I turned slowly in the morning, so I could only pick the key points in the afternoon. We first arrived at Songshiwu Garden, which is closest to us. It is actually the location of the "Songping Stone Exhibition Hall in Tongli Town", separated by a wall from the Pearl Tower Scenic Area, and is only a hundred steps south from Fuguan Bridge. The garden is not big. The garden is lush with lush vegetation, swaying bamboo shadows, intertwined with water, forest and shade. The century-old ginkgo trees are tall and tall, and the well-arranged pink walls and black tiles further set off the dignity and beauty of the parapet. The garden scenery is elegant and quiet. It is an excellent place to store and admire stones.
There are more than 1,200 pieces of fine pine screen stone paintings on display in Wuyuan. It is a collection collected by Mr. Zhang Jiaxin, former director of the Design Department of the Engineering Corporation of the Ministry of Railways, and his wife, Ms. Wang Yuejun, for more than 30 years (now presented to the Tongli Government). Songshi Wuyuan is an exhibition hall built by the Tongli Town Government to permanently preserve this precious natural and cultural heritage.
Most of these stones are flat and layered, of varying sizes, and the patterns on them are very aesthetic. Songping Stone is also known as Songshi and Jiuding Stone. Its collection can be traced back to the pre-Qin Dynasty and was also very popular in the Tang Dynasty. It was formed more than 200 million years ago. Because there are many tree branches and leaves on the stone surface, I always thought that it was a fossil of a plant or a manual painting. After reading the introduction, I realized that the real cause was that oxides of iron and manganese penetrated into the rock formation, forming various patterns. These patterns matched the color of the stone and became simple and elegant natural pictures. Some of them are like landscapes, some are like characters, some are like the world, some are like heaven, earth and the universe. Most of them are sections of rocks. The exhibits are divided into five parts, named "Heaven and Earth Chapter","Humanities Chapter","Zen Thoughts Chapter","Warning Chapter" and "Essay", and are displayed in seven exhibition halls respectively.
What I admire most is the persistence of collectors and the hardship of collecting. According to reports, these precious collections were collected by Mr. Zhang Jiaxin and his wife, Ms. Wang Yuejun, on various working surfaces in the mountains and rivers where railways were built to open tunnels and lay bridges. The railway lines involved include Chengdu-Kunming, Xiangyu, Sichuan-Guizhou, Baocheng, Beijing-Zhangjiakou, Beijing-Shanghai, etc. The difficult working environment has not destroyed their artistic aesthetic taste and the persistence and tenacity of collectors. When you look at those turquoise stones, you will be amazed at how they are preserved and transported. These precious collections collected in Shipi Lane reflect the collectors 'perception of life. Perhaps it is just like the couplet they wrote themselves,"The stone breaks in the stone lane and the stone skin presents the heavenly book. When my heart is calm, I realize my enlightenment." Collectors take it as their own responsibility to decipher the heavenly book and understand life, which is why they have such a collection. This is the purpose of the exhibition hall, the so-called "enlightenment garden".
When you arrive in Tongli, you have to visit Tuisi Garden. This private garden built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty has almost become Tongli's business card. Tuisi Garden is a private garden owned by Ren Lansheng on Bingbei Road in the Qing Dynasty. It was built in the 11th to 13th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1885-1887 AD). In the tenth year of Guangxu (1884 AD), Zhou Derunxun, a bachelor of the cabinet, and Ren Lansheng settled in Lijin to enrich himself. In the first month of the 11th year of Guangxu (1885 AD), the officials and officials were dismissed. However, due to the fact that all the merits of the investigation were false, the ministry discussed to remove them. Ren Lansheng resigned from his post and returned to his hometown. He spent 100,000 taels of silver to build a homestead named "Tuisi". It is derived from the meaning of "thinking and being loyal, and thinking and making up for mistakes" in "Zuo Zhuan". Tuisi Garden was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 2001 and was recently listed among the first batch of 20 national key parks in my country. Yuan Long, the designer of Tuisi Garden, has the name Dongli and is familiar with poetry, poetry, painting and calligraphy. Based on the characteristics of Jiangnan water towns, he adapted measures to local conditions, and carefully conceived it, and it took two years to build this garden. The park covers an area of only nine acres and eight cents. It is simple and unadorned, but also quiet and elegant. It has the architectural style of Jiangnan gardens in the late Qing Dynasty. Tuisi Garden has a unique layout, with pavilions, terraces, buildings, pavilions, corridors, squares, bridges, pavilions, halls, halls, rooms, and pavilions. It has a pool as the center, and the buildings are like floating on water. The layout is compact and natural, combined with plant configuration, embellishes the scenery of the four seasons. When you enter the garden, your eyes will shine. It makes people feel clear, quiet and clear. Due to the limitations of the terrain and the reluctance of the owner to show his wealth, the architectural pattern of Tuisi Garden broke through the convention and changed from vertical to horizontal, from west to east, with houses in the west, courtyards in the middle, and gardens in the east. The house is outside the house and the inner house. The outer house has three entrances to the sedan hall, flower hall and main hall. The sedan hall and flower hall are generally used for receiving guests and parking the sedan chair. When weddings, ancestral ceremonies or dignitaries arrive, the main hall is opened to show the solemnity.
