The hotel I stayed in is very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
After getting the accommodation ready, I hurried to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Nanjing Road has become new and more modern. The road surface has been replaced with clean floor tiles, and many modern buildings have emerged on the roadside. Tall and three-dimensional lighting advertisements seem to remind that this is Greater Shanghai and there are not many pedestrians shopping. Finally, I found the old No. 1 Department Store, Shanghai Fashion Store, and Shanghai No. 1 Food Store among the long and beautiful buildings. The buildings I looked up at as a child are now inconspicuous in the new skyscraper cluster.

The Bund is a must-visit place for tourists. The Bund's lights under the night are dazzling, showing the style of an international metropolis.

Shanghai's Shengjian Bao has always been famous, and it is a special snack that I longed for when I was a child. It is also a must-eat food for this plan. "Dahuchun" is an old fried bun shop and intangible cultural heritage in Shanghai, so I specially went to the "Dahuchun" fried bun main store to taste it. The Shengjian buns here have solid meat filling, unlike ordinary Xiaolongbao. The Shengjian buns are made of dough, like a small steamed bun that cannot be eaten in one bite. I didn't expect the price to be very friendly to the people. One serving of fried four pieces is 11 yuan, curry beef vermicelli soup is 11 yuan, and chopped green onion fish round soup is 10 yuan. The two of them only spent 51 yuan together.

Tianzifang is an old-fashioned alley in Shanghai. The old Shikumen building has been transformed into a 3A-level tourist attraction. I don't know if it was because the tourism market had not recovered yet, but there were very few people when we went, and there were almost no tourists. Most of the shops were closed.

Wukang Building on Huaihai Middle Road is Shanghai's first verand-style apartment building. It was built in 1924 and has now become a new tourist check-in place in Shanghai. There is an endless stream of people coming here to take photos.

At noon, I came to Guangming Estate Restaurant, a time-honored and famous store on Huaihai Middle Road, and planned to have lunch here. The crowd waiting in line for dinner in front of the door surprised me. I asked, and the wait would take at least an hour. This is unnecessary. We turned to the nearby "Old Man He" restaurant, which also took us half an hour to wait, but it was still within our tolerance.
I ordered chopped chicken, braised pork, shepherd's purse and yellow croaker soup, and fragrant grass head. The hotel's service is worthy of praise. There are stools waiting in line downstairs. When you go up to the restaurant on the third floor, the waiter will welcome you at the elevator entrance. The dining table has been cleared and the menu is served. There are about seven or eight tables in the restaurant. Guests are very quiet. The service staff stood quietly to the side, and the food tasted very good.

After dinner, go to Yu Garden and City God Temple.
I haven't visited these two places for many years, but only a few impressions remain. Yu Garden is well protected, and its pavilions and pavilions have been carefully repaired. The City God Temple is the most popular place. The Jiuqu Bridge is bustling with people, and the lanterns of the Yuanxiao Festival are still there.

We had dinner at the Songhelou Noodle Restaurant in Chenghuang Temple. Su-style noodle soup is cheap and cheap. A bowl of red noodle soup only costs 12 yuan.

On the day I left Shanghai, I went to Fansheng Cake House on the first floor of the International Hotel to buy the butterfly cakes that were admired by foodies. A bag of five big butterfly cakes costs 32 yuan. It is said that there are more people queuing here every day, and on rest days. After waiting for an hour, I bought a big butterfly cake and fresh milk Hadou. After tasting it, the fresh milk tasted very good.

On the way back to the hotel, I passed a small road and saw a Chinese fast food restaurant with vegetable rice and bone soup on the roadside. The store was small and had many customers. It was quite clean, and my stomach was hungry, so I plunged in. They ordered paella, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed eggs with minced pork, etc., and the total was 33 yuan for the two.

This time, I went to Shanghai for three days. I visited Nanjing Road, Huaihai Road, the Bund, Yu Garden, City God Temple, Shikumen Old Lane, and Shanghai Museum. I went to big restaurants and small restaurants. I ate Chinese food, tasted West Point, looked for the old and the new, and fulfilled my wish.
Overall, the "old" Shanghai has changed a lot. The buildings have been new and the streets have become more beautiful, but there are fewer pedestrians on the streets and even a little deserted. In the past, people who came and went shopping in stores, carrying big bags and small bags, and gathered around the counter to buy and buy goods.
In addition, eating a simple meal in Shanghai is really not expensive. A bowl of noodles at 12 yuan and a fast food of vegetable rice at 14 yuan are not available in Nanjing or many other cities. Everyone knows that Shanghai's housing prices are high, but they don't know that Shanghai's snacks and fast food are so cheap. Of course, if you go to a high-end hotel to eat, that's another story.
