Preface
Shangyu is a city that I can say is very familiar with. It is less than a hundred miles away from Hangzhou, and it is very convenient for self driving or high-speed rail travel. I no longer remember coming here a few times. I thought every time I came here, it was like revisiting my hometown, but Shangyu always presents me with scenery and journey that I have never seen before. Perhaps this is the unique charm of this city. This time I came to Shangyu again, walked into this beautiful small town on the Ningshao Plain, and felt the thousands of scenery and delicious food here.

Day 1 saw Yucheng for the first time, wandering with the sky and clouds
When I first met Yucheng, I didn't have much knowledge about this city adjacent to Hangzhou, only knowing that it has the hometown of Chinese grapes - Gaibei. As the journey of four days and three nights officially began, I also learned about this unknown and beautiful small town from one place after another
Zhujiazhuang is the first stop of my journey. The Zhujiazhuang Scenic Area, also known as Zhufu, is located on the south slope of Wulong Mountain. In front of Zhufu Square, the exterior walls with Ming and Qing Dynasty style layout and blue bricks and Dai tiles make this place look particularly antique. Walking along the main entrance into the mansion, the walls of the corridors on both sides are adorned with ancient bronze reliefs, showcasing scenes from the stories of Liang and Zhu, such as studying in disguise, worshipping on a grass bridge, seeing each other off on the 18th, meeting on the towers, and sacrificing graves to transform into butterflies.
Zhu Yingtai and Liang Shanbo, this poignant love story that we have been exposed to since childhood, Zhu Mansion is one of the very important locations in this story. The entire Zhufu Mansion consists of three main buildings: the front hall, the Yuanwai Building, and the Yingtai Building, as well as ancillary buildings such as the study, Wenxin Garden, stage, and rockery. The style and layout of these buildings fully reflect the characteristics of the Wei and Jin dynasties. The front hall of Zhu Mansion is a place for worshipping and welcoming important guests. The middle one is Mr. Zhu, and the left one is a technician. He is an important pianist who plays for important guests when they come to the Zhu Mansion.
Passing through the quaint and elegant winding corridor, we arrived at the backyard of Zhufu, where the Yingtai Tower is located. Yingtai Tower is an important living place for the protagonist Zhu Yingtai in the story of Liang and Zhu, and it is also the place where the most touching scene in the legend of Liang and Zhu - the "Tower Meeting" story takes place. The second floor of Yingtai Building is the living room and study of Zhu Yingtai, and it is also the location of the event. The wax statues of Zhu Yingtai and Liang Shanbo stand in the center, with lifelike shapes and the unique attire of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, giving this place a strong sense of authenticity.
I thought Zhu Mansion was just a small mansion, but I never expected that the entire Zhu Mansion would cover nearly 20000 square meters. After strolling around, it was time for lunch. Adjacent to the Zhu Mansion scenic area is a good specialty restaurant - Zhu Mansion Restaurant, with classical style decoration and delicious Shangyu cuisine.
If it is the most common specialty dish in Shangyu, then stewing three fresh dishes is definitely one of them. You will find that this dish is almost a recommended specialty dish for every restaurant. When I only heard the name of this dish, I thought there were only three kinds of raw materials for this dish. When the dishes were served, I found that this dish was so rich in ingredients, from fresh vegetables to shrimp Rice-meat dumplings.
Shangyu, located in the eastern part of Shaoxing, adjacent to the estuary of Hangzhou Bay, will become the most delicious delicacy on the local dining table with the end of the fishing ban in the East China Sea. In order to taste the purest and most delicious seafood, steaming is the most popular method among all seafood dishes, such as steamed shrimp.
Zao Li Lake is unfamiliar to many people, and I am no exception. When it comes to lakes in Hangzhou and its surrounding areas, many people think of West Lake or Qiandao Lake. However, this relatively unknown Zaoli Lake possesses both the beauty of West Lake and the grandeur of Qiandao Lake, and this is the Zaoli Lake surrounded by mountains on three sides. The Zaoli Lake has a water area of over 2300 acres and is known as the "largest lake in Shangyu". It is like a brilliant pearl embedded in this beautiful land, and its enchanting lake and mountain scenery make people fascinated.
