A small Shangyu actually has many scenic spots and a wide distribution, but because the overall area is not large, it is quite comfortable to circle around. This trip will be quite long, so it will be divided into three days to complete. This way, you can have fun and enjoy the beautiful scenery without getting tired.

A peaceful ancient village without wars for thousands of years

Hidden among the green mountains and waters, this secluded paradise has a history of over 2000 years. The natural scenery of the village is pleasant, the people are simple, and there are many historical sites. It is currently one of the best preserved ancient villages in the city. There are natural scenic spots such as Qipan Mountain, Mobi Rock, Wudong Reservoir, and Longtankeng in the village, as well as many historical sites that leave behind the appearance of ancient village clusters. The stone slab and pebble ancient road, which is well connected in the village, was built in the 1960s and 1970s; The Upper Seven Rooms, Middle Seven Rooms, and Lower Seven Rooms are representative works of civil engineering structures in Taiping Mountain; The century old Ginkgo biloba, the millennium old Chinese torreya, and the ancient Fenghe Bridge bear witness to the long history of Taiping Mountain. After the newly built memorial archway, there is a couplet that reads "Han, Tang, Song and Ming celebrities collect poems and pass them on to later generations, and mountains, rivers, mountains, valleys, mountains, mountains, mountains, mountains, valleys, scenic spots, and history". This is another huge fortune of Taiping Mountain Village, which we will taste slowly.

Under the forest stands a stone tablet by Xu Guanfu. About 400 years ago, Xu Guanfu, a Ming Dynasty official and the governor of Shangyu, resigned from his position as the head of the Ministry of Rites and accompanied his elderly mother to place all his favorite things at the foot of Taiping Mountain in Chenxi Township. "In old age, the mind is idle and there is no external affairs, and the seat of hemp clothes and grass is also comfortable. When we meet, it is best to meet someone under the forest." - This was originally a poem by Tang Dynasty Zen Master Lingche in response to Wei Dan's governor, but it also accurately hit Xu Guanfu's heart. After arriving at Taiping Mountain, he cut off the poem as his title and proclaimed himself "one under the forest". After Xu Guanfu died, his descendants erected a stone memorial archway for him, and Zheng Sanjun, then the minister of Nanhu, wrote the words "One Man Under the Forest", standing in this small mountain village surrounded by valleys and invincible. The world that floats and rises outside has drawn a clear boundary from this pure home.

The so-called Wangpai is the stone tablet in the middle of the old memorial archway. Although the stone tablet has been broken in the middle, due to the fact that the front and back are the same, the four big characters "one person under the forest" can still be clearly seen. The upper inscription is "Zheng Sanjun, the Minister of Revenue, was appointed", and the lower inscription is "Presented by Xu Guanfu, the Minister of Rites". This half of the plaque was just retrieved from the paving stone according to the requirements of the local sage Jin Gang. Zheng Sanjun was the Minister of Revenue of the Ming Dynasty, and "One Person Under the Forest" was conferred by Emperor Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty. This shows that Zheng Sanjun once lived in Taiping Mountain, and Xu Guanfu, the chief of the Ministry of Rites, built a memorial archway for him.

As time goes by, the Shipai Square was demolished and used as another place. But today, as long as we pass through Taiping Mountain Village, we can still see the "one person under the forest" square in two. The new memorial archway at the entrance of the village was copied according to villagers' memories a few years ago, and the remains of the Ming Dynasty archway were placed beside the new memorial archway. The square is about one meter wide and half a meter high. It is said that this square was buried without a trace before, but it was lost and regained a few years ago. After decades of silence, it finally spoke up again and told the story that it had already grown wrinkles.

Xu Guanfu has been living in Taiping Mountain Village ever since. There is a stream in front of the village, a mountain behind the village, and bamboo on the mountain, surrounded by the mountain village. This is a small village that can satisfy all his natural imagination. We are walking in today's small village, where a central road paved with pebbles, along with several intricate cobblestone paths, forms the overall structure of Taiping Mountain Village.

Even the central road, rather than being a road, is just an extremely narrow passage that is as wide as an alley and rises along the mountain terrain. In the mountainous areas of Shangyu, there are already many houses built with stones, and even more so in Taiping Mountain Village. Along the sloping road, we gradually appreciate a stone village filled with stone walls, roads, houses, and steps.

The village has a 400 year old ancient mansion called Yipin Tang, which was the office of the Nationalist government during the Anti Japanese War and also the place where veteran party member Jin Bojiu took the oath of joining the party in 1945.

