This summer, there was an indescribable heat, probably due to the pandemic. Everyone's hearts couldn't calm down, and most of the time, they just wanted to stay at home, blow on the air conditioning, and dig for watermelons.
There is a favorite song in the car - "Hill": Perhaps we have never matured, yet we are about to age, even though the young person still lives in our hearts. Frequently looking back due to unease, ignorant in seeking help, ashamed in seeking help, tirelessly climbing over every hill.
Under my feet, stepping on the accelerator, yes, I set off again to my destination - Shangyu.
I always feel a bit familiar with the name Shangyu because my hometown is also called Yucheng. The familiar Shangyu, who had passed by many times but never truly stopped, met under the summer sky in the fairy tale of Hayao Miyazaki.
Shangyu is located in the eastern part of Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is probably because Shaoxing's reputation is too well-known that Shangyu has been overshadowed. The current Shangyu District is a comprehensive new urban area in the eastern part of the central city of Shaoxing, with riverside characteristics and relatively complete functions. It also won the top ten wealthiest county-level cities in Forbes China in 2013. The United Nations Dubai Best Example Award for Improving Living Environment.
This three-day and two-night itinerary, let's get to know Shangyu seriously:
Day1 Zhujiazhuang - Lunch at Zhufu Restaurant - Afternoon Zaoli Lake View Seventeen Arch Bridge - Night Style Street Night Market
Day2 Hangzhou Bay Sea Flower Field - Gaibei Vineyard, the Hometown of Grapes in China - Chinese Xiaode Garden - Xiaode Garden Water Curtain Film
DAY3 Dongshan Scenic Area - Fenghuang Mountain Site - Porcelain Source Culture
The autumn tiger at the beginning of autumn is a bit fierce, and the weather is scorching hot. With one foot on the accelerator, it arrived at Zhujiazhuang, a place with pink walls and black tiles. The winding corridor, combined with the ancient and elegant style, created the atmosphere of classical gardens in Jiangnan. Recalling the story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai again, although poignant, it is heartwarming.
The layout of the Ming and Qing dynasties style features bronze reliefs embedded in the corridors on both sides of the gate. Showcase the scenes from the story of Liang and Zhu, such as changing clothes to study, worshipping on a grass bridge, seeing each other off at eighteen, meeting on a tower, and sacrificing graves to transform into butterflies. Walking through it is like walking into the story of Liang and Zhu.
The entire Zhujiazhuang is very large, which can be said to be a luxurious mansion at that time. It consists of three main buildings: the front hall, the outer building, and the Yingtai building, as well as ancillary buildings such as the study, Wenxin Garden, stage, and rockery, fully reflecting the style and characteristics of the Wei and Jin dynasties.
Yingtai Tower is an important living place for Zhu Yingtai and also the place where the legendary "Tower Meeting" takes place. The story of Liang and Zhu seems to be replayed before our eyes, with a very beautiful butterfly painting at our feet, which is an interactive projection system. The second floor is the living room and study of Zhu Yingtai, with two very realistic wax statues in the middle, restoring the clothing characteristics of the characters from the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Everyone, this is Liang Zhu. In fact, the female is Zhu Yingtai, and the male is her servant.
After visiting Zhujiazhuang, we immediately enjoyed Chinese food at Zhufu Restaurant, as if Zhu Yingtai had prepared a delicious table for us. Shaoxing cuisine is mostly light, and for someone like me who has a strong taste, it's a bit uncomfortable to be so light.
In the afternoon, warm winds gusted and we arrived at Zaoli Lake. It was said that Zaoli Lake is a pearl left behind in Shangyu. Its beautiful scenery and abundant material resources make people yearn for it. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with undulating and winding mountains overlapping and overlapping. If you want to get close to nature, Zaoli Lake is a suitable place, standing quietly in a unique way.
Zaoli Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Shangyu. On Zaoli Lake, there is a seventeen arch bridge spanning it, which is very spectacular. Walking on the bridge is even more refreshing.
