Arriving at Anchang Ancient Town is already noon, which happens to be lunchtime. Since you have arrived at Keqiao, don't miss Ten Bowl Head.
Ten Bowl Head is a sumptuous dish that can only be eaten during festivals or festive occasions in the past. The ingredients in each household may be different, but they are all the most beautiful memories in the taste buds of the people of Keqiao.
In the ancient town of Anchang, there is a Ten Bowl Head Law Xing Ci She · Shu Cha Su Wu Lun, located near the river in the center of Anchang. The environment is simple and elegant, and there are authentic local dishes here.
As soon as this secret bar was placed on the table, it startled us. A whole piece of pork with bones and meat, with a bright red and oily color, and a fusion of meat and sauce aromas, making it incredibly tempting.
The method is also very particular. First, boil a whole piece of meat in clean water for two hours, then add a secret sauce and simmer. By the time it was served, the meat had already become crispy and tender, and with a gentle pinch of chopsticks, the bones and meat were separated. When eaten, it was fat but not greasy, soft and smooth. If paired with rice, it would be a rare delicacy in the world!
Jiangnan has many water towns, so there are also many fresh rivers, among which the most representative is river shrimp. Just a simple saltwater shrimp can fully showcase the fresh, sweet, and plump taste of the shrimp. The river shrimp is not very big, but very full. The tight and sweet shrimp meat is wrapped in the shrimp shell, which is bright red and tempting. Each bite is very satisfying to eat.
Baijiu Braised Chicken is a traditional dish in Keqiao, Shaoxing, and is also a must-have dish among the ten bowls. White croaker is a salted and dried product made from large yellow croaker, followed by the famous Yue chicken, which is steamed into a dish. The taste is salty, fragrant, and delicious. The fish is tight and salty, while the chicken is tender, smooth, and delicious. The chicken has the fragrance of the fish, and the fish has the freshness of the chicken. The two flavors blend together, making the salty and fresh taste mellow and delicious.
Rice covered with eggplant, this is a home cooked delicacy that the people of Keqiao have learned from snacks. In the past, in order to facilitate cooking, people put eggplant on rice when cooking. When the rice is cooked, the eggplant is also cooked. Then a simple sauce is mixed with eggplant, which is a delicious dish. This dish is simple to make, with a fragrance of rice and eggplant, making it the most common and beautiful dish for every Keqiao person.
Chicken hair vegetable clear soup with Mandarin fish, cooked with only water without any additional seasoning, preserves the freshness of the fish and the sweetness of chicken hair vegetable to the greatest extent. The method is simple, but the taste is not simple. The soup is fresh, tender, and the dish is delicious, and the original flavor is the most tempting.
There are also plum vegetables with meat in thick sauce, pickled Chinese cabbage with eel in thick soup with mild acid appetizer, delicious snow vegetables and river fresh with mushrooms, fresh and refreshing shallots mixed with tofu
Home cooked ingredients, or original or innovative methods, preserve the taste of the ingredients to the greatest extent possible, and every bite can be eaten with the full sincerity of the Keqiao people. You who came to Keqiao must not miss it.
After having lunch
Remember to take a stroll around Anchang Ancient Town
Here are the most authentic human fireworks in the writings of Lu Xun in Old Shaoxing
Anchang Ancient Town is one of the four famous ancient towns in Shaoxing. This time, I came here with friends and fell in love with it completely!
Anchang Ancient Town is an oval shaped town that is 2 to 3 kilometers long. A river runs through the center of the town, and on both sides of the river are the main streets, scattered with unique Jiangnan residences. There are various local specialties on the main streets, which are worth visiting. The ancient town is a typical Jiangnan water town scenery, and there are not many tourists. The entire ancient town is very quiet, and everyone is leisurely
The small bridge spans, the tree shadows are sparse and clear, and the clear water is flowing. Slowly strolling through the streets of the ancient town, stepping on stone slabs and crossing small bridges, slowly experiencing the human fireworks of the ancient town.
When you're tired of walking, you can find a stool to sit down on, or take a photo at the corner. There are too many places worth watching carefully here. Don't worry, take a slow stroll and take a closer look, appreciate the mottled marks on the wall, feel the shimmering water waves, and experience the slow time of Anchang Ancient Town.