Millennium Terraced Fields in the Fuzhi Mountain Scenic Area

Lingnan Township in Shangyu District is named after Xie Lingyun, the "pioneer of landscape poetry" of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, who climbed this mountain to drink and compose poetry, and after drinking, he finished his poem. It is a rural paradise that combines green mountains, green water, peculiar rocks, mountain streams, homestays, farmhouses, and seasonal immortal fruits. It has unique natural landscapes, rich cultural landscapes, and profound historical accumulation. Established as a national 4A level tourist attraction in 2017, the "Climbing Waves Cycling Glacier Drifting Mountaineering" route was rated as a high-quality sports and leisure tourism route in Zhejiang Province. The Millennium Terraced Rapeseed Flower Sea was rated as one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful 'Golden Flower Scenic Spots' and Top Ten Rapeseed Flower Viewing Spots in East China".

The beauty of Mount Fuzhi lies in its magic. Fuzhi Mountain is the highest peak in Shangyu, with an altitude of 861.3 meters. On the top of Fuzhi Mountain, there are sparse vegetation and many rocks, some small like beasts and some large like stone houses. On the slopes of the Fuzhi Mountain, there are 12 long and varied stone mounds, flowing from the mountaintop all the way to the foothills, which is quite spectacular. After research by Professor Han Tonglin, an authoritative scholar in the geological field, it is believed that they are remnants of Quaternary glaciers. The longest and widest stone waves of these glaciers can reach over 1000 meters, and the widest point is 50 meters. Such spectacular stone waves are rare at low altitudes.

Four villages, including Dongcheng, Liangzhai, Dingshan, and Pingshan, are the main owners of Sibao Ancient Village. Located on the mountainside of the Fuzhi Mountain scenic area. Here, ancient houses, ancient roads, and ancient trees complement each other, and the villagers are warm and hospitable. The people are simple, and the hundreds of ancient houses in the four ancient villages, although they are made by people, are as if the sky is open. With the development of rural leisure tourism, leisure economies such as immortal fruit picking, characteristic farmhouses, and Langquan famous hotels are quietly emerging in ancient villages. The Fuzhi Mountain Scenic Area has attracted tourists and sports enthusiasts from all over the country and even abroad, including the Shangyu Fuzhi Mountain Climbing Festival, Cherry Picking Festival, Rapeseed Flower Festival, Cycling Competition, and Glacier Drifting, with various "long guns and short cannons" appearing in the fields, mountains, and alleys.

The beauty of Mount Fuzhi lies in its grandeur. Millennium terraced fields are located halfway up the Fuzhi Mountain, stacked from the foot of the mountain, creating a beautiful and spectacular scene. There are over 2300 acres of terraced fields connected around the Shilang on the north slope of Fuzhi Mountain, with a total of more than 23000 terraced fields calculated based on about ten terraced fields per acre. These terraced fields are all built from the rock blocks in the fourth century ice and river ruins - the "Stone Glacier". Some people have calculated that if these terraced fields are connected, the length is equivalent to a round trip from Shangyu to Beijing. Nowadays, the scenic area plants rapeseed on the terraced fields every year. Whenever spring comes, the deep mountain canyon becomes a golden ocean.

Green homestays in Shitou Village, Dongcheng Ancient Village

She has a temperament in the countryside, just like the high mountains and flowing water of Dongcheng, a paradise in the world, which is basically nothing more than that. Located in the core landscape area of Fuzhi Mountain, the highest peak of Shangyu, Dongcheng is undoubtedly a good place. Millennium terraced fields, glacial waves, ancient villages, and romantic flower seas are all the resounding business cards of Dongcheng Village. At the top of the Fuzhi Mountain, the highest peak in Shangyu, there is a century old glacier on the top, a thousand year old terraced field below, a small cherry on the left, and a Wanfang Reservoir on the right, creating a unique scenery. She has been quiet and calm for thousands of years, as if she has been this way since the day she existed, as if she will still be this way many years later.

Dongcheng Village is located on the mountainside of Fuzhi Mountain in Yunan Mountain District, at the core of Shangyu Fuzhi Mountain Scenic Area. It is a well-known ancient mountain village, a strong tourist village, and a destination for Shangyu's Four Seasons Immortal Fruit Tour. Dongcheng Village is located at the top of Fuzhi Mountain, and admiring the millennium old terraced fields has become a major attraction for it.

Turning a corner, elegantly decorated homestays stood out in front of me. The courtyard in Jiangnan style, with hollow flower windows and several potted plants, can hold a leisurely time. If you have time to stay here for a night, enjoying the terraced flower sea during the day and listening to the chirping of insects at night, it's incredibly comfortable.

The deeper you go, the quieter it becomes. The people and objects from the old days are sealed here like specimens, becoming a unique portrayal of Dongcheng Village's life.

Entering Dongcheng Village, the pace of time suddenly slowed down. A second ago, there were still hurried tourists around, turning around and stepping into the deep alleys paved with stone slabs, as if returning to ancient times. Walking slowly along the polished stone road, one can see blue walls, stone tiles, mud walls, and wooden doors. After a hundred years, they are still complex and vivid. The century old village gives people a feeling, imprinted with the imprint of time, with the weight of history and the vitality after experiencing vicissitudes. Every element and symbol here reveals a simple folk style, telling the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

The wind suddenly became much gentler here. The sunlight delicately smeared onto the bluestone slab, but also lingered in the gray black corrugated space.