The story of "Caoliwei Lake" is still circulating in Zaoli Lake
According to legend, during the Zhenguan period of the early Tang Dynasty, there were frequent droughts and floods in the Zaohu area, causing farmers to have no harvest. At that time, a wealthy family surnamed Cao and a wealthy family surnamed Li saw it in their eyes and worried about it in their hearts. They decided to learn from their ancestors and make the land dig and surround the embankment into a lake. The villagers were very moved and volunteered to dig the lake. After a year of hard work, a 500 acre lake bottom was dug. On rainy days, water accumulates at the bottom of the lake, while on dry days, it opens for irrigation. From then on, the fertile fields within several miles were spared from droughts and floods. In order to commemorate the achievements of our ancestors, later generations named the lake after its homophonic sound "Zao Li". With the changing stars and the changing seas, the current Zaoli Lake has a water area of over 1800 acres, irrigated farmland of tens of thousands of hectares, and directly benefited a population of tens of thousands. The parents and fellow villagers of our hometown rely on this land and soil to thrive and carry on the past and open up new horizons.
Zaoli Lake has also experienced wind and rain, and now it has undergone a magnificent transformation. The surface of the lake is clear like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and water. Everything is breathtaking, making people feel as if they have entered a painting. Strolling by the lake, occasionally encountering a few fishermen and experiencing their fishing fun. Zaoli Lake has been called "the scenery is like Qiandao Lake, and the appearance is as beautiful as Xizi" by people.
Every day is in a hurry, wanting to just grab it, but every minute is passing by, unable to go back or stay. After taking a walk from Zaoli Lake, we arrived at the Chinese Filial Piety Park in Shangyu. The night gradually approached us, with the lanterns shining and the river scenery swaying. Since the government supported the street vendor economy, this place has become a charming night market for the people of Shangyu.
Before it got dark, this place was already crowded with people. Every Friday, cultural and event events are held both inside and outside the Zhonghua Xiaode Park scenic area, bringing a new "night economy" experience to the residents of Shangyu and surrounding areas, quickly becoming a popular check-in experience area. At present, the night market has been organized 25 times in a row, and each episode is quite lively.
City leaders have also visited the Fengqing Street night market to enjoy the beautiful scenery, stroll around the market, and taste delicious food with the citizens. Tao Guanfeng praised that this place has become a new attraction for urban night economy, with popularity and down-to-earth atmosphere.
Rich specialty products: Jiatang pastry, Songxia Stinky tofu, Xietang spiced dried five spices, Daoxu steamed mutton and other traditional Shangyu delicacies, which make you have to put on three kilograms. And there is also an exhibition area with obvious regional characteristics for "intangible cultural heritage and specialty products in the surrounding areas", which is really lively. There is also a performance stage in the Cao'e River Square for a street night market, singing traditional Chinese opera and singing slowly, with a full charm.
The next morning, accompanied by a warm breeze, we arrived at the Hangzhou Bay Sea Flower Field Scenic Area, which can be said to be the backyard of Hangzhou. In spring, when the flowers bloom, we can enjoy various flowers here, which has become a popular scenic spot in Shangyu. However, when we arrived, it was already the beginning of autumn, and the flowers had withered, but it doesn't matter, every season has its own beauty.
A rural leisure theme park covering an area of approximately 660 acres, with many tourism projects such as pottery, flower art, horse racing, water boats, go karts, and more. Sitting on the water boat, you can sit for four people. It's a foot stepping experience, and the wind on the water is very comfortable, without any heat. Looking at the scenery on the shore, it seems like you have forgotten all your troubles and enjoyed it.
In the depths of the flower fields on the sea in Hangzhou Bay, there is a church with a large area of sunflowers in front of it, as well as a grassy slope with swings, peach blossom trees full of peach blossoms, and artistic bus scenes. This is a wedding square, perfect for taking beautiful photos. Beautiful girls and couples, hurry up! Mothers can also take their babies to play.
The go kart here is definitely something you can't miss, you've never seen such a professional track before. Make zero contact with the ground, drift a few more times, and keep your heart racing on this scorching track.
