Now I have time to sort out my feelings about this vacation. Sigh, why do happy times pass so quickly?

I promised my daughter a long time outing, and finally took place in May. After thinking for a long time when choosing a destination, I finally chose the Sun Island Resort Hotel near Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. First, a parent-child hotel is suitable for a family of three, second, a hotel that can bring pets is really rare, and third, Sun Island is the closest parent-child resort to Shanghai. So the group of three and the family's 16-month-old dog Coco drove towards Qingpu District in a small car!

Sun Island is located around Shanghai-near Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. Sun Island was formerly known as Mao Island. As far back as the Western Zhou Dynasty in China, there have been traces of human life on the island. The island connects the Mao River and Taipu River with the Dianshan Lake, Huangpu River and Taihu Lake basins. It is an important landmark for ships traveling in the three major waters. It coincides with May, and the island is lush with lush vegetation, green willows, and fragrant grass everywhere. It has a taste of April fragrance and a paradise.

Self-driving/bus routes:

We drove from downtown Shanghai to Sun Island and took the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway. It was about an hour's drive, which was very convenient. If you don't want to drive, you can also take Line 17 and get off Zhujiajiao Town. After getting off, you can either take a taxi or transfer to a bus.

The large sculpture I like at the door is a bit like Van Gogh's Fauvism. When you look closely, it is still a mermaid. Hehe, everyone will appreciate it as a work of art. Otherwise, it would be completely different from the aesthetics of modern beautiful women.

Dear Parent-Child Room:

The check-in lobby and villa area on Sun Island are separate. After completing the procedures, you can drive yourself or take a short mini bus on the island to your room. The villa area is very large, with lush vegetation, and is adjacent to the Mao River. Walking through a winding path leads to a secluded place.

We chose the club parent-child room next to the river. Before check-in, we introduced this room type to be 71 square meters. After arriving, we found it very spacious. The soft clothes in the room are all cartoon themes that the baby likes. You can see a large flying chess carpet right in front of you. There are also several whole boxes of Lego toys, children's tents and cartoon dolls next to it. It is worthy of being a Shanghai parent-child hotel with a negative review.

The room is equipped with a capsule coffee maker and free soft drinks, as well as a bottle of red wine from the hotel's brother brand. It feels great value. The room is designed with a twin bed, a double bed + a baby bed. The bathroom has a separate bathtub, toothbrushes and toothpaste for children, and a toilet seat for children. It is very considerate.

Pet Park:

After unloading my luggage, I took Coco (my silly dog) straight to the petting park. Before I even got there, I saw various parents with dogs. Coco was extremely excited. The pet park is divided into two indoor and outdoor areas. Indoor, you can give dogs afternoon tea, play with climbing frames, and ocean balls. Outside, there is a huge outdoor lawn. You can also let dogs swim. It is a professional pet swimming pool.

It is worth mentioning that Sun Island has pet foster care and pet training services. It is equipped with professional dog training coaches who can help dogs correct bad habits and learn some skills. Coco stayed here for an afternoon. The little guy was timid and kept barking. The staff were very patient and gave him biscuits and yogurt, which was super nice.

Mermaid Train:

After coming out of the pet park, I took my daughter to build a mermaid train. The train was made of blue and white, and there were colorful paintings painted on both sides of the car body, full of innocence. There are three stops throughout the journey, including the hotel lobby, the Mermaid Wharf, and the small green space. You can ride all day after buying a ticket. You can see the scenery of the island along the way and feel comfortable.

For dinner on the first day, the family went to try a small hot pot, one for each person. The set meal included vegetables, meat, fish and shellfish. The pork bone soup was cooked thick. I heard that the vegetables were self-grown organic dishes on the island. They tasted crispy, and were enough to eat with meat and seafood. If you don't feel full enough, you can add a staple food, unlimited drops ~

Breakfast the next day was eaten in the hotel cafeteria. It had to be blown up. It was a very high quality in the hotel. There were both Chinese and Western styles. The noodles in the Ming Dynasty were very delicious. The soy milk and yogurt I made myself was a masterpiece. If I wanted to eat Western-style foods, there were also salad breads, etc., and the family was very satisfied.

Play/Entertainment:

Before coming here, I heard that the Equestrian Club on Sun Island in Shanghai was very famous. After breakfast the next day, I took my daughter for a horse walk. My daughter was a little scared when she saw the big horse at first, but later the staff brought a small pony for her to ride, and she fell in love with it. Wear protective gear before riding the horse, and the staff will hold it all the way. There will be no danger. The baby has a good time. I saw many children learning professional equestrian at the racecourse (Shanghai Sun Island Equestrian Club), which was very handsome ~

There are many places suitable for children to play on the island. We chose to go to the Craftiness Museum to do handicrafts first. There were teachers and toolkits. We just needed to follow suit. We chose a soft pottery and a leather bag, and they were all successfully completed in the end!

The weather in May is already relatively hot. There are many people gathered at the Mermaid Wharf, and water sports have become a popular activity. Rent a water bike for a family of three and make it feel comfortable and melodious ~

For lunch, we chose the Falls West Restaurant on the first floor of the front hall. The three of us were not too hungry after eating too much in the morning. I ordered special children's meals for my daughter, cutlery for children, freshly made burgers and juice are very popular. My husband and I tried the new dirty milk and freshly made desserts with fresh milk and fruits. It was cool and cool in early summer. It was very nice to have a cup.

Generally speaking, Shanghai Sun Island Resort Hotel is a good place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle. In an environment where urban air conditions are generally poor, it is really rare to have such a pure land. Except for some areas that still need improvement, everything else is good. Many office workers go for vacation on weekends, so you need to book a room in advance.
