1. Preliminary preparations

1. Consultation: My colleague just happened to travel to Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Wuzhen on a free trip, so I consulted in advance.

2. Booking an itinerary: Look at the strategies of various places from Ctrip, estimate the main attractions you want to visit, and collect the locations of the attractions on Baidu. Some one-day tour recommendations basically determine the stay time in Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuzhen, and Hangzhou. Also understand the ticket policies of some attractions.

3. Booking accommodation: I originally wanted to book Jinmao in Shanghai and enjoy a luxury hotel. The child said it was too expensive. She said that her classmates stayed in B & Bs more when traveling. She didn't know where she learned about a certain short-term B & Bs website, so she found information about B & Bs from various places, copied and collected the website, and asked me to choose. Okay, let me take a look. In the end, she confirmed that Suzhou did what she wanted and booked a room next to the subway; Wuzhen also booked a small "B & B" room. Hotels in Shanghai and Hangzhou can be found on Ctrip, and there are all kinds of reviews. The ratings were okay at first, but later when I looked at the bad reviews, I had a big problem again. Finally, considering transportation and location, Shanghai chose a hotel close to the train station and subway, and Hangzhou also chose a five-star hotel.

4. Booking transportation: I was the first to book a plane ticket to Shanghai, but booking later would be expensive. Others are bullet trains and high-speed trains. The fares remain unchanged and ticket changes are easy, so you can book slowly. There is also urban transportation. Initial preparations are mainly public transportation. After consultation, we downloaded subway software such as Shanghai's "Metropolis" and Suzhou's "Sue-Xing", as well as Alipay's bus and subway boarding codes.

The flight was at 8 a.m., and I booked the ticket on Ctrip one night in advance. I tried to use Ctrip to book a delivery car for 8 yuan, which was so good. The plane arrived at Pudong International Airport on time at around 9 o'clock. Seeing that it was time, I immediately booked a one-day trip to Shanghai starting at 12 noon that day on Ctrip (288 yuan). It is more convenient to use "Metropolis" to scan the code and take the subway. You can swipe it three times on one mobile phone. Arrive at the hotel first (Sushi Luxury Hotel Shanghai Railway Station Branch), which was actually right above the subway station, which was "close" enough. Check your large luggage first and take the subway to gather at People's Square Station on time. I was in a hurry, so I bought McDonald's to eat, and I was troubled when throwing out garbage. Later, the children said that the classification was actually the same as Xiamen, and the name was different. Basically, dry garbage = other garbage, and wet garbage = kitchen waste.

With two buses and two tour guides, you can still relax when you get on the bus and sleep off and the tour guide explains. The Oriental Pearl Tower queued for two hours before reaching 263 meters. It was crowded with people and then to the 259 glass plank road. After watching the scenery from high altitude, we landed to see the Shanghai History Exhibition Hall and Alice of the Wonderful Dream. In the evening, we were dragged to the City God Temple to visit. There were many tourists, but the snacks were expensive and inappropriate. I took a few glances at Yuyuan next to me, and I visited it on National Day in 1994. It was also crowded back then. I had to seize time to take a photo. The tour guide said that he would grab tickets for the night tour. Regardless of whether it was true or false, I couldn't book them last night anyway. Looking at Shanghai from the Huangpu River at night, it feels high and high. Photos were taken and taken. When I met a mother and daughter pair next to me, the little girl didn't want to take pictures and was scolded and cried by her mother. The bus was taken to the subway station near the Bund. The tour guide was more practical and reminded everyone to try to take public transportation such as the subway. Taking a taxi was troublesome, and the road was congested and expensive.

I feel that this one-day trip is good, a feast for the eyes, and it is worth the trip.

For most of the day, I walked nearly 20,000 steps. This amount of exercise is okay.

Today is purely free travel and I am preparing to hang out for a day. Sleep until you wake up naturally in the morning, pack up, check out, and store large luggage.

After passing through Baidu, I took the subway to Changning District, which was "empty when thinking"(190 yuan/person). The first goal of the child's trip was to see the online celebrity store on Douyin. I wanted her to go in and play alone, while we adults went nearby. Later, I was embarrassed when I thought about it. She "accompanied" us to visit the scenic spots, and it was only right for us to accompany her. Watch small animals raccoons, chinchillas, alpacas, mazes, Ar games and more. Tickets are not cheap, and there are many people, including children, boys and girls. You can take a halftime break, come out for lunch, and then go in. Most of the day passed.