You can also sit on a gently swaying rocking boat and walk on the river, watching the houses on both sides row by in front of you, feeling the bustling noise of the people on both sides. It's so comfortable.
Besides playing, there are also important things to eat and don't forget. There are many specialties and snacks in the ancient town, some of which are intangible cultural heritage. Here, you can enjoy the traditional cuisine of Keqiao.
Firstly, there are various types of preserved meat, with sausages, preserved duck, and preserved meat all along the street... Rows of preserved meat hang in front of shops by the river, which is very spectacular. Walking on the old street, the aroma of cured sauce wafts in, it's really so fragrant! And it's not expensive to buy cured meat here. Cured quails cost 20 yuan and 8 yuan, and cured ducks cost 100 yuan and 3 yuan, which is too affordable!
Pumpkin flower is a famous snack in Keqiao, Shaoxing. Don't miss it when visiting Anchang Ancient Town!
The mold for making pumpkin flowers weighs an actual kilogram, but the master still uses it skillfully. He first brushes oil on the mold, drizzles a layer of batter, then holds the mold and shakes it to evenly spread the batter. When the batter is slightly cooked and solidified, he wraps it with bean paste filling and a new layer of batter, and finally sprinkles a layer of white sugar and sesame seeds. The entire process takes about ten minutes, and the mold is lifted several times to make the pumpkin flowers.
Finally, use a small shovel to separate the connected pumpkin flowers, which look just like their names, like blossoming pumpkin flowers. Freshly baked pumpkin flowers should be eaten while they are hot. Bite open the crispy outer layer, which contains a sweet and soft inner layer, and then the delicate and sweet bean paste filling inside. The taste is distinct layer by layer, but they are all the same sweet and fragrant.
Pulling white sugar is an intangible cultural heritage delicacy in Keqiao Shaoxing, and it is also the sweetest snack remembered by generations. Cut into evenly sized candies, one by one, it contains both the sweetness of white sugar and the addition of light and fresh malt sugar, which is sweet but not greasy.
Wine making Mantou is also an intangible cultural heritage. This shop is in a courtyard facing the street, and the shop is not conspicuous, but Wang knows about it in the local filial piety shop.
There are many kinds of Mantou tastes, with or without stuffing. The first time I saw Mantou with stuffing, hahaha~freshly brewed wine made Mantou is plump, super cute, very soft, and has a light wine flavor, which is very delicious.
Yingao is a unique pastry from Anchang Ancient Town. The pastry is printed with different characters and has several different flavors. They all make and sell it freshly, remember to eat it while it's hot. It's soft, sticky, sweet, and delicious, not expensive.
There are all kinds of Stinky tofu, shredded radish cake, fried fish jerky, sausage, yellow rice wine and milk tea in the ancient town... I hate that I have too little appetite to eat so much delicious! However, there are also many specialties that can be packed and taken away. Remember to pack the Keqiao flavor and bring it home!
Keqiao Ancient Town | A Brilliant Night Like Poetry and Painting
When I arrived at Keqiao Ancient Town, it was already nightfall. I thought I would miss the beauty of Keqiao Ancient Town, but I was amazed by its night scenery.
The arched bridge lies horizontally, the water waves are gentle, and the long corridor is filled with smoke and rain. These scenes are even more gentle and affectionate under the light. The warm colored lights coated the ancient town with a gentle and charming veil. The small bridges, flowing water, roofs, and even every pedestrian passing by were covered in a faint warm light, making it even more gentle and affectionate. Under the night sky, the entire ancient town became even more intoxicating.
When you come to Keqiao Ancient Town, you must try the ice cream modeled after the landmark Rongguangqiao. The ice cream has various flavors such as original flavor, purple sweet potato, matcha, etc. It is fresh and sweet, very good. Before eating ice cream, remember to take a photo of the ice cream and the arch bridge.
If you're tired from browsing, you can also find a coffee shop to sit in. There is a Vila dessert shop in the ancient town that stands by the river, with a clean and elegant environment. Sitting here to have a dessert and a cup of coffee is a great choice.
Their desserts look great! Pudding shaped like a teddy bear, cake shaped like a teddy bear lying on the ground, cake shaped like clouds... each one is super beautiful, almost reluctant to eat it.