Although Zaoli Lake has beautiful mountain and water landscapes, it is unknown to outsiders, like a secret place hidden among mountains that has not been discovered by people. In Shangyu in August, the rainy season has passed, and the clear blue sky and white clouds have become frequent visitors here. The lotus leaves on the lakeside sway with the gentle breeze. At this moment, I am searching for memories of the past in my mind, wanting to choose a poem that can admire the scenery before me, but I find that none can depict the beauty of the lake and mountains in front of me.
Walking along the sightseeing trail, there are pavilions, pavilions and towers standing by the lake, and there are covered bridges arch of wooden architecture across the lake. The hills in the center of the lake are well arranged, and the mountains are flat and open. There are eight excellent scenic spots, such as Dudun Night Rain, Guo Tomb Spring Cloud, and Xitang Evening View. Many poets and scholars have chanted the elegance, which has always been known as "the scenery is like Qiandao Lake, and the beauty is like the West".
The history of Zaoli Lake is very long, and it is surprising that such a large lake is not a natural lake, but was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, with a history of more than 1300 years. The old Zaoli Lake, located in the western suburbs of the old county seat, was known for its beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains. Coupled with the songs of many literati, it was also known as the "West Lake" of Shangyu.
Although the current Zaoli Lake has lost its former glory, it will surely become even more unforgettable in the near future. Due to its beautiful scenery and profound cultural heritage, a new type of tourist area is about to be built here, and this Seventeen Arch Bridge is part of it. The Seventeen Arch Bridge, with a total length of 180 meters, is even longer than the Seventeen Arch Bridge in the Summer Palace, named after its seventeen arches.
When the sun sets from the west, the long lost sunset also makes the blue night sky look beautiful. In the night, there is a place in the small town that should have been peaceful but bustling, and this place is the Chinese Xiaode Garden. Because every Friday, there is a bustling cultural and tourism street night market here. The night market is located on a cultural and tourism street with a strong flavor, so it is named the Culture and Tourism Street Night Market.
At the beginning of the night, with the lights on and the cool breeze blowing, one after another shops lined up along both sides of the Fengqing Street. Countless tourists, like me, enjoyed the feast of cultural and delicious food under the night sky. Cultural and creative products, agricultural products, seasonal immortal fruits, and agricultural and sideline specialties are stimulating the taste buds of citizens and tourists, and also awakening the comfortable nightlife of Shangyu, the best leisure town in China.
This is a paradise for literary and artistic young people, always able to find the heart of love that cannot be put down; This is a gathering place for craftsmen, gathering famous craftsmen from Yucheng; This is the dream land of foodies, where you can taste countless unique delicacies. The Fengqing Street Night Market is based on 16 venues, including the Township Characteristic Hall, the Agricultural Second Party Alliance Hall, the Datong E-commerce Hall, the Group Cultural and Creative Hall, and the Most Beautiful People Hall. It has opened six characteristic exhibition areas, including the Intangible Cultural Heritage Market, Delicious Market, Cultural and Creative Market, Four Seasons Immortal Fruit, Cultural Memory, and Special Exhibition.
I thought it was just a hundred meter long night market street, but what I didn't expect was that after strolling for an hour, I still couldn't finish, and I had to marvel at the richness of the night market on the street. The most attractive part of the entire night market to me is the delicious market near the entrance of Xiaode Garden. Here, there are on-site made printed cakes and specialty steamed buns, which look novel and taste delicious. The flowers sparkle with lights, neon lights flicker, and people come and go, as if they have entered a fairyland by mistake. Beautiful fairy tales are becoming a reality. There is also a rich variety of delicious food here, and visitors come and go to taste a variety of delicious food from all over the world under the floral lights, with a satisfying sense of happiness beyond words.
