Journey to Shanghai
Time flies quickly. It has been two years since the last long-distance trip. In the past two years, I have experienced the repeated COVID-19 epidemic, and I have lamented the insignificance and value of life. In September this year, my little princess will be in first grade, so I plan to take her to Disney to realize her dream of a princess. This time we are a mother and daughter, and the romantic princess journey between the two girls has begun.
I didn't do many strategies, just briefly looked at it. Speaking of, the ticket price for this trip was a bit expensive. Because I frequently checked the weather in Shanghai, I changed my ticket once (which cost more than 300 yuan). I think the most strategies I did were to check the weather forecast. Haha... The first day we set off for Shanghai, the flight was delayed, and we finally arrived at Pudong International Airport at 2 p.m.. This was the first time that my 6-year-old princess and I traveled on a long journey alone, waiting for luggage time. The hotel's pick up driver called and contacted us.(There is a mistake here. From the moment the plane landed and taxied, there was an Anhui phone call that came in frequently. I thought it was an advertising phone, so I pressed it again and again. Finally, I received a call from the front desk of the Shanghai hotel, saying, Madam, our airport pickup master couldn't call you, but I instantly understood the Anhui phone number... haha) We chose Yunhe Yebo (Wildlife Park Store). I have to say that the service of this hotel is indeed very good and heart-warming. It is only more than 20 minutes 'drive from Pudong Airport to the hotel. It rained all the way and the temperature was right. When you stayed in the hotel, the hotel room facilities were mainly simple, and everything you saw was clean. After all, it was not a star-rated hotel. Don't ask for luxury. Quality service is better. Because it had been raining outside, my daughter and I didn't go out for a walk. We ate at the hotel at night. I would like to point out that the Chinese food in the hotel tasted very good, at least more suitable for the tastes of northerners. I like it very much. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Disney, Wildlife Park and the subway every day. The earliest shuttle bus from Disney in the morning leaves at 6:30, and the last one returns at 10:00 in the evening.
On the second day of my trip to Shanghai, I bought a Disney ticket and a morning Kaga guide from a certain treasure. The ticket should be cheaper than the official website. My morning card guide asked me to line up at the door at 6 o'clock at the latest. So I booked an express train to Disney in the morning. My mother and daughter went to bed after 8 o'clock that night, but I should not fall asleep until after 12:00. Haha, it was overcast the next morning. We left too early, and a lot of things in the hotel breakfast were undercooked, so we didn't pack. All the way to Disneyland for about 20 minutes, the guide is already waiting, I don't know how many families she took, that is, Wechat told me where to go and where to wait in line, and it began to rain before I entered the park. It seems that it didn't work for me to be a half-fairy for a long time, because all kinds of Disney tickets are non-refundable, so anyway, just go. As for the weather, it all depends on God. Raincoat and umbrella is a must. I forgot to explain that I was a trolley in a treasure rent. In fact, it was too big to make a cart when my daughter was more than 6 years old, but this had to be rented, and it was great not to take a child's bag. There was a cart in Disney, which was made of hard plastic, and it looked good. At that time, I kind of regretted it. But when I leave the garden at night, I suddenly think that it is too good to be in a certain treasure rent. I will talk about it in more detail later. The morning card entered the park an hour in advance, and the ticket was swiped by ID card directly. After entering the park, before I knew it, people began to run. I didn't have the physical strength. My daughter and I strolled slowly, when the guide Wechat sent us the address. Tell us where to go first, basically according to the address she gave us all the way, because my daughter is timid and afraid of loud voice. So we didn't brush many hot projects, and for this reason, I don't think there are many Disney people. Now I think we brushed the first project when we were still confused, seven dwarf roller coasters. I didn't expect to drill caves and open air. It was still raining at that time. Although it was a small roller coaster, I still had a little sense of weightlessness. My daughter was very scared. I didn't like that sense of weightlessness very much. So we told the tour guide that we gave up the stimulus project, so that we brushed the whole Disneyland as a gentle project, probably with one brush and two brushes together, we just brushed the project in the morning. Since 2: 00 in the afternoon, we have been mainly eating, resting, shopping and taking pictures. Because of the arrangement of the tour guide, after watching Princess Aisha, we went to