At night, you can choose to stay at the Jianhu Hotel in the Keyan Scenic Area next to the ancient town. The hotel is a combination of traditional Jiangnan courtyards, surrounded by mountains and water, with pink walls and Dai tiles, and the fragrance of birds and flowers. It is a garden style hotel with unique water town characteristics and Vietnamese customs. In the morning, you can also take a walk in the Keyan Scenic Area. Unfortunately, our itinerary was rushed and we left early in the morning.
After strolling around the ancient town of Keqiao, it was also dinner time, and we chose to have dinner at the treasure hunt in the ancient town.
Treasure Hunt is an old restaurant where Keqiao people have been eating for 17 years, specializing in making local dishes. The restaurant environment is very good, with pavilions, pavilions, small bridges, flowing water, and misty smoke, giving it a charming Jiangnan atmosphere.
Shao Bazhen, as the name suggests, gathers eight types of mountain delicacies of bamboo and the freshness of Jianhu. It is said that "Shao Bazhen" was created by the Southern Song Dynasty's Shaoji imperial chef and upgraded from Shaoxing's flagship dish "Shao San Xian". The whole dish is made by stewing eight ingredients, but each ingredient is well blended, with a delicious taste and rich broth. Only by eating can one know the fresh taste.
The river shrimp on the table here are lively and fresh, fresh and visible! After boiling, add water and cook for a few minutes. There is no need to add any special seasoning, only the fresh taste of river shrimp. The entrance is even more delicious, and the elastic and sweet shrimp meat needs to be boiled. The fresh juice flows into the mouth, making it unforgettable.
Shaoxing Keqiao is rich in yellow wine, so there are many dishes that are flavored with wine. As the saying goes, yellow wine intoxicates all things, and different ingredients can create different flavors. Shaoxing drunken shrimp is one of the best. Mix the homemade sauce with wine, then soak the shrimp in it. As soon as you serve it, you can smell the faint aroma of wine. When you eat it, the shrimp meat is full and the aroma is rich, making your fingers skip a beat.
In Keqiao, how can you avoid eating fennel beans? Order a dish of Kong Yiji fennel beans, which are fresh and refreshing, with a strong spicy aroma. At this time, have another pot of rice wine and drink it while tasting fennel beans. The more you taste it, the more addictive it becomes.
Snacks such as Stinky tofu and fermented glutinous rice cake should also be arranged. Fried Stinky tofu is a famous dish for thousands of years. It is crisp outside and tender inside, and tastes delicious when smelling stinky; The soft and glutinous rice cake is covered in crushed nuts and coated with brown sugar juice. It is soft, sticky, sweet, and delicious.
The crispy and fragrant bones, tender braised water chestnuts with water chestnuts, and pickled vegetables cooked with mixed vegetables in the store are all very good. Apart from Keqiao, Treasure Hunting has branches in many places in Shaoxing. If you want to eat authentic local dishes, you must go to Treasure Hunting.
In the Qiaobo Ice and Snow World of Shaoxing, not only can you ski to your heart's content, but you can also relax by reading books in the bookstore. Love Snow Time · Booka is a booka located at the entrance of Qiao Bo's Ice and Snow World. With a simple and elegant environment, warm lighting, and a plethora of books, staying here for an afternoon won't be boring.
I strongly recommend tasting the ice and snow themed desserts here. The desserts are made into various ice and snow shapes, so beautiful that you want to save them! There is also this coffee and cereal drink here, enjoying the afternoon here makes you feel warm and beautiful.
There are also many books related to ice and snow sports here, where you can learn a lot of knowledge related to ice and snow sports, which is both interesting and practical. Whether it's taking a break here after skiing or specifically enjoying afternoon tea time, it's all great.
At noon, I arrived at the Daxianglin Scenic Area, which is composed of Daxianglin, Longhua Temple, and Doulutian Palace. The entire scenic area is very large. Before visiting, of course, you must first eat the famous vegetarian vegetarian food here. Only when you are full can you have the strength to visit, hahaha.
The vegetarian restaurant is located on the second floor of Longhua Temple. With the ingenuity of the chefs, various common vegetarian ingredients have been made into exquisite and delicious dishes. The exquisite appearance and plate arrangement at the table are already surprising, and the dishes with a complete color, aroma, and taste are even more stunning when eaten.