Exit from Nanjing West Road Subway Station, go east, and see high-rise buildings all the way. When we arrived near the site of the First National Congress of China, we turned around. It was about 800 meters away. After several intersections, we walked for about 20 minutes. Looking at the venue of the National Congress from TV and photos, it feels very tall, but when you walk in front of you, it is actually not very high. There happened to be a group of people wearing party members 'badges outside. They were probably from some unit for party day visits. The time was tight, so there was no queue to visit. There are many people on the pedestrian street of Nanjing East Road, but I don't have the impression of it in 1994. I only remember that when I took a bus queue back then, there were usually two teams: one team was for seats and was opened first; the other team was for standing and was later released. As the people moved towards the Bund, they reached Chen Yi Square. They stayed for a while. Back then, a photo was taken on the Bund with Pudong as the background. There were only the Oriental Pearl Tower and a small high-rise next to it. Now, looking at it, it is full of high-rise buildings, the style of an international metropolis.

Then transfer to the subway and go to the "tea funny" tea shop on Yongkang Road, Xuhui District. The second goal of the children's trip was that she took a fancy to "handmade milk covered tea" and "capsule mousse cake." After tasting it, it was getting late and she hurried to the train station.

At night, I took a long-lost green train to Suzhou. It was very nostalgic. The speed was slow and the noise was loud. I didn't stop at other stops halfway. I arrived in Suzhou in about 50 minutes. I took the subway and found a booked B & B. I was disappointed with the hygiene and so on.

Suzhou planned to visit the Suzhou Museum, but colleagues reminded Su Bo that he had to make an online appointment in advance, so he made an appointment early.

Sleep until you wake up naturally. Subo, Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Forest are in the same area, which is today's goal. Because I lived far away from Subo and rushed slowly, the appointment from 10 to 11 o'clock almost expired.

There is a one-card card for Suzhou tourism, called the "Transfer Card", which is divided into 24 hours (200 yuan) and 48 hours (318 yuan), and includes several attractions for free. Students get half price for scenic spots in Suzhou, so I only bought two cards and booked tickets for my children online. Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove also need to make another appointment to enter the venue. If you book tickets online, you can directly choose the time period and swipe your ID card to enter the venue. It is very simple. As for the transfer card, you have to book it online again, choose a special discount of "0" yuan for an appointment, and limit one mobile phone to only book one number, which is a bit troublesome. In Humble Administrator's Garden, the ones from the Passenger Service Center were better. They directly gave me two reservation forms, but the ones from Lion Grove did not. It took me a long time to get it done.

Where there is culture and stories, if you travel freely, you should still do a good job in strategies, otherwise you will miss many stories. A tour guide said well that listening to stories is better than watching the scenery. There are many stories about Suzhou gardens. It is recommended to pay attention to the public accounts of each garden and have a look and listen in advance. Otherwise, it will be just a cursory look and a gulp. It is too different. People like me miss a lot brilliantly. After visiting Lion Grove in the afternoon, navigate to Pingjiang Historical District, one of China's top ten famous historical and cultural streets. It is built along a small river. The river and road run parallel. There are many tourists and it is quite lively. Walking and eating snacks is quite leisurely. There is a subway station near the street corner, which is convenient.

Today's goals are Huqiu, Hanshan Temple, Lingering Garden, etc., which are relatively close to the place where they live. The three points are distributed in a triangle, each with a distance, so they all use taxis. Just then my colleague discovered that the "handheld high-speed rail" was being launched on the market and the discount was very large, so he used it.

Go to Hanshan Temple first and book a "Red Flag" car online. The Bell Tower of Hanshan Temple is under construction, and almost all the stele corridors are filled with various calligraphy of the poem "Maple Bridge Mooring at Night". Since I haven't done enough strategies, I can shop faster. I can just take a casual look and come out.