Walking down the cobblestone road, I hid this ancient village in front of me. Chenggu Village has not been overdeveloped, and even now it is rarely known, without the hustle and bustle of the market. This place is imbued with the weight of history and the vitality after experiencing vicissitudes. The murmuring stream beside the stone steps, flowing down the mountain, is clear and clear

The wine jar I found along the way was painted with twelve zodiac animals, adding a touch of fun to the tranquil ancient village.

Dongcheng Village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with its back backed by covered trees. The Quaternary glaciers have left relics here, making it a key tourist attraction in Dongcheng Village - Wannian Shilang.

When the sea is clear and the air is bright, Lingzhi mushrooms are picked from the top of the green clouds. When climbing high, one must remember the height of the mountain, and the cliff top is covered with a drop of alcohol. Whenever in the spring when rapeseed flowers are in full bloom, the thousand acre flower field of Fuzhi Mountain attracts countless tourists. Dongcheng Ancient Village also wakes up, wakes up, wakes up, wakes up. Similarly, it becomes lively.

Chenxi Style Town

This place is famous because it is. The summer of 1513 AD. A person named Wang Yangming arrived with his friends and disciples. On the way to Xuedou Mountain, I passed by here and had a three-day and two night trip. This is a study tour that spans time and space. Wang Yangming and his delegation were enjoying the scenery and reciting poetry at the Twin Peaks of stalagmites. Mr. Yangming wrote a poem titled "Ode to Diaoyutai stalagmites" praising the towering and upright nature of the two peaks. They stood in the Elephant Trunk Cave for a long time to admire, dined and rested at the Sibai Zen Temple, gave lectures under a thousand year old cypress tree, played and discussed in their ancestral home of Hongxi. Mr. Yangming even renamed "Daxi" to "Longxi", depicting the shape of the stream and symbolizing auspiciousness. On the Longxi River, Mr. Yangming and his disciples and friends "washed the pillow stones of the river", composing poetry and learning music; In the stone house, rest and enjoy the sunset, and indulge in endless imagination; Observing the picturesque peaks and peculiar rocks, as well as the flowing waterfalls and springs in the Snow Lake.

Liyuba is located at the foot of Shilun Mountain in Chenxi Township. It is a dam on the Longxi River, named Liyu Dam because it resembles a carp. The stacked dam flows down in a winding and winding manner, and when viewed from the air, it feels like a carp swimming in the water, very agile. This is also a good place for children to play with water and avoid the summer heat.

In recent days, with continuous high temperatures, the Guanxi Liyu Dam in Chenxi Township has become a popular summer resort for citizens due to its good water quality and flat dam body, attracting many tourists from afar to play in the water and cool off.

Walking in Chenxi is like swimming in a painting. Looking up is the towering stalagmites mountain, looking down is the turbulent Dragon Creek water. Looking down, one can feel the charm of the fairy water and the bamboo hidden Chen Creek.

Chenxi is a historic Yunan Mountain Township and a scenic tourist destination. It not only boasts natural wonders such as stalagmites, elephant trunk cave, snowflake pond, and immortal canyon, but also includes cultural landscapes such as Tongze Ancient Temple, Sibai Zen Temple, and Yangming Ancestor Residence Exhibition Hall. In addition to Wang Yangming, celebrities and scholars such as Yu Ji, Ge Hong, Tao Hongjing, and Lu You have also left their footprints and poems. Chenxi is also the logistics base of the Siming Mountain Anti Japanese Base, where nine factories and two courtyards were built. The people of Chenxi have made significant contributions to supporting the anti Japanese and national salvation cause, making it a city in Shaoxing. Patriotic education base.

Wang Yangming, also known as Wang Shoubai Ren. Wang Shouren (October 31, 1472 – January 9, 1529) was of the Han ethnic group, with a young name of Yun, the courtesy name Bo'an, and the alias dao Yangming. A native of Yuyao County, Shaoxing Prefecture, Zhejiang Province (now part of Yuyao County, Ningbo), he named himself Yangmingzi because he once built a house in Yangming Cave in Kuaiji Mountain. Scholars call him Mr. Yangming, also known as Wang Yangming. Famous thinker, writer, philosopher, and military strategist of the Ming Dynasty, the culmination of Lu Wang's philosophy, proficient in Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism.

Hongxi Village in Chenxi Village, Shangyu, is a free and open ancestral residence of Wang Yangming, located next to three high-rise buildings for immigrants descending the mountain.

Mr. Wang Yangming's calligraphy is also vigorous and powerful, flowing with clouds and water, giving a beautiful feeling. So he is not only a master of mental studies, but also one of the few calligraphy masters.