When the cold dish came up, I was amazed. It was so exquisite, it was a work of art, and the taste was also great. It was refreshing and appetizing.
I used to eat bamboo sheng and water shield vegetable cups in Guangzhou before, and I fell in love with this dish at that time. I am so happy to have more authentic and delicious food here this time. Carrots are soft, bamboo shoots are slightly crispy, and water shield vegetables are tender and smooth. The soup base is fragrant and slightly sweet, and I particularly like the taste of water shield vegetables, like jelly. This is a very light yet unforgettable dish.
This hundred fruit flavored fried mushroom is too beautiful. The mushrooms are fried slightly yellow and neatly arranged on the quinoa, like small flowers blooming on a plate. The taste is exceptionally delicious.
I'm not telling you, you must think it's made of abalone or meat, right? In fact, this is fresh shiitake mushrooms brewed in golden soup, with pumpkin golden soup as the base. Mushroom brewed with vegetables is the top choice, and the fresh taste of mushrooms is paired with the sweet aroma of pumpkin soup. The taste is as delicious as imagined.
Friends who love to eat yam should not miss this dish of yam fried morel mushroom. Yam can nourish the spleen and stomach, and morel mushroom is rich in amino acids and vitamins. It is perfect for consumption during this season.
,
How can you come to this place with beautiful mountains and rivers without eating the mountain delicacies here! Yam, water chestnuts, corn, sweet potatoes, chestnuts, peanuts... are all ordinary ingredients, but they are different from what we usually eat, with a unique and delicious taste, carrying the atmosphere of nature.
There are too many beautiful and delicious vegetarian dishes, such as braised tofu with sauce, crispy apricot slices and rotten skin buns, stewed bamboo swallow with papaya... Most of them are fresh, refreshing and clean, carefully made, rich in nutrients, and have a unique taste. When visiting here, you must try them.
The Kuaiji Mountain Longhua Temple is a complex of buildings that rise from the mountain. The magnificent buildings with red courtyard walls and golden roofs are located in the midst of the mountains, layered and pure, solemn, and magnificent. This is currently the largest single royal style Buddhist temple in China. Visitors need to start from the outermost layer, pass through the layers of the main hall of Longhua Temple, and admire the purity and solemnity of Longhua Temple one by one.

Under the blue sky, the white White Marble building is magnificent and beautiful, just like the pure land of Buddhism. Here, start a journey of purification. With a sincere heart, climb 138 steps and look up at the solemn dome. Walking on the White Marble steps and watching the magnificent buildings standing under the blue sky, people can fully feel its magnificence.
Under the pure contrast of blue and white, the photo is very beautiful. Whether you are leaning down on the railing, walking on the stairs, or casually walking in the square, it looks very beautiful with just one snap. However, please note that when visiting here, try to take photos in a quieter voice and avoid making noise.
The Daxianglin · Doulutian Scenic Area is divided into three parts: Daxianglin, Longhua Temple, and Doulutian Palace. The scenic area has shuttle buses traveling between the three attractions, while Daxianglin is located at the foot of the mountain.
The environment inside the scenic area is very good, with lush green trees and fresh air. The warm sunlight in early winter shines through the shade of the trees on the ground, making it warm and warm. Strolling through it, breathing in fresh air, listening to the pleasant bird songs, watching colorful oil paper umbrellas hanging in the sunlight of green trees, my mood couldn't help but soar with joy.
Here is a community of ancient osmanthus trees planted in the Song Dynasty, vast and lush. Among them is one osmanthus tree, which is thousands of years old and is known as the "King of Chinese Osmanthus". The ancient osmanthus tree cluster, composed of numerous thousand year old osmanthus, stretches for miles and is magnificent. Under the shade of trees, it has become an entertainment destination for the general public and tourists. The elderly dance and sing in groups, while children go on autumn outings together, forming a vibrant scene with the ancient osmanthus tree.
At present, it is the season when osmanthus flowers are in full bloom. Layers of osmanthus flowers cluster among the green leaves, either light yellow or golden. The fragrance of osmanthus flowers can be heard from afar, and people can walk under the osmanthus tree, and may even be covered in small and lovely osmanthus flowers.
