The words written in front

When it comes to trends, Shanghai is the well-deserved originator of fashion in China.

Since the 1930s and 1940s, Shanghai has been strongly influenced by Western concepts and has gradually become a "trendsetter" in pursuit of fashion. From the cheongsam and foreign goods in the past to the Lujiazui and Nanjing Road today, every appearance in Shanghai makes people can't help but wonder.

This is a city that is developing at the speed of light. Driving in Shanghai, at every fork in the road, you will find a new world that has surpassed yesterday.

While the weather is getting colder, let's take a self-driving ride in the city that belongs to Shanghai.

about the itinerary

For this trip, I chose several fashionable places in Shanghai with different styles, and together with my new travel companion, the Haval Dog, I learned about the city again within four days.

The journey of more than 100 kilometers can also be divided into several weekends to explore. I have to say that Shanghai, where there are always new things, is really interesting.

DAY1 Capital Airport-Hongqiao Airport

DAY2 Gordon Park-Shanghai Tower-The Bund Financial Center

DAY3 Old House on Xiangyang North Road-West Bank Art Center-Bund

DAY4 Baolong Art Museum-A billion-dollar retro warehouse

[Self-driving Tips]

1. Traffic control in Shanghai is relatively strict. Traffic police and assistant police are on duty at each intersection every morning, noon and evening rush hour. If you are not careful, you will get a ticket. It is recommended to carefully understand Shanghai's road conditions and traffic rules before driving.

2. Shanghai has different policies on restricting the traffic of temporary licenses and foreign license plates. Shanghai residents are not allowed to go on elevated roads from 7 to 10 and 15 to 20 on weekdays; non-Shanghai residents are not allowed to drive within the Outer Ring Road, similar to Shanghai C license plates. Those who plan to drive by themselves in the city must avoid foreign licensed vehicles.

3. Road conditions in Shanghai are quite complex. Tunnels, tunnels, ground, variable lanes, viaducts, left-turn lanes may appear on the far right, and straight lanes may not necessarily lead to a certain road opposite. It's really necessary to open a few more navigation guides to familiarize yourself with the road conditions ahead. Along the way, I opened the Gaode Map built in the big dog, which was combined with the Baidu Map on my mobile phone to protect the company. The V3 smart platform carried by the big dog will also chat with my Xiaodu, making driving less tiring during the lively journey.

4. Most gas stations in Shanghai only accept cash, so it is recommended to withdraw the money in advance.

1. Gordon Park Skypark: Sports can also be pink!

Walking into Changfeng Joy City, going straight to the roof, you will see Gordon Park.

Located in the unique rooftop space with landscaped views in the country, surrounded by the Starry Runway starry runway, it watches Shanghai, a super-port metropolis.

It contains Shanghai's strongest colors and the most sporty atmosphere. There are SHIP 'S CAT sculptures by Japanese contemporary art master Kenji Yanobu, and graffiti walls by Spanish national graffiti artist Sabek.

The park also has ins-style Monument Valley design and the Macaron three-color lounge, both of which are good places to release films.

I am a little envious of the office workers in nearby office buildings. They eat dinner in Joy City after work, and then find a cool evening to come here for a run. There can also be a dreamy pure land in the city.

[Travel Tips]

Address: No. 196, Daduhe Road, Putuo District, Shanghai City

Tickets: Free

Parking: There are parking spaces on the ground and underground in Changfeng Joy City. The parking spaces on the ground are 20 yuan for 2 hours.

Gordon Park is super hot in summer, so you must prepare enough cold drinks. This time, the Haval Dog has a really excellent built-in storage space. The storage compartment on the door can hold 3-4 bottles of water. In addition, an additional elastic limit device is added. It is no problem to tie a bottle of water to the hot spring. The center console also has two cup holders, which are suitable for holding larger cups such as coffee and freshly squeezed juice. In addition, I also found that when the air conditioner is turned on in the central control storage compartment, it is very windy, so it can be used to make ice drinks in the small refrigerator. It is a small egg in self-driving. Drinking ice cola while driving is so cool.

2. Shanghai Tower: A carnival night for three-body book fans

Leave Putuo District and drive towards the city center. In China's tallest building, the Shanghai Center Building, an installation exhibition leading to the three-body universe is on stage.

In 2015, Liu Cixin's science fiction novel "Three-Body" won the Best Story Award at the 73rd Hugo Awards. It was published in 26 languages around the world, created countless golden sentences, and influenced hundreds of millions of fans.

"Three-Body"'s grand and unique worldview structure allows it to give readers unlimited imagination. This power drives three-Body fans to truly think about "Who are we?" in the fictional universe. "Where should I go?"

Walking into the entrance, the golden sentence of "Three-Body" hangs in the air:

"What does destroying you have to do with you?"

Moving forward, the real-life immersion under the interaction is dizzying:

"You are insects! You are insects!"

The interactive devices on the second floor have taken on a grand style."Universe" uses three core planets as switches and lights up when someone approaches. It is really spectacular to watch the explosion of the stars up close!

Ordinary visitors, reserve about 2 hours, which will allow you to enter a new logical world; fans of "Three-Body" may wish to spend half a day here to experience the special imagination of turning from words to immersive exhibitions.

Crossing the dimension of words, this is the blending place of modern Shanghai and the three-dimensional world. While thinking about urban culture, we broaden our horizons and think about where human civilization will go.

3. Shanghai Bund: Shanghai is pink in the rearview mirror

If you want to have an intuitive understanding of Shanghai's prosperity, you must come to the Bund before night falls. On both sides of the Huangpu River, on one side are the architectural expo of various countries with different styles, and on the other side are rows of new-era buildings in Lujiazui.

