However, this year, the results released by the National Climate Center of the National Meteorological Administration show that the new four major stoves are Chongqing, Fuzhou, Hangzhou and Nanchang. It can be imagined that the weather in Hangzhou is extremely hot, and I always want to find a place to play in the water to cool off and escape the heat.

I wanted to go to West Lake, but everyone was everywhere, so I chose Ningbo, which is more than 100 kilometers away from Hangzhou. The city of Ningbo is closely related to water. It is the birthplace of "Hemudu Culture" with a history of more than 7000 years. In the Tang Dynasty, Ningbo became one of the starting points of the "Maritime Silk Road" and was known as China's three major foreign trade ports, along with Yangzhou and Guangzhou. During the Song Dynasty, it was listed as the three major ports for foreign trade, along with Guangzhou and Quanzhou. After the Opium War, it was designated as one of the "five major trading ports".

The most noteworthy thing in Ningbo is Dongqian Lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in Zhejiang and is also known as Ningbo's back garden. It is three times larger than Hangzhou's West Lake. On the south bank of Dongqian Lake around the lake, there is a water park called Dongqian Lake Water Park (also known as Shuixiu Flower Township Theme Park). Every year after the park opens, countless trendy men and women flock here and take the initiative to get wet without stopping it!

The biggest highlight of Dongqian Lake Water Park is the dynamic park with "water as the core". [Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carvings]

Speaking of the Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carving Park, it is both unfamiliar and familiar to me. Ningbo was the first stop to participate in a free tour a few years ago. At that time, I was still purely playful when traveling. When I came to Ningbo a few days ago, I couldn't remember the places I had been to at all. It wasn't until I walked into the Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carving Park that I suddenly remembered that I had been to this place.

The Stone Carving Park of the Southern Song Dynasty is located at the foot of Huangmei Mountain in Shangshuixia Village on the east bank of Dongqian Lake, known as "the spirit of Taihu Lake and the charm of Xizi." Dongqian Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in Zhejiang Province, four times larger than the West Lake in Hangzhou.

In the history of stone carvings in my country, it is described as follows: "In the north are the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Mausoleum, and in the south are the Qianhu stone carvings." There was little information on Shinto stone carvings during the Southern Song Dynasty, but the scale, quantity, precision, concentration, and perfect preservation of the Southern Song stone carvings of Dongqian Lake are the only ones in China.

When you enter the Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carving Park, the first thing you visit is the Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carving Museum. It mainly introduces the history of the Southern Song Dynasty and the development of stone carvings art, and displays many stone people and stone beasts.

Walking into the courtyard of the museum, I saw five huge figures, named civil minister, general, squatting tiger, horse horse, and kneeling sheep. It represents "loyalty, courage, integrity, righteousness and filial piety", which quite clearly reproduces the historical and cultural landscape of that time.

After coming out of the museum, walk along the right hand side, which is the way to pay homage. The road to pay homage is more than 130 meters long and consists of a trail connecting three terraces, a Southern Song Dynasty stone carving square and a memorial altar. Almost all the precious Southern Song Dynasty stone carvings in the park are displayed.

Pass through an old archway in Qing Dynasty style, which is the first terrace. Ten steps up is the way to pay homage, and Song Dynasty stone tigers stand on both sides. In the middle section of the road to pay homage, which is the second terrace, it is surrounded on all sides by a restored Ming-style archway, remnant pillars and broken walls. There are several inscriptions and many ancient stone embossed decorated with simple inscriptions on the remnant wall.

At the end of the way to pay homage is an old archway in the Song Dynasty. The third terrace behind the archway is the largest of the three terraces. There is a Southern Song Dynasty stone carving square built on the terrace. On both sides of the square are two rows of old observation pillar bases with "foundations but no columns". The square uses the bucket-shaped slopes naturally formed by the terraces to form a display platform for five Southern Song Dynasty stone carvings, with a total of more than 70 Southern Song Dynasty tomb officials and warriors stone statues.