In autumn, when you come to Daxianglin, not only can you sit under the millennium old osmanthus tree, drink tea, chat, run and play, but you may also see your grandmothers making osmanthus cakes under the osmanthus tree. Hot water scalded noodles, sprinkled with osmanthus and white sugar, and then took a sip of the mold. One by one, osmanthus cakes with osmanthus patterns were born under the skillful hands of the grandmothers.
The osmanthus cake here is very famous, soft, sticky, fragrant and sweet, with the fragrance of osmanthus. Friends who come here must not miss it.
In the valley of Keqiao in Shaoxing, there is a millennium old ancient temple hidden - Yunmen Temple. Yunmen Temple was first built during the Eastern Jin Dynasty (407 AD) and is one of the oldest temples in China.
The previous abbots of Yunmen Temple were all famous monks at that time, and it was also an ancient temple created by many ancient poets. Du Fu once wrote a poem for Yunmen Temple, "If you are in the Ruoye River and Yunmen Temple, why am I alone in the mud? From then on, green shoes and stockings began." In addition, poets such as Song Zhiwen, Sun Miao, and Meng Haoran have all left poems for Yunmen Temple.
Next to Yunmen Temple is the former residence of Wang Xianzhi. When Wang Xianzhi lived in seclusion here, it attracted countless literati and scholars to come.
Pingyang Temple, also known as Chuandeng Temple, is located at the foot of Hualu Mountain at the source of Ruoye River.
Our encounter with Pingyang Temple was full of surprises. When we arrived at Pingyang Temple, it was already sunset, and the sunset in the sky reflected the golden walls of the courtyard, which was particularly beautiful.
But when the temple gate was closed and we thought we couldn't enter the temple for sightseeing, our friends discovered that the back door of Pingyang Temple could be accessed. When we entered through the back door, we stumbled upon a peaceful scene where the monks of Pingyang Temple exchanged and self studied. Perhaps this is our fate with Pingyang Temple.
Here, the temples are towering, the towers are unique, the trees are lush, and the glass flying eaves on the eaves of the pavilion are exquisitely carved. Copper wind chimes are hung under the corners of the copper hall eaves, and a gentle breeze blows, creating a serene sound. In the twilight, the swaying wind chimes are full of Zen meaning.
At this moment, it was a busy time inside the temple. The volunteer aunties were busy fasting, and the monks rushed back and forth. In front of the solemn and grand hall and square, the monks in various colored robes rushed back and forth, creating a contrast with the quietly standing temple, which had a unique Zen atmosphere. There is also a dog named "Lianchi" in the temple, which walks slowly after the monk and is very gentle and lovely.
Keqiao Pingshui Town is an important node in the Tang poetry road in eastern Zhejiang. As a local, the famous patriotic poet of the Southern Song Dynasty, Lu You, left behind nearly a hundred poems in Pingshui. When you come to Pingshui, you have to try the "Lu You Poetry Banquet". Each dish is like a poem, and behind each dish's name, there is a intricate line of poetry. Not only are you eating the dishes, but you also have the charm left by the ancients in Pingshui.
"Zizheng Kan Cui Crab Zhengfei" comes from "On the Ruoye River", which is a river delicacy from Kuaiji Lake. Now is the time when crabs are full of fat, and the main ingredient of this dish is crabs. The plump crabs are filled with crab roe, and the meat is tender and delicious. Every bite is a gift from nature.
Yexi fish stew, named "Tong Er Chong Yu Shou Yu Net", originated from Lu You's "From Yunmen to Taoshan". As the name suggests, this is a dish of river shrimp, mixed fish, turtles, and many other river delicacies gathered together. The chef has processed this mixed fish stew very well, without smelling any fishy smell, leaving only a fresh taste. The river shrimp is sweet, the mixed fish is tender, and the turtles are bouncy. Each bite is different in freshness and deliciousness.
This Song family restaurant's fragrant taro is named "Taro Grits Soup Fragrant Embracing Stove". It comes from "On the 28th of the first lunar month, heavy snow passes through the Ruoye River to the Yunmen Mountain". In addition to the taro, there are also rotten skin, and the taro is soft and sticky. Eating it in the mouth, it seems to see the scene of heavy snow outside the house, and Lu You leaning on the fire to eat the fragrant taro inside the house.
