[Gouqi Island Shanghai-Suzhou Tour] 4. The original residents still weave webs, and the islands and beaches turn in time and space

2020/10/29
The "Sea Capital" B & B we stayed in was a so-called sea view room facing the sea, but we couldn't see the warm spring flowers blooming in autumn. Outside the window is a spontaneous trading market. There is the sound of cars and the noise of human voices at around three o'clock in the morning. Several large ships are parked on the shore. Fishermen remove fish, shrimp and crabs from the boats and start trading on the spot. Most of them are pulled away by cars, and there are not many sporadic transactions. After the transaction was completed, the fishermen collected their fishing nets.

The open space is covered with green fishing nets. The son of the hotel owner has a fishing boat worth 16 million yuan. It goes fishing on the high seas every day and stops on Jeju Island when encountering storms. It is said that the people of Jeju Island are very enthusiastic about the Chinese.

The Sanjiao River Cross-Sea Bridge in Shengsi County that was opened to traffic on January 6, 2010 was seen last night. From then on, the traffic situation between Shengshan and Gouqi Islands that can only be ferried by ferries will forever become history, and can only be included in the history of the development of Shengshan Town and Gouqi Township.

The Sanjiao River Bridge is located between Shengshan Island, the famous "East China Sea Fishing Ground" in my country, and Gouqi Island, the "Hometown of Mussels". It is a three-tower and two-cable-plane cross-sea cable-stayed bridge connecting the two islands. It took a total of 3 years and 9 months to be completed and opened to traffic. It is the cross-sea bridge with the most investment, the most difficult construction and the longest construction period in the history of transportation construction in Shengsi County. Among them, the main bridge is 685 meters long, the main bridge deck has a total width of 12 meters, and a clear height of 14.2 meters. Because the Sanjiao River Bridge is located in the East China Sea, with high winds and rapid waves, the main projects are constructed at sea. In addition, the hydrological, geological and meteorological conditions in this sea area are complex and are greatly affected by typhoons and monsoons. Ships passing by frequently, making construction extremely difficult. It is listed by Zhejiang Province as one of the five major difficult and key projects in Zhejiang Province.

The Sanjiao River Bridge, which is intertwined with blue, white and yellow, has a very bright color, and the colors are eye-catching enough. Standing on it, the sea breeze is strong, but the scenery is endless. Taking pictures of scenery and portraits has good results. There are rocks under the bridge, and you can still see sea fishermen.

Fishermen are picking seafood in the wholesale trading market.

We had free activities this morning. After breakfast, we walked to Dawang Village. We saw several small beaches along the way. There were almost no people. The facilities were under maintenance and new construction. Not only the beach facilities, but the entire Gouqi Island was under construction. Hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions are expected to become a commercialized island again in two years. In short, I will not come here again.

A beach photographed casually.

There are green fishing nets on both sides of the road I see along the way. Three or five people (mostly women) are knitting all day long. The hats they wear can cover the ears, nose, throat, and head in all directions, revealing only two eyes. I thought those who weave fishing nets are foreigners, because the taxi drivers who took us these two days said that they are not short of money here and make millions every year easily. Those who make money have gone to Hangzhou or Ningbo to buy houses. Currently, there are more than 10,000 permanent residents on Gouqi Island. In two years, they may all move out and become a second uninhabited village. I asked why, but the taxi driver said that education and medical problems had not been solved. There were only sixth grade primary school here, with each grade in one class. There were only a dozen students in each class. Both local and non-local students were in the same class (Hehe, this is like the primary school I studied in the Geological Team, but there were 20 to 30 students in each class). So for the sake of the children, everyone goes abroad to buy houses, and the children also study abroad. After finishing school, they will find employment in the city. Naturally, there will be fewer and fewer people on the island, and it is not impossible to turn into an unmanned village.

As I walked, I chatted with a woman weaving fishing nets on the roadside from time to time. I learned that they were locals and foreigners would not do this job. I thought locals who were not short of money would disdain doing this job, but I didn't expect that I was wrong.

