The Huakai Marine Ecological Park is located on the west side of Zhujing Town, Jinshan District, Shanghai City, and adjacent to the beautiful Xiuzhou Pond in the north. It is a flower viewing theme park that integrates science popularization, display, and viewing. The park consists of four major parks: Huahai, Plum Garden, Aromatic Garden and Qiujing Garden. The sea of flowers is beautiful and magnificent, with small petals undulating islands with different postures. Flowers are in full bloom in spring and autumn, which is gorgeous and spectacular.

The sea of flowers consists of 19 petal-shaped islands, Huaxian Ridge, flower-filled slopes, flower dance, flower reflection groin and flower sleeves. The spring flower sea mainly includes more than 30 flower varieties such as Yu Mei, cornflower, dwarf snow wheel, high snow wheel, Xilongcao, Lu Binghua, and Mantianxing. The best viewing period is from mid-April to mid-May; In autumn, there are more than 10 flower varieties such as Gesang flower (Persian, Thihua chrysanthemum), ground skin, Mexican sage, Zinnia, Thousand Rihong, and sunflower.