Due to the opening hours of the scenic area, we could not complete it all. Nowadays, the park has many scenic spots such as showrooms, ways to pay homage, hundreds of generations of teachers, ways to auspicious, historical vicissitudes, Southern Song Dynasty costumes, Shijian tombs, and Lu Mo Qi. There are more than 200 stone carvings in the entire park. The workmanship is quite fine and the shape is very realistic.

China's stone carvings are basically concentrated in Buddhist grottoes and royal cemeteries, with the exception of the Southern Song Dynasty. The Southern Song Dynasty emperors in Jiangnan in Pian 'an dreamed of resting in peace in the Song Emperor's Mausoleum in Gongxian County, Henan Province. Therefore, the Southern Song Dynasty royal families lived hastily behind them, leaving no grand cemetery stone carvings that represented the style of this era. Dongqian Lake and its surrounding areas were the cemeteries of the four most important prime ministers in the Southern Song Dynasty. The political careers of Shi Hao, Shi Miyuan, Zheng Qingzhi, and Shi Songzhi almost covered the five most important times in the history of the Southern Song Dynasty: Gao, Xiao, Guang, Ning, and Li. Their tomb stone carvings filled the research gaps in the history of art, cultural relics, archeology, and carving art during the Southern Song Dynasty.

Is it as famous as "the Eighth Wonder of the World, Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors"? You can imagine the status of Stone Carving Park in the Southern Song Dynasty.

[Shangshui Tent Camp]

With the improvement of people's living standards, hotels are no longer able to meet everyone's travel needs. What followed were various tent camps, RV bases, and camping bases.

In Ningbo, there is a place four times larger than Hangzhou's West Lake. It is called Dongqian Lake. Several of our friends were still discussing that this was a good place to take portraits, but unfortunately there were no models. I can only take pictures of the scenery.

Ticket sales are also arranged at the entrance of the dock. The ticket office marked the relevant prices, including small wooden boats, small painted boats, large painted boats, small speedboats, and large speedboats.

At that time, we chose the Xiaoputuo Scenic Area to go to by speedboat. In the scorching summer, as the speedboat moved forward rapidly, the wind blew, and the hairstyles flowed with the wind.

Xiaoputuo, also known as "Xiayu", is located in the center of Dongqian Lake.

Most people who come to Dongqian Lake must come here. The speedboat arrived at Xiaoputuo Scenic Area in less than ten minutes.

The entrance to the scenic spot is near Taogong Village, and the dock is next to the water Guanyin.

Coming out of the dock, you will arrive at Xiayu, the core area of Xiaoputuo Scenic Area. On the left after entering the scenic area is the Water Guanyin, which is also the iconic landscape here. The incense is very strong, and many tourists take photos here.

Continue walking forward and you will find Xiayu Zen Temple on the right. Xiayu Zen Temple was built in the Song Dynasty. Although the temple we see now was later rebuilt, the buildings and carvings inside are quite exquisite and are very worth visiting.

The most famous temple is the "Butuo Cave". It was built by Shi Hao, the builder of the Song Dynasty temple, modeled after Chaoyin Cave on Putuo Mountain to comfort his blind mother who could not go to Putuo to worship Buddha. Today, there are some stone carvings and some small Buddha statues inside.

In addition, there is a stone building "Western Boat" in the temple, which is especially suitable for taking photos here. If you have time to board the boat, you can have a panoramic view of Dongqian Lake and it is so beautiful.

Walking out of Xiayu Zen Temple and continuing forward, you will cross a bridge. The scenery on the bridge is very beautiful, but unfortunately the weather was bad at the time. Due to the very hot weather at that time, he did not choose to continue, but returned the same way to the vicinity of Guanyin on Water.

We chose to return to the vicinity of Taogong Village on the embankment. This road is called the long embankment of Taogong Dike. It spans the lake and has a total length of 2 kilometers. The scenery along the road is beautiful.

There are Yuebolou Square, children's amusement park, animal sculptures, Songdao and other places along the way. You can choose to visit on foot, or you can also choose to visit by sightseeing buses or bicycles.

After coming out of the scenic area, we chose to return to the hotel at the nearby pier.
