Gucheng Lake fills the city and enjoys slow life

Gaochun is a place full of memories for me. As a local, I come here quite a lot, especially during my school days for autumn and spring tours. The school always likes to come here. It is an hour's drive from the city, which is very suitable for suburban tours. In a place where Gaochun's old streets are still the same as before, but Mancheng Yaxi and Gucheng Lake have injected new vitality into him. Gaochun always appeared in my compositions in the past, but now it is recorded in travel notes and written to more people. Let's travel around Gaochun with me.

Gucheng Lake Water Mancheng

It coincides with the Lotus Festival and lasts until the end of August. Gucheng Lake Water Slow City is a vacation and leisure experience destination integrating water sports, leisure and vacation. There are many places to play, including the lake and sea, Baihe Garden, Wetland Zoo, fishing valley, etc.

A unique water park in summer. It is a 50-meter-long water rush event. If you win, you will get prizes. There is a lifeguard brother who will accompany you to rush through the pass, so children don't have to worry about playing on it.

If you are younger, you can swim directly in this pink pool and experience the coolness of swimming in the water.

The most suitable thing for summer is lotus flowers. The nearly thousand-acre lotus pond is a feast for the eyes. You can also take bamboo rafts and awning boats to play in it.

You can ask the boatman to hold your boat here, or you can hold your boat yourself. However, if you accidentally fail to figure out the channel, it may take several hours. A skilled boatman also needs an hour to go back and forth.

Of course, there are advantages to playing yourself. You can stay in one place as long as you want, go deep into the lotus pond and smell the fragrance of lotus flowers.

The lotus leaves connecting the sky are endless green, and the lotus flowers reflecting the sun are particularly red. The green lotus leaves surge to the sky, making people feel like they are in the endless green; and the beautiful lotus flowers look particularly beautiful under the shining sun. This was originally talking about the West Lake in June, but in my eyes, it is far less than this thousand-acre lotus pond.

How many places can tourists get along with lotus flowers so close, and how many places can you see such spectacular lotus ponds? Not only are there many types of lotus flowers in the park, but the blooming period lasts from June to September.

Gucheng Lake Happy Fishing Hotel

The place to eat in the evening is also a very interesting venue for fishing competitions.

There is a Ziquanbei Fishing League here. These people are all practicing to prepare for the next day's competition. This is the first time I saw professional fishing. It's really amazing. As soon as the bait is put into the water, within 5 seconds, the fish in the pool will be hooked. Then quickly pull the lever and put it into the water tank. This cycle is repeated. As fast as you can fish 2 or 3 fish in a minute. In the end, whoever catches the heaviest fish will win the competition.

Tourists staying at the store can also fish here. The fish caught can be taken home or processed by the hotel. All are free ~

The dinner in the evening also surprised me, especially since this flower blooms and is rich. This is the first time I have eaten a lotus flower when cooking with lotus flowers. The eating method is also very simple. Open the membrane and wrap the lotus flower with the vegetables together. Inside, and then eat it in one bite. This dish with shrimp slips steamed with flower buds is also one of my favorite dishes. I have never eaten it before, but after combining the two, it is surprisingly even more delicious. Add shrimp slips to the flower buds and you can eat the meat of flower buds in one bite. You can also eat the shrimp slips. It is double delicious and brings multiple enjoyment to the taste buds.

Enjoy slow life in Gaochun Old Street

Gaochun Old Street is located in Chunxi Street, so it is also known as Chunxi Old Street. It is the most well-preserved ancient building complex in Jiangsu Province and the most completely preserved ancient street in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in East China. It is known as the "Second Confucius Temple in Jinling" and known as the "First Ancient Street in Jinling" and has a history of more than 900 years.

I posted a post on my circle of friends saying that I was visiting Gaochun Old Street during the Dragon Boat Festival. It also reminded my junior high school classmates. Many things have changed in my memories, and many things have not changed. Most of the shops here are passed down from generation to generation. Commercial homogeneity is almost invisible here. This is also my favorite place ~ The most local characteristics here are Chunxi Old Wine, Gucheng Lake Crab, Old Street Shoes, Feather tribute fans, pearl ornaments, fragrant dried tofu, flavored cakes, etc. Among them, Chunxi Laojiu, Gucheng Lake crabs and feather tribute fans are the most famous.

Most of the houses in Gaochun Old Street are houses with shops in front and back. They are building-style double-layer brick-and-wood structures, peach eaves and arches, wooden raft door panels, engraved window panes, horse head fire walls, and butterfly tiles. The typical Jiangnan charm is blended into the Hui style, making these buildings extensive and profound, meaningful and timeless.

Lao Wu's steamed cakes are very famous here. Steamed cakes and Qingtuan. I think steamed cakes are more delicious. People who have eaten them will praise them. It is a good taste brought by traditional craftsmanship.

Gaochun Old Street is famous for its classical architecture. The shops in the street are generally building-style double-layer brick-and-wood structures, with complete eaves, arch, buttress walls, horizontal extensions, and carved windows. The shape is unique, simple and gorgeous.

The night market economy in Old Street is also very lively. Even as night falls, there are still bustling crowds shuttling through the streets to start their own nightlife.

Yaxi Slow City really makes people feel deep into the forest anytime and anywhere. This feeling is so good. I am no longer satisfied with fleeing the city and coming to the countryside. Only when I go deep into the forest can I truly feel freedom and relaxation.

Snail Yaxi Slow City is a unique symbol. In 2010, it was awarded China's first "International Slow City" title by the International Slow City Organization. It is also the longest self-driving tourist attraction in Nanjing, where you can slowly go sightseeing, leisure, entertainment and vacation.

Shili Ancient Boat Board Confucian Integrity Culture Roadway

The plank road is located in the Lingshang Scenic Area of Youzishan National Forest Park in Gaochun District. It has a total length of more than ten miles. It is paved with more than 10,000 pieces of old ship boards that have been abandoned and treated for corrosion protection, which means corrosion protection. About 3 tons of ship anchors stand at each end of the plank road.

Chunqing Tea Garden produces some Biluochun, Yuhua tea, etc., and is also the location where "In the Name of the People" is filmed. What is more worth mentioning is that it has also won the title of the most beautiful tea garden in China.
