Nanjing is the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties.
At the end of September, my girlfriend and I went to Nanjing. Time is tight, but full.
After ten o'clock in the morning, I got off the high-speed train, changed directly to the subway at the high-speed train station, and went straight to the hotel I had booked long ago. The hotel I booked is located in the scenic area of Confucius Temple. The biggest advantage of this is that it is convenient to eat and drink. You can walk directly to the Qinhuai River and you can reach various attractions within a few steps. The must-try Nanjing food stall when you come to Nanjing is next door, next door, next door.
It is said that this is a must-visit gourmet restaurant when visiting Nanjing. I personally have high requirements for meat. All meat must be tasted carefully, and anything with a fishy smell will basically taste it.
Lunch: Salted duck, braised pork with glutinous rice, Tianwang roast duck bun, red bean dumpling, old brand Yangchun noodles.
The salted duck has no fishy smell, soft taste, and tender meat, but to be honest, it does not have a particularly prominent feeling and lacks the amazing meaning. There are a lot of glutinous rice with meat, but as for meat, well, it's okay. As the Internet says, the Tianwang Roast Duck Bag does have a slight fishy smell, but this one is just those who like to eat this taste like it, and those who don't like it don't like it. As for the red bean Lantern Festival and Yangchun Noodles, they are average and suitable for most people.
After dinner, you turn around the corner and you will reach the hotel. This is the advantage of staying in Confucius Temple.
We woke up at noon and started our tour in the afternoon.
The Confucius Temple Scenic Area is the first choice. In the afternoon, Confucius Temple, then turn around the streets and alleys, and at night, Qinhuai River. This is our plan for today. We wanted to go to the Imperial Examination Museum, but we didn't feel there was enough time (mainly because we got up too early in the morning and slept a little more at noon).
As for the Confucius Temple, I prefer to visit this kind of place. Maybe it is because I prefer some things with ancient charm. I have been to the Confucius Mansion and the Meng Temple. The Confucius Temple is located on the bank of the Qinhuai River. As the name suggests, Confucius is enshrined in Qufu Confucian Temple, but the style is slightly different. The Confucius Temple in Qufu is slightly simple and heavy, while the Confucius Temple in Nanjing is slightly more atmospheric and noble. Coincidentally, I caught up with the activities of the Confucius Temple. A specially paved red carpet, hung lanterns, and decorated it. The elegance came to my face, solemnity was indispensable and atmosphere. When you are in the temple, you seem to be listening to the teachings of the ancients all the time.
When the Confucius Temple came out, it was already evening. The sun had not set, but the sun was just right. Take a photo along the Qinhuai River, and the dreamy light shines on the world, scattered in detail, making you intoxicated.
There is an Internet celebrity photo shop on the riverside. If you have not been to it, you can try it out. It is quite interesting to use it to take photos. I won't introduce this much.
After searching for various delicious foods, I chose a string that I had always wanted to try but had never tried. Don't forget to string incense and coordinate with the Water Cube. The skewers taste excellent, and the special brain flowers are also good, but they are too spicy. Of course, if you taste them carefully, they will have a little fishy smell. This is inevitable, but most people will not taste them so carefully. I may be in Class Two or Class Three. What I recommend most here is his wine juice. First, it is fresh and it is all freshly made. Second, I don't like to drink, but this wine has a fragrant smell, similar to the feeling of fruit wine. It is said to be wine, in fact, it is just a drink. The third degree is not high and can be ignored. Fourth, it is cheap. The outside milk tea costs 20 yuan. This cup is 10 yuan each, but it is still a large cup. As for the shortcomings of this store, the location is difficult to find. In a small corner on the basement B2 floor, we traveled all over the entire floor to find it. The second is that there are too many people. If we go on weekends or prime time, there is a great possibility of queuing.
After dinner, I strolled all the way back to the Qinhuai River. I leaned on the bridge and looked at the brightly lit and colorful banks of the river. I couldn't help but think of Du Mu's words about smoking cages with cold water and sand, and parking near Qinhuai Restaurant at night. There were a lot of emotions.
Our destination the next day was Zhongshan Scenic Area. If your trip only lasts about 2 days, Zhongshan Scenic Area must be your best choice.
After getting up early to wash up, I strolled to have breakfast, but discovered an unexpected situation. The shop here opened too late, and there were very few breakfast sellers recently. I entered a porridge shop and paid 10 yuan a serving of millet porridge. I came from a poor family, so I bid farewell. So after going around, we chose KFC on the street opposite the Imperial Examination Museum. I ordered 4 breakfast for a few yuan.
To go to Zhongshan Scenic Area, if you have enough time and are close to the subway station, then the subway is your best choice (the taxi master is kind enough to not take us even when we get on the bus, and told us that the most convenient and quick way is the subway). In addition, to go to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, you need to make an online reservation in advance, make an appointment in advance, and use your ID card. So you need to make an appointment the first day or a few days before you can enter Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.
The whole scenic area is very big, and I can't stand it all the way. Anyway, I can choose to take a tour bus between two scenic spots at 10 yuan per person per time. The recommended order of visit is Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum-Music Platform-Linggu Temple-Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum-Meiling Palace. You can take a tour bus directly from the ticket office at the entrance to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The journey from Linggu Temple to Mingxiao is too long and it is a duplicate journey. It is recommended to take a tourist bus. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall seemed to be closed for the weekend, so it was a pity that it did not go.
Below is the most beautiful 600 meters in the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. I almost missed it. After watching the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, you can walk from the most beautiful 600 meters and go directly to the Meiling Palace.
In other words, I couldn't walk after coming out of Meiling Palace, so I took a taxi directly from the entrance of Meiling Palace to the subway station. This is the advantage of this tour sequence. The journey, rest, and photos have all been calculated.
After returning to the hotel from the subway, my legs were not particularly tired, but my feet couldn't stand it. I hadn't walked such a long way in a long time, and my feet couldn't get used to it. I wanted to go out and eat some delicious food, but I gave it up after thinking about it. In the end, I went to Nanjing food stalls. After all, there were still many dishes that I had not eaten nearby. Go out from 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon. Basically walking all the time. People with good physical strength and regular exercise can ignore it and continue to wave.
Because it was last year, I can't remember much. There were only three on the night I left a deep impression. One Wangfu pickled pepper chicken, sweet and sour, delicious. My daughter-in-law still thought about it after she came back. The other is Meiling porridge, which feels like drinking soy milk and Weiwei soy milk. The last one is the ancient sugar taro seedlings. It's not bad and my daughter-in-law likes to drink it.
My feet hurt too much, so I stayed in the hotel at night to rest and have a good sleep.
On the third day, the original plan for the morning was to go to the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. However, before I came, I learned that the memorial hall was closed on Monday, but the itinerary had been set, which was a bit regrettable. So after a thorough sleep in the hotel on the last night, we started our final journey, Zhanyuan.
I have always liked Zhanyuan, a garden with ancient charm and a strong Jiangnan water town style. I may prefer the kind of life where you are leisurely, leisurely, with birds singing and fragrant flowers. This kind of Zhanyuan satisfies my yearning to the greatest extent.

PS: 1. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum requires an online reservation in advance (free). 2. Put a sanitary napkin on the soles of your feet before going out to play, which can greatly reduce foot fatigue. 3. Food in Zhongshan Scenic Area is relatively expensive, so it is recommended to bring your own bread and the like. 4. The coach in the scenic area costs 10 yuan per person per trip. You don't have to buy a full set. You can just pay for it every time you want to ride. There is no discount. 5. The Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall was closed on Monday. 6. Nanjing Metro uses mobile phone to pay and just scan the code.