When we arrived here, it was already afternoon and there were very few people, so we could take photos while walking. The entrance gate enters the inner courtyard. There are two buildings built in the north and south. They are named Wanxiang Building after the owner's name. They are the living place for the owner and his family. The building is connected by a corridor of "Zouma Tower", with long floor-to-ceiling windows in the north and south. A sill is hung on the bottom of the building on the fifth floor, and the eaves and corridors are connected to each other, making it elegant and open. There are stairs on the east and west sides of the complex corridor. You don't use the waterway on rainy days and can shade the sun on sunny days. It is said that among the Ming and Qing buildings in Tongli, only the two doors are original, and the rest are replicas of modern times.
The atrium is the transition from the West House to the East Garden. Looking at the courtyard, you can see camphor leaves covered like a cover, ancient orchids fragrance, elegant and deep, and fascinating. The most eye-catching thing is the courtyard dry boat, which floats on the water, much like a ferry cruise ship in the Summer Palace. The eight long windows in the front cabin are like brocade screens and obstacles, separated from each other continuously. The bow faces the "cloud and cloud lock key" moon cave door. The ship's hull is connected to each other through the windows and a hidden corridor, concealing the stern, just like a passenger ship waiting to be sailed. The dry boat is in addition to the buildings of the Spring Moon Tower, Range Rover Pavilion, Yingbin House, and New Year Cold House on both sides, adding to the aesthetic feeling. In the classical gardens of the south of the Yangtze River, stone boats and stone workshops are extremely common. From them, we can briefly see that people in the water town have a special attachment complex for water and boats. Climbing the Spring Moon Building, you can watch the moon all year round and recite poems and sing, or you can walk on the moon in front of the building and quietly admire the flowers and trees. The most beautiful thing in the Jiangnan water town is water. Pavilions and pavilions are built on the water's edge, and the moon is watched by the water. We have to recite poems. No wonder the moon in the poems of the ancients is often accompanied by water.
The east corner of the building is the Range Rover Pavilion. The Range Rover Pavilion is an irregular pentagonal pavilion that is commanding high and provides a panoramic view of the East Garden. This is unique among Jiangnan mansions gardens. Range Rover Pavilion allows female guests to enjoy the scenery in the garden without leaving home.
Opposite the Spring Moon Tower are Yingbin Residence and Suihan Residence. The garden owner once met friends here through literature and cultivated his temperament. New Year's Cold Residence is backed by a small building and clouds and clouds that lock the gate of the Moon Cave, inviting tourists to enter the East Garden to enjoy the scenery. To the south of the winding corridor is a red boat. In Tuisi Garden, my favorite thing most is the most dynamic "Red Boat". This stone boat stands out in the pool and is supported by lake rocks. It has a head and no tail. It is half immersed in the blue waves. The wind cannot move it, and the waves cannot shake it. Standing on the bow of the boat, it feels like a small boat is swimming on a lake, and the gurgling water can be heard endlessly. On the water side of the ship, the reflection of the traveling clouds floated, as if the boat had set sail, which was interesting. Around the stone boat, lotus flowers and mushroom cattails are originally planted. In summer and autumn, the breeze is gentle and the green clouds are shaking. Unfortunately, it's spring now, and I can't enjoy the lotus. There are many fish swimming in the lotus pond. They seem to understand human nature and give them a little high-fiving. They left in groups and were extremely interesting.
Tuisi Cottage is simple, elegant, stable and elegant, which clarifies the theme of the garden. The north of the hall is dotted with architectural sketches, and the terrace on the south of the hall faces the lotus pool. Standing on the terrace can look around the whole garden. Follow the winding path south to the Mushroom Rain Rising Liangxuan. It is said that there is another unique place in this pavilion. There are originally three watercourses at the bottom of the pavilion, and the lotus pond and clear water circulates between them. Therefore, the interior of the pavilion is damp and cool. Every summer heat, I cut melons here to enjoy the lotus, and my thirst will be eliminated. From the Wild Rain Rising Liangxuan passing through the rockery cave and circling up the stone steps, you will arrive at the overpass, which can be called a unique garden in the south of the Yangtze River, and your eyes are suddenly enlightened. The overpass, with a bridge on the top and a corridor on the bottom, is similar to the compound road of Afang Palace. Born out of the sky, flying over the top of the mountain, connecting the mushroom rain Shengliang Xuan, and integrating with Xintai. The overpass runs through the front and back, and the wind blows from all directions. When it is hot and hot, you come here to cool off and feel refreshed. But unfortunately, for some unknown reason, the water here turns red. When asked about it, the waiter said he didn't know the reason. But I know that there must be a source of pollution. I am once again worried about the water in Tongli. If water cannot be protected, how long can the beautiful scenery of Tongli last?
