Prepare for boarding

This journey is a cruise tour organized by the company's group building event at the end of September 2019 ~

The itinerary is a 5-day and 4-night journey from Shanghai to Sasebo, Japan. The boarding point is at Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal. It was already past 1 o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived at the dock on the day of boarding. At that time, two cruise ships were parked at the dock. In addition to the Costa Venezia we were on, there was also a larger cruise ship-the Royal Caribbean Ocean Spectrum. The two cruise ships were parked in areas t1 and t2 of the dock respectively.

In order to facilitate security inspections, we first check the luggage in our hands. After receiving the printed ticket, we fold the last page and hang it on the luggage handle, and then go to the baggage check-in office to check it to the staff.

After checking in, you can go to the security inspection hall with your passport and ticket. The security inspection speed of cruise ships seems to be faster than that of ordinary outbound tourists. Before boarding, you can keep a Venice logbook in hand to learn about relevant activities in advance.

Reminder: You can search for "online boat value" on the mobile Alipay app in advance, which will be used for on-board tax/service fee payment and related consumption payment. Here, it is recommended to deduct the payment of on-board fees, and deposit the deposit before disembarking on the last day. Tourists with savings cards and cash need to queue up at the service desk to deduct the fees. The procedures will be very troublesome. If they fail to effectively clear their accounts, they will not be able to disembark, causing unnecessary trouble.

There is no network on board. To be precise, the network on board needs to be purchased for a fee. This should be what many people are most concerned about, but you can rest assured that the Wi-Fi on board can use Alipay unimpeded. Everyone boarding the ship has a room card corresponding to their own name. Our room card is placed on the table in the room and we will see it when we enter the room. Log in to the wifi on the cruise ship and use the QR code on the front of the Alipay house-cleaning card, and then use the barcode on the back of the house-cleaning card to bind Alipay.

The name of the Wi-Fi on the ship is Costa Venezia, and only Alipay can be used, so you can communicate with each other using Alipay.

At the same time, if you want to know the opening hours of each place and the specific conditions of various activities on board during the trip, you can use Alipay to scan the QR code on the front of the ship card to inquire. If you want to know the sunrise and sunset time, you can also scan it out to take a camera to shoot the sunrise. If you want to know the bill details, you can also scan the code and view it on the homepage.

If you want to use other apps, you can only purchase an online plan on the cruise ship. An account can only be logged in on one device at the same time, and you can connect to your mobile phone, computer and iPad. Therefore, if it weren't for the necessary network needs, using the ship's wifi to connect to Alipay can completely meet the basic needs. The most important thing is that before boarding the ship, you can open Alipay to add friends who need to contact each other, so that you will not lose contact.

Of course, cruise ships with pure Italian ancestry will not lack Italian elements anywhere. You can see murals of the Venetian landscape in the corridor, making people feel like walking on the streets of Venice.

The room I stayed in for this trip was a balcony triple room on the 6th floor. The balcony triple room has a 1.8m double bed and a single bed. There is a balcony outside with 2 recliners and a small coffee table.

The separate bathroom is close to the door of the room. The first thing we did when we boarded the ship to the room was to take a bath and change clothes. The hot water was very comfortable as soon as it was turned on. After taking a bath, lying on a balcony chair and enjoying the sea breeze, smoking, drinking tea and chatting and blowing the sea breeze are all good. There is a wardrobe in the room and many hangers in it, making clothes easy to hang, and the three suitcases can be easily stored. Regarding the sockets in the room, they also meet daily needs. On the table, there are two 120v ports for Japanese electrical appliances. One 220v and two usb ports can be used to directly charge electronic equipment. You can also use the converter to drag more.

When I entered the room that day, I saw a leaflet on the table. There is a boarding event at the Bellezza Spa on the 12th floor of the ship that day ~ But I didn't go to experience it, if you are interested, you can try it.

Every day when we go in and out of the room and pass through the aisle, he will greet us with a warm smile and have to call him! Don't rush around after bathing and changing clothes. The entire ship personnel follow the command and need to go to the designated floor to participate in emergency drills. The meeting place for each room is different. Depending on the floor code on the life jacket in each room, we went to the Phoenix Theater on the 4th floor. We walked down from the 6th floor to the 4th floor and were guided by staff to the theater. During emergency drills, you are not allowed to play with your mobile phone, nor are you allowed to take photos. Staff around you will repeatedly remind you to carefully watch the staff on the stage to practice wearing life jackets. You can disband after watching the drill ~

On the first day of boarding the cruise ship, the first thing you see is the third floor you actually go directly to. Before entering the room, there is a photo area in the lobby aisle. If you want to take photos, you can go to the photo pickup place near the Gondola Bar on the 5th floor and pay for your own photos.

St. Mark's Lobby feels beautiful when viewed from the 3rd and 5th floors, with a feeling of gold and silver. The service desks are all located on the third floor, and the shopping areas connecting the fourth and fifth floors are connected, so there are many tourists every day.

Regarding shopping on board, the duty-free shopping shops on the cruise ship are located on the 4th and 5th floors of the ship. There are tobacco, alcohol, cosmetics, clothing, bags and watches. During the few days of flight, we went to the cafeteria on the 10th floor most of the time, and the buffet place must have wasted food that is extremely unfriendly to some tourists, especially uncles and aunties. My favorite thing in the cafeteria on the 10th floor is all kinds of fried noodles with fried vermicelli, and the desserts inside are very good. Call me! Every time there is seafood, you can see groups of uncles and aunties serving seafood on two plates in each hand. Standing behind me, I said, is the food intake even more amazing than that of us young people? Wouldn't eating so much upset your stomach?

The Marco Polo Restaurant next to St. Mark's lobby on the third floor where we went for dinner on the first day of boarding the boat was actually similar to the food we had at the Lido Market Buffet on the 10th floor. It was nothing more than a buffet that turned into plates of dishes served by employees.

It is a place for a formal dinner, and the environment is naturally much better than a cafeteria.

The cruise ship departed from Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port and arrived at the Japanese port city of Sasebo the next day. Take the ship card, entry slip and a copy of the passport prepared in advance and disembark the ship in batches and pass through security checks and board the island according to the ship's arrangements.

Because it was a company group tour, everyone got off the boat and took a tour guide car for an hour and a half to Nagasaki first, and returned to Sasebo City in the evening.

Nagasaki Prefecture is located at the southernmost tip of Japan and the westernmost tip of Kyushu Island. It belongs to Kyushu in Japan. Nagasaki Port is a place frequently visited by domestic cruise ships to Japan. The first place we visited Nagasaki was Pinghe Park.