Chenxi is one of the anti Japanese revolutionary bases in Simingshan. Located in Hongqiao Village, Hongqiao Sunshine Field was a gathering and training place for the New Fourth Army during the Anti Japanese War. In the later stage of the War, Chenxi Township was the logistics base for the New Fourth Army's Zhejiang East Guerrilla Brigade.

In early 2011, the Rural Tourism and Culture Research Association of the Daxi River Basin in Shangyu City conducted a survey of local history and culture in Chenxi Township, and discovered the site of the logistics support base of the Zhejiang East Guerrilla Column of the New Fourth Army. With the passage of time, although many precious cultural relics have been destroyed, the old site has still been preserved. And this matter has also attracted the attention of departments such as the Shangyu Cultural Relics Management Institute, the Shangyu Municipal Party History Research Office, and the New Fourth Army History Research Association. According to further investigation, relevant departments have visited more than 10 elderly people in the local area, with the oldest being 94 years old this year. The elderly reminisce about the harmonious scene of women putting soles on shoes for the New Fourth Army, men purchasing wooden handles for grenades for military factories, and transporting military supplies through their own experiences. At the same time, more convincing evidence has been found to have found the promissory note for borrowing water tanks and the receipt for paying for the wooden handle of hand grenades from the army back then.

The Tongze Temple used to be the weaving factory of the New Fourth Army's Zhejiang East Guerrilla Column, the site of an arsenal in Chenxikou Village, the site of the Zhejiang East Guerrilla Column's clothing factory in Shengfan Village, the site of the Danhua Factory in Hongqiao Village, and the location of the Zhejiang East Guerrilla Column's printing factory in Xiaochen Village. These ruins are currently scattered in various villages, and if they are renovated and restored, they will become rare revolutionary traditional textbooks.

In 1944, after the establishment of the Zhejiang East Enemy Rear Temporary Administrative Committee and the Zhejiang East Administrative Office of our party, they successively issued grain vouchers printed in Chenxi. At that time, the supply of grain for the military and party and government organs could be extracted from grain stations or hulling yards or exchanged for grain with nearby villages based on the grain vouchers. Village cadres and the masses can settle and receive grain and cash from the local grain station with the exchanged grain and meal tickets. The grain coupons were used until October 1945 when the Zhejiang East Guerrilla Column of the New Fourth Army was ordered to retreat northward.

Dongshan Scenic Area

Xie An's Tomb

Dongshan, also known as Xie Anshan, is located in Shangpu Town, Shangyu City, 13 kilometers south of Shangyu City, with convenient water and land transportation. According to the "Shangyu County Annals", the famous scholar Xie An of the Eastern Jin Dynasty lived in seclusion on this mountain for a long time before the age of 41. After Xie An's seclusion on this mountain, he introduced many fascinating stories and gradually became a famous mountain in southeastern China. Li Bai, He Zhizhang, Liu Changqing, Fang Ping, Su Dongpo, Lu You, and others have all wandered around and left behind many famous poems, becoming the source of Tang poetry. In the fourth year of the Shengping reign of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (360 AD), Xie An left Dongshan to enter politics and became a famous politician. The idiom "Dongshan rises again" originated from this.

Shangyu Dongshan, also known as Zhishi Mountain, gained a great reputation in history due to the seclusion of Xie An during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Located in Shangpu Town, Shangyu City, on the east bank of the Cao'e River, 13 kilometers away from the county town of Baiguan. This is a small mountain with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation.

Xie An's tomb is located at the top of the Dongshan Mountain, with his head resting on the peaks and ridges, and his head resting on the "beginning of peace". Left column of Donggang, right screen of Xiling, negative yin embracing yang, hiding wind and obtaining water, is a blessed land. In front of the stone ring tomb, a tombstone towering above the head stands silently for hundreds of years in the wind and rain. The Xie Gong Tomb was just renovated and completed last year. The tomb is solemn and dignified, highlighting the dignity of the Grand Tutor of Jin. The three characters "Shining Spring" next to the cemetery are clear and distinguishable. The spring water is as green as the past, and the ancient camphor trees around it emit a distant fragrance, which is thought-provoking.

The feng shui of Xie An's tomb is also very good, and in front of the tomb is a clear pool of water. This is Shining Spring, which is located in front of Xie An's tomb and behind the the Shakya ManiHall of the National Day Temple. It is a mountain pond surrounded by ancient camphors and pubescent beams to hide the sun. There is a stone tablet beside it, which is inscribed with three simple seal characters "Shining Spring". This spring seems to be a scene of the old Shining Villa.

There is a Shinto extending south from the statue of Duke Xie, which is 108 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, all built with Donghu stones. Along the Shinto path, the pine and cypress trees grow green leaves, and the stone tiger, stone horse, stone sheep, and stone dog are arranged separately, representing the principles of integrity, loyalty, filial piety, and righteousness. The three in one landscape cluster of stone statues, tombs, and Shining Spring reflects Xie An's position and key position in Dongshan culture.