The car drove out of the Shanghai Center Building, and the weekend traffic quickly surrounded us. Just as the road was unable to move, the sun set, and the high-rise building in Lujiazui was shrouded in the pink sunset.

Looking through the rear view mirror of the Haval Dog, the steel and iron bones of Lujiazui are perfectly integrated with the sunset.

The warmth of the daylight is enough to give a touch of warm comfort to urbanites who are rushing to get off work.

It was around seven o'clock in the evening, the sky was completely dark, the lights were just on, and he drove slowly around the Bund. The prosperity of the city and the fireworks in the city are hidden in this night.

Driving along Yujingpu towards the Huangpu River, on one side are tourists crowded on the observation deck to watch the three-piece Bund set, and on the other side are an old man leading his dog to cast a net by the river to fish.

Crossing the Bund Tunnel to the other side of the river, there are young tourists with cameras next to the ferry. After turning a one-way street, you will find old Shanghai sitting on the roadside waving a fan to enjoy the cool.

"The city I dreamed of thousands of times is the place where you were born."

Driving on the Bund, you will always feel this feeling in your heart.

While waiting for the traffic lights, I asked the young brother to take a photo of the Haval dog and the Bund. The orange-red appearance full of trendy power aesthetics could not be hidden in the night.

4. The rich and the old house: It's the blood of mosquitoes and the white moonlight

Another reason why I like Shanghai is that trends and traditions can coexist. Shanghai people have the most beautiful "super rich chief" in their hearts. Giant is Julu Road, rich is the road to enriching the people, and long is Changle Road. These three small streets may not be the most beautiful neighborhoods in Shanghai, but they are the most interesting and abundant neighborhoods in Shanghai.

When I came here at night, there were Western restaurants and beer bars on the street, filled with office workers who had taken off their masks, wantonly and crazy. I rented a small bungalow. The stairs were steep and narrow, and it was quite difficult to carry the box.

I woke up after a night's sleep, opened the window and walked to the balcony. A ray of warm light shone on my face. In the early morning, I had a cup of soy milk and a rice ball. It was simple and delicious.

The area where the old bungalow is located used to be the neighborhood where the bank class lived, and the smoky gray exterior wall still has the charm of the past. I like the small kitchen here best. It is leaning against the blue wall and even washing dishes becomes a relaxing and fun thing.

[Travel Tips]

When parking late at night, thanks to the Haval Dog's L2-level automatic driving assistance system, you can park yourself with a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding space, saving yourself a lot of time from being nagging by the doorman.

? The huge retro headlight of the Haval dog has a tough and simple feeling

5. Long Art Museum: Trend and life are both art

This used to be the coal terminal in Shanghai Beach. Today, the coal funnel unloading bridge built in the 1950s still remains on the site.

When you come here on a sunny weekend, you will meet all kinds of skateboarder teenagers, fashionistas, and various photography enthusiasts.

The West Bank Camp opposite the Dragon Art Museum was demolished at some time, and the green space for camping and a playground where dogs could walk were also moved to the Dragon Art Museum. I don't know if it's because I drive a big Haval dog, but I will encounter dogs in various places in Shanghai. There are always many kegies, huskies, border herders, and Dharma fights. It's so healing.

Dragons are always crowded on weekends. In a city that emphasizes a sense of distance, you can still find the joy of being with people here.

Outside the Long Art Museum is the public space of all Lele. Walking inside, you will find a pure art museum that is unique and happy.

Recently on display here is Dior's "Dream Designer", which uses a new scene narrative to present the artistic passion that the brand has been adhering to for more than 70 years since its founding.

The exhibition starts at 30 Avenue Montaigne at the entrance, and each theme revolves around a classic element of Dior, such as Dior's classic suits, new styles, and love for world culture.

This wonderful journey that blends the past and the present will lead the audience to explore the elegance and dream-pursuing journey.

[Travel Tips]

Address: 210? Lane 2255, Luoshan Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai City

Tickets: 70 yuan/person. You need to make an appointment in advance. There are many people watching the exhibition on weekends. It is recommended to come in the morning.

Parking: Dragon Art Museum underground parking space, 12 yuan/hour

6. A billion-dollar retro warehouse: Break the status quo, one is innovation, and the other is retro

Reverse love is also a trend, but it is just a secret change in the time dimension.

Before leaving Shanghai, I went to a billion-dollar retro warehouse 30 kilometers away from the city center with the Haval Dog. This is a second-hand furniture warehouse covering nearly a thousand square meters. The owner, Double, is a combination of second-hand antique cars and modern medieval furniture buyers. In his view, new materials, Bauhaus and futuristic design are still timeless.

There are many sofas in the warehouse that are modified based on car body elements, which are also Double's treasures. Sitting on the car sofa and watching a movie feels like being in a drive-in movie theater.

All kinds of chairs are entry-level items here. They don't need to be designed by famous teachers, but they are comfortable and practical. A chair can also enhance the sense of interior design.

What I love most is a cash box from Germany. The thickness that only four adult men can lift brings back the authentic craftsmanship of Europe.

There is a dog called Sister in the shop. It lies on the ground so obediently that anyone can touch it. It is also an approachable dog.

[Travel Tips]

Address: No. 4221, Longwu Road, Minhang District, Shanghai City

Parking: There is an above-ground parking lot at the entrance of the warehouse, 5 yuan/hour

Traveling through the streets and alleys of Shanghai, in the blending of trendy places and retro customs, Shanghai's tolerant temperament of "embracing all rivers" gradually becomes clear.

Why do young people aspire to this city?

I think this is the answer.