the roadside of the float parade to occupy a seat. The time was just right. After the float parade, we followed the crowd to Disney town. Paper tickets must be kept and re-entered by ticket. Because I personally do not like western food and so on, so I chose the Disney small town era, with a 10% discount on tickets, the taste is good, the price is close to the people, and per capita is settled for dozens of yuan. I wanted to have a cup of happy tea, but we had to wait for 40 minutes. Mother and daughter couldn't accept it and gave up. My daughter just wants to go shopping, and she has no interest in brushing items. At the World Store in the town, my daughter chose the star deluxe, princess skirt, necklace and princess bag that she had in mind. If you have a tour guide when you check out, she probably has a 20% discount card, but our guide doesn't. I found a purchasing agent for a 10% discount, which is better than the original price. I had planned to book a trip to shoot before going to Disney, but I tragically forgot that I couldn't book it at all that day. In the afternoon, my mother and daughter took pictures near the castle. At more than 5 o'clock, we met a photographer who took some pictures of our mother and daughter under the castle. I finally made up for my regret a little bit. Talking about Disney's fireworks and light show in the evening, it was worth watching. I originally planned to go back, but my daughter said that she had never seen a real fireworks show, so we waited until 9:15 from 6 o'clock until 9:15. There should be tens of thousands of people sitting on the ground. I sat like that for three hours, because I wanted to occupy a seat, three hours for 15 minutes, . It was not easy to go out at the end of the fireworks show. The group turned back and moved forward quickly. At that time, my daughter was already dizzy. I pushed her forward rapidly. At this time, my advantage of not renting a car in the park showed. First, I went out of the park to return the car collectively. There were too many people. Second, there is still some distance from the park to the parking lot, one day in the middle of the night, at this time the children can no longer walk or fall asleep, there is a car simply happy do not want. My daughter fell asleep soon after she got to the car, and she couldn't wake up at all when she got to the hotel. This is something my daughter has never had before. She has been sleeping less, and there is nothing she can do about it. The waiter helped me carry things. I carried my daughter to the room all my life. This is definitely not a small test for me, and my strong physique also plays a decisive role.
This day at Disney was the hardest part of our trip to Shanghai, mainly because it was too early to enter the park. I personally think that if the child is too young, you should not buy an early admission card. If you like to play very much, just buy a two-day ticket and sleep until you wake up naturally. It won't be too hard. If you want to buy an early admission card, don't buy one with a guide. Just buy a separate early admission card. The role of a tour guide is to tell you where to queue, which has no practical significance. My little regret for myself is that I didn't go over the horizon because my daughter didn't accompany me.
On May 18, the third day of our trip to Shanghai, we slept until we woke up naturally. The hotel had breakfast. The hotel breakfast bar was a relatively standard hotel breakfast bar. We planned to have the Shanghai Wildlife Park on the next day. The hotel had a special bus or bus transfer. At that time, we chose to stay in Yunhe Night Park because the hotel is not too far away from Disney, Wildlife Park, and Haichang Ocean Park.
Shanghai Wildlife Park is a national 5A scenic spot. The scenic area is very large. Since it is Tuesday, the traffic is relatively small. My daughter and I rented a tandem bicycle when we first entered the park. We can ride it alone. I drove my daughter along various animal routes marked on the map and stopped and stopped. We fed almost all the animals that could be fed along the way. It should range from 20 to 40 yuan. It was good for children to have fun. We didn't watch the animal show because the time was not suitable. In the afternoon, we followed the park's free bus into the Beast Area. It took about four to five hours to take a quick look at the entire park. Today, I also arranged a project of my own, so I have to speed up the zoo appropriately. Of course, I can't tell my daughter about this. Haha... The one-day trip to the zoo ended with buying a plush doll for my daughter. After leaving the park, I took the bus to the subway and then took the bus to arrive at Shanghai Bester Shopping Village. This was a trick to trick my daughter into coming here. It can be said to be a trick. Hehe, there is nothing to introduce here, it is similar to other outlets, and the discount is just so normal. In order to reduce the burden, I sent the things I bought directly by express delivery. This was another hard day. It was past 7 o'clock when I returned to the hotel. I ate at the hotel and the taste was still great.