The Taifu Temple covers an area of 8 acres with a building area of 660 square meters. Its structure is simple and dignified, and the main hall is a single story double eaved gable roof structure. It is reported that the main project of the Taifu Temple started in May last year and has been basically completed. Currently, efforts are being made to decorate the hall and provide environmental support, and the construction of the General's Stele Forest on the inner wall of the wall is accelerating. Three wooden carvings, including Jin Taifu Wenjing Gong Xie An, Kangle Gong Xie Xuan, and Xi Kangle Gong Xie Lingyun, have been delivered and will be placed in the main hall of the Taifu Temple. The walls on both sides of the main hall will also be decorated with murals such as "Four Friends of Dongshan", "Teaching Children of Dongshan", and "Great Victory in Feishui".

Xie An was envied by others in the court, and the emperor's attitude towards him was also fluctuating, which made Xie An very angry and he resigned to live in seclusion. After retiring, he missed his hometown and started building civil engineering, transforming the secluded Tu Shan into Dong Shan. In 383 AD, Fu Jian of the State of Qin began to march south to conquer the State of Jin. At this moment, the emperor thought of Xie An and asked him to return, and appointed him as the commander-in-chief of the expedition. Xie An did not refuse, but instead respected the emperor's will and fought against Fu Jian. It was the Battle of Feishui that led to Xie An being highly valued and promoted by the court again. At that time, in the Battle of Feishui against Fu Jian, Xie An was playing chess steadily on the east mountain, but in the end, the enemy fell into a trap and fled. Everyone admired Xie An. The famous battle of winning more with less was the Battle of Feishui led by Xie An, which saved the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Later, he was summoned to the court and became the Minister of Personnel. Xie An won the battle. At that time, because he was living in seclusion in Ningyuan, he did not come out to become an official. Later, he did not come out of the mountains until he was in his 40s. Also, because he had been living in seclusion in Dongshan for a long time, his decision to become an official was known as Dongshan Rejuvenation.

The rebuilt Taifu Temple at the northern foot of Dongshan Mountain catches the eye. The four characters "Rise of the East" personally written by Shen Peng, the former chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, suddenly appeared in my eyes with extraordinary magnanimity. The Taifu Temple will mainly present to the world Xie An's rich life experiences and the indifference and glory of the Xie family.

Xie Gongshi stood with a focused gaze, still possessing the demeanor of commanding thousands of horses and armies, as well as a calm and tranquil charm, unchanged for thousands of years.

Fengqing Street Night Market

Night falls in Shangyu, with the lanterns rising at the beginning, the river scenery swaying, and the cool breeze blowing gently. The delicious food and cultural feast that complement this beautiful city are also taking advantage of the lively night.

The Friday night market activity of Shangyu Cultural Tourism Street kicked off in this dark night. The night market is located on a street with a strong cultural and tourism flavor, so as the name suggests, it is called a "street night market".

Starting from August 2, 2019, the Night Market of Fengqing Street will be held every Friday from 7pm to 9pm at the Cultural Tourism Fengqing Street in the Chinese Xiaode Garden. In just over half a year, the passenger flow on Friday evenings has continued to rise, with the highest popularity in the performance area and characteristic booth area. The night market activity area has expanded from the Fengqing Street to the Zhonghua Xiaode Park, receiving strong feedback in Shangyu. The average daily passenger flow exceeds 20000, making it a popular check-in spot for citizens and tourists in Shangyu and surrounding areas.

Cultural and creative products, agricultural products, seasonal immortal fruits, and agricultural and sideline specialties are stimulating the taste buds of citizens and tourists, and also awakening the comfortable nightlife of Shangyu, the best leisure town in China. The Fengqing Street Night Market is based on 16 venues, including the Township Characteristic Hall, the Rural Second Party Alliance Hall, the Datong E-commerce Hall, the Group Cultural and Creative Hall, and the Most Beautiful People Hall. It has opened six characteristic exhibition areas, including the Intangible Cultural Heritage Market, the Delicious Market, the Cultural and Creative Market, the Four Seasons Immortal Fruit, Cultural Memory and Special Exhibition. The themes of "Mid Autumn Festival in Tang Poetry", "Blessing the Motherland", "Filial Piety in Golden Autumn", and "Wearing Autumn Flavor" are presented in the night market through small concerts, live poetry recitations, on-site flash mobs, cultural salons, and other forms, making the cultural characteristics of the night market more vibrant.

Night is always unbearable to loneliness. On the streets illuminated by starry sky lights, there is noise overflowing, and rows of small booths are neatly arranged. Different booths have different styles, either fresh and elegant, or simple and simple, but it does not affect the passion hidden deep inside. The colors of the Fengqing Street night market are colorful, and the lights make the night bright. The bustling tourists can experience the value of the world; The mood of the night market in Fengqing Street is relaxed and free spirited, enjoying a pot of good tea and admiring a TV drama.