"Oh my god, the missing dan chicken" couldn't help but smile at the name, as if seeing a regretful scene of a chicken that missed the announcement. This dish is named after "Returning to the Old" and uses the Mein Bamboo Forest chicken. The whole chicken is baked in a clay pot, with an attractive color and a fragrant aroma. The whole chicken is very soft and blue, and with a gentle clip of chopsticks, it opens. The chicken skin is oily and fragrant, and the chicken is tight and tender. How could a single fragrant word be enough!
I really like this dish of "fish leaping in the stream", which is taken from "Memories of the Yunmen Temples". This dish of "Little Shunjiang Big Fish Head" is made by pairing fresh fish heads with seasonal fresh winter bamboo shoots and other seasonings, and steaming them in a pot. The whole dish perfectly interprets the artistic conception of fish leaping in the Linjian River. Among the various side dishes, fish heads are faintly visible, just like fish heads accidentally jumping out of the river, lively and lively. The strong aroma of fish soup mixed with the refreshing aroma of winter bamboo shoots, captivating the taste buds, this is the freshness of plain water!
"Slightly thin and creamy all over," from "Siyunmen", using a variety of horizontal salty cured meat platters, such as cured meat, cured duck, and cured chicken, thin but not greasy, fragrant but not greasy, full of salty fragrance, eating all kinds of cured meat from Keqiao in one dish.
This dish is from "Where the Cloud Gate Passes the Mountain" and uses Pingjiang local pork. It has a bright and tempting red color, with a combination of fat and lean meat. It melts on the palate and is sweet and soft, making it suitable for all ages.
The name "Xuan Bon Xin Huo Shi Xin Cha" is derived from "Yun Men Dao Zhong". Fried river shrimp is even more crispy, and when stir fried with tea leaves, it is fresh and sweet with the fragrance of tea leaves. Take one bite at a time, without even spitting out the shell. You can also try tea leaves. After cooking, the tea leaves are fragrant, crispy, and have a unique taste.
In addition, there are a total of 19 dishes at the Lu You Poetry Banquet produced by the Pingshui Encounter Ecological Park, each of which corresponds to a unique and picturesque poem by Lu You. The ingredients for these dishes mostly come from the local area of Pingshui, emitting a strong "Pingshui flavor" and the poetic and picturesque atmosphere left by ancient people in Pingshui.
After a poetic dinner, I stayed in the Pingshui Encounter Ecological Park on the spot.
The rooms here are small courtyards, with small wooden doors, wooden railings, and winding paths, each exuding a graceful and beautiful atmosphere. The room also has a simple and elegant style, giving people a homely warmth.
The Pingshui Encounter Ecological Park utilizes the abandoned breeding farm houses and beautiful natural environments such as mountains, water, fields, gardens, and forests to create an ecological agricultural park that integrates functions such as ecological pastoral experience, leisure tourism, sightseeing, vacation, health, and livability. The entire park gives people a serene beauty of rural mountain living.
Inside the ecological park, there are also many amusement facilities such as a live CS base, go karts, rainbow slides, cute pet parks, trampoline slides, etc. Here, you can ride horses and archery, engage in parent-child farming, barbecue and picnics, tent camping, and more. With a variety of gameplay options, it is a great place for team building gatherings and weekend trips.
The last day at Keqiao was on the 25th day of the ninth lunar month. It was said that it happened to be the annual Shun Wang Temple Fair. We rushed to Wangtan Town early in the morning to attend a lively Shun Wang Temple Fair.
The street in front of King Shun Temple is bustling with temple fairs and markets. Villagers come from all directions, either riding bicycles or motorcycles, and there are also people walking to attend the temple fair. The elderly carry baskets, middle-aged people lead children, and young people invite friends to accompany them. Everything from clothing, food, housing, and transportation can be found in the temple fair market, and every stall is crowded with people, making it extremely lively.
At the temple fair market, a series of folk activities such as offering sacrifices to Shun, playing games, and shopping are held together. Numerous daily necessities that benefit the people are sold. Here, you can see the elderly sitting on the ground trying on shoes, and the children sitting in the back seat of their grandmother's tricycle holding balloons... Each scene vividly showcases the customs and atmosphere of the King Shun temple fair, and every moment is filled with healing fireworks.