On the 19th, the fourth day of our trip to Shanghai, our goal was Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park. The reason why we chose this rather remote place was because my daughter wanted to see the killer whale she loved. The only one in the country is Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park. Except for the first day when we had to get up early to get the card to Disney, the rest of the time, my mother and daughter were without exception. Basically, we couldn't leave the hotel until 9:30. The hotel shuttle bus takes it to the subway entrance, and one more bus takes you directly to the gate of Haichang Ocean Park. Although it is far away from the city, the transportation is still convenient. I think the tickets to Haichang are quite expensive. We booked a parent-child ticket of 360. Recently, this ticket has changed every day. Friends who want to go can pay attention. When you enter Haichang Ocean Park, pay attention to the public account first. There are various performance times there. I personally think that except for the killer whale as the highlight, everything else is average. The first five rows of the orca show will get wet, wear raincoats and umbrellas, and queue up in advance. This is the only performer in the park who has more people. This is the first time I have seen a orca. I didn't know before that. There are also such marine animals, which can be regarded as a vivid marine animal lesson for myself. When the performance was coming to an end, we caught the third rain in Shanghai, but fortunately we had visited most of the park and watched the killer whale. Everything else could be ignored. We ate at the Penguin Restaurant, next to the Penguin Pavilion. The set meal tasted okay and the price was acceptable in the scenic area.
Today, we are changing hotels tonight. In the morning, we have packed our luggage and handed it to the Ctrip baggage housekeeper to deliver it directly to the next hotel, Shanghai Cambo Hotel (Bund Store). Our mother and daughter will transfer to the subway again. This time is quite long, because Haichang Ocean Park is still quite far away from the Bund. Fortunately, you can walk to the hotel in about ten minutes from the subway. There are some time-honored restaurants along Yunnan Road. I thought of coming and tasting it when passing by. But my daughter is a child who is not particularly interested in eating, so we basically didn't eat anything particularly special during the 7 days in Shanghai. For the special foods in the south, I personally don't like sweet and salty flavors, such as soup dumplings. I don't like eating them very much. Campo Hotel (Bund Store) is a hotel that has no surprises or surprises. Because the surrounding area of the hotel is included in the demolition scope, the residents have all moved away. It is quite quiet. Even a little scared when we come back at night, so my daughter and I basically never went out at night. In fact, the hotel is relatively close to the Bund, Nanjing Road, and the City God Temple, all within about 1.5 kilometers, but it has become relatively desolate due to the demolition. It turns out that this place should be all old alleys and an area with Shanghai characteristics. I don't quite understand why it should be demolished. The reason why a city has a heritage does not depend on the skyscrapers, but on the history of the city.
On the 20th, the fifth day of my trip to Shanghai, I still woke up naturally in the morning. Today, my daughter and I had to check in to the Natural History Museum and the Science and Technology Museum. Our transportation method was very casual, and we could use whichever was convenient. My daughter doesn't have tickets to either of these two places, and adult tickets cost 30 to 40 yuan, which is quite cheap. Especially the Natural History Museum, it is worth visiting. The younger children in the Science and Technology Museum don't understand it well, and I don't understand it. After the plan, the Science and Technology Museum ended, I went directly to the Oriental Pearl Tower. It started to drizzle and decided to go back to the hotel to rest. The subway entrance of Nanjing East Road is 1.1 kilometers away from the hotel. The light rain stopped, so I could just stroll around. I ate noodles on the way because my daughter was too picky about food and had no choice but to pick what she could eat.