The Shangyu story in my memory shows that the night market in Fengqing Street is full of fragrance. From Songxia Stinky tofu to Xietang spiced dried five spices, it takes away the "Yuxiang delicacy". This kind of night market is naturally noisy, and the Cao'e River outside the night market is also peaceful and natural, intertwined like a night pearl in the darkness, shining and magnificent.

As the night progresses, it becomes more lively and bustling. Come and experience the real life of the night market in Fengqing Street. Stroll around the night market, savor the cultural atmosphere, and enjoy the fireworks among the people. The new era urban night scenes of "seeing the scenery, remembering homesickness, feeling happiness, and carrying dreams" will surely be more vividly displayed on the land of Yushun.

I'm not only here to buy things, but also to watch the production process, which is also a kind of enjoyment.

Ciyuan Cultural Town

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, the earliest Chinese porcelain was successfully fired in the dragon kiln of the Yue kiln, hence the Yue kiln celadon was known as the "mother porcelain". Shangyu is the birthplace of Yue kiln celadon, with a dense collection of ancient kiln sites. Among them, the Xiaoxiantan kiln site was designated as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in 2006, and the Forbidden Mountain kiln site was rated as one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in China in 2014.

The Art Leading Zone of Ciyuan Culture Town is located in the old factory area of Shangpu Town, covering an area of 191 acres, with a construction area of about 170000 square meters and a total investment of 500 million yuan. The main construction contents include the Ceramic Center, Reception Building, Art Museum, Master Bai Ming Studio, Shangyu Ceramic Advanced Research Institute of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, Gu's Yue Kiln Celadon Base, Gu Yuexuan Collection Hall, Yueqing Hall Headquarters, Central Square, Logistics Reception Center, Entrance Square, Artist Workshop, and Study Travel Camp. The goal is to become a new highland for the dissemination of porcelain culture in China, and to create a national level study travel camp based on the entire porcelain source culture small town.

Okay, these are the three sets carefully crafted by the craftsmen here, which are the combination of chopsticks and spoons to cope with the epidemic.

According to the master, the firing process is also very complicated, and the toughness of the soil is also required to be quite high. If the toughness is not enough, it will melt after burning. If the toughness is too high, it will not burn through, so making these small things requires a lot of effort. I

These primitive little elephants are also very interesting. They will be made into a small ornament on the shelf for holding business cards, which is quite agile.

This pattern is really beautiful, with small diamonds inside. It goes without saying that even if it's not fired like this after being fired, the front is still quite eye-catching.

These swans may be used to set chopsticks. Although it was made out of the mold, it was also done quite well. This reminds me of the famous song "Goose, Goose, Goose, Song of the Sky, White Hair Floating in Green Water, Red Palm Picking Clear Waves.". These molds are made of gypsum. The aunt in yellow clothes works here to repair the rough edges.

It should be quite troublesome to burn such a large painting.

There are also pottery jars and imitations from different periods in the exhibition hall.

These porcelain pieces are made quite exquisitely, and the complexity is that the people on them are also lifelike. Vividly showcased to us thousands of years ago. Life scenes.

You can either visit or get hands-on here, and there is a teaching point here. Children come here to learn how to make ceramic pottery.

Among these children who come to study, perhaps there will be a master of pottery in the future.

Fenghuangshan Site

Fenghuangshan Archaeological Site Park is located on the eastern foot of Fenghuang Mountain in Dashan Xiaowu Village, Shangpu Town, Shangyu District, Shaoxing City. It belongs to the cultural exhibition area of Ciyuan Cultural Town and is the first celadon themed cultural site park in Shaoxing area.

The park is the core area of the entire archaeological site park, including important archaeological excavation cultural landscapes, traditional settlement landscapes, and the Fenghuang Mountain Kiln Site and the Forbidden Mountain Kiln Site of the early Yue Kiln in Shangyu. From a distance, the beautiful mountains are reflected on the clear water surface. This Friendship Reservoir was built in 1983.

Picture Exhibition of Yue Kiln Celadon Culture. The design of the entire park respects the natural status quo, including these mountains, waters, and water. It adheres to the principles of archaeological site protection and minimal intervention, sustainable development, and promotes tourism development through ecological restoration and environmental improvement. It presents us with a celadon cultural heritage park that can see green mountains, clear waters, and remember nostalgia.

The three well preserved dragon kilns I saw were the results of archaeological excavations conducted by the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology in collaboration with the Shangyu Yue Kiln Celadon Development Research Center from May to October 2014. The excavation covers an area of 800 square meters, revealing three kiln beds and a large number of high-quality mature celadon artifacts. Due to the dampness and rainy weather in Jiangnan, many kilns were built along mountain slopes, resembling dragons and snakes, hence the name Dragon Kiln. The three Dragon Kilns were from the Eastern Han, Three Kingdoms, and Western Jin periods, respectively. All of them are sloping long strip dragon kilns (12.8 meters long in the Eastern Han Dynasty, 13.2 meters long in the Three Kingdoms, and 14.2 meters long in the Western Jin Dynasty). Some artifacts unearthed from archaeological excavations were also displayed on site.

