The era of the Great Navigation was the best era ever, and it was a highlight that cannot be ignored in the brief history of mankind.
That era was also the era I longed for, and what was interesting was that my family's work was more or less related to navigation, so visiting the China Navigation Museum was of course a necessity. It was an inseparable fate.

During this rainy season, I sometimes feel that I am not in Shanghai, but on the sea. It is a little moist. It is a miracle to find a day without rain, but I was so lucky to go to the Navigation Museum that day. It didn't rain, and the weather was pretty good.
Shanghai floats at the 70th anniversary military parade can also be seen here.
You can take the elevator up these steps, or you can walk up them, as if you are walking the nautical path traveled by your ancestors.

Ming Dynasty Fortune Boat-Navigation History Museum-Seamen's Hall-Ship Hall-Pre-Exhibition Hall-Hydrophilic Platform Activities-Navigation and Port Hall-Maritime Museum and Maritime Safety Hall-Military Navigation Hall-Cultural and Creative Center
Ming Dynasty Fu Chuan
Entering the door is actually on the second floor, where you can directly see the appearance of the Ming Dynasty Fu boat. However, this Fu boat is very large in area, so if you want to see the whole picture, you have to look carefully layer by layer and be able to land and board the boat. Recently, a limit of 10 people was allowed to board the boat.
This is a popular exhibition here. During the summer, many children come to the Navigation Museum because of this ship.
This is a giant Ming Dynasty lucky ship made in a 1:1 ratio. It can really be launched and sailed. It makes us feel like we have returned to the sailing era. The era when Zhu Di, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, approved of Zheng He's voyages to the West, and it was also the glory of China in the feudal era.
Although we regret to miss the era of great navigation, we have our own traditions and culture.
Navigation History Museum (Focus)
If you are looking for a guide, you may stay here for a relatively long time.
Here is the history of sailing, from kayaks and canoes to sails to mechanization.
Here are the most expensive Spring and Autumn large-wing warships in the entire museum, which can be regarded as one of the treasures of the museum.
The value is high not only because the ship is made of pure gold, but also because of its amazing details. The soldiers, oarsmen, and even the bows and arrows used in battle on the upper and lower floors of the warship can be clearly discerned.
This craftsman spirit can be seen.
This place is really suitable for children, especially older children, because they have begun to understand history and are willing to open their eyes to the world.
My daughter stopped in front of this huge rudder and felt the size of the rudder. She could know how huge the ship was back then.
Here is also the "Ming Dynasty Mixed One Picture", which is the largest, oldest and best-preserved painted world map of the world with the largest size, oldest and best preserved known drawn by the Chinese in my country. It is also the earliest world map depicting Africa that can be seen so far.
Sails from different periods.
There are also models of ships from different periods and regions.
On the Idun wheel, the exhibits are accompanied by introductions, so you can take a closer look.
There is also this Jiaolong.
seafarers 'hall
There used to be an ocean-going crew member at home, who was responsible for radio and GPS at that time, so he was familiar with ships and navigation itself.
The most interesting thing in the seafarers 'hall is the navigation simulator. You can wear 3D polarized glasses and walk into the cockpit of a virtual ship. Recently, five people can enter at a time. The Huangpu River Channel and the Expo Park are in front of you.
There are also various introductions about seafarers, and there is even a bedroom display of crew members. It is very interesting. This display is already the captain's room. Low-level crew members, such as sailors, and mechanics are usually high and low, and several people share a room. There are not beds that wide, which are usually around 70cm. This is especially true for tugboats. Ocean-going cargo ships can be bigger.
Taking a child through this wall is like traveling through a century of seafarers.
Ship Hall
It mainly displays the structure and equipment of modern ships as well as shipbuilding technology of different eras. Some ships have profiles, as well as introductions to the bow, body, turbine, etc. From ancient times to the present, there are also different propellers, etc.
You can also see the internal structure of submarine 033 here, which is very amazing.