As we walked and watched, we couldn't imagine that there would be such rich households and such luxurious gardens in such a small place. Later, we also watched Chongbentang. It is said that many movies and television dramas such as Dream of the Red Chamber and The West Chamber were filmed here. The carving art here is superb, which is rare in Jiangnan. There is one garden and two halls here. The houses, no matter how big or small, give people a comfortable feeling and have high artistic appreciation value.
I really love the water towns in Jiangnan. Whether it is the Pearl Tower or the Tuisi Garden, there must be clear ponds and rippling water in the garden. This brick-wood-stone building is flexible and smooth because of the water. Tongli Ancient Town is densely covered with gardens, with rivers outside and green ponds inside. Water inside and outside has been accumulated for thousands of years. No wonder it is so full of aura and has become a famous town in the south of the Yangtze River with a rich cultural heritage and a large number of celebrities and people with lofty ideals. The small ancient town of Tongli carries too much humanistic content.
At the end of our swim, we suddenly found that time was passing too fast. It was nearly 4 o'clock. If we wanted to think of Luoxingzhou, we had to hurry up. So we took a tricycle. He pulled us to the dock as fast as possible and caught up with us. At 4:15, the last boat was seen. Because it is a universal ticket, the boat is free. Tongli Lake is very big, and the electric boat drives very fast, rowing through the blue waves and heading for Luoxingzhou, a small island in the lake. In addition to us, there was also a young couple on the boat. They saw the island surrounded by the lake about 10 minutes away. From afar, you can see the yellow walls of the temple and the rooftops with the cornices. After landing, I found that the island was very small, with only one Guanyin Temple. There is not much incense in the temple, probably because you have to take a boat to get to the island. I saw a few monks. The wind is very strong on the island. When the wind blows, I hear the lonely sound of wind chimes under the eaves. It makes people feel that the island is isolated and desolate. Outside the temple is a huge garden. The island in spring is actually very beautiful. There is also an inner lake on the small island. There is a large pavilion by the lake. I don't know what it does. In the distance, I can also see a small pavilion built along the water. There are only us here, which gives people a feeling of loneliness. The flowers are in full bloom, and the butterflies flying in the sea of flowers seem lonely, but the willow silk is soft and floating like smoke, making people feel trance and ethereal. We were walking around the island while paying attention to the last boat. Almost all the staff here did not live on the island, and they also took the same boat back with us. At 5:10, the boat arrived.
Back in Tongli, the same tricycle was waiting at the dock to take us back to the town. I bought "Wansanjiao" and prepared to take it home. Although Shen still decided to carry it. The people in Tongli on the one-day trip left, and the sky gradually became dark. We walked aimlessly in the town. All the shops in the town were ready. It was time for the moon to rise. We decided to change our place to eat. When we were taking a boat in the morning, the sister-in-law who was rocking the boat introduced us to the Li family's restaurant and said it was good. So we walked across the Jili Bridge and found this one. Probably thinking that no one would come, they also cleared the table on the street. Seeing that we were here, they quickly set it up again.
This is by a small river to the west of the Lujia Inn. It doesn't seem to be the main road of Tongli, but cruise ships pass by here. So we sat by the water's edge, the Li family and his son, the old one received guests and the young one made some food. Lao Li served the fragrant new tea and brought us a newspaper introducing Xiao Li. I didn't expect Xiao Li to be a celebrity here. There were many antique poems published in the newspaper. We read a few of them, but they looked decent, but we didn't memorize a few lines. He once worked as a tour guide in Sichuan and other places, introducing his hometown Tongli to many people. It should be said that he has made certain contributions to the development of Tongli tourism. We served Xiao Li's famous steamed pork with rice flour, as well as new lotus roots and snails, and we ate slowly. After Xiao Li was fine, he chatted casually with us. After many years of hard work, I saw that Xiao Li was a little tired and was not optimistic about the prospects of the tourism industry. Every night, he would go to the Internet cafe to play games. It's a pity that he was talented. While chatting with Xiao Li, I don't know when the moon really rose. There are few lights in Tongli at night. There are only a few street lights, but the moon looks very big and bright. The moonlight shines on the water and is shattered by the water waves, flashing, as if dodging your eyes.
"The moon is still the moon, and the stars are still the stars." The curved boats and curved bridges have not changed. People have changed. The pursuit of the beauty of life is beyond reproach, but the environment must not be sacrificed at the expense of. Zhouzhuang has become a commercial town. The boats in the water are crowded together like porridge, and there are bustling tourists everywhere. The beauty of the water town lies in its artistic conception. Without the artistic conception, the beauty of the town will disappear. The beauty of Tongli is precisely because of its tranquility. Especially in the early morning, in the faint morning fog, everything seems simple and unpretentious. School children and vegetable sales cars signal the beginning of a day's life for fellow residents. Go to Tongli. Don't go when there are many people. I hope that Tongli people can still sing those ancient ballads, of course, beautiful ballads, from generation to generation.