On the Shunwang Temple Square, there is also a special performance for traditional Chinese opera. The Shaoxing Local Quyi, Yue Opera Zhezi, and Song and Dance performances take turns and are welcomed by tourists and the people. The audience is filled with enthusiastic applause from time to time.
Compared to the hustle and bustle outside, the temple of King Shun appears particularly clean. Entering the Shun King Temple, the courtyard is lush and tranquil, with vivid woodcut reliefs on beams and columns. The swaying shadows of trees outside are revealed through the lattice windows. The entire temple is lush with bamboo and lush green grass, creating a serene atmosphere.
In front of a corner door, I stumbled upon a pair of grandparents. Outside the door, the trees were lush, and inside the door, the winter sun was warm. They stood hand in hand at the door, feeling calm and peaceful. It was the deepening warmth left after time passed.
Shicangshan Hidden Homestay is located in Daqiao Village, Jidong Town. It is built by the river and backed by mountains and rivers, with beautiful mountains and rivers and an elegant environment. It is known as the "Immortal Residence" by people. However, we come here for the delicious food of the "Immortal Residence".
The exhaustion of the day has been cured by this chicken soup. To be precise, it is a chicken pot. The chicken soup is clear and delicious, and the chicken is firm and tender. A bowl of chicken soup warms the stomach and brings satisfaction to the heart.
Why not try the famous amaranth stem tofu when you come to Keqiao, Shaoxing. Mouldy amaranth stem, as a long-standing delicacy, is cooked with tender tofu. Some people find it smelly, while others find it strangely fragrant. I think it is "smelly", tender, smooth, and incredibly delicious, making it the perfect match for white rice.
The most tempting thing on the table is stewed pig feet. The shiny brown red color is very appetizing, and it has a slight sweet aroma when eaten. The pork is soft, rotten, and the pig skin is soft and sticky, fat but not greasy, and extremely delicious.
The fresh river food here in Keqiao, Shaoxing is really delicious. I have eaten a lot of river shrimp and fish in the past few days, and I couldn't help but order river shrimp and fish heads. This time it's soy sauce river shrimp, which is the first time I've tried it. The fresh sweetness of the river shrimp and the sauce aroma blend together, creating a strange and delicious taste; Fish head, on the other hand, is a dish made with pickled vegetables, as always delicious.
The products in the restaurant are all very good, they are all home cooked delicacies, but they are full of color, aroma, and a sense of home flavor. Here, you can enjoy the comforting home flavor of Shaoxing Keqiao.
I had eaten Chinese torreya a long time ago and was curious about this rare tree species. This time, I finally have the opportunity to witness the entire Chinese torreya forest. The Millennium Torreya Forest Park includes three administrative villages, including Zhan'ao, Chencun, and Shi'ao, with a total area of 3368.7 hectares. As soon as you step into it, you can see lush contiguous Torreya forests.
The cultivation history of Chinese torreya in the park has been over 1500 years, with 113 ancient Chinese torreya tree clusters, including more than 23000 Chinese torreya trees over a hundred years old. It is an important global agricultural cultural heritage. It is said that the Chinese torreya king in the core area of the park has been around for more than 1500 years and is known as the "millennium living fossil", among which other Chinese torreya trees. The age of trees is either 700 or 900 years, which is truly amazing.
The Chinese fir forest is vast and continuous, with winding stone paths up the mountain under the trees. The path is particularly quiet against the backdrop of tall Chinese fir trees. Walking in the forest, the winding paths lead to seclusion, with green shade blocking the sun and lush trees. Occasionally, birds chirp, and as you walk through it, all you can see is greenery, and every pore exudes comfort.
It takes 29 months for Chinese torreya to mature from flowering to fruiting, lasting for three years. It is common to see strange scenes of new flowers and ripe fruits gathering together on Chinese torreya trees, but we arrived late. The ripe Chinese torreya has been picked, and only flower buds and tender fruits are left on the tree tops.
However, there is a stall selling Chinese torreya under the ancient tree, which looks like a hazelnut and is about the size of an almond. Peeling off the slightly hard shell produces delicious fruit kernels, with a crispy taste and a special aroma. The more you eat, the more fragrant it becomes.
