Every autumn, the Stone Elephant Road in Nanjing's Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum must be a sight full of tourists, and this year is no exception. I went to Shixiang Road with my friends the day before yesterday. This was the first time I visited Shixiang Road this year. I found that the scenery along the way had changed a lot. Many decorations and signs were newly made. One of the signs said "Innovative city, beautiful ancient capital", yes, this is Nanjing.

Generally, Shixiang Road is entered from Gate 3 of Ming Xiaoling. It is only three or four minutes away from the Lucerne Garden Subway Station. As usual, tickets are directly checked into the scenic spot. This time, it is different. I didn't expect that the forest at the entrance of the scenic spot is so beautiful. The color of the metasequoia trees in autumn is very rich. Looking around, it looks like a beautiful ink painting.

There are many places in Nanjing to admire Metasequoia forests. The more famous one is Zhimaling National Forest Park, but it is relatively remote, and this Metasequoia forest at Gate 3 of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is much closer.

This Metasequoia forest is close to Meihua Mountain in the Ming Dynasty. After the beautiful scenery of the Metasequoia forest in autumn, the plum blossoms in winter and spring are also particularly beautiful.

Now is the best season to visit Shixiang Road. Shixiang Road is known as "the most beautiful 600 meters in Nanjing". There are many tourists here on weekends and on weekdays. Most tourists who come here will stop at the entrance of the scenic spot for a long time, just because the colorful metasequoia forest in front of them can be seen when entering the scenic spot, but it is not as spectacular as it is at the entrance of the scenic spot, especially through the pool.

When I first arrived here, I was also curious why so many people gathered on the shore? And almost all of them were holding cameras or mobile phones and looking in the direction of the camera, and were immediately amazed by the scenery in front of them. Although this Metasequoia forest is not too large, it is exceptionally tall and straight. It is in the middle of autumn. In the season, the leaves are very rich in color, green, yellow, red... the sense of hierarchy is also very rich.

Autumn is indeed the most beautiful season of the year. Everything in the world seems to have color, which makes people happy and exciting. Many people have once described the autumn colors they see in front of them as if God has knocked over the color palette and scattered it on the world.

This small piece of metasequoia forest alone made me stop for nearly half an hour. No matter how I photographed it, I always felt less beautiful than what I saw with my eyes. The beauty was transparent and agile, especially the reflection of the metasequoia forest on the water. The scenery on the water dyed the entire pool with color.

This year's Ming Xiao Mausoleum feels more popular than in previous years. Perhaps it is because of the autumn colors here. It is a very beautiful place, but there have always been people who said it was the location of the "tomb" and taboo it, which is really inappropriate.
