Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu. To be honest, as a native of northern Jiangsu living in Shanghai, my impression of Nanjing is really indifferent. This is a travel note in my memory that doesn't provide much help to tourists but is a very pleasant memory for myself.
Driving tours in Nanjing with colleagues during the May Day holiday in 2019 arose from chatting in the office two days before the holiday. Coincidentally, a colleague who had been working in the Nanjing branch for six years took the initiative to take up the positions of tour guide and driver. Thanks!
The group of five set off at around 10 o'clock on May Day and arrived in Nanjing, which was almost two o'clock. The first stop is Xuanwu Lake Park, which is also one of the check-in points in Nanjing. To sum up, it is a big park. The important thing is not the scenery but the feeling of releasing the cage and freedom.
I went to the Internet celebrity restaurant in the evening (Hulan People)
The second stop was Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum adopts an online appointment system. You can submit the date and ID card information on its official website. Because some colleagues were uncomfortable, the three teams that set off first made the Nanjing subway card with blue buttons and a very unique shape. (If you want routes, you can just navigate directly according to your own situation. Nanjing's transportation is also developed.) I went to the Confucius Temple in the evening. Wow, it was really a paradise for food. It was very lively and casual. There were no routes. (You need to go to the Confucius Temple cruise ship at 7 p.m. to buy tickets before you can play)
The third stop is the Presidential Palace. The streets of Nanjing are full of sycamore trees. The sycamore trees in the Presidential Palace are thick and dense. Wearing a mask in spring and summer can really choke your throat.
In fact, this three-day trip was not about seeing the beautiful scenery or experiencing the customs of the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, but about meeting a group of enterprising and lovely people. When my colleague's friends learned about our travel plans, they arranged to welcome us that night after we visited Xuanwu Lake. We were considerate and courteous when we first met. During the browsing of the Presidential Palace, not only introduced the attractions, but also invited guests to dinner, etc. A friend even made it early in the morning so that we could take away his restaurant's signature desserts.
Lovely person, sincere person. Colleagues said that they were all golfers and friends who met in the same industry and never talked about interests and only got along easily.
On September 11, 2020, when I started mourning in the early morning, I felt extremely lonely and seemed to have no real confidants and friends, but also seemed unreasonable and unable to describe it. Looking through old photos and memories of a very lovely group of people. The same may be true for Nanjing.