Day 2: Following Tang Poetry, Searching for a Different Zhejiang East
The pursuit of ancient literati and literati was to aspire to and enjoy the scenery. They indulged in the scenery and continued to move forward on the path of pursuing it, leaving behind beautiful poems. So whenever we mention a mountain, the first thing that comes to our minds is these poetic lines. When it comes to Mount Lu, it is like the saying "The flying stream descends three thousand feet, and it is suspected that the Milky Way has fallen into the nine heavens."; When Mount Huangshan is mentioned, it will be the saying "After seeing Mount Huangshan, there will be no mountains in the world". And Dongshan, it's hard for you to think of a single poem to describe it, because there are so many poems and essays praising it.
Climbing up the stairs and entering the Tai Fu Temple, this is the first stop of our Tang poetry tour in Dongshan. It is also the best place to learn about the glorious history of Xie An and the Xie family. The long corridor connecting the main hall to the main entrance displays one after another of the famous Xie family members. Walking along the corridor, I can feel the profound cultural heritage of this family.
1800 years ago, Xie An's grandfather Xie Heng discovered such a beautiful landscape belt. He moved from Dakang in Henan to Nanjing in Jiangsu to Dongshan in Shangyu, Zhejiang and settled here Generation after generation, the renowned Xie family has built magnificent estates in the mountains and by the river. For over 1400 years since the Eastern Jin Dynasty, this place has always been a place for poets and scholars to visit, and it is a node on the Tang Poetry Road by the Cao'e River.
On the other side of Dongshan Mountain, there is also a place that attracts countless cultural figures to come here - the Tomb of Duke Xie. The first half of Xieyanmu consists of a memorial archway, a Shinto, a screen wall, a mythical beast, etc. The first thing to see is a four pillar, three door, soaring granite memorial archway. The inscription on the archway is "the Shinto of the Grand Master Xie Wenjing of the Jin Dynasty" and "the famous men of the Jin Dynasty". Behind the memorial archway is a Shinto that leads directly to the tomb of Xieyan. There are many divine beasts hidden among pine and cypress trees beside the Shinto, including stone horses, stone dogs, stone tigers, and stone sheep, representing loyalty, righteousness, integrity, and filial piety. Passing through the Stele Pavilion, you can see the tomb of Xie An. In front of the tomb stands a stone tablet with the six characters "The Tomb of Xie Gong, the Grand Tutor of Jin" engraved on it.
Shangyu has a long cultural history. During the Neolithic period, ancestors had already been fishing, animal husbandry, and farming here, leaving behind many relics to this day. The Fenghuangshan Archaeological Site Park is one of them. Fenghuangshan Archaeological Site Park is located on the eastern foot of Fenghuang Mountain in Dashan Xiaowu Village, Shangpu Town, Shangyu District. It is the first celadon themed cultural tourism park in Shaoxing City.
Although it is an archaeological site, the natural scenery here is indeed incredibly beautiful. The emerald green lake surface is like a mirror, reflecting the lush forests by the lake. The park takes porcelain as its soul, folk customs as its roots, and countryside as its foundation. It is an ecological and cultural tourist destination that integrates cultural research, popular science education, and leisure and recreation.
Take a sightseeing bus to the Forbidden Mountain Kiln in the park, which is a site located in a forest. In order to better protect this site, the park has built a huge bamboo canopy above the site, like a giant bamboo dragonfly lying on the ground. Here, along the constructed walkway, you can get a close-up view of these ancient ceramics from thousands of years ago and the entire kiln site.
Adjacent to the Phoenix Mountain Ruins Park is a museum known as the "Source of Porcelain". Upon entering the museum, the first thing that catches our eye is a documentary about porcelain, which introduces the development history of Shangyu porcelain and the changes it has brought to China's porcelain development.
The entire museum is divided into several exhibition halls based on different themes, from the origin of porcelain, to the production process of porcelain, and then to the development process of porcelain. In order to provide tourists with a more intuitive experience, each exhibition hall will display corresponding porcelain, truly experiencing the changes in porcelain from different eras.