Regarding the ticket for the Hangzhou Bay Flower Field on the sea: The listed price is 110 yuan, and a special offer of 55 yuan per person is now available for national tourists. A free pedal boat is also offered, which will end at the end of 2020. Elderly people under 1.2 meters and 70 years old will also be eligible for free admission, as well as teachers who hold a press card, have more than 30 years of teaching experience, have a retirement certificate, a military officer certificate, a soldier certificate, a disabled soldier certificate, and a martyr's family pension certificate. By December 31, 2020, medical workers across the country will also be eligible for free admission with a medical certificate.
In the season of grapes, how can we not go to Gaibei, the hometown of grapes in China. The contiguous vineyard covers an area of over 5000 acres and has become the core vineyard for sightseeing. Take a walk on the Wild Vine Grape sightseeing and admire the Wild Vine Grapes of the Fruit Queen. Big and purple, each one resembles a purple pearl, crystal clear.
I couldn't help but take a photo of picking grapes. Supported by green leaves and purple grapes, it seems that I have become much younger, hehe.
There are many varieties of grapes in the Yeteng Grape Park. Try them, they are sour, sweet, refreshing, cool, and throat watering. Every summer, the lush greenery of the garden, the endless grape corridor, the lush foliage, and the fragrance of grapes fill the garden. Write one song after another here, "Grape Wine Night Glow Cup".
The address of Yeteng Grape Park is Fufu Village, Gaibei Town, Shangyu District. Bus routes 673, 671, and 678 can be obtained by getting off at the Gaibei Grape Base Bus Station.
After tasting the refreshing Gaibei grapes, we drove to the Zhonghua Xiaode Garden, which was the place of yesterday's night market. White clouds slowly drifted in the blue sky, which was the norm in summer. When encountering a free admission 4A scenic spot for the first time, filial piety is the top priority. Be sure to listen to the story of Shun in the Zhonghua Xiaode Garden.
The entire scenic area is majestic and solemn, with a simple and atmospheric atmosphere. In addition to experiencing the filial piety culture of the Chinese nation, one can also appreciate the exquisite architecture and carving art. The scenic area is built with two ancient Chinese moral and filial piety models, Yu Shun and filial daughter Cao E, as its core themes. It is a filial piety cultural theme park.
Following the trail along the mountain slope, you can see the stone carving art of the Shun traces in Shenzhou, carved on eighteen unique stones, depicting the wonderful life of Emperor Shun. From birth to the death of the birth mother, to being driven out by the stepmother, to going from Lishan to Leize, experiencing wind and rain, being framed by the stepmother but never caring about it, he heard about the world with filial piety. At the age of 91, after eight years of observation and testing, he finally led the world and proclaimed himself emperor. Later, he toured the four mountains, listened to the voices of the people, and even shed four evil spirits to eliminate harm for the people. Finally, he is revered as a holy and virtuous idol supported and worshipped by the people.
Passing through the "Bai Guan Bridge" where the officials of the Shun Society were stationed in Shangyu, one arrived at the "Shanmen Square" of the Great Shun Temple. The magnificent and ancient building in front of us is the Great Shun Temple. This is designed by Professor Zhu Guangya from Southeast University, a renowned Chinese master of ancient architectural design. There are many existing and newly built temples of the Three Emperors and Five Emperors in the country, mostly in the Ming and Qing architectural styles, while the architecture of the Dashun Temple is in the Qin and Han styles, making it more innovative and original.
Without a chance to carefully appreciate every mural and sculpture here, we arrived at the Hall of Great Shun. The plaque above, "Ming De Ancestor," was inscribed by Mr. Zhang Hai, Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. The Annals of the Five Emperors in the Records of the Grand Historian states: "All the virtues of the world began with Yu Shun.".
The bronze statue in the main hall is the Great Shun, who was the Holy Emperor of ancient China. This bronze statue of the Great Shun is the soul of the entire Great Shun Temple. Symbolizing the majesty of the Nine Five Sovereigns of ancient emperors.
On the ground is a finely carved picture of the Nine Provinces of Emperor Ku made of blue stones. This regional map is embedded on the ground of the main hall, presenting the entire territory of the Great Shun period in front of us.
Finally, stroll to the treasure of the entire scenic area, "Shungeng Group Sculptures". It is designed and produced by the international master of arts and crafts, Han Meilin, based on the story of "elephant farming and bird cultivation". It is currently the largest group carved stone elephant in Asia. It's really spectacular.
