Where to go for a National Day trip?

This question has been lingering in my mind since early September. After checking various travel strategies and scores, and combining it with concerns about travel congestion, I finally chose Pinghu, Jiaxing, a city with a mellow red historical and cultural heritage. It is less than an hour's drive away from Shanghai.

In addition to pleasuring the body and mind, this trip also has another purpose, which is to enjoy the parent-child time with her husband and daughter, and take advantage of the holidays to spend time with her family.

When we first arrived in Pinghu, we were attracted by the two major rivers and lakes of the "Golden Pinghu", Caodui Port and East Lake, and the urban environment surrounded by green shades. The pavilions along the river, pagodas and landscape greenways complement each other, forming a beautiful scenery. The East Lake here is famous for its eight scenic spots and has been built into a national-level 4A scenic spot. Another 18 kilometers drive will be another 4A scenic spot-Jiulong Mountain Tourist Resort. We have heard about it for a long time, and we went there the day we arrived in Pinghu. Find out. After passing through a winding mountain road, we parked along the way to take a look at the entire city landscape, and suddenly felt suddenly enlightened. After entering the scenic area, we couldn't help but our daughter's repeated requests. We experienced the excitement of a crazy go-kart track. In addition to riding and shooting at the racecourse, we also went to the seaside of Dushan Port to get the evening breeze. When it was almost night fell, we were hungry. We returned to the hotel.

My husband is very picky about hotel choices. The cleanliness and cleanliness of the rooms are the first priority. Secondly, the richness of food in the supporting restaurants. The hotel's service facilities are brand new, and the lobby design is graceful and elegant. Especially the feather-shaped decoration of the "One-Leaf Boat" in the middle is light and exquisite. It echoes the crystal falling ceiling lights and constitutes the hotel's unique online celebrity check-in point. Listen to the hotel's on-duty manager introduced that his design inspiration was taken from the "Tower Shadow Falling Rainbow", one of the eight scenic spots of East Lake. After a day of play, we dragged our tired body and soul straight to the Yue Coffee All-Day Western Restaurant located on the fifth floor of the hotel. My husband and I have long been curious about their buffet, because the online reputation is very amazing. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I could see the waiter and manager at the entrance of the restaurant smiling politely, and the impression on me instantly doubled. Fortunately, I checked the guide and booked the restaurant a week in advance. It is close to the bright floor-to-ceiling windows, facing the beautiful scenery of Ming Lake, and you can also see the sunset and sunset.

The buffet variety is dazzling, starting with cold food,

Seafood sashimi sometimes makes swimming crabs, cooked South American shrimp, small squid and scallop green mouth fresh and refreshing;

Sushi warships, salads and appetizers not only look bright and beautiful, but also have a unique taste;

Followed by hot dishes and small hot pot:

Hot dishes such as Italian thin-skinned pizza, European pasta and baked vegetables, Southeast Asian citronella roast chicken, plus various grilled kebabs, oysters, seasonal vegetables, beef and sheep steak, etc., plus Pinghu specialties such as duck with soy sauce with old base, sweet and sour oil rolls, etc. With the intention of giving it a try, I tried the local shredded radish cakes fried on-site at their house. The taste was delicious and recommended to check in. The small hot pot focuses on seafood, which is directly caught and fished in the restaurant's seafood pool. While satisfying the taste, it also adds freshness. My daughter went to study curiously for a long time and caught a lot of seafood for my husband and I, which was full of food.

Finally, I have to mention their family's specialty desserts, such as floating clouds rolls, lightning puffs, thousand-layer fruits, melon cake, coconut pineapple, pictographic mousse, etc., as well as the on-site baked volcanic bread pudding, which has a rich and layered taste. It is quite tired.

We ate after 18 o'clock, but we ate until 20 o'clock.

When I returned to my room, it was already 20:30.

I was really tired physically and mentally, but I was moved by the exquisite layout of the room.

We booked a hotel-themed parent-child room. There are 3 room types online, and we chose the ocean theme. The room facilities are very new and the layout is stylish. The moment you walk into the room, you are in the ocean world in vain. The daughter was overjoyed. She took a camera and photographed all the toys, murals, and lighting in the room. What was even more surprising was that the room was actually equipped with customized products such as children's toiletries, children's slippers, children's bathrobes and hangers. Children's fun is vivid and cute! There is an ocean ball pool in the room. My daughter played in it for a long time. Before going to bed, she couldn't put down the dolphin.

This actually aroused my husband and I'm curious. We will also take our children to experience the other two themed parent-child rooms next vacation.

Breakfast the next day is also served at the Yue Coffee All-Day Restaurant, which is also in full self-service mode. After breakfast, we went to Wuyue Square behind the hotel to go shopping. When we went shopping in the mall, we saw many parent-child handicraft experience classes and children's indoor amusement parks. So we couldn't help our daughter's coquettishness. My husband and I took her to the children's amusement park. Play all morning and returned to the hotel at noon.

After returning to the hotel, we specifically asked the concierge about the restaurant recommended for lunch. The concierge answered Lan·Chinese Restaurant almost without hesitation, and also specifically reminded us that there was a half-price discount for lunch. I have to say here that the concierge of every hotel is always the warmest guide.

It was 12 o'clock when I arrived at the Chinese restaurant, which happened to be the peak dining period. There were many customers in the restaurant and the atmosphere was quite lively.

Three people ate about 300 lunch snacks we ordered, but only more than 100 after half discount. Moreover, each dish was impeccable in terms of its exquisiteness and taste. There are a few must-order dishes recommended here: jasmine smoked fish, crab powder and matsutake fish bead soup, crystal clear bamboo shoots shrimp dumplings, black gold quicksand buns, red rice noodles and caramel Longjing stewed milk. In addition, their family's newly promoted Maogou thread powder and Pinghu rotten eggs must come and taste them as outsiders. They taste delicious and have lingering fragrance. All in all, it's quite a good deal.

On the third day of our vacation in Pinghu, my husband ended the vacation early because of work. Before leaving, we still seized the holiday and went to the hotel's Chi-Seafood Steakhouse to taste an imported sour Australian Tomahawk. The environment and atmosphere of the restaurant were quite different from the previous two restaurants, but they were more romantic and elegant. Compared with Western restaurants in Shanghai, the steaks and oysters here are also delicious. After playing in Pinghu for several days, I couldn't find a high-end Western food that can match it.

Although this trip was hastily concluded, it did not affect my family and I. On the contrary, I am more regretful and hope that I can stay here longer next time and experience different scenery and food.