Once again, I came to the Chinese Filial Piety Garden, accompanied by the night and facing the rising sun. The Zhonghua Xiaode Garden is located at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in the southwest of Shangyu City, covering an area of 37.5 hectares. It is the core block of the Cao'e River Provincial Scenic Area and the first national 4A level tourist attraction in Shangyu. From the gate of Xiaode Garden, one can feel the vicissitudes of thousands of years of history.
What surprised me was that as the first national 4A level scenic spot in Shangyu, it was open to tourists for free. Yu Shun was one of the "Three Emperors and Five Emperors" in ancient China, known for his virtues and filial piety. Shangyu is said to be the hometown of Yu Shun, and the Chinese Filial Piety Garden was built based on Yu Shun and his filial daughter Cao E.
The main attractions of the Chinese Filial Piety Park include the Great Shun Temple, the Yushun Ancestral Temple, the Prajnaparamita Temple, the Chinese Filial Piety Culture Museum, the Shungeng Group Carvings, and the Shenzhou Shun Monument. Traveling along the trail, the green spaces on the roadside are lined up with giant stones in a row, and this is the Shenzhou Shun Trail. The Shenzhou Shunji is the concluding work of the sculpture master Mr. He Zhongling. With eighteen peculiar stones from all over the country, resembling footprints, it showcases the civilized footprints left by the moral ancestor Emperor Shun, who practiced virtue and filial piety throughout his life on the land of Shenzhou.
The Da Shun Temple is the core attraction of the Chinese Filial Piety Park and one of the most worthwhile places to visit in the entire park. The Dashun Temple was designed by Mr. Zhu Guangya, an ancient architecture expert from Southeast University. It adopts the style of the Han Dynasty and is decorated with stone and copper carvings, showcasing the unique charm of the solemn and ancient architecture.
The entire Da Shun Temple consists of the Da Shun Hall, the mountain gate corridor, the north and south side halls, and the Zhonghua Pavilion. Inside the temple, there are statues of Da Shun enshrined. The entire building is paved with granite and decorated with exquisite stone and copper carvings. It is rough yet delicate, and simple yet elegant, organically integrating ancient architecture with modern aesthetics, making it unique.
Corresponding to the Great Shun Temple is the Shungeng Group Sculpture located adjacent to the exit of the scenic area. The Shungeng Group Sculpture can be said to be a landmark building in Shangyu. The Shungeng Group Carving is based on the legend of "elephant farming and bird cultivation" and was created by the famous Chinese art master Han Meilin. It is currently the largest group carved stone elephant in Asia. The entire set of sculptures consists of 15 stone elephants, carved from sesame white granite. Emperor Shun stands on top of the elephants, holding the plow with his left hand and supporting the sun, moon, and stars with his right hand, exuding a majestic appearance.
If the Chinese filial piety garden during the day is static beauty, then the filial piety garden at night is dynamic beauty. Coincidentally on Saturdays, Xiaode Garden has its own unique water screen movie every week. At 7:15 pm, when the night completely enveloped Shangyu, the night screen movie officially began. Countless tourists and citizens have come here, and like them, I am quietly waiting for a visual feast to arrive.
Water screen movies, with exquisite and atmospheric water spray forms, roam the entire scene from different perspectives under the mutual reflection of lighting and music. When water screen movies began, I was deeply moved by the performance of this artistic form and was also very curious about the principles of water screen movies.
In the script editing, the local culture of Shangyu was combined to create a water screen film with themes such as Yu Shun, Cao E, Liang Zhu, celadon, and Tang Poetry Road. Five chapters were produced, including Moral Ancestor, Investing in the River to Save Father, Colorful Butterfly Double Flying, Thousand Peaks and Emerald Colors, and Dongshan Poetry, totaling about 15 minutes, fully showcasing Shangyu's long historical journey and profound cultural heritage.