What is the feeling of waiting for a trial banquet at the Xiaode Garden, enjoying a simple dinner next to it, and by nightfall, there is a stunning water curtain movie at the Zhonghua Xiaode Garden. The atmosphere on site is really super good. There are two shows every Wednesday and Saturday evening, each on 19.15 and 20.15, with half an hour each. If the weather is bad, the show will be temporarily suspended. It is said that each water screen movie is limited to 1800 people, with a price of 10 yuan per person. You can purchase it with your ID card at the tourist service center of Zhonghua Xiaode Garden and the exit of Cultural Tourism Street.
The entire water curtain film combines the local culture of Shangyu, with five themed films including Yu Shun, Liang Zhu, Celadon, Cao E, and Tang Shizhi Road. On a summer night, there is such a place where you and your family can relax. It's really amazing.
In the cultural stories of Shangyu, another day has come to an end, and this is the third day of Shangyu tourism. The first stop is Dongshan Scenic Area, also known as Xieanshan. Suzhou also has Dongshan, so I have a deep memory of it. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the famous scholar Xie An lived in seclusion on this mountain for a long time before the age of 41, which led to a desirable story and gradually became a famous mountain in southeastern China.
At that time, many famous poets, such as Li Bai, He Zhizhang, Liu Changqing, Su Dongpo, etc., left behind many famous poems during the reign of Pan Heng, which became the source of Tang poetry. In the fourth year of the Eastern Jin Dynasty's life (360 AD), Xie An left Dongshan to pursue politics and became a famous politician. This is why idioms rose again in the East.
There are ten scenic spots in Dongshan, including the stone playing pipa, the four beautiful women listening to the qin, the Xie An fishing platform, the peach blossom water under the Sanban Bridge, the rose cave, the washing clog pond, the Tiaoma Road, the turtle and snake two generals, the Bainiugang, and the Shining Spring. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we were unable to appreciate each one.
Xie An's tomb is located at the top of the Dongshan Mountain, with his head resting on the peaks and ridges, and his head resting on the "beginning of peace". Left column of Donggang, right screen of Xiling, negative yin embracing yang, hiding wind and obtaining water, is a blessed land.
The three characters "Shining Spring" next to the cemetery are clear and distinguishable. The spring water is as green as the past, and the ancient camphor trees around it emit a distant fragrance, which is thought-provoking.
Xie An's stone statue stands tall and focused, with an aura of only a thousand horses and a calm and serene aura in his eyes. If you want to export it into poetry, you must take this path of Tang poetry.
On the last stop of the last day, I became an archaeologist. At the Phoenix Mountain Archaeological Site Park, I took a sightseeing bus and drove past the reservoir dam. From a distance, the mountains and waters were green, and the beautiful mountains were reflected on the clear water surface. A poetic painting was slowly unfolding. Then we arrived at the exhibition shed of the Forbidden Mountain Kiln Site.
At the Forbidden Mountain Kiln Site, we can see three well preserved dragon kilns, which were excavated from May to October 2014 by the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Archaeology in collaboration with the Shangyu Yue Kiln Celadon Development Research Center. Excavated with an area of 800 square meters, three kiln beds were exposed, and a large amount of high-quality and mature celadon ware was unearthed.
So, celadon culture became the soul of the park and a good place for children to study. Yue kiln celadon has become an important urban business card of Shangyu, inheriting and promoting celadon culture, and reshaping the brand image of porcelain source.
"In the ninth autumn wind and dew, the Yue kiln opens, capturing the emerald colors of thousands of peaks." This is a poem by Tang Dynasty poet Lu Guimeng praising the celadon of the Yue kiln. In the old factory area of Shangpu Town, there is a porcelain source cultural town where many exhibits of Shangyu ceramics can be enjoyed..
Studying in the porcelain source cultural town, one can also learn from ceramic craftsmen and experience the production of ceramics, creating their own celadon works. Let's seriously immerse ourselves in this "porcelain city".
During the three days and two nights in Shangyu, I met many people and learned a lot. Traveling always broadens my horizons, adjusts my mindset, and brings endless happiness. May you meet beauty on the road, and may your life always be colorful.
