admiring the maple trees.

Not everyone has this belief, and it doesn't matter if you don't. The ancient temple has a quiet environment and is also suitable for taking photos and checking in. Just don't take photos of Buddha statues or monks. The places suitable for taking photos are all small architectural scenery. My favorite thing is the red gate here. Except for noon, it is very beautiful with mottled light and shadow!

Of course, if you also have the leisure time, you can come here to sit and relax, and it is also great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. The garden landscape around Qixia Ancient Temple is very good. However, whether you are alone or traveling with a partner, you may as well rest here and breathe the fresh air.

We also paid an in-depth visit to the temple and followed the staff and listened to some masters to explain some knowledge about restoring scriptures. The scriptures restored here are all left over from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and exist in the Buddhist scriptures in the temple. I won't go into more detail about the rest. If this is convenient and interesting, you can experience it yourself.

The ticket price for Qixia Mountain is 40 yuan/person, and there is a half-price discount for the elderly and students. Opening hours of the scenic spot: 7:00 to 17:30(admission stops at 17:00), and the opening hours of the tour are still very reasonable. When you come to Qixia Mountain, it is recommended to spend one day. However, accommodation is not particularly recommended to live near scenic spots. It is still recommended to live in the urban area. There will be more delicious and fun food. If you rotate around the busiest place, you will definitely choose to live in Xinjiekou, Nanjing, the center of the city.

I chose this hotel because it was very convenient to eat and drink coffee at night, and it was clean and comfortable. I searched around Xinjiekou and found that the surrounding hotels were either luxurious high-star hotels or affordable hotels with small spaces. Only one Meihao Lizhi, which focuses on urban leisure, gave me a unique feeling, and then I decisively placed an order!

The hotel comes from Exit 20 of Xinjiekou Subway Station and walks about two to three hundred meters. There are many room types in their home. I chose a city view leisure room this time, with large glass windows on the entire wall. When I opened the curtains, I saw the major shopping malls in Xinjiekou such as Deji and Jinying. All kinds of prosperity have a panoramic view. Both the rooms and the public areas on the first floor are spacious and comfortable to highlight the temperature. The decoration is in a new Chinese style and is particularly beautiful.

For example, there are very many toiletries in the room, with five or six items. The drinks given by other families may be small bottles of mineral water, which will be gone after two gulps. In addition to the small bottle, their family also provided a 2.5L bottle of Nongfu Spring. This surprised me, who loves tea. After all, the small bottle was not enough for the hot water kettle. In addition, a lot of complimentary water was placed at the elevator entrance, which was very considerate.

Of course, the elevator requires swiping the room card to operate, which also ensures the privacy and security of our residents. Suddenly, I, a passer-by, could enjoy a moment of tranquility in the place wrapped in reinforced concrete. The details of the hotel are also commendable, with free cookies and apples at the front desk at check-in. Afternoon tea in the restaurant can last until 10 p.m., and you can drink tea while reading. If you come late, you can serve a bowl of hot white porridge to nourish the stomach and relieve hunger. Even the room card is printed with Van Gogh's famous starry sky paintings. It is full of literature and art, which can be seen in urban leisure.
