On the last day of living in Chongming Island, I planned to go to Dongtan Wetland Park. In the early morning, the sky kept raining. I prayed that the rain would stop. After breakfast, the rain stopped. Thank God! I can go to Dongtan Wetland Park. This park is located at the easternmost end of Chongming Island, at the mouth of the Yangtze River. It is similar to a country park and is characterized by high-quality natural resources and various bird observation. Unfortunately, I didn't see many birds during the tour. It wasn't on the weekend, so there weren't many people. It was suitable for walking slowly, looking slowly, and breathing fresh air.

At the entrance of the park is a two-story triangular steel frame structure building. The overall style is simple and modern. It has a wetland science popularization exhibition hall inside. It is the center of the entire park's comprehensive intelligent management service system. The wetland park is very large. There are bicycles to ride, electric bicycles and electric boats to ride, and you can also walk. You can choose according to your needs.

After entering the park, we chose to walk along the plank road to Guanhai Tower, the farthest end of the wetland. It was about 3.5 kilometers, and then we took a sightseeing bus back to the exit. It would be very tiring if I walked the entire time! Walk slowly, look slowly, and breathe fresh air.

Not far from the entrance, there is a large area of verbena, and the small purple flowers look particularly romantic in the open fields. Listening to the whispers of the flowers and feeling the breeze, this moment is so comfortable.

Passing through a fir forest, we come to the quiet inner river of Dongtan Wetland Park. There are few tourists in the entire wetland and the air is very fresh.

Arriving at the quiet Neihe River, the waterbirds feeding on the river were scared away.

Lotus flowers are planted all over the river. Water lilies of different shapes and colors are colorful. The breeze blows, and the flowers seem to nod, smile and pay tribute to the tourists. Make the air slightly intoxicated, and unknowingly, your heart becomes intoxicated.

Seeing that the river was full of lush and oily wild water chestnuts, I grabbed a wild water chestnuts tree casually, and a water chestnuts grew under the water chestnuts. When picking water chestnuts, you must first lift the water chestnuts out of the water surface, so that you can see at a glance how many recoverable water chestnuts there are on the water chestnuts.

Wild water chestnuts have tenacious vitality and do not have high requirements for the breeding environment. They grow naturally in rivers and can be seen everywhere. Wild water Ling has the effects of nourishing the spleen and strengthening the stomach, promoting saliva to quench thirst, detoxifying and swelling. Taste the fresh wild water chestnut and feel particularly sweet, refreshing and tender.

Fangcao is located in the southeast of the park as a single-story wood-roofed building. There is a comfortable teahouse under the south eaves, offering casual coffee and refreshments. There are also fishing and barbecue projects. There is a promenade in the north leading to the boating dock and the Manila lawn in the south. It is a small place for children to play and adults to relax.

Endless reeds are covered with beaches, and walking on the wooden plank road is a kind of enjoyment to be close to nature.

Dongtan Wetland is the only remaining high-quality natural resource in Shanghai, covering an area of 326 square kilometers. It is also an important habitat for migratory waterbirds. In 2002, it was officially included in the list of internationally important wetlands.

In summer, the sun is too strong and there is no shade. Too hot and sun affects your mood. It is recommended to choose autumn to watch birds.

When I arrived at Guanhai Tower, I saw it was a restaurant. The building was three-story high. It was impossible to see the sea from this place. There were a small number of lotus flowers, sheeppens and black swan breeding bases on the side.

Guanhai Tower is a three-story wooden structure with a grass-topped building. The outer platform is a natural roof garden planted with flowers and trees. Adjacent to the park's central lake in the west and overlooking the East China Sea in the east, it is one of the most important architectural landscapes and viewing points in the park.

Standing at the Haishanlou and looking into the distance, you can't see the sea at all. It can be seen that the Dongtan Wetland is actually very large.

Because the seasons are wrong, there are very few waterbirds, and only a few egrets are seen. Since wetland protection is to have a pristine ecological state, there are very few artificial landscapes here.

Dongtan Wetland Park can be played all year round. When the weather is hot, you can see flowers and grasslands, and when it is too cold, there are groups of migratory birds to watch. Maybe there will be many photographers here to shoot birds during the migratory season. Of course, they will come early and wait for them. For ordinary tourists, there is no fun except to look at the reeds.