I stopped a taxi outside and headed for Huqiu. The cabbie should be a local. He was quite talkative and down-to-earth. He introduced Su embroidery to us, told us what stores local people would go to buy and what brands, etc., and advised us not to go to shops in scenic spots to buy it. Arriving at the south gate of Huqiu, it felt a little deserted and did not feel like it was within the range of famous attractions. I had lunch at a nearby restaurant. The waiter was an old aunt and there were no customers. I ordered the "fried chicken". It didn't taste much. It was probably heated in a bagged microwave. Jin Huqiu took a leaflet, looked at it at the schematic map, and looked at it while walking. It was more interesting. I found the 5-cent stamp "Suzhou Tiger Hill" on the mobile phone online and compared it to the real scene to see the changes. More than 30 years have passed, and the crown has become bigger. When you go to the top of the mountain and look closely at the leaning tower, it is indeed tilted badly. Going down the mountain to the north, I also visited Sun Wu Temple, which was basically newly built.

I am going to go on a boat tour of the canal in the evening. According to the online introduction, I have to go to the service point before 4 p.m. to exchange for tickets. There is one at the north gate of Huqiu. The waiter may not be familiar with the business and said that the transfer card would have to be exchanged at the dock, so I took a taxi there. As a result, I said that the transfer card would not need to be exchanged and would directly board the boat.

There was still plenty of time, so I decided to visit the Lingering Garden. Although I have been to Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove, it is not inconsistent to see the Lingering Garden again. It is worthy of being one of the four famous gardens in China and worth visiting!

The driver previously recommended to us that we could go to Shantang Street again. I looked at the map and found that it was not far away. I walked there from the Lingering Garden. Shantang Street is very lively and a famous street in Chinese history and culture. It was built next to the river, and Suzhou noodles are eaten at the street entrance. Suzhou has a long history and many celebrities. Sun Wu, Tang Yin, Kangxi and Qianlong's main stops in Jiangnan. If you follow a tour guide, you can listen to stories all the way.

After looking at the map, you can go straight from Shantang Street to the dock. You can walk there for more than 2 kilometers. The little brother on the cruise ship introduced them all the way and learned some stories, such as Wu Zixu building Suzhou; and listening to four Suzhou Pingtan performances. The night view of the river bank is average. I took a taxi back and listened to the driver telling some wonderful stories about his driving experiences.

The high-speed train leaves Suzhou for Tongxiang at 8:37. You can go to Wuzhen Station by swiping Alipay and taking buses 282 and 281 at Tongxiang Station (a 1-hour drive). You can pick up the B & B you booked (boutique fairy tale) and put your luggage and have lunch. The roadside restaurant was kind and ordered a few dishes, which were delicious and not expensive. I also took a nap after dinner. I booked a joint ticket for Xizha and Dongzha (190 yuan/person) last night, thinking that I could finish the trip. However, when I went to the scenic area service center to buy student tickets, I was told that it was unlikely that I would finish the trip in half a day, so I could only go to Xizha.

When entering the scenic area, there are introductions that suggest using Gaode maps and download them immediately. Sure enough, the attractions are very clear, and some "must-see" attractions are also marked. Go north first, and then go south at the end. There are many people, the scenery is good, the various exhibition halls are amazing, and the business is well run. Later, I rented a small boat for three people (a total of 280 yuan). Looking at the small night scenery on both sides from the river, I felt okay and satisfied my eyes, but I used an ordinary mobile phone and the photo effect was average. I think it is better to take a boat during the day. The boat is one-way, and if you go back, there will be fewer people. Seeing that there are many accommodation spots in the scenic area, I checked online and found that if I book earlier, it would not be expensive (usually with 2 tickets). I regretted not listening to my colleagues 'suggestions and booking a B & B in the scenic area.

I originally booked a bullet train from Tongxiang to Hangzhou in the morning (18-minute journey), but it took an hour from Wuzhen to the subway station. It was really a wrong move. I asked the homeboy and said that there are many buses to Hangzhou. So I refunded the bullet train ticket and changed the ticket for the passenger train departing at noon.

Got on the bus at the Xizha parking lot, and a salesperson on the bus recommended products such as a one-day trip to Hangzhou. The price was okay compared with the Internet, so I booked a one-day trip to West Lake the next day (130 yuan). It took more than two hours to arrive in Hangzhou and took a taxi to the hotel (Metropark International Hotel) to rest. I originally planned to sign up for a group to go to Songcheng to see a performance, but the enthusiastic taxi driver told us that we could only watch the performance of "Eternal Love in Songcheng" in the evening, which was not cost-effective, so I changed my mind and planned to go to Songcheng all day on the third day. From Ctrip, the hotel's Chinese restaurant has a discount package of 128 yuan, which is very good. I called the service desk and ordered it immediately. The price is beautiful and cheap. It is good.