On the 21st, the 6th day of my trip to Shanghai, I checked in today's City God Temple, Yu Garden, and Oriental Pearl Tower. It's about 15 minutes to stroll from the hotel to Yu Garden. I have been to the City God Temple Commercial District twice, but this is my first time to Yu Garden. It's a beautiful Jiangnan building. Although Suzhou was not arranged for this trip, Yu Garden just made up for the gap and allowed my daughter to see a more representative Jiangnan garden building for the first time. Although Yu Garden has a history of more than 400 years. But its charm remains. There is also a small water surface in the middle of Yu Garden. Walking on the stone bridge, golden carp are swimming in the water and there are many green plants. It is also a small oxygen bar. Traveling through it is like stepping into ancient times and enjoying a moment of tranquility and beauty.
In the afternoon, I made a reservation at Duoyun Academy in the Shanghai Center Building. After getting out of the subway, I saw the high-rise buildings in Pudong. When I looked up, I saw the "three-piece set", the World Financial Center-"bottle opener", the Shanghai Center Building-"egg beater", and Jin Mao Building-"syringe", I instantly felt dizzy. Duoyun Academy is located on the 52nd floor of the Shanghai Center Building, 239 meters above the ground, creating a unique aerial academy. It was supposed to be a great bookstore and coffee bar, with views of the Huangpu River and the Bund. Several landmark buildings in Lujiazui were also in front of the window. However, due to the superior geographical location and the spread of the Internet, most of the people who come are tourists, and few of them really want to read books. Of course, my daughter and I bought a cup of iced tea and a piece of cake. The reason why I didn't choose my favorite coffee is because I ate "Miss Fu in Chengdu" on the third day in Shanghai and suffered from stomach trouble at night. Therefore, in the last few days in Shanghai, I always chose lighter food. Duoyun Academy is divided into white study, black study and viewing area. You cannot enter the viewing area without consumption (Haowang South Corner and Haowang North Corner-enter with the receipt), one side faces the Huangpu River. It is crowded. Most of the time, there are no seats, especially a row of stools with extended windows. My daughter and I found two seats with no views to sit down and rest. I personally don't think there are any highlights in this trip. Maybe I don't like taking selfies so much. Maybe I am a little older, maybe my daughter is too young. Anyway, we don't feel anything. At the end of the auction, we still chose to climb the Oriental Pearl Tower. Perhaps it was a feeling. After all, the Oriental Pearl Tower was once a landmark building in Shanghai. It should still be a business card of Shanghai. It was once the first tall building in Pudong. Since the Oriental Pearl Tower was built in the 1990s, Shanghai's height has been refreshed. In the late 1990s, Shanghai Jinmao Building officially opened for business. It was once the tallest skyscraper in Shanghai. Now, in 2016, the Shanghai Center Building was completed. With a total height of 632 meters, it has become the tallest building in China and the second tallest skyscraper in the world. Standing on top of the Oriental Pearl, looking at the high-rise buildings in Pudong, looking at the world-class buildings in Puxi, and the ten-mile ocean market, I feel like I can see Shanghai a hundred years ago. Puxi is old Shanghai, which reminds me of Bailemen and Night Shanghai in TV and novels. Pudong, the new Shanghai, is booming, just like our country is refreshing its height every year. I didn't have any feelings when I climbed the Oriental Pearl two times, so it takes the precipitation of age and the accumulation of time to realize a city. We may have visited a city many times, but each time can give you a different experience.
After the Oriental Pearl Tower, my daughter and I took a ferry back to the Bund. The ferry cost was 2 yuan. Many people said that crossing the river by the ferry cost 2 yuan can experience sightseeing. Anyway, I didn't feel it. There are so many people, and there are no gaps near the windows. Haha, what can you feel? It's super cheap. Get off the boat, the Bund, the Wanguo Building Complex, and take a look at the Pudong "four-piece set" opposite. It is also excellent to blow the river breeze. My daughter wanted to take a cruise ship to tour the Huangpu River at night, so she booked a night flight at Shiliupu Wharf. She had to use a runner to get on the boat and take good seats. Haha, the sides of the Huangpu River at night are indeed beautiful, with neon flashing, and feel the charm of Shanghai.
