Let's talk about the overall feelings and insights:

You can choose a hotel near the Bund. The one I booked is nearby. Basically, within more than 1 kilometer, you can walk or ride to Nanjing Road, the Bund, Yu Garden, Wax Museum and other attractions, which is relatively convenient.

It is best to go to Shanghai before mid-May, and then it will be hotter. The season I go is already the end of May. It is indeed a bit hot on the day I return, and I still have luggage after checking out, so I can consider it in advance on travel time.

Cruise boats need to be taken at night, and the night view on both sides of the Huangpu River is still very beautiful.

If you are a poor traveler like me, download and register the Metropolis app in advance and use it to swipe the subway. The WeChat bus code can only take the bus, but you can't use the subway.

Here are detailed travel notes:

The plane took off from Xi'an at 5:30 pm on Friday. Spring Airlines didn't have any food. It arrived at Hongqiao Airport at 7:30, Line 10 directly got off at Yuyuan Station, and reached the hotel within a 10-minute walk. The environment is okay and the bed is comfortable.

When I got up early on Saturday morning, I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. I walked to Yu Garden in about 20 minutes. Yu Garden is next to the City God Temple. There are many snacks and a food city where you can try many local delicacies.

The City God Temple is a small shop with Shanghai characteristics that you can stroll around.

The entrance fee for Yuyuan is 40 yuan. It is quite large, the road is narrow, and the garden is very unique. Especially the classical furniture in each room is very particular, as well as the calligraphy and paintings inside. However, you cannot go in and see it, you can only see it outside the door. Their public account has free voice explanations, and those who are interested can listen to them. The garden is very big, and you get lost while walking. It's really winding. You can check the map to see which points have not been turned to. Basically, you can visit it in an hour and a half at most.

The center of Shanghai is on the east bank of the Huangpu River. I took a bus there. In 10 minutes, it was the Lujiazui Financial Center area. It was full of skyscrapers. No wonder it was called Magic City.

After eating on the first floor of Shanghai Center, I bought a ticket and went to the sightseeing floor on the 118th floor. The ticket price is 180, and it will fly to the 118th floor in one minute. It will give you a bird 's-eye view of the entire Lujiazui and Huangpu River from above. It is still great.

After you come out of the center of Shanghai, take the subway to Nanjing East Road Subway Station. When you come out, you will find the pedestrian street.

One end of the pedestrian street leads to the Bund, and the other end is Shanghai New World, where you can visit Tussauds Wax Museum. I didn't know it at the time, so I walked to the Bund. Along the Bund viewing channel, I could see the Lujiazui skyscraper on the other side and the international buildings behind me.

I stayed around 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I was too tired, so I went back to the hotel to rest. This is the advantage of choosing a hotel nearby. I should rest and come out for a cruise at night.

There are also cruise ships on the Huangpu River during the day, almost every hour, and there are more flights in the evening. They all buy tickets and take boats at Shiliupu Wharf.

I bought a 7:25 ticket and the ticket price was 120. I drove in the river for about an hour and then returned to the starting point. The night view is really beautiful.

I didn't check out after getting up on Sunday morning, because I expected to return to the hotel at 12 o'clock, so I set off after 9 o'clock. The ride quickly reached Shanghai New World. The mall didn't open until 10 o'clock, but the delicious snacks on the basement floor were already open. It was open, and it was just past 10 o'clock after eating.

On the first floor is the ticket office of Tussauds Wax Museum. The ticket price is 190. You can also book tickets in advance on the public account. Buy before 8 o'clock, and you can get a discount of 10 yuan. If you buy them on the public account, you can enter with the electronic code, without having to queue up to buy tickets on site.

The wax figures inside are very realistic. There are many performing stars, sports stars, singers, political figures, classic characters, etc., and they can be touched and photographed. Photo locations, props and costumes are also reserved for tourists. People who like to take pictures are expected to have a very good time.

After the end of an hour, I returned to the hotel to check out and picked up my luggage. Since the flight was at 6 o'clock, I still had time to go to an attraction.

I went to Tianzifang, which was only 4 subway stops away. There are very distinctive shops inside, very crowded, but very interesting, where you can find interesting gadgets.

It was still early when I left Tianzifang, so I went to Wukang Road again. Because I had to pass Wukang Road to the airport, I got off the bus halfway and went to Wukang Road first. After all, there were also old buildings with Shanghai logos.

Wukang Road is suitable for young literary and artistic people to take photos. Along the road are the former residences of many celebrities, and the buildings are also very distinctive.

This is the last stop before leaving Shanghai, and then it is Line 10 to Hongqiao Airport. Juneyao Airlines. There is food and the service is good. I return to Xi'an safely.

One last suggestion: I can arrange my itinerary using the Huangpu River as a boundary. After seeing the Huangpu River on the first afternoon, I should go to the wax museum. Because it is nearby and I haven't checked it in advance, the plan is not comprehensive. However, the Shanghai subway is very developed. As long as the time is planned well, you can go to more places in 2 days.

Finally, I wish everyone a good time. If you have any questions, you can leave a message. I will reply in time after seeing it.