Looking at some of the hotel's promotional brochures, I found that there was an open light show on the "City Balcony"(Citizen Center Subway Station) along the Qiantang River that night. I took a taxi there after dinner. Those who have watched the live TV broadcast related to the G20 Summit should have an impression. Use the high-rise screens by the riverside to show promotional blockbusters. Go over and watch them, and recommend them! It seems to be broadcast twice every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights.

I was in a hurry to go with the group that day. I called and told them that the bus would arrive at the hotel gate at 7:20, but I didn't expect to arrive on time, so I had to be urged several times before catching the bus. With a tour guide, it is still possible to introduce attractions and stories along the way. After seeing the new Lei Feng Tower, which was built on top of the old tower, I climbed the tower to see the West Lake. There are some special displays in each tower. Maybe they signed up for a "low-cost group", but the tour guide did not follow them to the tower to introduce them. Then I took a boat trip to West Lake, and the queue time was too long. On cloudy days, there are advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that it is not hot, and the disadvantage is that the lake view is not so beautiful.

Unexpectedly, all four places took cruise ships. The recommended order is: Shanghai Pujiang night tour-Wuzhen cruise ship (recommended during the day)-West Lake cruise ship (recommended to be able to go to the island and see the three ponds and the moon in close proximity)-Suzhou Ancient Canal. After getting off the boat, I visited a few more attractions, and was taken to see Sichou and Longjing. Although it took time, it also gained some knowledge, giving people the feeling that the atmosphere and routines of "slaughtering people" were too obvious and there were not many people buying it. Although the tour guide was very disappointed, he did not talk nonsense and his quality was not bad.

Finally, we headed to Lingyin Feilaifeng. Everyone who signed up for the tour could enter, but the tour guide misunderstood everyone. Only seven or eight people would go (the tour guide saved the ticket fees of 20 or 30 people). The children feel very good about it and think it is very quiet. On the return journey, the tour guide introduced Hangzhou cuisine and specialties to everyone, and recommended everyone to go to grandma's house, alley hall, Zhiweiguan, etc. After the group broke up, he went to find grandma's house. Unexpectedly, there were too many people in line and no one would place the number. After reading the menu, it was indeed good but not expensive. After searching, I found that the main store of Zhiweiguan is not far from (Longxiang Subway Station), and there are also discount packages. Walking over, I ordered a set meal for 188 yuan. There were famous dishes such as Daohua chicken and Longjing shrimp. The portions were sufficient. Daohua chicken was much more authentic than Suzhou's and couldn't be eaten for three people. After dinner, I walked around the West Lake for a while. It was under renovation. The surrounding lights were not on, so there was nothing to visit.

I booked a family package ticket for Songcheng for 800 yuan the night before. Online generally only offers discounts for children under 1.2 meters, but students still have discounts for actual operations. When booking, I paid attention to the public account, only to discover that there was a coupon of 50 yuan, but it would take a few days to be useful. I suggest that if you want to go, you can pay attention three or four days in advance. Take a taxi there. There is a leaflet at the entrance of the scenic area, introducing the time of each performance in more detail. After staying all day, I basically watched all kinds of performances, and there were two scenes where the audience was recruited (Yingshanhong, Great Earthquake), which was a bit interesting. The finale is "Eternal Love in Song City". The previous introduction raised my hopes, but after reading it, I felt nothing more than that. If you haven't seen it before, take a look. In the evening, I returned to the vicinity of Longxiang Bridge for a stroll. These days, when I walk more than 10,000 steps every day, my soles of my feet have formed cocoons.

In the morning, I packed my luggage and stored it before visiting Yuewang Temple. I even went to the opposite Quyuan Fenghi and took a look at the lotus flowers. When booking a taxi online, I located "KFC". Unexpectedly, there was a shop nearby. The driver took a few rounds before finally arriving. After chatting, Master Wu was from Hangzhou. He had just opened an online taxi booking for a few days. He was not familiar with the roads in the West Lake area and was interesting. I got out of the car a little anxious, and I didn't even know that the child's old mobile phone had been left behind. Fortunately, Master Wu found out and called to ask. Time was limited, so I asked him to help mail it back. Because I didn't grasp the time well, I almost missed the high-speed train on the return journey and ran all the way to the station. We should still arrange more time.
