Today's riding direction is Fengxian. The Puxi Ferry goes to the Chenxing Road Ferry in Pudong. Ride from Chenxing Highway to Pujin Road and turn right. Cycling along Pujin Road is definitely a pleasure for this warm spring season. Here, we will focus on Pujin (South) Road, the three-lane road, the bicycle path in the green isolation zone, the good forests on both sides, the evergreen camphor trees, the deciduous ginkgo and Chinese tallow trees, as well as magnolia trees, cedar trees, sweet-scented osmanthus trees, Huangshan trees, fir trees, albizzia, etc. This place is already full of original wild scenery. Coupled with the Pujiang Country Park on the west and the Changshou Zen Temple on the east, it provides citizens with unique leisure spaces such as green travel and Zen retreat.

Changshou Temple was once one of the eight famous temples in Minhang District (Shanghai County).

The thousand-year-old temple has gone through many vicissitudes. Now the east of Duxing Old Street in Pujiang Town has been rebuilt at a location. It has experienced brilliance and vicissitudes, which is very spectacular.

Fengxian Museum has three museums. One is a permanent exhibition hall, which mainly focuses on collecting, displaying and studying Fengxian's history and culture
。The second is temporary exhibitions that are replaced regularly, such as the opening of the "Yongzheng Palace Museum Cultural Relics Exhibition". The third is Fengxian District opposite the museum

There are not many cultural relics displayed here, but various auxiliary display methods such as sound and light images are cleverly used to allow visitors to understand Fengxian and its history from the past to the present from multiple angles.

There are Fengxian Historical Exhibition Hall and Haitang Cultural Hall in the museum, both of which are very interesting and historical and intellectual.

Fengxian has developed really well in the past two years, and Shanghai's fish is a concentrated reflection. It is still under development and has not been completely built. The area is quite large, with complete walking paths and cycling paths.

In addition to park green spaces, Shanghai Fish gathers cultural facilities such as Fengxian Museum, Fengxian Planning Exhibition Hall, Youth Art Park, Bubble Park, Sculpture Park, etc., and is a good place for leisure and education.

Guhua Park was designed by the famous architect Professor Chen Congzhou integrating the essence of Jiangnan gardens. The construction has collected many allusions from Fengxian's history. The relocation and reconstruction of a large number of historical architectural relics such as the "Nantang First Bridge","Wanqing Garden" and "Silicized Wood" have enabled Guhua Park to show a simple and elegant historical and cultural style.

The antique from the first year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty has a history of 300 years. The bridge was originally located on the south side of Lianfeng Temple in Nanqiangtang. When the park was built in 1983, it was relocated to Guhua Garden.

Shuangting Bridge is also known as Tongxin Bridge. Looking from a distance, you can see two pavilions on the bridge.

There is a lotus pond in the park, pavilions, ponds, rocks, and corridors connected. A Tingchun Pavilion is built next to the water. The roof of the pavilion is beautifully carved, and many bonsais are distributed in the park.

There are more than 300 white ash trees in parallel calendars, growing together with a pomegranate tree. People call them the husband and wife tree. The lower part of the two trees is connected in a lingering way, and the upper part blooms respectively, just like a human connection, which is amazing.

Grand stage

The most valuable thing in the park is a silicified wood collected from the mountains of Bali, Indonesia. It was a tree that grew in the Jurassic period hundreds of millions of years ago. It was buried deep underground and became a fossil due to an earth earthquake or the Big Bang. The wooden trunk is divided into 12 sections. I don't know whether it was broken during transportation or excavation. It is quite difficult to preserve it until now.

Eryan Temple, also known as the "Buddha Pavilion", was built in the Yuan Dynasty and covers an area of 7000 square meters. It has a history of more than 800 years. There was originally a statue of Guanyin with thousands of hands and thousands of eyes carved from a century-old camphor wood in the temple. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. The ancient temple was moved to its current location in 1993 due to municipal construction and merged with Zhangweng Temple in Jianghai Town. The so-called "Eryan Temple" is derived from the 17th saying of the Nirvana Sutra: "Two Sorrows". One is wisdom, and the two are virtue. They are called "Two Jens of Happiness and Wisdom".

The entire temple complex has three floors and is large in scale. The Daxiong Hall is covered with glass and has curved eaves and corners, making it majestic and magnificent; the Jade Buddha Tower houses the Buddha's sacred image and is carved from a whole piece of white jade and weighs two tons. There are also many small Buddhist temples on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Visitors can go up to the 2nd floor and walk around the temple along the promenade to admire this temple with carved beams and painted buildings from all angles. It is winding and winding, and it feels like a unique place.