On the 22nd, the 7th day of our trip to Shanghai and the last day of our trip, I plan to check in the Wukang Building and stroll around Nanjing Road. But our first stop was the site of the Second Congress of the Communist Party of China. 2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. Let my daughter feel the patriotic spirit. Although she doesn't understand it at all, she may have a little memory many years later. No matter how this tempting world changes, we are all under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Have a heart full of positive energy. Taking a bus across the entire Huaihai Road when you check in Wukang Building can be considered a car tour of Huaihai Road. Outsiders visit Nanjing Road, but most locals visit Huaihai Road. On Huaihai Road, every street view is a flowing picture full of the times. However, my daughter doesn't like to go shopping or anything, so it's good to enjoy it by car. The Wukang Building is 96 years old. In recent years, after the exterior was renovated, it has become an Internet celebrity check-in place. The Wukang Building was formerly known as the Normandy Apartment and was designed by Hungarian architect Hudec who lives in Shanghai. Among Shanghai's outstanding historical buildings, 25 were built by him. They were the first verand-style apartment building in Shanghai. Some people have verified that the Wukang Building was completed in 1925. At that time, the popularity and popularity of Wukang Building were not inferior to today's Oriental Pearl Tower. Opposite the south side of Wukang Building is Soong Ching Ling's former residence. I like these century-old buildings very much and hope they can be protected more and preserved. My daughter doesn't seem to be interested in these things. I also took my daughter to the Waibaidu Bridge. These are all my favorites. Hehe, the Waibaidu Bridge is a witness of the flow of Suzhou water into the Huangpu River. The life and circumstances of the Waibaidu Bridge can be traced through the entire modern history of Shanghai. Ferry VS Baidu. Simply put, the Suzhou River used to have no bridge. There were charges to cross the river by ferry. Later, the British built this highway bridge without charging, so they called it Waibaidu Bridge. Looking at Waibaidu Bridge up close is really not as good as it looks on TV, checking in to take photos.
I don't think I will come back again on Nanjing Road in the future. There's really nothing to visit. It's not as exquisite as Huaihai Road. There's nothing to recommend. We chose the time-honored brand Shen Dacheng for dinner. It was a huge pit. As a result, neither of us had enough to eat and we were still left behind. The taste was really not flattering. Return to the hotel.
On the 23rd, the 8th day, it rained in the morning. Is this to keep us? The high-speed train is after 11 o'clock, so there is no rush. I pack my luggage, wait for the reservation on the Didi Express after breakfast, and return to the high-speed train we chose. I have always been a little timid about flying. The turbulence is really uncomfortable. The hotel is 15 kilometers away from Hongqiao High-speed Railway Station, which is not far, and the road is smooth to the High-speed Railway Station. We ended our seven-night and eight-day trip in the rain. See you in Shanghai! I hope that my daughter will have the opportunity to study and work here many years later, and the future is promising!
The seven nights and eight days in Shanghai generally felt good. Food, accommodation and transportation were extremely convenient. After all, it was a first-tier city in China, and there were almost no inconveniences. Almost any destination can be reached by bus and subway. For buses, use the bus code in the Weixin Mini Programs, and for subways, download Metropolis. Try to choose Didi. It is more difficult to take a taxi. I would also like to mention here that no matter where you book any tickets, you must watch when the tickets will be issued. There are immediate and delayed ones, and you must watch the height standards of your children. In the past few days in Shanghai, I have seen many people being stopped at the ticket gate. Some tickets took 2 hours, and some were due to children's height problems. These affected the play time, mood and even the itinerary. If you can order online, you must order it. First, the price is relatively favorable, and second, you sometimes need to make an appointment during the epidemic. It is better to follow the general plan, especially when taking care of children. Convenience should be the first priority at all times. This was my first solo trip with my daughter, and it ended perfectly.