Come and try being a helmsman yourself.
Take a look at what these dashboards do and what instruments are on board.
If you want to carefully observe and play here, it is necessary to spend 4 hours.
Navigation and Port Pavilion-Maritime Pavilion and Maritime Security Pavilion-Military Navigation Pavilion can all allow people to understand different degrees of knowledge about navigation and ports.
Navigation and Port PavilionLocated on the second floor of the museum, it mainly displays the marine environment and various instruments and technologies used to ensure ship navigation.
From the ancient star guide board, to the modern sextant and octant, to radio, GPS and other nautical instruments used since ancient times.
People who like the Navy, like me, love it very muchMilitary Navigation HallNow, there are two major display sections: naval construction of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and knowledge of warships. It displays a variety of cultural relics reflecting major historical events of the Chinese People's Navy. There are many ship models of various types, and even the sister ship of the largest battleship in history, the Musashi, was blown up and sunk before leaving the port.
There are also various military flags flying, which is still very spectacular.
There are also models such as the destroyer "Anshan", the missile destroyer "Jinan", and the missile nuclear submarine "Ohio"...
Maritime and Maritime Safety Museum
It consists of two major exhibition areas: maritime affairs and maritime security.
temporary exhibitionWell, the Jinghai Shenji recently opened a new exhibition, mainly a firearms exhibition, and I was going to see it again. When I went, it was the China Navigation Museum, in conjunction with the Shanghai City Ocean Management Affairs Center and the Shanghai City Archives, to jointly organize the exhibition "Hong Kong for City Use, City Prosperity for Hong Kong: The Blending of City and Ocean in Modern Shanghai."
The exhibition has three parts: "Rivers and Seas Connecting Tianjin, Giant Shipping Port, and Pioneer of Customs". It uses nearly a hundred cultural relics, documents, models and other exhibits to show the ocean and navigation from multiple dimensions such as "shipping, economy, culture, urban construction, and citizen life". The far-reaching impact on the city of Shanghai.
The emblem of Shanghai City is a model of a sand boat.
Not only can you learn about Shanghai's history, but it is also a very suitable place to take photos.
Cheongsam with Shanghai style.
There are rickshaws. Looking at this, it seems to have returned to the Shiliyangchang a hundred years ago.
There is also Bailemen, a landmark building in Shanghai. Stand off the stage and leave your own shadow.
Don't forget to leave your name on the blackboard when you leave to witness the changes in Shanghai.
Of course, you can not only watch here, but also play with yourself.
For example, at the hydrophilic platform on the first floor, there are encountersMaritime Life Festival。
On the main stage of the Maritime Life Festival, performances such as "Signal Flag Performance","Sailor Knot Interaction" and "Maritime Children's Drama" are available.
There are various Mini games that can be played by older children, and adults can also participate in. We recommend the "VR Rowing Challenge","Remote Control Boat Experience","Stack Giant Paper Boat","Navigation Bottle Throwing Ceremony","Navigation Maze" and "Navigation Little Iron Three". My baby likes remote control boats and bottle throwing so much that he can't stop playing.
Also remember to check in and stamp the stamp so you can exchange gifts.
If all the projects are completed, there is still a chance to draw a model of the aircraft carrier Liaoning! I'm so envious.
There is also a model of the Liaoning ship next to here.
There is also a cafe and catering inside, so eating can also be done internally.
You can go to the Cultural and Creative Center to have a look when the time comes.
The cultural creations here are very distinctive, and there are quite a few things about the ocean, such as the chart series, Chaozong Yuhai tape, album books, manual accounts, Zheng He series pen holders, etc., which are all very interesting and hit my cute point.
There were also brass magnifying glasses, three-fold telescopes, etc., full of ancient atmosphere, and they decisively took them away.
The China Navigation Museum is really a treasure museum. My daughter's classmate only learned about it after we got home and said it was a pity not to take her with her.
Prepare to have a special exhibition next time and come again to have fun and educate.