The Yue kiln celadon bottle, this one is the Yue kiln celadon double fish wash, and this one is the Yue kiln celadon double lip jar. These vessels are relatively large in shape, with delicate and dense bodies, a bright and full glaze color, and advanced production and firing techniques, representing the first peak of mature celadon development in Shangyu from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Three Kingdoms and Western Jin Dynasty.

This is the Dragon Kiln of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a clear three section design (the bottom part is the fire chamber, the middle part is the kiln bed, and the top part is the kiln tail). The kiln tail is well preserved and consists of three parts: a smoke storage room, smoke exhaust holes, and smoke exhaust room. The smoke storage room is rectangular in shape, with a flat bottom and a green gray sintered shape. It is extremely hard and there is no sanding phenomenon. The rear end of the smoke storage room is a smoke exhaust hole, which is built in a straight wall shape with adobe bricks. There are six square smoke exhaust holes below, and the top is covered with adobe bricks. The smoke exhaust hole converges backwards into a horizontal rectangular smoke exhaust duct.

As the birthplace of Chinese celadon, Shangyu is dotted with celadon kiln sites on both sides of the Cao'e River. Nearly 400 ancient kiln sites from the Shang to Song dynasties have been discovered, and there are now two national key cultural relics protection units, including the Xiaoxiantan celadon kiln site and the Fenghuangshan kiln site group. There are also two provincial-level cultural relics protection units, including the celadon kiln site in front of the kiln temple and the Anshan Longyao site. There are also 11 district level cultural relics protection units, including the Hangwang Mountain kiln site and the Changyu Bay kiln site. The Shangyu Museum has over 20000 collections, of which nearly half are made up of Yue kiln celadon. Yue kiln celadon is known as "mother porcelain" and is an important urban landmark of Shangyu, inheriting and promoting celadon culture,

Yue Kiln Celadon Museum

The Yue Kiln Celadon Museum takes "porcelain" as its core and focuses on the rich history of porcelain in Shangyu. Through the timeline of Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn, Warring States, Eastern Han, Three Kingdoms, Western Jin, Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties, Northern Song, and modern times, it reviews the evolution of porcelain in history, restores the prosperity of porcelain masters, and creates a popular exhibition hall for the Shangyu porcelain industry that combines education and entertainment.

Craftsmanship seeks the charm in porcelain, and the inheritance is realized in celadon pieces. The Shangyu Yue Kiln Celadon Exhibition Hall will not only serve as an exhibition hall for celadon culture, but also as a symbol of the vastness and profoundness of Chinese culture.

Chinese Filial Piety Garden

The Chinese Xiaode Garden pays homage to Emperor Shun and gains eternal power from understanding filial piety and virtue.

The East Gate Xiaode Gate adopts the early and middle high-rise building style of the Han Dynasty Ming Dynasty, and is abstracted to form a four column memorial archway. It is simple, grand and solemn, reflecting the long history of Chinese filial piety, and strengthening the memorial of the scenic spot to Yu Shun and Cao E's filial piety, On the bank of Cao'e River in Shangyu and at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain, there stands a Dashun Temple, which is "the unity of heaven and man, invisible great form Is beyond shape, primitive and simple, and rugged". It and the Dayu Temple in Shaoxing are the two most famous sacrificial places in Zhejiang since the Tang and Song dynasties. After thousands of years of wind and rain, it still silently inherits the filial piety and moral values of our Chinese nation,

Enter this majestic, ancient and grand cultural tourist attraction with a beautiful environment and profound culture, experience the filial piety culture of the Chinese nation, and appreciate the exquisite architecture and carving art. The scenic area is built with two ancient Chinese moral and filial piety models, Yu Shun and filial daughter Cao E, as the core themes. It is a filial piety culture theme park. In addition to the Great Shun Temple, there is also the Cao'e Temple, also known as the "Number One Temple in Jiangnan". Da Shun was one of the "Three Emperors and Five Emperors" of ancient China. Despite being stubborn in his father, arrogant in his mother, and proud in his younger brother, he remained patient and influenced his family with a heart of benevolence, righteousness, filial piety, and filial piety. He was listed as the top filial piety among the twenty-four sons. Da Shun and Cao E were exemplary figures of filial piety, both of whom were from Shangyu. The culture of filial piety has become a bright and vibrant highlight of Shangyu culture, and has also become a business card of Shangyu. As a result, Shangyu has been named the "Hometown of Chinese Filial Piety Culture".

Walking towards the hiking trail on the hillside, one can see the art of Shenzhou Shunji stone carvings. These eighteen unique stone carvings vividly showcase the life of Emperor Shun.

