I think everyone knows that this year's 10th China Flower Expo will be held in Chongming, and there is still one month left to officially open!

The Flower Expo is in full swing, and as a warm-up to the Flower Expo, the first Chongming Flower Festival was held in Huabo South Garden (Dongping National Forest Park) for a period of 58 days.

Huabo South Park

Focusing on the theme of "Blooming Flowers·Chinese Dream", Huabo South Park wonderfully interprets the artistic connotation of "Fragrance Forest-Happy Life Every Day". Based on Dongping National Forest Park, through landscape improvement and transformation, it creates "one stream, multiple gardens, and hundreds of cherry, thousands of purple, and thousands of forests" landscape, strives to create a mellow ecological heritage, clear natural culture, comfortable health environment, elegant humanistic quality, clean energy and low-carbon, and friendly service facilities that match the world-class ecological island. The "Buchart-style" Forest and Flower Garden with unique and exquisite landscapes provides tourists with the unique taste of enjoying flowers and playing "on the island, in the countryside, and in the forest". Before the official opening of the Flower Expo, they can experience the charming sea of flowers in advance.

[Aromatic Area]

Entering from Gate 1 of Huabo South Garden, the first thing that comes into view is the aromatic style area, which consists of East and West Road of Metasequoia, Huaxi Diversified Water Landscape and other parts. Sheets of tulips are planted on both sides of the road and dotted with pansies at the bottom, forming a sea of flowers.

[Thousand Miles Cultural Wisteria Corridor]

At present, because the wisteria flowering season has not yet arrived and the purple flower landscape has not yet appeared, the garden has arranged large flower balls on the promenade to fish down. With the tulips and February orchids on both sides, it is equally beautiful.

On the southwest of the Wisteria Promenade, a hundred cherry blossoms forest has been created with the highlights of 'Hundred acres of cherry blossoms, Hundred Species of Cherry Blossom, and Cherry Blossom Appreciation on Water'.

[Guihua Road Shade-resistant Flower Landscape]

From the middle point of the Wisteria Corridor to the north, you come to the park's Guihua Road. This is currently the longest and most diverse understory flowering and shade-resistant flower landscape in the country. It has a total length of about 800 meters and is planted with hydrangea, jade hairpin, alum root, etc. Shade-resistant plants.

[Forest Art Gallery]

"Chongming Impression-China Flower Expo Chen Xiejun and Chen Ying Family Oil Painting Exhibition" was held at the Flower Expo Nanyuan Forest Art Gallery during the 10th China Flower Expo, with a total of 300 works on display.

[China International Flower Landscape Competition]

With the support of Shanghai City Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Municipal Greening and City Appearance Bureau, Chongming District Government, etc., the first China International Flower Landscape Competition brought together 26 provinces and cities in China, 64 flower landscape enterprises, 7 scientific research institutes and 28 universities participated.

[Chongming Shuixian Garden]

Chongming Narcissus Garden covers an area of 760 square meters, of which Chongming Narcissus covers an area of about 80 square meters. Use anti-seasonal flowering technology to make Chongming daffodils bloom in batches.

[Yangtze River Delta Citizen Garden Competition]

The exhibition area of the Yangtze River Delta Citizens 'Garden Competition is located in the forest park's fir forest drizzle landscape belt. It brings together 30 contestants from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui. Their works include Jiangnan gardens, Japanese courtyards, American flower landscapes and other styles. From design to construction and exhibition, to extension maintenance, all of them are completed with the personal participation of the citizens, presenting the concept of "People's Garden Built by the People".

In Huabo South Garden, there are also multiple themed flower landscape nodes, including welcome overture, elf secret words, air guards, desert scenery, ball garden, wave garden, etc. Citizens and tourists are welcome to find them.

Regarding the beautiful scenery of Chongming, I think you haven't had enough of visiting, so I would recommend other places worth visiting in Chongming.

Xisha wetland

The Chongming Xisha Wetland was reopened to the public on the 15th of the first month of this year after renovation. As a free 4A scenic spot in Chongming, you must visit it.

Next to the Xisha Wetland, there are also Mingzhu Lake Scenic Area and Chongming Lotus Expo Park, both worth visiting.

Gaojiazhuang Ecological Park

Gaojiazhuang Ecological Park is a comprehensive ecological leisure farm integrating tourism, leisure, vacation, catering, accommodation, conference, entertainment, and agricultural tourism. The overall plan of Gaojiazhuang Ecological Park is full of natural atmosphere and pastoral scenery. The park has built a popular science education experimental base, fishing club, harvest picking garden, Qingqu Garden, Fisherman's Wharf, Yingduge Teahouse, Bird Culture Exhibition Hall, folk customs yurts, Gaojia Old House, Jixiang Inn, Forest Club, Farmhouse and other tourist areas.