The poignant scene of Liang and Zhu transforming into butterflies, as well as the auspicious signs of dragons and phoenixes, are all presented on the water curtain in front of us. The audience present raised their phones to record this unforgettable scene. The water screen movie requires the construction of a new water screen fountain platform, along with the installation of fountain, lighting, projection and other equipment, using a combination of sound, light, and electricity to create the stunning night leisure water visual feast in front of us
Day 3 follows in the footsteps of Wang Yangming, walking into the mountains and rivers of Chenxi
Wang Yangming, an important historical figure in Chinese history, has a profound connection with the Chenxi River in Shangyu. Following Wang Yangming's footsteps, he walked into the Chenxi River surrounded by mountains and rivers. Shilan Mountain is the first stop of our trip to Chenxi. As soon as we arrived at Chenxi Township, we were attracted by this unique mountain peak. The peak, resembling spring bamboo shoots, stood tall in the mountains. The stark contrast between the bare Shilan Mountain and the surrounding lush peaks was strong. Wang Yangming also praised this mountain when he saw it, saying that "the cloud roots are strange, and there are two peaks, with wind and frost lasting for tens of thousands of winters.".
Approaching the Stone Shoot Mountain, I saw a stream surrounding the mountain. The stream was clear and bottomed out, like a green belt. This is the Dragon Creek. Longxi, once not called by this name, was the name that Wang Yangming and his disciples came to this place. The shape of this stream is like a dragon, and the dragon also has auspicious meanings, so it was named Longxi.
In the scorching summer of August, there are still three or two locals fishing on the banks of Longxi River. They have been dealing with this stream since childhood, and for them, fishing is no longer just for catching fish, but just to quietly appreciate the beauty of the familiar Longxi River landscape. In the downstream of Longxi, there is a dam that is similar to the carp, also known as the "carp dam". The winding and winding dam, with the pouring water, stirred up white waves. From the sky, the entire dam looks like a carp jumping in the Dragon Creek.
Chenxi not only boasts unique natural landscapes, but also has a profound cultural heritage. Today, Chenxi has become a characteristic cultural town, and the Memorial Hall of the Zhejiang New Fourth Army Logistics Base is a highly educational attraction in this town. According to historical records, Chenxi was one of the anti Japanese revolutionary base areas in Simingshan. The Hongqiao Sunshine Field located in Hongqiao Village was a gathering and training place for the New Fourth Army during the Anti Japanese War. Chenxi Township was the logistics base for the New Fourth Army's Zhejiang East Guerrilla Brigade in the later stage of the Anti Japanese War. In order to not forget the glorious history of Chenxi, promote the spirit of dedication of our ancestors, and spread the patriotic spirit of our heroes, the local government began to build a memorial hall for the logistics support base of the New Fourth Army in eastern Zhejiang.
The Memorial Hall is a one story antique quadrangle courtyard, covering an area of 1260 square meters. There are two main exhibition halls inside the Memorial Hall, which are divided into five chapters through pictures, text, physical objects, and scene simulations: "Ignite the flame, establish a base, persist in struggle, sacrifice for the country, and create glory again". It vividly displays the passionate scene of the New Fourth Army establishing a branch and base in Chenxi, as well as the support of the Chenxi people for the battle, and the achievements of building a new society under the guidance of the Party.
When it comes to Wang Yangming, the most widely introduced in textbooks is the culmination of the Ming Dynasty's philosophy of mind. In fact, Wang Yangming is also an excellent thinker, writer, military strategist, and educator, with many disciples, known as the "Yaojiang School". If you want to know more about Wang Yangming, why not join me in the exhibition hall where Wang Yangming's ancestors lived, where we can witness the growth process of a sage.
There are two main exhibition halls in the exhibition hall. The first exhibition hall is divided into ten chapters to explore the history of Wang Yangming's family changes. The second exhibition hall is a showcase of Wang Yangming's legacy, which is the inheritance hall of Wang Yangming's "unity of knowledge and action" ideology. According to historical records, Wang Yangming was the ninth generation descendant of the Wang family of the Yaojiang Secret Map Mountain Sect. His ancestors moved their residence from Yuhang to Shangyu and then to present-day Yuyao.