The most famous carving art of Dashun Temple is the "three carvings" - stone carving, copper carving, and wood carving. Everyone, please take a look. These five "bluestone carvings" on the Shanmen Square are very typical stone carvings. These five ancient and exquisite bluestone carvings may seem simple, but they showcase the cultures of humanity from ancient times to the Han Dynasty in five different periods. The architecture of the Dashun Temple is in the style of the Qin and Han dynasties, making it more innovative and original. The design of the Da Shun Temple, based on the stone structure of Qin and Han architecture, incorporates modern decorative elements such as bronze. It not only highlights the rugged simplicity of ancient times, but also conforms to the aesthetic taste of modern people, making it a perfect fusion of ancient and modern.

A bronze Kuilong disc is inlaid on a light gray screen wall. The bronze Kuilong disc is the Kuilong image decorated on Shang Dynasty bronze ware, which is a circular and coiled dragon. Everyone, please take a look. The head of Kuilong is in the middle of the disk, with round eyes, eyebrows and nose connected, and the corners of its mouth are hooked, with a strong decorative taste. The dragon's body is coiled around the edge of the disk, showing a potential extension and development of power. This coiled and round Kuilong is also known as a coiled dragon. It adds a mysterious and majestic atmosphere to the Dashun Temple. During the Han Dynasty, most temples were decorated with Kui dragons, mainly to drive away demons and ward off evil spirits.

All the roofs of the Dashun Temple are not made of tiles, but are paved with granite from Fujian, which appears more rugged and heavy. The beauty of carving arts such as stone carving, copper carving, and wood carving is also fully demonstrated in them. On the roof of the temple, you will find 9 bronze roof figures, one on the summit and 8 on the eight vertical ridges. These bronze roof figures are all made into birds, called phoenix birds. The male is called Feng, the female is called Huang, and together they are called Phoenix. It is the idealized divine bird of the Chinese nation. Generally, the roof figures face outward, while the 8 phoenix birds that crouch on the ridge of the Dashun Temple face inward. They jointly face the elegant and dignified phoenix bird that is about to fly at the top of the middle, which seems to be a trend of worship, implying "a hundred birds worship the phoenix".

This bronze statue is the Great Shun. Shun was the Holy Emperor of ancient China. This bronze statue of the Great Shun is the soul of the entire Great Shun Temple. Symbolizing the majesty of the Nine Five Sovereigns of ancient emperors. Da Shun was originally the leader of a tribe in primitive society, and his clothing was primitive and primitive. To demonstrate its solemnity, the creators boldly innovated their clothing and adorned this ancient emperor with Han Dynasty robes. I saw Emperor Shun wearing a crown of hair and a wide sleeved robe made of thick silk fabric. His right hand was raised, as if summoning his people, and his left hand was knee protection, giving people a kind of affinity. The design is between human and divine, and the background of the statue of Da Shun is an abstract painting composed of irregular lines, with the sun and moon faintly visible. The symbolism is that during the period of chaos and chaos, bronze bells and drums were placed on both sides of the statue of Da Shun. Used for prayer, enlightenment, and transcending sentient beings. Another theory is that people have 108 types of troubles, and the bell rings 108 times to eliminate all human troubles. The sound of a bell is deep, loud, and long, which can shake people's hearts.

On the upper left and right sides are the Nanmu beams and columns from the original Bai Guan Emperor Shun Temple, which are the most complete historical relics preserved to this day. They are also historical witnesses of the people of Shangyu's admiration for Emperor Shun, inheritance of Yu Shun culture, and promotion of filial piety, and have high historical value.

It is the treasure of the town garden in the Dashun Temple scenic area - the Shungeng group sculptures. It is designed and produced by the international master of arts and crafts, Han Meilin, based on the legend of "elephant farming and bird cultivation". It is currently the largest group carved stone elephant in China and even Asia.

This group of Shun cultivates a group of sculptures, vividly depicting the scene of Shun working under the stars and wearing the moon, as if he were plowing for it, and birds working for it. The Shungeng Group Sculptures are 68 meters long and 27 meters high, carved from sesame white granite from Fangshan, Beijing. It consists of the statue of Yu Shun, 8 elephants, and 6 little elephants. Among them, Yu Shun stands on the back of the elephant, supporting the plow with his left hand and supporting the sun, moon, and stars with his right hand, exuding a majestic appearance. Each elephant is adorned with auspicious patterns, especially the six little elephants who play around the elephant herd, creating a diverse and lifelike ecology, injecting spiritual energy into the entire group of works. From a distance, Da Shun drove a group of elephants to cultivate, creating a magnificent scene. Wei Wei was magnificent. This giant sculpture used over 10000 tons of granite rubble, which was divided into 1251 pieces. After being made in Hebei, the elephant stones were transported by 51 30 ton trucks. Its large size and magnificent momentum can be called the number one in Asia.
