Maple leaves in autumn on Qixia Mountain, Nanjing. Get off at Nanjing South on the high-speed railway, take Metro Line 3 (3 yuan) to get off at Confucius Temple, and walk 10 minutes to the "Night Parking Qinhuai Junting Hotel·Grand Theater" Hotel. The lobby is not big and the layout has a Republic of China atmosphere. The front desk is very enthusiastic. I booked a luxury room. The room is very spacious and has good facilities. There is a coffee machine, free drinks (five cans of brand drinks), two bottles of mineral water (you can ask for it from the service desk), fruits (orange, pear, banana, apple each), brand body wash. I took a short rest at the hotel. I went out to the Confucius Temple Scenic Area. After a stroll, I went to a well-regarded restaurant with the flavor of the Republic of China for dinner. I had dinner. The Qinhuai River was colorful and there were too many people. I went back to the hotel, rested, and slept until I woke up naturally the next day. I walked out of the hotel a few steps to the time-honored brands to have breakfast, including Xiao Long Bao, Yuan Du, and Lao Duck vermicelli soup.(Nanjing is full of old duck vermicelli soup), take a taxi to Qixia Mountain (82 yuan, a bit congested), buy a ticket to enter the scenic area (40 yuan), take a battery car (20 yuan to the top of the mountain), and then walk down the mountain to view the scenery.
It has a very beautiful view. I left the scenic spot three hours later. I took a taxi (taxis in the scenic spot were a bit messy, and there were bargains and refused to pick up) and returned to the Confucius Temple for 92 yuan. I went to the hotel to rest. I checked out (the check-out time was 2 p.m., which was very good). I went to the "big stall" for lunch. The taste was very good. I bought a salty duck and took it back (it tasted good). Subway No. 3 went to Nanjing South Railway Station and took the high-speed train back to Shanghai. Since this trip was a rest day, there were many people in the scenic spot. A local friend introduced that if we go earlier in the morning on non-rest days, there are very few people, and we can enjoy the mountains and forests. However, it will only be about a week since the maple leaves will be red. If we want to see again, it will be next year.