Entering the side hall of the exhibition hall, which is also the second exhibition hall, this exhibition hall is called Yimo, which displays multiple calligraphy works of Wang Yangming. Each calligraphy work can represent the mood of Wang Yangming in different periods. Some works have strong strokes, while others have neat handwriting. However, what is presented to me is particularly beautiful.
Zhuyin Market can be said to be the most surprising place in Chenxi Style Street for me. Why is it named Zhuyin? Because some of the products sold in this market are from the surrounding mountains and forests. Without this market, they may still not be known to outsiders, like living in seclusion. Zhuyin Market has eight shops, each selling unique products to a village in Chenxi Township. For example, the most distinctive product of the first shop is bamboo weaving. An old man from the village weaves bamboo weaving products on-site in the shop, with exquisite craftsmanship and impressive finished products.
Zhejiang can be said to be the place with the most Jiangnan flavor, with many ancient towns and villages in Jiangnan, including as many as thirteen famous towns in Jiangnan. In Chenxi, there is an ancient village called Taiping Ancient Village. At the entrance of the village, a huge stone memorial archway tells me about its glorious past. Taiping Ancient Village is built by the creek and is an ancient mountain village with a history of over 1800 years.
The ancient village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery. Lu You once came here and exclaimed, "The peak returns to the place where I once visited, and the bamboo is hidden in the old village of immortals.". Upon arriving at Taiping Ancient Village, I seem to have discovered a great place hidden between this beautiful landscape. There are not many visitors, but most of them are villagers who lived here during the times. The academy located in the center of the village is a great place to pass the time.
Day 4 Strolling through Dongcheng Ancient Village, Observing the Millennium Terraced Fields of Zhishan Mountain
In the peak summer of August, the weather in the mountains is always unpredictable. On the way to Fuzhi Mountain, we experienced that the car was driving on a winding mountain road, passing through the jungle, with raindrops hitting the car window and sunlight shining into the car. The Fuzhi Mountain Scenic Area is located in Lingnan Township, Shangyu District, Zhejiang Province, at the junction of Shangyu, Shengzhou, and Yuyao cities. It is a national 4A level tourist attraction named after Xie Lingyun, the "pioneer of landscape poetry" of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, who climbed this mountain to drink and compose poetry, and after drinking, Fuzhi Mountain was named.
The Fuzhi Mountain Scenic Area has the highest peak in Shangyu, with unique natural landscapes, rich cultural landscapes, and profound historical accumulation,
The most prominent features include glacial waves, millennium terraced fields, Dongcheng Ancient Village, and cherry base. In midsummer, when you come to Fuzhi Mountain, you must not miss out on the millennium old terraced fields. With a history of at least five hundred years, there are over 23000 terraced fields of different sizes covering more than 2300 acres.
Each terraced field is made entirely of rock blocks from the Quaternary glacial relics - the "Stone Glacier". Strolling to the mountaintop observation deck, one can gaze into the distance, spreading down from the mountainside and stacking up from the foot, creating a rare and magnificent painting in Jiangnan. Looking at the terraced fields in front of me, my mind is thinking that until the season when rapeseed flowers bloom in March of the following year, this place must be as beautiful and moving as a painting.
Starting from the countryside, you will definitely come up with such a scene in your mind: a clear and bottomless stream, a vast expanse of golden fields, white walled and blue tiled bungalows... Spring and autumn harvest, cold and summer come and go, every season of the countryside exudes infinite charm, who can't help but yearn for it? The Dongcheng Ancient Village located in Fuzhi Mountain has given me the most beautiful memories.
Dongcheng Ancient Village, with an altitude of over 380 meters, is located at the top of the highest peak in Shangyu, Fuzhi Mountain. It has a century old glacier on the top, a thousand year old terraced field on the bottom, a small cherry on the left, and a Wanfang Reservoir on the right. The scenery is unique. She has been quiet and calm for thousands of years, as if she has been this way since the day she existed, as if she will still be this way many years later.