Along the way are people weaving fishing nets.

The sea view room that others live in is much more beautiful than ours. Let's take a picture here.

Walking to Dawang Village, I found that there were not as many shops as I imagined, restaurants were not dotted, and there were not many people. It was probably the peak season.

Tired from walking, I took a bus at Dawang Village Terminal and returned to my residence.

We arrived at the dock again at noon, took the boat at 1:30 pm back to Nanpu Wharf, and took another 2 hours to Shanghai.

After dinner, we toured the Bund by ourselves. Fortunately, Sister Xiaowen, who has been to the Bund three times, led the way, and the journey lasted an hour smoothly. She led us across the Bund and across the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.

The Bund is really crowded with people!

Shanghai Bund: Facing the open mother river, the Huangpu River, it leans against a complex of buildings with rigorous shapes and different styles. It is a Chinese historical and cultural district and the starting point of the old Shanghai Concession Area and the entire modern Shanghai city. There are 52 classical revival buildings with different styles standing on the Bund, including Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and a combination of Chinese and Western styles. It is known as the "World Architecture Expo Group". It is an important historical site and representative building in modern China and a landmark in Shanghai. one.

The main attractions include: Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Lujiazui Financial Center, Bund Urban Sculpture Group, Bund Lovers Wall, Chen Yi Square, Jinmao Building, Waibaidu Bridge, Wanguo Architecture Expo (Asia Building, Dongfeng Hotel, Yili Building, Nissin Building, Great North Telegraph Company Building, China Commercial Bank Building, China Merchants Building, Pudong Development Bank Building), etc.

Walking to a sign, Sister Xiaowen asked us to take a photo of this sign. Have you discovered the mystery of this sign?

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower on the Huangpu River is beautiful in shape. It looks like a sword from a distance and a string of pearls up close. On closer inspection, it looks more like a pagoda.

At night, the Oriental Pearl Tower is dotted with stars, shining brightly, and the light and shadow flow, changing wonderfully.

The ancient buildings on the Bund are full of European flavor and very romantic and charming; the surging river flows in front of the Bund, coming west and east, which always makes people feel beyond words; Pudong on the other side is developing rapidly and is full of new buildings, which is in sharp contrast to the old Bund district, giving people a sense of the vibrant side of Shanghai; The night view of the Bund makes people feel like they are in a fairytale world. The world of lights is bright, colorful and gorgeous, making you wonder if it is night or day... It can be called the most beautiful night view in China!

Arrive at Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street at 7:00 p.m., which is as famous as the Champs Elysees in Paris and Fifth Avenue in New York. It is a must-check-in place for foreign tourists to come to Shanghai.

It is no longer the scene of Haobiao Company on Nanjing Road, but fashionable, atmospheric and modern! It covers time-honored brands in Shanghai, top-notch department stores, and many of the world's first flagship stores. Buildings of various styles are scattered on the thousand-meter pedestrian street. The buildings are row upon row. All shops are brightly lit. The signboards and stores of world brands and China's century-old brands are eye-catching.

Central seats, shopping booths, billboards, sculptures, street lights, waste bins, telephone booths, flower beds of different shapes, and sightseeing buses on the pedestrian street. 10 yuan can take you around, which is especially suitable for the elderly and children... It feels like This is a very humane commercial pedestrian street. The short 1033-meter-long Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street deserves the reputation of "China's First Commercial Street".

The new and old buildings on both sides of the street have been replaced with new decorations. Both old and new brands shine, clean and crisp, with sharp lines. As one of the most famous pedestrian streets in China, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street has now washed away its slightly outdated past and become both retro and modern.

The spacious sidewalk in the middle allows you to stop at will, shop and take photos willfully, and no longer have to travel through vehicles. When you are tired from walking, you can rest on the resting bench under the tree, drink a cup of milk tea, lean your head and flip through the photos you have just taken on your mobile phone. The excitement and satisfaction are beyond words.

Luxury, prosperity and vitality permeate Shanghai, the capital of Shanghai, setting off Gouqi Island more tranquil and peaceful.