This once nominated as the most beautiful ancient village in China, consisting of ancient village clusters, millennium terraced fields, thousand year old stone waves, and high mountain meadows, creates a serene and beautiful landscape painting. A clean and simple farmyard, a neat and orderly village construction, and the elegant atmosphere of a century old village?? Standing in Dongcheng Village, what unfolds before us is a beautiful rural painting. Walking slowly along the polished stone road, one can see blue walls, stone tiles, mud walls, and wooden doors. After a hundred years, they are still complex and vivid.
Dongcheng Ancient Village has not been overdeveloped, and is even less well-known, without the hustle and bustle of the market. This place is imbued with the weight of history and the vitality after experiencing vicissitudes. The murmuring stream flowing down the mountain by the stone steps is so clear that one can't help but want to take a sip... Turning a corner, elegantly decorated homestays come to mind. The courtyard in Jiangnan style, with hollow flower windows and several potted plants, can hold a leisurely time. If you have time to stay here for a night, enjoying the terraced flower sea during the day and listening to the chirping of insects at night, it's incredibly comfortable.
Iced watermelon is exclusive to summer, while coming to Shangyu Gaibei Grape is the sweet limit here. There are endless grape vines on both sides of the road, as well as grape sightseeing gardens dedicated to taking photos for tourists. Gaibei, this place has all my memories of Shangyu. The last stop of this journey is to return here once again and experience the joy of picking.
Gaibei, this is the hometown of grapes in China, known as "Jiangnan Turpan". In the afternoon of August, the sunny days make the weather particularly hot and dry, while the gentle breeze under the grape trellis makes people feel particularly cool. In the vineyard, clusters of grapes hang all over the branches, crystal clear and particularly tempting.
In Gaibei, besides picking, there are three very worthwhile attractions to visit. The first one is the Wild Vine Ordinary Sightseeing Park, which has a sightseeing corridor covered with grape trellises. Walking into the corridor, you can look up and see several varieties of grapes hanging on the branches in front of you; The second one is the Wild Vine Cultural Garden, where you can see some introductions and knowledge about the Gaibei grape, as well as a huge grape tree king. What's even more precious is that the branches of this tree king are covered with grapes.
The third attraction is the Gaibei Flower Sea located opposite the Cultural Park, where different flowers are planted in different seasons. Under the blue sky and white clouds, a colorful sea of flowers blooms warmly in the sunlight. The breeze, the swaying flower sea, and the colorful houses in the distance all give off the feeling of summer.
[Accommodation Recommendation]
The persistence in my heart, calmly waiting. I look forward to a happy existence, thousands of missed moments, thousands of turned backs, all just to find a warm home for my heart·····
When I came to Shangyu, there were still many options for accommodation, ranging from high-end star rated hotels to characteristic internet famous homestays. Muge homestay was my accommodation choice for this trip.
Shangyu has always been known for its lush mountains, clear waters, and rich cultural heritage both inside and outside the province. When you come here, you must settle in the midst of these mountains and clear waters in order to feel the unique charm of this land. The Muge people's residence is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The location of Muge Homestay is very good. In front of it is a rice field, and in the summer, you can still hear the sound of frogs. Behind it is a mountain forest, and at this time, the trees are lush green.
Although located in the deep mountains, the homestay has a large parking lot, which is very suitable for tourists who come here for self driving. The appearance of homestays looks very unique, with houses built on the mountain and almost all windows around. In front of the homestay house, facing the blue sky, white clouds, and green mountains and rice fields, there is a rectangular infinity swimming pool with a swing set up beside it. A cute little girl is enjoying her summer afternoon leisure time on it.
Entering the lobby, the main style of the homestay is fresh, and the large area of the homestay only has a dozen or so rooms, in order to provide better service to the guests who come here. At Sandu, the service was considerate. After checking in, the butler helped us carry our luggage and led us to our room, providing us with a detailed introduction to the room; At Sandu, the rooms are unique, each with its own unique features, ranging from different names to different layouts and decoration styles.
